Aurasoul: Hello everyone now this will be a well story of short stories.

Misaki: On what dare I ask?

Aurasoul: On how everyone got to their situations of course! So that's why this will be a somewhat long one.

Misaki's Beginning

"Go and hurry!"

"Mom wait!"

But she was pushed away dropping a card before falling losing conscious.

Yuya and Yuzu were walking home together right after school. "Thanks for coming over to help me with my homework Yuzu." He smiled.

"It's no problem Yuya after all you always need help in math." She giggled.

"It's not my fault, it's so hard!" He whined.

She only giggled and just when Yuya was about to speak there was a sudden light brightly shining making them gasp as it died down in an alley. "What was that?" Yuzu questioned stunned.

Yuya walked to the alley where the light came from and gasped to see a girl on the floor with silver hair, teal bangs, pale skin, and wearing a black cloak looking to be injured and unconscious. Yuzu walked over to Yuya and gasped seeing the girl and the two ran to her both kneeling to see she had on a broken duel disk, a rose pendant, and a red scarf tied on her upper left arm. "Is she?" Yuzu began.

"She is breathing." Yuya frowned. "Let's take her to my house mom can call a doctor."

Yuzu nodded and the two picked the girl up and hurried to the Sakaki house.

Incredible Singer you were amazing.

Wow Misaki that was beautiful! You really are amazing Angel.

Misaki groaned before slowly opening her blue-gray eyes to see a ceiling before sitting up with a wince and looked around. "Where?" She began.

Then the door opened making Misaki jump quickly looking to see Yuzu walking in. "Oh thank goodness you're awake." She said relieved.

Misaki blinked feeling herself go nostalgic seeing Yuzu yet no idea why before she frowned. "Who are you?" She questioned wearly.

"Oh my name is Yuzu Hiragii don't worry you can trust me." Yuzu assured gently.

Misaki looked at Yuzu for a moment feeling herself relax and nodded. ""Where am I?" She asked.

"In my friend's house we found you in an alley. What happened to you?" Yuzu asked with a frown.

"What happened…" Misaki began.

Misaki hissed groaning in pain as she clutched her head. "Are you alright?!" Yuzu gasped worried.

"M-My head hurts." Misaki winced.

"Yuzu is everything ok?!"

Misaki looked up and grew wide eyed seeing Yuya walking in the room worried. "She's awake but she has some head pain." Yuzu began, looking at Yuya.

Yuya blinked surprised before looking at Misaki and grew wide eyed confused Yuzu looked and gasped softly. Tears streamed down Misaki's cheeks as she looked at Yuya making him walk to her. "Are you ok?" He asked gently.

Misaki gasped quickly wiping her tears off her cheeks. "I-I'm sorry I-I don't know why I suddenly." She began.

"Hey, hey it's ok really." Yuya said surprised.

Yuya sat next to Misaki rubbing her back and Yuzu sat in front of her. "Do you remember your name?" Yuzu asked gently.

"M-My name…" Misaki spoke softly.

Then she recalled the voices in her dream. "M-Misaki… My name is Misaki." She said.

"That's a great name." Yuya smiled. "I'm Yuya Sakaki and you already met Yuzu."

"Hello." Misaki said with a small nod.

"Oh you had these on you when we found you." Yuya said, reaching the bedside dresser.

He then held out a deck and a star shaped charm Misaki blinked before slowly taking them. "You also had a duel disk but it was broken beyond repair." He frowned.

"I see…" Misaki said softly.

Yuya and Yuzu looked at her before looking at one another worried.

"Does it feel comfortable?"

"Yes thank you."

Misaki looked at her reflection wearing a light blue dress like shirt, white pants, and short light gray boots she touched her pendant fiddling with it after a few days of healing she was able to stand and walk. "Thank you Yoko-san." Misaki said.

"Oh it's no trouble MIsaki and you can stay here as long as you want until you get your memories back." Yoko smiled kindly.

"No I couldn't." Misaki began.

"Mom is she ready?!"

They looked to see Yuya opening the door excitedly Yoko gave a chuckle. "Yes she is but go easy on her she's still recovering." Yoko reminded.

"Don't worry, we'll be fine." He assured, taking Misaki's hand. "Come on Misaki."

"Eh?" Misaki blinked.

Misaki yelped as Yuya pulled her out of the house, making sure not to trip over any of the cats and dogs. "Yuya where are we going?" She questioned confused.

"You'll see it's a surprise." He smiled.

"But what about Yuzu?" She began.

"She's meeting us there." He grinned.

Misaki sweatdropped with a sigh and allowed herself to be dragged by Yuya until reaching a building. "What is this place?" She questioned.

"This is the You Show Duel School." He smiled.

"You Show… Duel School?" She said confused.

"Come on." He smiled, leading her inside.

She followed him inside looking around before he opened another door for them to walk inside and she saw Yuzu and a man talking they looked up seeing the two walk in. "Is this her?!" The man asked excitedly.

"Yup Misaki this is Shuzo Hiragii, Yuzu's dad and the principal/teacher of the You Show Duel School." Yuya smiled.

"And dad this is Misaki the one we told you about." Yuzu said.

"It's great to finally meet you Misaki! Yuzu told me all about you!" Shuzo grinned, shaking Misaki's hand enthusiastically.

"U-Uh nice to meet you too ." Misaki sweatdropped, glancing at Yuya. "And Yuya you still haven't told me what is You Show Duel School."

"You Show is a duel school that teaches you dueling and action dueling." Yuzu explained.

"Action Dueling?" Misaki questioned confused.

"Oh you'll love it Misaki, Yuzu and I are gonna duel and we want you to watch." Yuya grinned excitedly with a thought. Hopefully to get you to smile.

"And don't worry my dad will explain the rules to you if you get confused." Yuzu assured.

"Well alright." Misaki nodded skeptical.

"Alright! Then let's get started!" Shuzo grinned, grabbing Misaki's arm.

Misaki yelped being dragged once more making the two sweatdropped. "Alright action field on!" Shuzo yelled.

Misaki, who had a view by the window, gasped seeing the field change. "Wow." She gasped.

"The duelists meet at the battlefield!" Yuya began.

"Along with their monsters, they'll kick the ground and fly through the sky to move around the field!" Yuzu smiled.

"Witness duelings greatest evolution!" Shuzo yelled, making Misaki jump.

"Action!"

"Duel!"

Misaki watched stunned and awed as Yuya and Yuzu dueled using Action Cards, explained to her by Shuzo, as they moved around the field alongside their monsters. They're all… Smiling both them and their monsters even when they attack and counter one another giving off such effects in their attacks it's… She thought, her eyes shining.

"Odd Eyes Dragon attack!" Yuya yelled.

Misaki gasped seeing Odd Eyes Dragon attack a shudder down her back. It's just amazing! She thought.

The duel was then over with Yuya's win he helped Yuzu up once the field returned to normal. "That was a great duel Yuya." Yuzu smiled.

"Thanks Yuzu let's hope it gets the real win." Yuya began.

"Yuya, Yuzu!"

The two looked up seeing Misaki running to them with the biggest smile they ever seen on her face. "That was just incredible! I have never seen anything like it!" Misaki squealed excitedly.

"So you liked it?" Yuya asked hopefully.

"I loved it!" Misaki grinned.

Yuya and Yuzu smiled happily at this. "In that case why don't you join the school and learn." Yuzu smiled.

"Eh?" Misaki blinked surprised.

"Yeah here in You Show you learn how to duel and how to be an Entertainment Duelist." Yuya explained with a grin.

Misaki looked at them stunned. "You really think I could be a good Entertainment Duelist?" She asked hopefully.

"Anyone can be one so long as you focus on making your audience smile." Yuya smiled.

Misaki grew wide eyed by Yuya's words feeling a nostalgic feeling before she smiled. "Ok then I'll join the You Show Dueling School." She said.

"Yes! A new student!" Shuzo cheered tearfully, hugging Misaki. "Thank you Misaki!"

"H-Hey!" Misaki yelped.

"Ok now we gotta get you a new duel disk since yours broke." Yuya said, as the three walked out of the school.

"You'll need to take good care of it your duel disk is also a multipurpose tool too to make calls, connect to online, and stuff like that." Yuzu explained.

"But I don't have any money to buy one." Misaki frowned.

"Don't worry mom gave me money to buy it." He assured.

"Huh?! Yuya." Misaki began with a frown.

"Mom insisted Misaki it's ok." He told her with a gentle smile.

Misaki pouted crossing her arms. "You better let me pay you back once I get a job." She mumbled.

The two blinked at this before they began to laugh as they walked in a dueling shop Misaki looked around seeing the duel disks on display. "Take your time to pick one." Yuzu told her.

Misaki nodded walking until she saw a dark purple duel disk the color catching her eye she picked it up and put it on and it formed a silver blade. "Found one you like?" Yuzu asked, walking to her.

Misaki looked at the duel disk and nodded. "Yeah I'll get this one." She said.

Misaki was in her room looking through her deck. After getting her duel disk Yuya and Yuzu gave her a tour of the entire city which lasted the whole day and they agreed they'd teach her at You Show tomorrow. Photonheart it can be considered a swarm deck but most have effects upon summoned. She thought. And even their appearance gives off as performers too.

Misaki then noticed black cards much to her confusion. "Huh? These are?" She wondered, checking them. "Xyz? What are-?!"

Misaki felt a searing pain in her head as she cried out from agony.

Flames burned the streets as machine-like monsters destroyed the city screams of fear and terror rang through what looked like Hell.

"Misaki, Misaki! Misaki snap out of it!"

Misaki gasped panting heavily facing Yuya who was clutching her shoulders looking very worried. "Y-Yuya." She choked.

Yuya broke seeing the tearful and frightened expression on her face, making him hug her tightly. "It's ok I got you I'm right here." He assured.

She gasped feeling the nostalgic feeling once more as Yuya held her.

"It's ok Misaki we'll get through this."

Misaki held on Yuya tightly for all his worth shaking as he hugged her.

"So I'm not dueling you two?"

It was the next day and the three were at You Show once again when Misaki asked her question surprised. "No actually a friend of ours volunteered to duel you." Yuzu smiled.

"A friend of yours?" Misaki questioned.

"Yuya, Yuzu! I'm here!"

Misaki looked up surprised to see another male coming into the room. "Gongenzaka thanks again for doing this." Yuya smiled.

"It's no problem Yuya after all I volunteered once you told me about her." Gongenzaka replied, facing Misaki. "You must be her. I'm Noboru Gongenzaka."

"O-Oh! I'm Misaki. It's nice to meet you." Misaki quickly said.

"Gongenzaka is our childhood friend. He attends his father's Duel School but he comes here to visit us." Yuzu explained with a smile. "He even helps us train too."

"I see." Misaki smiled. "Thank you for dueling me Gongenzaka."

"No need for formalities. Come let's begin!" Gongenzaka replied.

"Yes!" Misaki smiled excitedly.

"Chou what an unexpected surprise!"

"Yes it has been a while Shuzo."

Shuzo walked with a woman with short blackish blue hair, frosty blue eyes, wearing a dark purple and black dress that reached her knees, a black leather jacket, black buckled boots, and a purple butterfly barrett. "So why the sudden visit?" Shuzo asked curiously, as they walked.

"Oh I just have a good feeling today." She chuckled.

"Cryptic as ever." He sweatdropped, but smiled. "But lucky for you you'll get to watch the duel of our newest student!"

"Oh you received a new student?" She asked.

"Yup! Yuya and Yuzu found her and she really enjoys Action Duels." He grinned.

"Hmm she must be promising." Chou smiled.

"Well why not see for yourself." He smiled.

The two walked to the window screen viewing the field to witness Misaki flip before landing on the ground with a relieved look on her face. "That's her?" Chou asked.

"Yeah her name is Misaki." He nodded.

"Well she's got a good look in her eyes." Chou smiled thoughtfully.

Misaki panted before dusting herself and looked at Gongenzaka and his monster Big Benkei. He sure is tough and without even needing an Action Card either. She thought, looking at her hand. I don't have a monster in my deck that can stand up to Big Benkei's defense power..!

She gasped looking at her duel disk. But wait there's those cards in my Extra Deck those Xyz cards. She thought, but frowned. But I don't know how to summon them!

Build the Overlay Network…
Misaki gasped by the sudden voice that rang in her mind, a memory echoing.

Build the Overlay Network…

"The Overlay Network..?" Misaki spoke stunned, before looking at her hand. I only have one monster in my hand which means this draw is my last chance!

"What are you waiting for, Misaki?! Come at me with everything you got!" Gongenzaka yelled.

"Right!" Misaki nodded, hand on her deck. "My turn, draw!"

She drew her card looking at it and grinned. "Yes! My stage is set!" She smiled. "I Normal Summon Photonheart Swordsman!"

A man with gray hair and dark blue eyes slashed out to the field wearing white armor and wielding a photon sword.

"And when I Summon a Photonheart monster I can Special Summon Photonheart Fan Dancer!" Misaki grinned, as a beautiful silver haired and pale blue eyed woman appeared on the field wearing white arabic dancer clothes and holding two photon fans.

"Those two don't have enough power to overcome Big Benkei's defense." Gongenzaka frowned.

"True Swordsman and Fan Dancer have small attack power compared to Big Benkei's 3500 Def." Misaki nodded, before grinning. "But that's why they will help me bring a new star on stage!"

"Oh ho." Chou remarked, interested.

"That's the spirit Misaki!" Shuzo cheered.

"Now I Overlay my level 4 Swordsman and Fan Dancer!" Misaki yelled.

"What?!" Gongenzaka yelled.

"Overlay?!" Yuya gaped.

"But then that means!" Yuzu gasped.

"With these two monsters I build the Overlay Network!" Misaki yelled, as her two monsters became yellow mist twirling around her and went into the Overlay Network. "The angelic dragon shall come to the stage as the guardian of courage! Xyz Summon! Fly high Rank 4, Photonheart Dragon Angel, Shiva!"

They all gasped as the Xyz monster appeared on the field flying elegantly it was a young woman with long black hair, piercing blue dragon like eyes, pale skin that highlighted the dragon scales on her cheeks, wearing a photon blue and silver form fitting high collar high low dragon scale dress, silver boots, her hands dragon claw like glowing in photon, two white angel wings on her left, and two photon blue dragon wings on her right.

"Xyz Summon…" Gongenzaka spoke stunned.

"Wow! To think Misaki could Xyz Summon!" Shuzo replied excitedly.

Chou watched stunned looking at Misaki who had a bright grin making Chou smile. "Looks like I was right to come here today." She remarked. "Shuzo after this duel I want to talk with Misaki."

"Eh? Uh sure." Shuzo blinked surprised.

"Chou smiled as she watched the duel onward.

"Misaki, that was amazing!"

Misaki panted after her duel with Gongenzaka with a win looking up to see Yuya and Yuzu rushing to her and Gongenzaka as the field went back to normal. "I had no idea you could Xyz Summon only students from LDS can!" Yuya grinned.

"And your monster was just stunning!" Yuzu added happily.

"You were excellent Misaki." Gongenzaka smiled.

"You're a natural Entertainment Duelist." Yuya smiled.

"You really think so?!" Misaki asked excitedly.

"I believe so."

They looked up to see Chou and Shuzo walking to them, Yuya and Yuzu gasped. "Chou Fujaku!" Yuzu gasped.

"Eh? Who is she?" Misaki asked, confused.

"She used to be a top Entertainment Duelists before she retired to manage other Entertainment Duelists, usually beginners." Yuzu explained.

"You're Misaki, yes? It's a pleasure to meet you. Your duel was incredible." Chou smiled, putting out her hand.

"N-Nice to meet you and thank you." Misaki smiled sheepishly, shaking Chou's hand.

"You definitely show promise and talent but you lack experience." Chou replied, yet smiled. "But like an uncut diamond it becomes magnificent once it's cut and polished meaning with practice you can no doubt go pro."

"Coming from you that means a lot." Misaki spoke shyly.

"I'm not done." Chou chuckled. "Quite frankly I wish to help you get there if you're willing, I'd like to be your manager."

"E-EHH?!" They gaped shocked.

"I'll help you enter duels to spread your name and help you in your practice. It will be a lot of work and I don't go easy on my clients." Chou smirked.

"Take it Misaki! Having Chou as your manager is a big chance!" Yuzu said insistent.

"She's right you should." Gongenzaka nodded.

Misaki looked at them then at Yuya. "Yuya what do you think?" She asked.

He looked up surprised before giving a smile and held up his pendant much to her surprise as it swung. "Possibilities and chances come and go like the swinging of a pendulum so you should take that chance when it swings to you." He told her.

"Swing like a pendulum…" Misaki whispered.

She watched the pendulum swing feeling a tug to her chest before she smiled softly. "Yeah you're right." She said, facing Chou. "Alright Chou I'll take you on your offer."

"Glad to hear it." Chou smiled, as the others cheered.

Misaki was sitting twitching nervously after a whole month Chou finally signed Misaki in an exhibition duel and she was nervous. "Have to relax, no need to worry." She sighed.

"Misaki."

Misaki looked up surprised to see Yuya and Yuzu smiling at her. "What are you two doing here?" She asked.

"We wanted to wish you good luck." Yuya smiled.

"And give you good luck charms." Yuzu added.

"Charms?" Misaki blinked.

They smiled and held out their hands. In Yuzu's was a pretty red and green hair ribbon and in Yuya's, a pendulum earring Misaki looked at them stunned. "Let's put them on you." Yuzu smiled.

Misaki wordlessly nodded letting Yuzu go behind her to tie the ribbon in her hair while Yuya went to her side to put on the earring. "There, now you're set." Yuzu smiled.

Misaki touched the earring while Yuya kneeled in front of her gently holding her hand. "Misaki you'll do great out there you trained so much and you're not alone." He told her with a gentle smile. "So go out there and smile."

Misaki grew wide eyed before she smiled holding Yuya's hand. "Yuya, Yuzu thank you." She said.

The two smiled happily as Misaki stood up and patted her cheeks looking ready. "Well I'm going." She smiled.

"Do your best Misaki." Yuzu cheered.

"And make the audience smile sis." Yuya grinned.

Misaki grinned back before running off to the stage hearing the announcer.

"And may we present an Entertainment Duelist in the making Misaki Sakaki!"
