A/N: So a bit of warning that I have absolutely no idea where this will go to. Just that I wanna type it down and share the story that I can't seem to get rid of in my head.
"They don't need to know," tired, sunset orange eyes reflected back at him from the mirror. A wry smile was set into place on his face. "There's nothing wrong after all."
A bitter laugh echoed within the bathroom walls, one that's installed within his room in the Vongola Mansion. Tsuna slid down to sit on the cold tiled floor, his back lays flat near the corner of the bathroom wall as he curled on himself, never minding when he started crying ā crying never solves anything, oh, dear, please stopstopstop ā regarding the same nonsense that had plagued his mind for many, many years.
"It's alright," he takes a shuddering breath while he clutched the Sky Vongola ring close to his heart. "Everything will be alright."
One deep breath.
Two.
Then three.
Tsuna slowly but gradually calmed the fast beating of his heart.
"That's right. Everything will be alright," he convinced himself with a weak smile, his eyes fighting the surge of sudden drowsiness that seemed to attack his system. "Iā," he choked down another tired sob. " I just... have... to... believe."
And then, there was silence.
Silence and a lone, tired teen's rhythmic breathing that signified his deep sleep.
Not far from him though lays a few drops of darkening blood on the floor; a few unravelled bandages left alone near the sink were forgotten.
The smell of blood is in the air and the stupid hateful smell of medicine lingered alongside it as if mocking the teen of his fate. Taunting him of his damning disease and the worry that consistently pesters his mind.
But of course, nobody needs to know that other than him, and Tsuna prefers it to be that way till the very end.
