Harry returns to Privet Drive for the first time in 20 years, takes place a few weeks before "19 years later."

August 3rd 2017. Harry walked down the path to knock on the door of Number 4, Privet Drive. He hadn't been there in 20 years. Just before he knocked on the door he turned to Ginny and said

"Do we really want to do this?" before knocking on the door.

Thirty seconds later the door was opened by a big fat bearded man in early middle age.

"Hello Harry"

"Hello there Big D"

The two cousins shook hands before Dudley said "Welcome cousin, won't you all come on in."

The Potters followed Dudley into the house where they met a tall skinny lady who was holding a baby.

"Patricia, this is my cousin Harry, Harry Potter. Harry, this is my wife Patricia and our newborn son Vernon Dudley Dursley."

Harry said "Hello, pleased to meet you, congratulations on your new baby. This is my wife Ginny and our children James, Albus and Lily."

Patricia said "welcome, won't you all sit down."

"We were coming into London to get school things, Albus is off to Hogwarts to join his brother James next month. After we heard your good news we asked if we can come and visit. How long have you been back at Privet Drive? I thought that you lived in London?"

"After my Dad died my mother was all alone in the house, we were thinking of starting a family so we decided to move back to look after my mother and have a babysitter ready and waiting. Unfortunately mother has been in the nursing home for the last 2 years, we go and see her every few weeks, we took baby Vernon but she doesn't remember us very well these days. What are you doing these days, are you still in the civil service?"

"Yes, I suppose you could say that."

"How about you Ginny, what do you do?"

"I work as a sports writer when I am not looking after these three."

"I used to be boxer at school, now I help out at the local boxing club when I am not trying to sell drills. Would you like a cup of tea?"

After a cup of tea and more awkward small talk Harry said

"Thanks for having us Dudley, we need to get into London for our shopping. Congratulations again on the baby."

"No problem, keep in touch and don't be a stranger when you are round here next."
