The sun rays hit Rins eyes, and she awoke immediately, "So much for sleeping in." Turning over, she looks at the clock, Saturday, 8am. It has been a long time coming, she finally finished her program in Computer Science and as a requirement for graduation you have to take on a internship. She applied for many internships but the one that interested her the most was for InUTaishO Tech. They have the most advanced technology; but many people do not like to associate themselves with the company because well it's ran by demons.

Rin on the other hand did not care, she wanted to know as much as possible, it was most definitely a calling for her. When she was younger, she would tear things apart and make them 10 times new, she was a master at technology as she thought anyway. It would be a couple days to find out who would accept her. As she lays in bed, anxiety kicks in and it becomes painful having to wait for an answer.

She manages to swing herself out of bed to get ready for the day. She supposed it would not hurt spending time with family and friends until a decision is made. She goes to her closet and picks out some blue ripped skinny jeans, a white cami top with a brown solid waterfall coat and brown knee boots, with jewelry and sunglasses to match the look. Whenever Rin can dress in casual wear, it made her feel like she could be who she truly was outside of the tech world, Fashion would be her second calling. Rin had a petite frame, she was smaller in stature, a height of 5'0, noticeable hips, curvaceous we should say which can bring a lot of unwanted attention.

She mainly wanted to focus on her career so she avoided a lot of bars and clubs during hours that may attract people she particularly did not care for. She did love going out bowling and to Top Golf with friends when had the time of course. Rin was not particularly looking for love but she would not deny it if it ever decided to come her way, she was not looking for a distraction or dismissal of her wants and dreams. As long as they were on the same page, she didn't see what was wrong with possibly stepping into the love territory.

Rin checked her text messages, receiving one from her closest friends Kagome, even though she was a bit older than her, they became the closest friends. Kagome told her not to worry so much, and that everything would work out. She received some from her Mother, begging to spend time with her busy daughter. She had a couple voicemails but nothing too extreme. She wanted a light breakfast, so she had toast and avocado spread with a glass of sparkling water. She gives her mom a call to let her know she is on her way to spend a day with the family.

Arriving at her parents house, she is greeted by the family dog, Maze. "I knew you would never forget me."

She hears a voice in the distance, "Rin, is that you sweetie." "Hi, Mom!" Her mother held her so tight, it had been a year since she last seen her family because she was so highly focused, she would facetime but of course parents will never see that as enough. She walked in her childhood home everything looked the same, nothing out of order, her room still the same since she left for college. She smelled the aroma of dinner her mom was cooking, upon walking in the kitchen she is greeted by her father, and brothers.

They all sat down around the table and talked about old times. They played a couple board games and watched a football game. She looked around the room and was like this is exactly what I needed; it is nothing like spending time with family. This was the balance she needed, and it took her mind off when she would get notice of her internship, she wanted to graduate with her classmen and not separately. If she did not hear nothing tomorrow, she thought why not stay another day with the family, it was peaceful. She thought, Monday for sure she would hear something back.
