After the exchange event and their mission, the first and second years took some time to relax and take a breather. Since it was officially slow season, they had a night off to enjoy each other's company. The two groups met in a common area of the dorms. They told jokes and talked as they ate miscellaneous foods together.

"I can't believe we had to fight our sister school because some old man didn't like Itadori!" Nobara groaned with a mouth full of food.

"Well think about it Kugisaki. He is the literal vessel of the king of curses. Do you really blame him for skepticism?" Maki laughed.

"Hey! I'm right here you know!" Yuji whined.

"Speaking of…" Panda chimed in. "We haven't gotten a good chance to get to know you yet, Itadori. Obviously, your team does but they missed two months with you. Why don't we play a game to get to know each other better?"

"Bonito flakes…" Inumaki said.

"Yeah, like what?" Yuji asked, tilting his head curiously.

"We can play never have I ever… truth or dare… strip poker…" Nobara rattled off.

"We are not playing strip poker." Maki said annoyed. "Megumi? Do you have anything to add?"

"Not particularly." Megumi mumbled, barely looking up from his ramen.

"Why don't we play never have I ever? It seems like a little bit safer of a choice. We eat a piece of sushi every time we did something. Sound good?" Yuji suggested.

"Salmon." Inumaki nodded.

"Well, its decided then." Maki smiled. "Kugisaki, you get to start since you named the game!"

"Hm…" Nobara tapped her chin. "Never have I ever been to a designer shoe store."

"Really Kugisaki? Most of us are guys!" Yuji said.

"Well, it's what I thought of on short notice!" She barked back. "You go Yuji!"

"Never have I ever been to Kyoto." Yuji shrugged. The second years ate a piece of sushi, having just returned there from a mission. "Maki? You want to go?"

"Never have I ever kissed a girl." Maki said. Nobara, Fushiguro, and Inumaki all took pieces of sushi. Maki raised a brow. "Really now Itadori?"

"Nah… to be honest I don't really like girls like that." Yuji shrugged.

"We didn't know you were gay Itadori." Nobara said.

"Because I've never told anyone before." He admitted. Megumi looked up from his food at the blushing man next to him. He had a hunch about his friend but never confirmed.

"Man, we didn't mean to force you out here!" Panda apologized. "Not that we care about who you date. That's none of our business."

"Its not a big deal. Just wasn't really brought up. Especially with disappearing for 2 months and training and trying to find the other fingers." Yuji laughed. The group continued to play with game, Megumi however, was lost in thought. He thought about why he saved Itadori that day… his trust in his teammate… his own past… his own feelings. Before he knew it, the group split off to their own dorms for the night.

Megumi laid in his bed, thinking about everything. He tossed and turned but couldn't get that confession out of his head. Around midnight, he got out of bed and knocked on Itadori's door next to his room. No one came up to answer the door. The man sighed, heading outside to the courtyard to get some fresh air. It was there that he spotted his pink haired teammate. He sat sitting on the steps, looking up at the moon. Megumi sat beside him on the stairs.

"Oh, hey Fushiguro… can't sleep?" Yuji asked as the other sat down.

"No… you couldn't sleep either?" Megumi looked over at him.

"Unfortunately, no… Sukuna won't shut up tonight for some reason." Yuji shrugged. "He just keeps yelling at me for no reason."

"What is he yelling at you about? When did this start?" Megumi raised a brow.

"Oh, I've been able to hear him since the beginning. I'm usually just able to tune him out. However, he is really upset about what I said earlier. I sometimes forget he can hear everything I say." Yuji laughed.

"Why would he be upset about that? Curses don't have feelings like that." Megumi asked.

"Its more of he has absolutely no interest in it, so he wants to try and forbid me from ever dating anyone. He's kinda grouchy. Maybe he's the one that just needs to get laid to feel better." Yuji joked.

"I'm not sure if that's exactly how it works for curses." Megumi said, looking up at the night sky.

"Eh its worth a try. I know it makes humans feel better. At least I'm pretty positive it does." Yuji chuckled.

"You mean you don't know for certain?" Megumi raised a brow at him.

"Well, no… I've never even dated anyone before. Haven't exactly had time. Gramps died then I met you then the whole Sukuna thing and you know… dying and coming back to life." Yuji said, a bit embarrassed.

"Then how do you know about… you?" Megumi hesitated to ask.

"I've always known. I just don't like girls like that. Guys however… I'm not sure I just get butterflies in my stomach sometimes. Its really hard to explain." Yuji smiled over at Megumi. "I just know what I am. But it doesn't really matter anymore…"

"Not true at all. Look at the clans. They have kids all the time. Jujutsu sorcerers have partners and families. Its just more dangerous for us." The shikigami user explained.

"Yeah, but none of them have the king of curses inside them." Yuji sighed. "If that isn't the biggest deal breaker, I don't know what is."

"There's someone out there for everyone Itadori. Have a little confidence." Megumi patted him on the back.

"What about you? Why are you single?" Yuji asked. "You didn't really participate in the games tonight."

"What can I say I'm a bit antisocial in Kugisaki's words." Megumi shrugged.

"Come on man… its something more than that. You're so strong and a good listener. Chicks gotta be all over you." Yuji laughed.

"Maybe that is the problem." Megumi sighed.

"What do you mean?"

"I may be in the same boat as you." Megumi practically whispered.

"The whole not liking girl's thing?" Yuji blinked.

"That would be why I asked how you knew…" The shikigami user stood up quickly. He was embarrassed to open up like that in the middle of the night when they should be asleep.

"Really? You… you also like guys then?" Yuji needed the clarity.

"Yeah I do." Megumi said, facing away. "You better not tell anyone… please…"

"I won't… I understand the hesitation I really do." Yuji got up and came up next to him. He put a hand on his shoulder. "You ok Fushiguro?"

"Yeah… it actually feels kinda good to come clean on that. It's a little hard for me but that's the only attraction I've ever felt. And I really don't feel it often." Megumi looked over at Yuji. "Do you feel it often?"

"No not really. Especially with everything going on lately. My mind tends to be a little bit preoccupied with curses." Yuji laughed.

"Do you feel it now?" Megumi whispered.

"What do you mean?" The pink haired man tilted his head a bit. Megumi turned to face Yuji and backed him up against the wall of the dorms. He tilted the other mans chin up and kissed him gently. Yuji's eyes closed, his arms wrapping around Megumi's shoulders quickly.

"That… is what I mean when I asked if you felt any attraction…" Megumi murmured, barely breaking the kiss.

"I didn't think you had it in you Fushiguro." Yuji smirked. "And to answer that question is yes… yes I definitely do."

"Thank goodness it isn't just me. And you can call me Megumi you know…" He smiled back as he put his hands on the others hips.

"I thought you hated your first name." The other man looked confused.

"Not when you say it…" A faint blush came over Megumi's pale face. "Why don't we go back to my room… I think there's some stuff we should discuss…"

"Yeah, probably a good idea it's a little open out here. Gojo probably has already seen us." Yuji groaned internally at that thought.

"No, he's away on business for at least another three days. Everyone else is asleep. We are safe. I just want us to have a bit more privacy." Megumi led him inside to his dorm room, shutting the door quietly. Yuji sat on the bed and pulled the other hand, so Megumi sat on the bed next to him.

"I guess the first place to start is do you want to keep this between us? Yuji asked softly. "I understand if you do…"

"Itadori." Megumi sighed and took both his hands. "Just for a bit. Simply because we are on the same team and no one knows about me. Its nothing to do with you or hiding or anything like that. Just… to test the waters."

"I understand. I really do." Yuji smiled warmly. "I have a question about us…"

"What is it?" He asked.

"Which one of us is the top and which is the bottom?" Yuji asked, blushing a bit. Megumi swiftly pinned the smaller man to his bed, holding both wrists above his head. He leaned down and kissed the other man gently.

"Take a guess Itadori…" He whispered in the kiss. "Are you okay with being the bottom?"

"We…aren't doing it tonight are we?" The pink haired man asked.

"No not tonight… not until you want to." Megumi said. He gently let up on his grip and helped him sit up.

"Somehow I didn't expect that out of you Megumi…" Yuji laughed. "I'm really happy things turned out this way tonight. I promise to keep it quiet."

"Just for now. It won't be like that forever." The Shikigami user put a hand on the other man's cheek. "I can promise you that."

"I trust you." Itadori smiled. He kissed the other man gently. "I'm gonna head back to my room. I'll see you in the morning. We still training?"

"Yeah of course… see you in the morning Itadori." Megumi smiled softly at the kiss.

"Yuji… is fine… you don't need to formal with me if I don't have to be formal with you." The pink haired man blushed a bit. He got up and headed towards the door.

"Goodnight Yuji." Megumi said, squeezing his hand a bit before letting go. The other man smiled and disappeared into the hallway. He sighed and laid in bed. He couldn't help but smile at the events of the night. He never really knew why he saved Itadori… besides the want to save good people. Maybe this was the reason… because fate had other plans for the two.

Yuji flopped down on his bed, sighing in relief. He laughed a bit, pleased on how the evening turned out. He definitely didn't expect that from his friends… or Megumi for that matter. But it felt good… it felt right.

"Oh, this will definitely be a fun time." Yuji head Sukuna say.

"Shut up… this isn't for or about you in any way." Yuji sighed.

"That's what you think." Sukuna laughed. "Enjoy your boy toy… but don't forget I don't like that kid."

"Again… I don't particularly care." Yuji sighed. Sukuna just laughed… more than normal. It made Yuji a bit uneasy, however he ignored it. Not even the king of curses could ruin tonight for him.
