They kept calling me, "special", but what was so special about me?
Was it because I used to help others in a different life?
When my sister, Audrey, and I first came to Haven, I thought that it was just another small, boring, and somewhat friendly town in Maine that you would never really see on a map. I thought that it was just another case that Audrey was handed by her boss, who I used to think was kind of sketchy sometimes, but I never really thought about it at the time.
The second we stepped foot in that town, everything suddenly changed forever for both me and Audrey. We found love, we've experienced heartbreak, we uncovered the mysteries of our past...and lost ourselves along the way.
Every story has a hero and a villain.
Audrey was always a hero to me because she practically raised me my entire life and I will always appreciate her for sacrificing her own childhood to do that.
And I thought that I was the anti-hero that would bring both of our lives to an end even though eventually…
We both discovered that we were the heroes and the villains in this small town.
