One- Peter and Wendy

This is the first little story in this series of drabbles I'm working on. There is no real timeline here, logan and rory are married and have a child, you can imagine how they got there anyway you want. hope you like it lol!

Rory walked out of her closet tying a blue ribbon around her loose curls and smoothing out her blue nightgown. She went over the mirror and swiped on some simple lipgloss and added a little bit of mascara, just some light makeup to feel pretty but nothing to distract from the innocent look she was going for.

Her and Logan take Halloween very seriously. It started with outrageous parties at the pub during their Yale years, then slowly transformed into (slightly less outrageous) parties at their home. This year was no different, except that it was the first time their daughter would be in attendance.

For her first two Halloweens Rory and Logan decided to have little Lorelai Lane stay with Grammy Lorelai and Grandpa Luke. This year though Laney (as she goes by) was ready to join in the festivities.

Once she was all ready Rory ventured into her daughter's room to see her husband decked out in his costume. Green shirt, green shorts, green tights with leaves, and even a pointy hat. How Rory got him to wear a Peter costume so true to the Disney cartoon was lost on many, but those close to them knew how Rory and Laney had him wrapped around their little fingers. One look into the girls' beautiful blue eyes and he was putty in their hands.

Rory stood in the doorway watching as her husband laughed and giggled with his daughter, putting her blonde curls into a bun and straightening out her green dress and fairy wings.

"So, Miss Laney Loo, are you excited to show off your costume tonight?" Logan asked the grinning toddler.

"Daddy!! You can't call me Laney anymore!" she yelled through giggles pulling on her wings, "I'm tinker bell!!"

"Oh you're right, I'm terribly sorry Tink" Logan told his daughter flashing his trademark smirk, but this one wasn't one of arrogance or the look of a total douchebag, this was one of pure joy and love. The kind where you could see his eyes crinkle at the sides, and the love seeping from his brown irises.

Logan loved being a dad. He was terrified when Rory first told him she was pregnant, he was terrified of becoming his father, but Rory got him to calm down. She always knew he would make an excellent dad, imagining him taking their children on adventures and reading them stories with her, and she was right about all of it. Logan Huntzberger loved nothing more than taking care of his Ace and his Laney Loo. They were his girls, and he would stop at nothing to give them the world.

Laney was so close to her dad. While she has her mother's eyes, nose, fair skin, and appetite, she got her hair, smile, energy, and charm from her dad. She was always eager to be close to him and wanting to do everything her Daddy did. She would even go as far as playing "board meeting" with her dollies and pretend to be a "big boss" like her father, and Logan loved every minute of it. When that little girl said jump, he said "how high?"

"Are we ready to get this show on the road?" Rory asked, finally letting her presence be known to the other two.

"Wow Ace you look absolutely darling" Logan smiled picking up his little girl and handing her to her mommy.

"Miss Tinkerbelle, will you tell your father that his dad jokes are getting cornier by the day" Rory said tickling Laney, who could only giggle in response.

"Oh come on Ace, it's a holiday! Give me a break!" Logan said leaning in to peck his wife on the cheek.

"Yeah Momma give Daddy a break!" Laney grinned.

This year the Huntzbergers are going as characters from Peter Pan. They thought it fit them perfectly, a boy who never wants to grow up (accompanied by, in his case very drunk, lost boys) becoming infatuated by a mature brunette who teaches him how to become an adult. Thus this year for their annual bash Logan is Peter, Rory is Wendy, and little Laney is Tinkerbelle. They will even be joined by the other lost boys, Finn and captain hook, and Colin as Smee (Robert was going to fill in as Tik Tok Croc, but he got a nasty stomach bug and will not be in attendance).

"Are you too going to gain up on me like Peter and Tink do in the movie all night?" Rory asked her family with raised eyebrows. Logan just smiled, then whispered something in the little girl's ear, sending her into a fit of giggles. Laney calmed down a bit and wiggled in her Mom's arms reaching out to her Dad.

As Rory handed her over she smiled, she had her favorite people with her and they were happy.

As Logan grabbed his girl he smiled, he had his girls with him and they were celebrating his favorite holiday.

Life really couldn't get better than this.
