He should have expected something day before during feast or even erlier. The problem was the amount of students. every year Hogwarts welcomed around 30 new students. That year amount of students increased to 300. And what students... Green eyed, clackhaird. with feateres of ancient house of potter. ALLMOST ALL OF THAM. And that was only the begining.
That little menaces were runing through the castle hissing at each other. Damn hissing. Not only the portion of tham who got to Slytherin, but all of tham. That wasnt even the start of the prblem.
That little bastards knew their way throuh the castle better than 7-years. And amount of Weasly-twins-level mischieve sky-rocketed. Amount of pranks in 1 day was so high that all Hogwats stuff were starting to develope nervous tick. And that was only a half a problem.
Little shiets knew their pases through classes better than any pureblood student. The amount of knowledge they had was astounding. And they knew almost everything about magic of first year curriculum. How to use, incanetions, wend movements, how to use tha in duells and pranks.
Severus knew only one thing. Potter was at falt.
