Hayan was walking through the alley. She and Ash had agreed on an alliance. Hayan's heart was beating abnormally fast.
"Jinha- something doesn't feel right"
Hayan saw memories rush through her. A young boy, a new brother. Images flashed in and out. Lastly she saw him. She saw her only true friend as a child. She saw Yohan. Yohan was the one called God. Then she blacked out.
Ash (Jinha) looked down in shock. She knelt down to pick up hayan. Ash noticed her heart, she heard it beating. She saw it illuminated through Hayans shirt. She also noticed hayan's hand was covering her stomach.
"How strange" she said to herself, " Vampires usually cover their most vulnerable spot when unconscious.
Before she could investigate further, she heard shuffling steps. She ran to the bike Hayan had used to get here and rode to the detective's house.
Jinha was running to the door carrying Hayan. Haeun heard Jinha call for help. She walked towards the door and opened it to see Jinha breathing heavily. Her eyes wandered to Jinha's hands to see hayan unconscious in her arms.
"Oh my goodness! What happened to her!"
"She just fainted! Her heart is beating quite fast, I think we should lie her down!"
Quickly jinha placed down Hayan and set up a makeshift bed out of the couches. She laid her down.
"Haeun… do you think you could move her arm?"
"I'll try"
Haeun reached down to pull Hayan's arm off her abdomen.
Hayan's arm tensed up, refusing to move.
"She- she won't let me" Haeun struggled
"We will have to wait until she wakes"
"Mmmphhh"
"What was that jinha?"
"I thought that was you haeun?"
They looked down to see Hayan's blue eyes fluttering open. She saw her two allies sitting above her.
"Wait for what-" hayan said feebly.
Jinha looked down at Hayan's arm. Hayan followed her gaze. Hayan saw her arm clutching her abdomen tightly. She wasn't even aware of it
"Ohhh. My arm?"
"Could you move it?"
Hayan lifted her arm to reveal a faint outline of something in her abdomen. Could it be- No it couldn't. Haeun gasped
"Is that a child!?"
Hayan fainted again.
Jinha panicked. She had no idea what happened to a pregnant vampire. A pure blood at that.
Hayan was still holding her stomach. She kept mumbling.
"Euntae- oh Euntae- best Haeun doesn't hear us"
Jinha looked up at Haeun who was sitting waiting for her best friend to get up. She has a mix of green on her face.
"Uh- I'm going to go to the restroom now- and pretend I didn't hear how the baby was conceived" Haeun stuttered, shaking her head and closing her eyes, trying to get the image out of her head.
"Oh my- " jinha said.
Hayan started to come around again after a few minutes. She woke up to a very smug Jinha and an extremely red Haeun.
"What happened- was it all a dream"
Hayan lifted up her arm and groaned. She saw the outline of the child.
"Now it could be worse Hayan." Haeun said.
"How could this be worse-"
Haeun cringed, " if you were me and you heard the entire conversation you a-and my brother had whilst conceiving the child"
Hayan turned red of embarrassment.
"Oh my- Haeun you weren't meant to- did anyone else-" Hayan started.
"Oh I heard the whole thing," Jinha said smiling, "I've shipped you two from the start"
"Arghhhhhhhhh I couldn't control myself. What would Father Micheal say?" Hayan started and then started mumbling, "I mean he did have that toned, cut body, and his strong hard abs, and his-"
Haeun looked at Hayan in horror. " God Hayan!" She screamed, "We are right here!"
"I SAID THAT OUT LOUD" Hayan screamed. She shot up, and walked as fast as she could to the bathroom.
The problem was she could barely walk, and she quickly felt dizzy. She started falling again. Haeun jumped and took Hayan's arm before she could fall. Hayan used Haeun as support as she clutched her stomach.
"Thank you Haeun," Hayan barely managed to get out before she gestured to the bathroom. Her cheeks puffed up and she kept pointing at the bathroom. Haeun let her into the bathroom, Jinha closely following. Hayan knelt down to the toilet and emptied all the blood she had drunk the past day into it.
Haeun looked in disgust while pulling back Hayan's white hair. Jinha crouched down and looked at the pureblood's eyes.There was nothing but fear in them.
Hayan made eye contact with Jinha for a split second before her stomach forced her to focus on throwing up.
Haeun looked away. She heard her friend retching. Then, all of the sudden, the front door opened.
" Hello? Anyone home" said the unmistakable voice of her brother. Haeun gave one last glance at her poor friend. There was an unmistakable shade of pink on her face, no doubt because of what she said out loud.
Haeun walked towards her brother to greet him.
"Oh h-hi Euntae!" she stuttered, remembering what Hayan had said. She wasn't able to get that image out of her head.
As Haeun was making small talk with Euntae, Hayan and Jinha were waiting in the bathroom. Hayan felt her stomach jolt when she heard Euntae enter. How could she face him.
"Hayan. You need to do it now." Jinha said, as if she read Hayan's mind.
"Alright but could you guys come with me?" Hayan asked, making eye contact with Jinha.
Jinha looked at Hayan's tear filled eyes, "Ok-"
"But, I need you guys to hide, I just need to know you're in the room."
Jinha agreed to the strange requirement. Hayan called Haeun over and hid the two girls in the closet.
"Thank you guys! So much"
The two friends smiled at Hayan, and then closed the door.
Hayan fidgeted with her fingers. She was worried about how Euntae would react. Somehow, being pregnant gave her back the ability of switching to her human form. She decided to switch to her human form, as you still saw the outline of the child when she was in her vampire form.
She gathered up her courage and called Euntae to come to the room.
Euntae looked around the room. He saw himself and Hayan alone.
"Now my beautiful Hayan, are you trying to recreate last night," he winked.
Hayan turned a deep shade of red, knowing that Euntae's sister was in the closet.
"What- uh- no" She stuttered.
"Oh?" Euntae said in reply, slightly disappointed.
There was a second of silence. Euntae had noticed Hayan fidgeting.
"Hayan, what's wrong? And why are you in your human form, I thought you couldn't switch back,"
Tears welled in Hayan's eyes. All she felt was emptiness. She could feel her tears falling down her cheek, her heart beating quickly. She began hyperventilating. Then she felt warmth. An overwhelming warmth. She felt Euntae's arms around her, his strong muscular arms. With him she would be safe.
When Euntae saw Hayan's teary eyes something pierced together in his heart. He really couldn't imagine life without her. Her hair turned that bright white that he knew to be her true color. Her brown eyes turned into her bright blue, her usually normal abdomen was illuminated. He put two and two together and embraced Hayan in a hug. A special hug. One where she would know there was no reason not to tell him. One that let her know he was always there for her.
"H-hayan are you-" Euntae started.
Hayan shushed him and nodded, her eyes closed, wanting to stay like this forever.
Euntae tightened his grasp. Hayan was carrying a child. His child. Their child.
He leaned to give her a kiss. Hayan accepted it. They had lost track of time, still kissing. Hayan wanted it to stay like this. It was a kiss of comfort.
Meanwhile, Jinha and Haeun were in the closet.
Haeun turned to jinha and whispered "I've been here too long, let's get out of here".
Haeun opened the door to see Hayan laying on the bed with Euntae kissing her.
"OH MY GOD HAYAN! HAVE YOU NO SHAME! YOU TOLD US IT WOULD BE QUICK-"
The couple opened their eyes to a shocked Jinha and an infuriated Haeun.
"Ah- Wait Haeun!" Hayan yelled as she struggled to move. Euntae noticed the struggle and said
"I'll talk to her".
This left Jinha and Hayan together.
"I- uh jinha he was comforting me that's all-" Hayan started.
"I'm sure he was" Jinha chuckled as she led Hayan to the bed.
"Im serious!" Hayan complained not wanting anyone to get the wrong idea.
"Yes, I know! Know please rest here, and don't get out of bed. A normal baby is energy sapping enough, but a vampire baby- that's a different story."
"But what about the vampires. What about Yohan?"
"Yohan?"
"I saw it, Jinha. He's the one they call God."
"You could wait a few days, we will discuss this tomorrow."
"I-" Hayan started until she felt another nausea spell upon her, " I guess you're right" and then she stumbled over to the restroom.
Euntae left Hayan and jinha together. He chased after his sister.
"Haeun wait! Please!"
Haeun stopped in her tracks. What was she doing, she thought. Her best friend and her brother are in need of support. "I'm sorry Euntae. It was just a bit overwhelming."
"No, i'm sorry. If I was in your position I would be mad too. But we need to go back. We can't leave Hayan alone like this." Euntae said, trying to not imagine how much pain Hayan might be in.
"I suppose you are right." Haeun said. They started walking back until she noticed a small white box on the floor. She knelt down and picked it up.
"Euntae! Is this w-what I think it is?" Haeun struggled to ask. She looked at her brother who was a deep shade of pink. Her jaw opened, and she went to open the box. A beautiful ring, with a blue gem in the center. Engraved on the top. Let's make these months last.
"Euntae- you can't be serious!" Haeun started.
"Haeun,I-i only have 5 more months. Then I'm gone. I want them to last."
Haeun's eyes teared up as she hugged her brother. She gave him back the ring box.
"Alright, let's go get me a sister in law," she smiled, feeling how close Euntae's last days were.
Euntae and Haeun entered the room to find a vomiting Hayan and a panicking Jinha.
"One second Hayan, I know I put the book in here somewhere," Jinha screamed as she was shuffling through the various things in her bag.
Hayan had finished emptying her stomach. She wiped the blood of her mouth. Slowly she got up and gave Haeun a hug.
"I-im so sorry Haeun'' She cried into Haeun's shoulder. Haeun gave her friend a big hug.
"It's ok Hayan, I might as well get used to it" Haeun smiled.
Hayan looked at her in confusion. After 20 seconds they parted and Hayan turned around to see Euntae kneeling down.
"H-hayan will you marry me!"
Hayan's eyes widened. Though she had only been with Euntae for 6 months, they had lived together, and she needed to trust him. Marriage was the best way. She also felt a burning love for him and their child.
"Yes! I will!" Hayan decided as she went to give her new fiance a hug, "But what about your lifespan, the baby will grow up without you!"
"There's nothing we can do!"
All of the sudden Jinha perked up.
"There is something you can do!" She said as she held up a book.
"You two can be the two strongest vampires, by marrying the vampire way."
"Let's do it now!" Hayan said.
"The thing is, once this is done, you can't break promises to each other."
"That shouldn't be a problem" The couple said together.
"All right. Hayan bite your arm slightly, and Euntae you do the same." The two bit their arms.
"Now once this is done, the two of you will be equally powerful, but will also be the most powerful vampires seeing as Hayan is the only true pureblood left. Now each of you take a mouthful of each other's blood, and then kiss, mixing each other's blood and swallowing it."
The two did so. With Haeun watching in shock, they started glowing. Hayan glows extremely bright, especially near her stomach. Then they floated downward, both unconscious.
The two other girls looked in shock as the bright red hair of Euntae had turned a chill white like his wifes. Then the two wake up.
"Mmph what happened" Hayan mumbled as she turned to Euntae, who had put his hands through his new white hair. She gasped. "Wait- you look like a pureblood"
Euntae looked at his wife, and slipped the ring on her finger, he saw that the child's glow in her stomach was still there. He put his hands on her abdomen and said, " I promise never to leave this family, or abuse my new power".
Haeun gave Hayan a hug and screamed about how they were sisters now. Jinha looked so happy that she shipped them from the start and married the two. "He also has your lifespan, which is indefinite."
The two hugged Jinha while Jihna taunted Haeun saying that she was going to be the favorite aunt.
It had been 14 days since then. Hayan looked like she was 3 months pregnant, even though she and Euntae agreed that the child was conceived 1 months ago. There was definitely a bump, even though the child was no longer illuminated it was obvious that Hayan was carrying a child. Her hand rested on her slightly inflated stomach as she drank some ox blood. She had to drink a lot more, now that she was carrying another little vampire.
Haeun and Jinha had gone on a 10 day house hunting trip the day after Euntae and Hayan got married. They said it was to give the newlyweds some alone time.
The door rang while Euntae was taking a shower. Hayan put her human form and opened the door to see Haeun and Jinha. They looked at Hayan. Hayan hadn't realized it but she became darker, and her eyes were a dark green now. It also didn't help that she looked 3 months pregnant, while her friends last saw her as someone who barely looked pregnant.
"Ah- I think we got the wrong house" Haeun started as Jinha and her had started to walk away.
"Wait! Haeun it 's me Hayan!" Hayan started.
The two girls turned around, their mouths wide open.
"H-hayan? What happened?"
"Pregnancy changes I guess!" She said and welcomed them in.
The three girls sat in the sitting room.
Hayan transformed into her true form. Somehow, her stomach seemed even more outlined.
She breathed heavily and sunk into the couch.
"Welcome back guys!" She said struggling between breaths.
"Hayan are you alright" Haeun started.
"I-im fine, I just haven't had blood for 2 hours. Jinha can you give me the ox blood in the fridge."
"Of course Hayan," Jinha said, getting up and getting a cup from the cabinet. As she poured the blood in the cup she started by saying " I found you a book on vampire pregnancy. It explains your stomach" She smiled now handing Hayan the cup.
Hayan quickly drank the cup, feeling more energized she asked Jinha "Oh? How so?"
Jinha sat down and opened the book. " It says that because vampires are so much faster than an average organism, the child develops 2 times faster for them. So you'll be giving birth in 5 months. 4 months now that the first has passed."
Hayan looked shocked. She ran to the kitchen and chugged any remaining ox blood. She put her jacket on, which tightly fit her, seeing as her breasts and stomach had become inflated, yet it hid the pregnancy. She grabbed Jinha and Haeun with a strength that let them know she was panicking. She led them to the garage. She ran to her room and grabbed Euntae's clothes. She barged into the bathroom.
"We are leaving, get dressed!"
Euntae screamed, obviously frightened by the scariness of his wife. Once he was dressed she led him to the garage. Now the four of them were in the garage.
Hayan grabbed the spare blood and drank it up. She was losing energy quite fast.
"Hayan- what is this about." Jinha started to say.
"My baby will not be born in this world, where there is this idea of god. Jinha, you will come with me as an assistant detective. Euntae will come with me as well. Haeun seeing as you're not a vampire, you'll need to stay here, all right?"
Out of fear of this pregnant woman they all nodded.
"Good, next stop, my home town. He will be expecting me there, as Yohan."
On the way to the destination, they had stopped multiple times so hayan had a lot of blood. Once they were fighting she would need as much power as she could get. It had been 1 week since they left. Her stomach had grown to the point where there was now an outline on her thin jacket, but it wasn't visible if you weren't focusing on it.
They had finally made it to their destination.
"Euntae, i'll have to take off my ring, he can't be suspicious." Hayan said as she took her ring off and gave it to Euntae.
Jinha then added, "He doesn't realize that you have your memories, you're much more powerful now. He can read minds. You can disguise your mind that you don't remember anything now. Even if he can't defeat the power of you, seeing as his blood came from your bloodline, you are more powerful than him."
Hayan smiled, and disguised her memories. She took another swig of ox blood. She had a whole backpack full, which shouldn't be suspicious seeing as she was on a trip.
"All right Detectives, I'll be on my way now!"
She walked away towards an old lady. Then she saw him. She saw Yohan.
She walked towards him.
"Hello! Do you remember me!"
Yohan smiled at her. "I-is that you h-hayan." I never thought I would see you again!"
Yohan gave her a hug. Scanning her mind. He saw nothing but her forgotten memories. Thankfully jinha had warned Hayan that he would do this. The moment she felt yohan enter her mind he ripped through his chest, her strength overpowering in thick skin. She ripped out his heart.
"I know Yohan. I have known."
Yohan looked at her in shock. His eyes darted around, knowing he had a mere few minutes to live. He saw the outline. He pulled off her jacket as he fell. Under her jacket there was a very visible inflation of her stomach. She looked 4 months pregnant.
"Y-you're pregnant? H-how."
"I think you know very well how. And you know that being pregnant makes a vampire much, much stronger."
He looked at her in shock and made an attempt to grab her stomach. She quickly backed away. Euntae had seen this from a distance. He ran over. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU TRY TO DO TO MY WIFE" He screamed, his hair turning white.
Yohan had looked even more shocked. "H-hayan you always were my first love, I wanted to consume your heart so you would always be part of me, but you ripped out the part of me that could feel." He then died. In that moment.
Hayan started feeling faint. She reached for her backpack, but it was 30 feet away. Euntae had noticed this and ran to get her a bottle of ox blood. She drank 17 bottles of blood. She had looked around her. She was so powerful, she could feel the power inside of her overflowing. She hypnotized all the remaining vampires that had committed such sins, and the remaining angels of death, and made them rip their hearts out.
Then she fainted.
Hayan woke up in a hospital room. She was told she was unconscious for 3 weeks. She was now 2 months pregnant. There was an IV that had been feeding her blood. She was in a human hospital. She called the nurse ove.
"Excuse me, mam but I think i'm in the wrong place?"
"No, you are in the Vampire recovery section of the hospital"
"You guys take vampires now?"
"Ever since the detectives from all over had said what was truly happening, we've learned to accept you vampires as our protectors. Especially your family."
"Family- wait? Where's my husband! Where's my baby?"
"Your husband hasn't been allowed here. He kept claiming you were carrying a child."
"I was!" Hayan cried. She had realized she was in a new form. This looked like her original form.
"Where's your stomach?"
Hayan switched to her vampire form. There it was. Her stomach, which was even bigger and much more defined.
The nurse gasped. "Mam I am so incredibly sorry! Your husband will be here shortly."
Euntae ran in the room, holding Hayan's ring. There were tears in his eyes. "I promised I would always be with you. Here is your ring my babies"
Hayan smiled, "Babies? I'm sure this is only one baby thank you very much" She said looking up at her beautiful husband.
Euntae went to kiss her, "You're my baby, Hayan".
All of the sudden they were interrupted by someone clearing their throat.
"Are you too busy for us Hayan?" Haeun laughed. Hayan went up to hug her, but did not have the strength to get up.
Jinha smiled and said" If they didn't realize you were pregnant, you've definitely been lacking blood!" Then she walked up to Hayan and gave her a bag of ox blood. Hayan drank it hungrily.
She needed more. "Do you happen to have-" "More?" Jinha finished Hayan's sentence. You've been mal- nourished for weeks, I brought you 8 bags."
Hayan looked at jinha like she was a saint as she hungrily devoured the blood. The color quickly flushed back into her face.
She got up and gave Haeun and Jinha a proper hug. They took Hayan home.
By the time they got home, Hayan was exhausted. She had thought about her brother and sister. She promised to take them.
"Hayan?" Euntae said, as he nudged hayan.
"Hmm?" she said tiredly.
"How do you feel about Yunsu and Yerim living with us?"
Hayan looked at Euntae. She looked at his eyes. They were serious and loving. She nodded yes.
"Good! Because i already told them they could stay" he chuckled.
"But how will we afford - wait no 3- wait I haven't even told them i'm pregnant- or that i'm married." Hayan wailed.
"I'm sure they will understand," Euntae said, placing his arms around Hayan, lifting his hands to rest on her inflated stomach, "After people heard your struggles, they wanted to donate to you, for the world a better place, while pregnant at that. We got awards all over the world, that amount to about 1,125,415,000,000 won ( 1 billion USD)."
Hayan looked at her husband in shock. She took out her phone and looked at her bank account. He was right. So many people had donated to her. She sobbed out of happiness and changed into her old clothes- not realizing how revealing they were.
"I'm going to get them right now. You set up their room."
"Hayan, you're forgetting something."
"Hmm?"
"You are pregnant"
Hayan looked at her clothes. Her belly was bulging out of her shirt. She blushed and changed into one of Euntae's sweatshirts.
"Better?" she asked, the bump wasn't too visible.
"I mean I guess, you don't wanna walk in there so pregnant- you know i'll come to. As they're new dad."
"Wait- that means i'll be their mom?"
"Yes, but you can treat them like siblings" He laughed.
After driving over to the orphanage Hayan was drained. Her skin was so pale. Euntae passed her the ox blood.
"Drink up babies."
Hayan gave him a dark look. Some color flushed back into her face.
"Lets go, I haven't seen them in a while."
They walked in to be greeted by the other kids and the caretaker who admired her ring. "My Hayan, how proud your father would be. Married. To a detective at that"
Hayan blushed slightly "Not so loud, Yerim and Yunsu don't know yet! I would also like to ask permission to adopt them. We have money to support three children lavishly."
"Well of course you can take Yerim and Yunsu, however a third child might be hard to adopt."
Hayan couldn't contain her smile.
"Unless- Hayan is this real!?" The caretaker said looking at the slight bump that couldn't be hidden completely.
Hayan and Euntae pulled the caretaker aside. Then Hayan lifted up her shirt to reveal the whole stomach, which matched someone who was a 6 month pregnant person.
"It's very real, trust me"
The caretaker looked at the girl she had known since Father Micheal took her in. The small innocent girl before her. She was now a known savior of the people, but that much could be understood. That small ten year old was now expecting a child. Of her own, with a husband.
She gave Hayan a hug. "Hayan, I couldn't be happier for you,"she said wiping her tears "Let's get the other two and introduce them to their family.
The caretaker led them to the children's room. Both of the occupants were sleeping soundly.
"I'll give you fou-i mean five alone time" The caretaker smiled.
Hayan walked over to the kids bed. She started speaking softly "Yerim, Yunsu it's me, Hayan!"
The two kids started to stir.
They saw Hayan's white hair and her bright blue eyes looking at them filled with excitement.
"Hayan!" Yunsu yelled.
Yerim gave Hayan a hug. Thankfully, Hayan was kneeling down so she only hugged her upper body, and didn't see or feel her belly.
"Guys, I have so much to tell you, but first, how would you feel living with us?"
Yerim gasped and the two kids nodded vigorously.
"Yes yes yes yes!" They screamed.
Yunsu then said, "Us? With who else-" He started until Yerim screamed.
"Look at her hand! She has a ring!"
The two looked at Hayan, who was blushing immensely.
"I mean she did tell you she had a lot to say" Euntae said, coming into the view of the children.
"THE DETECTIVE? Hayan! We love him, we give you permission to keep him."
"I'm glad you do because we kind of did this irreversible marriage process."
"That's so much news Hayan! Next you're gonna tell us you got 1,000,000,000,000 won!"
Hayan blushed even more. Euntae then said, " Nope, we got 1,125,415,000,000 won!"
"Hayan- how?"
"I may have ended the whole bad vampire thing-"
"Hayan we are so proud of you!" They both hugged her.
"Whoa now don't squish me too hard"
Yunsu smiled and Yerim laughed. "Sorry Mom!"
"Shshshshs don't call me that!" Hayan blushed, "You can still call me Hayan."
"We were going to anyway Haya .Mom is reserved for your babies!"
"My babies!?"
"In the future duh."
"Yeah you need to give us at least one more person to play with at some point."
Hayan chuckled. She thought she had been caught.
"OH Euntae sweetie pass me some blood please."
"Of course baby!"
Hayan quickly drank the blood.
"Alright guys let's go" Hayan said now energized. She got back up and unconsciously put one hand on her stomach. Euntae noticed, and walked between the kids and Hayan.
They were walking towards the car. Hayan had one hand supporting her back and another on her stomach. Euntae opened the door for her, and then opened the door for the kids.
They started the ride with small talk between the four of them. Then Euntae and the kids started talking about some more in depth conversation.
Meanwhile, Hayan was panicking. Something moved inside her. Was something wrong? She was breathing heavily. Out of nowhere she felt a sharp thud on her stomach. She breathed in quite quickly. This caught the attention of Euntae and the kids.
Euntae pulled over.
"Are you alright Hayan?"
"I think the-" Hayan started. She realized the kids were right there. "Brakes might be loose" she smiled leading Euntae outside.
"Hayan what really happened?"
"I- I think the baby kicked!"
"Really!"
"Yeah feel! She said" making it so that you couldn't see her and euntae feeling the baby kick.
Yerim and Yunsu watched from the car.
"Yerim isn't Hayan walking funny?"
"Yeah she's acting like she's carrying all the weight in the world." Yerim responded, gesturing to Hayan's hand supporting her back.
All of the sudden Hayan turned around and waved at the kids. She walked back to the car and opened the door. She gestured for the kids to come out.
"Guys I want to show you something," she said.
She pulled off the sweatshirt she was wearing revealing her bulging stomach. Her undershirt couldn't cover it.
Yerim gasped
"YOUR PREGNANT?"
Yunsu gave Hayan a hug, followed by Yerim.
"How long until the baby comes?"
"Oh about a month-"
" A MONTH- YOU HAVEN'T EVEN KNOWN THE DETECTIVE FOR A YEAR. IT SHOULD TAKE 9 MONTHS FOR A BABY TO DEVELOP"
"Guys-" Hayan chucked " it takes 5 months for vampires"
"Oh well . Then I guess father Michael won't be too angry"
"Why would he be angry?"
"Because you haven't been married for even 2 months"
Hayan turned a very very deep red and allowed her to be engulfed in the hug. Then they headed home.
It was two days since the kids were introduced into their home. They had to get used to the fact that there was a fridge just for blood. And of course their sister's newfound tiredness.
Hayan was in the kitchen, cooking some egg and pork for the kids even though she couldn't eat it.
Near her, sitting at the table, Euntae was reading a book on how to not faint when a baby comes. He noticed Yerim and Yunsu enter.
"Hey kids! Are we ready to go shopping today!"
Yerim smiled and said "Wait, we can go shopping".
Hayan turned around and nodded.
"But before we go shopping..." Hayan turned around with two plates of food, "We need to eat."
She put two other plates of raw meat for herself and Euntae.
"Hayan, that's a lot of meat even for you," Yerim said with a mouthful of pork. It was a lot of meat, it was actually about the amount a small pig would produce.
"What im hungry" She said, devouring the food as if she had been starved for days.
Euntae laughed when she finished and said "You want more?" as a joke.
Hayan looked at his food and then at him with hopeful eyes and then nodded, with a pout.
"Hahahahahahah" Yerim laughed uncontrollably, "give her some more I guess, she is carrying multiple babies"
"Yerim! That's not a funny joke, do you know how much more horrible it would be to give birth to more than one!" Hayan said, obviously imagining the pain.
The three people surrounding Hayan laughed even more. Euntae passed her his meat and they had a small conversation about the names of the baby.
They were at the stores for a few hours. A lot of it was Hayan complaining she was hungry.
They were now on the car ride home. Hayan had one of those hats that you could drink from. It could hold about 10 bottles of blood, which is what it did.
"So, Hayan, do you feel any better?" Euntae asked.
"I.Feel.Tired."
"But Hayan, you promised to introduce us to our new aunts."
"Yeah you said Jinha and Haeun or something"
Hayan smiled and took a swig of blood. She had bought the girls a house, and they decided to live together as roommates because Haeun needed protecting.
"I guess it's not too far," Hayan mumbled, "Maybe they'll even have more food."
Jinha had heard a knock at the door. She opened it to see two little kids fanning an unconscious Hayan and a nervous Euntae at the door.
"Oh my god, come in!"
Euntae nodded and picked Hayan up. He set her down on the couch.
"Do you have some blood?"
"Yeah here." Haeun said walking in with a bag of blood.
Euntae opened Hayan's mouth and poured it in.
Hayan swallowed it and started coughing.
She opened her eyes. She saw a very worried Euntae, Jinha, and Haeun.
"What happened-"
"Apparently the blood in your hat wasn't real blood. Just colored water." Yunsu said, inspecting the red substance.
"Damn those people ripped me off," Hayan said weakly. She hadn't had any blood for at least 7 hours. Euntae passed her the bag which she inhaled.
"Ah, thank you guys." She said now sitting up, " We came to introduce you guys to Yerim and Yunsu, my siblings."
"Aw hi! You can call us Jinha and Haeun or aunties."
"Hi!" Yerim said, giving jinha a hug.
"I like your hair, it 's so unique,"She smiled.
Jinha smiled back and offered the kids some drinks.
"I'd like something too Jinha!" Euntae called, but seeing as he got no response he got up to go get a drink.
This left Haeun and Hayan alone.
"So, hayan how are you really?"
Hayan sighed and let her body be taken over by the couch. She put her head back, "I've been exhausted. I also feel different, I can't fit into anything and I haven't gotten the time to buy new clothes." Hayan then rolled her eyes. "I also may be very hot right now, but i can't take this shirt off."
Haeun looked at her friend with a confused look. "Why can't you take your shirt off."
Hayan looked at her friend. "I only have a bra underneath-"
"Oh thats fine, Jinha would lend you some of her t-shirts, follow me"
Haeun helped Hayan up and led her towards Jinha's room.
"Here is her biggest t-shirt." She handed it to Hayan.
Hayan took off her shirt, which revealed even more of her stomach.
"Wow your stomach isn't the only thing that grew," Haeun said, "Looking at Hayan's inflated breasts.
"Yeah Euntae noticed it right away, he said it's on of his favorite-"
"Ok- t-that's enough about Euntae. And you, reproducing"
Hayan laughed and put the t-shirt on. It fit, but it outlined her inflated stomach much more. This would surprise the kids and jinah. Even though the kids saw she was pregnant, they didn't see how big the bump was. And no matter how much Jinha saw, this was more revealing.
"Better?"
"I don't feel hot anymore, but I am tired, I need a drink, let's go to the kitchen" Hayan said, who did seem really tired after weaseling into that shirt.
Hayan had made it to the kitchen, with the support of Haeun.
"Can i get some blood please!" Hayan said out of breath. She sat down at the table next to Yerim and Yunsu.
"Hayan your belly is so much bigger!"
"Hmm- oh no it's just not covered by a sweatshirt. I'm really tired ugh"
"Here drink," Jinha said, handing Hayan a cup of blood. Hayan quickly finished it.
"Oh my god- Hayan! Your stomach its so big-"
"Hmm? No it's not, it's just the shirt, thanks by the way, I needed your shirt." Hayan yawned.
"Euntae i need more blood!"
Yerim and Yunsu watched as Hayan drank bags after bags of blood. They looked at her stomach. It was indeed growing.
"Hayan! Your stomach is growing!"
"Hayan groggily looked at her abdomen.
"OH MY GOD- I LOOK LIKE IM 8 MONTHS PREGNANT-" Hayan sobbed.
Jinha looked through her book. "Oh- oops"
"O-oops? What do you mean by that"
"Turns out the baby is coming in 3 months not 5."
"SO IM GIVING BIRTH IN THREE WEEKS?"
"Well you could give birth now-"
"D-don't jinx it." Hayan said, obviously worried. "Euntae, w-we haven't even picked out a name or set up its room" Hayan cried.
Yerim and Yunsu looked at their sister. They had never seen her like this. They gave her a hug.
"What about Yeonhee for a girl!" Yerim said.
"And Yikyung for a boy!" Yunsu said.
Hayan smiled, "Those are great names!"
"And Euntae and I could do the room really fast considering how fast vampires can move!" Jinha chipped in.
"Aw thank you guys so much." Hayan cried letting herself get lost in the hug.
Hayan was in bed, it was very obvious she wasn't comfortable. Euntae decided against waking her up.
"Hey guys! Wanna surprise Hayan?" Euntae said as he walked into the kitchen.
The kids were in there smiling.
"Of course we would!"
"Ok well you two need to clean the place up, and i'll cook her the soup Father Micheal made for her."
Yerim smiled at Euntae's thoughtfulness.
"I'm glad she married you." Yunsu said.
Euntae smiled and started setting up the food.
Hayan woke up by herself. She couldn't see Euntae. She looked at the clock. It was already 10:00. She got up, supporting her back. She stretched and changed into a dress, it was the last thing she had that fit her.
There was the smell of Father Micheals soup.
"What are you trying to do now my little baby," she said looking at her stomach, "You miss your grandpa? I do to" Hayan said, her eyes tearing up. She walked into the bathroom and did her morning routine. The smell wouldn't go away even after she washed her face.
"Maybe- you weren't tricking my senses little baby" Hayan said, walking out of the bathroom.
She made her way to the main room to find Euntae, Yerim and Yunsu sitting at the table talking, with a big bowl of Father Micheal's soup. They hadn't noticed that she entered.
Hayan felt tears form in her eyes, she had no reason why. There was a lump in her throat. She was crying and laughing.
The family noticed her after hearing her sniffles. They turned to see Hayan covering her mouth crying, she was walking towards them in an awkward way, since her other hand was behind her back.
Yerim and Yunsu ran over to her.
"What's wrong Hayan?" They asked.
"Nothing," She smiled, "Nothing is wrong"
She smiled and sniffled and took the seat that Euntae pulled out for her.
She looked at the soup, and then looked up. When she looked back down she saw Father Micheal.
"I-is that"-Euntae began.
"I am Father Micheal, yes. Hayan's powers seemed to have brought me here. I can only stay for a short time, as you can only pull someone out of heaven once. Hayan, I am very proud of you. The news of your victory against the vampires reached the afterworld. I was-" Father Micheal's eyes reached her hand. He saw her ring. "I was not informed you got married! I'm so sad I couldn't bless the marriage."
"Here is my husband, Euntae, Father Micheal. You've missed quite a lot. I also adopted my siblings, they are excited about the other one"
"Other- Hayan? Do you mean" His eyes wandered over to her stomach, it was very large. Tears filled his eyes. "My little Hayan is truly grown up. Married and expecting."
"Only because you raised me so well" Hayan smiled.
Father Micheal gave her a smile, and with a poof he left.
"Hayan what do you want to do today" Euntae asked her.
"I want to see my old friends. Last time I saw them they were interviewed, and they didn't back out on me. They deserve to know what's going on."
"Sounds good, I'll drop off the kids and come with?"
"I'll go alone, stay with them, the kids love you" She smiled.
Hayan got to the college. She was in her human form, as they hadn't seen her as a vampire. She was pretty nervous to see Hoyoung and Yeonsu (Pretend those were the names). She walked past the halls. People would move aside from her, seeing she was heavily pregnant. She made it to the mess hall. SHe took a swig of blood and continued to a table where she saw hoyoung and Yeonsu. Their heads were down, so they didn't notice Hayan until she sighed when she sat down.
Hoyoung looked up. "H-hayan is that you-"
"I think I have a lot of explaining to do," Hayan smiled.
Yeonsu looked up and saw her friend.
"Hayan! We were so happy when we heard you defeated all those nasty vampires! How have you been!"
"I've been- give me a second," she said as she turned into her vampire form, " I'm sorry, the human form takes a lot of energy and I can't spare that right now. I hope you don't mind but i need to drink a bit of blood. It's ox blood by the way, I've never had human blood."
"We don't mind," Yeonsu said, "also, I love your hair like this, it matches your name"
Hayan smiled.
"Ah yeah, I used to hide it, but I don't think I will anymore." She said, fidgeting with her fingers.
"So catch us up on what you've been- oh you've been busy" Yeonsu started until she noticed the ring on Hayan's finger.
"Wow, congratulations Hayan!" Hoyoung exclaimed.
"Oh, thank you! My husband wanted to come, mainly to make sure nothing would happen, but I wanted to spend time with the two of you!"
"Why would something happen? You could handle yourself."
"Oh I didn't tell- argh- you"
"Argh? What happened, are you ok?" Hoyound said, noticing his friend's gasp of pain.
"Nothing really, it's just," Hayan stood up, so her friends could see her inflated stomach, "The baby kicked pretty hard".
Yeonsu screamed "OH MY GOD OH MY GOD WE LEAVE YOU FOR 9 MONTHS AND YOU GET MARRIED AND KNOCKED UP!"
Hoyoung gasped "You look quite far along! When is it due?"
Hayan laughed, "The baby is due in two more weeks, it should come any day now."
"Hayan! You should've brought your husband, we don't know anything about pregnant vampires. Where do you live, we are taking you home, then we can talk"
"Guys!" Hayan said in a childish voice.
"No, we are taking you home. Ah you live here ok, come we have a car!"
Hayan agreed to come with them and they drove her home.
"Where's my backpack?" Hayan said, with panic in her voice.
"Don't worry about it here!"
Hoyoung handed her the backpack.
Hayan thanked him and rummaged its contents. All the bottles were empty. This wasn't good, they still had half an hour to drive.
It had been ten minutes since Hayan fainted. No one noticed.
"Hey Hayan! Turns out it was ten minutes away. Is this the right place?"
There wasn't a response.
"Hoyoung! She's unconscious! Pick her up, I'll knock on the door." Yeonsu said as she ran to the door.
"Hello! Anyone there? We have an unconscious pregnant lady!"
Euntae opened the door.
"God- Hayan, why do you always do this to yourself?" he mumbled.
"Thank you for bringing her over, why don't you two come inside. I'll take her here" Euntae said, taking Hayan from Hoyoung's arms.
"Yerim! Yunsu! We have guests, and get a bag of ox blood from the fridge!" Euntae yelled as he set Hayan down on the couch, " Sorry about this, obviously you can see she's pretty pregnant. She probably ran out of blood to drink."
"Here detective! We got the blo- Again?" Yunsu said when he saw Hayan passed out on the couch.
"Guess she forgot how much she needed today." Euntae said as he opened Hayan's mouth.
"Oh hello?" Yerim said to the guests.
"Hoyoung and Yeonsu. Hello!" Hoyoung said.
"You must be my sister's friend," Yunsu said!
The four got into a conversation as Euntae was feeding Hayan blood.
"Hmm!" Hayan exclaimed and she started coughing.
"Who- where" Her vision was blurred. She saw Euntae.
"Oh- Euntae I had this horrible dream, I had given birth in my sleep, keep me safe" She said, giving him a kiss.
"Ahem" Hoyoung cleared his throat.
Hayan turned around to see Yerim and Yunsu looking at them in shock, Hoyoung looking at them with second hand embarrassment, and Yeonsu looking impressed.
Hayan turned a bright red. "What?!" She exclaimed when she saw the looks that the kids were giving her, "It's not like we aren't married" She rolled her eyes.
"Uhm- anyways Hayan my sweet, you need to drink more blood, so here." Euntae said, handing her a bag of blood.
She finished the bad with one gulp.
"Sorry about that guys, I tend to faint if I don't have enough blood."
"It's alright! We have a lecture now, but we'd love to see you again!"
"Oh, alright! Bye guys!"
"Bye Hayan!"
Then the day went on as normal, with Hayan and the family arguing about whether she should go anywhere for the next few weeks. It was agreed Hayan could go outside with at least one other person.
1 week later.
Hayan looked even more pregnant. Her stomach was so big she couldn't even sit at the table comfortably. Today Haeun was coming to visit her.
There was a knock on the door.
"Coming!" Hayan yelled as she got up. She opened the door to Haeun.
"Oh Hayan! Here i'll hold the door, go go back inside, sit down!" Haeun said.
Hayan nodded, her feet were swelled up and she had no energy, even with drinking blood constantly.
"Wow! Not even complaining. That baby must be really tuckering you out huh."
"Yeah" Hayan said tiredly. She chugged down some more blood, "So how's your boyfriend? He proposed yet?"
"Hayan!" Haeun scolded, "We haven't even been together 6 months! Not everyone gets married and pregnant before 9 months."
"Hmphooow" Hayan started before being interrupted by a sharp pain.
"Hayan! Are you ok- You know what gives me a second, I'll get you some blood" Haeun ran over to the kitchen.
"Ah-ahh-ahh" Hayan couldn't get words out.
Haeun ran back with the blood, "Here! Drink up!"
Hayan shook her head. "Ha- haeun. I think the baby is coming"
Haeun looked into her sister in law's eyes. There was pain and panic.
"Ummm, here let me call Jinha she researched some of this stuff"
"Hur-ahh-" Hayan gasped as the pain was getting worse.
"Hello? Jinha! Hayan's in labor! Come quick-"
"Someone call me" Jinha said.
"I forgot vampires could do that," Haeun said, rolling her eyes.
Jinha looked over at Hayan whose face was scrunched up and pal. It looked like she was holding her breath. Then she let out a scream of pain.
"H-hayan, you are going to need to get up! Moving will help the pain,"
Jinha helped Hayan up who was sobbing in pain.
"You'll want to move around now, maybe bounce up and down"
Hayan nodded. She walked towards the wall, one hand on the wall for support and another on her stomach, as if it would stop the pain.
"You're doing great Hayan!" Jinha said, trying to encourage her.
"Haeun call Euntae!"
"On it!" Haeun responded, already calling Euntae.
Euntae was in the car with the kids, on the way to the store. They had left Hayan alone for an hour. Out of nowhere Euntae got a call from Haeun.
"Hello?" Euntae said with a smile.
"Euntae! Come quick. Hayan is-" Haeun stopped for a minute. She heard hayan whimpering, "Hayan is in labor!"
Euntae looked at the kids. They nodded knowing they couldn;t go and they needed to be there for Hayan.
"Alright kids! Next stop, our house."
"Ah- make it stop!" Hayan screamed. Both of her hands were on the wall now she was shaking her hips as if she was trying to shake off the pain.
Haeun walked towards Hayan.
"Hayan, sweetie, it's alright-"
"Mmmm- it hurts so much" Hayan complained.
Jinha had entered the room.
"Haeun help me me bring Hayan to the bedroom"
"Alright!" Haeun said, putting Hayan's arm on her shoulder. The three entered the bedroom where the bed was set up for Hayan to give birth.
"Hayan?" Euntae said. He had just walked through the front door. Yerim and Yunsu following closely.
"AHHHHHH-" he heard his wife scream.
He ran over to his room where he saw Hayan leaning on the wall sobbing.
Yerim and Yunsu cautiously looked through the door. They saw Euntae enter. Then they saw Hayan, her hands against the wall. She was looking down, shaking her head, sobbing.
"E-euntae it h-hurts s-so bad"
"It will be over soon" he said, giving Hayan a hug.
She sniffled. "The pain is gone again!"
"Hayan" jinha said in a tone of warning," don't get your hopes up, it's going to come back," jinha looked at the clock, " any sec-"
"AHHHHHH" Hayan screamed, " PUT ME ON THE BED DAM-GOD, IT HURTS!"
Euntae set her down on the bed.
"Hayan, open your legs, I need to see if the baby is there yet!" Jinha said.
"JUST GET IT OUT" Hayan screamed, opening her legs without complaining.
Euntae had taken this as a warning that Yerim and Yunsu had to go.
"Guys wait outside for a bit"Ok-" they said, obviously shocked by how loud Hayan was screaming.
"Ok it's coming Hayan!" Jinha screamed, "you will need to push!"
Yerim and Yunsu were shocked at how loud Hayan had been screaming. They heard sobbing and screaming. And then. A small cry. A baby "cry.
Euntae opened the door. "I HAVE A DAUGHTER!"
Yerim smiled and ran to see Hayan and the baby.
Hayan looked exhausted. All the screaming must've tuckered her out.
"Hi Yerim," Hayan mumbled as she noticed Yerim next to her, " wanna see your niece?"
Yerim nodded eagerly. She looked at the bundle. She had her fathers auburn eyes and her mom's white hair.
"What's her name?" Yerim asked.
"Mijung- oh that's the other one, this one is yeonhee."
"Other one- you mean there's two?"
"Yep" euntae smiled walking in with the other baby.
Yunsu and Yerim looked shocked.
"M-mijung and Yeonhee?" Yunsu said.
"Why do they look so different."
"It's the form. Yeonhee is in her vampire form, and mijung is in her human form.
Mijung has red hair and blue eyes, that was the human form.
"It happened very fast" Jinha said, "Because vampires sped up."
"Hayan, you will need to share this with the public"
"I-i will let me just enjoy my baby girls for a bit" She said, looking lovingly at the two girls.
