Chapter 1 joy Hecate hardbroom is sick and collapses her secret daughter comes to cackles and is reveled.It was May 7, 2021 and Joy Hecate HardBroom was a woman of many secrets first indigo moon who was now free, then her being sick which she is keeping secret, and another she has a daughter who is coming to cackles, but she does not know that. Not yet at least and so everyone was out in the front because they had all heard a new student was coming, and ada, Mildred, and indigo tried to convince her to lay down they knew she was sick, indigo said" joy your going to over push yourself please its hot out here and you're running a fever." Hecate said" I promise once we greet the new student and get her settled I will get some rest here she comes" as she got closer they saw a girl with silver and black hair crystal blue eyes and ruby red lips and pale snow ivory skin, Hecate couldn't believe her eyes when the young witch landed and ada bows with her hand on her head and said" well met young lady who might you be" and ethel sarcastically said" in the middle of a school year why would even enroll in the mild of the school and you call yourself a witch", Hecate snapped protectively over the young witch who was just ten at ethel and said" I would watch my tongue if I were you ethel hallow ", ethel said" why are you freaking out", Hecate was about to say something when she collapsed and passes out to the ground, Mildred said" miss hardbroom!", ada said " Hecate!", and indigo said " joy!" and the young girl ran over to her and said" mommy! Why did you not you call me sooner", they looked at the girl in shock they couldn't believe that she called Hecate mommy, ada said" sweetheart how old are you", the young girl said" I am ten, but I am a witch prodigy why are you asking, Mildred said" who are you to miss hardbroom" , the young girl said" oh sorry about that mommy says always introduce yourself even in crisis " and the young girl got up and stand putting her hand on her forehead and said" well met everyone my name is serenity joyette hecatetia hardbroom", sybil said" why do you have the same last name as miss hardbroom" serenity said" that's because I'm her daughter ", ada said" oh my lets get your mother to the nurse office and we can do your paper work there cause I assume you wont want to leave your mother", serenity said" yes ma'am come on silver moon", indigo said" silver moon?", a black and silver moon colored cat jumped out of her case, serenity said" that's my kitty's name silver moon I just got her for my birthday I just turned ten today's my birth day" , ada said" well happy birthday", they walked to the nurse office and did serenity's paper work and Hecate woke up and said" what happened " indigo said" well joy your full of secrets why didn't you ever tell us you had a daughter" and as soon as indigo said that Hecate looked around then spotted her daughter who had been crying because she was worried, she sighed and held out her arms and serenity ran over crying Hecate said" what are you doing here I thought we said next birthday", serenity said" grandma said I was old enough to go now and sent me anyway " Hecate sighed and coughed , Hecate said" well I guess you filed the paperwork while I was out" , serenity nods, Hecate said" then I guess you're staying and I guess you'll be my substitute for potions class", serenity said" really! Mommy you mean it I have been memorizing all your potion's notebooks", and Hecate smiled weakly and nodded, and she said" you are a big girl now you and silver moon can do it and with your godmothers' permission I hope" ada gasped Hecate made her serenity's godmother, ada said" I would be honored to have her teach here at cackles ill keep her in your room until your better ", Hecate smiled weakly yawning, ada said" I think its time you got some sleep say goodbye serenity we need to go make the announcement", serenity said" yes auntie ada", and they got up and started leaving and Hecate said" oh and serenity", serenity said" yes mommy", and Hecate said" you show ethel hallow who you are show her who serenity joyette hecatetia hardbroom is and that you wont let her bully you or bring you down your my daughter", serenity said" yes mommy ill make you proud" in the great hall, ada said" I know you all have heard that the new student is miss hard brooms daughter and it is true and it is also true mis hardbroom is sick so her replacement for now will be serenity joyette hecatetia hardbroom", ethel said" her! She is an idiotic ten-year-old girl! Who!", ethel was?
Interrupted by serenity's magic, and serenity said" enough! Miss hallow I know everything there is to know about potions and I am a prodigy at magic I might be young but I am wise and you will sever 16 months of detention and write me an apology essay and a birthday card because today is my birthday and I wont let you ruin it and have the essay turned in by 3 days' time or else", ethel looks at her, ada had a spell going in her eyes so Hecate could see what she could see and, Hecate laid in bed and smiled and said to herself" that's my girl I'm so proud of you" ada took serenity to her mothers room and she laid in bed asleep and ada sighed closing the door.
