The train crawled up to a slow stop as it entered the station. A woman with dark hair pulled up into two buns on the top of her head gazed out of the window, looking out at the busy platform of Magix Train Station.

She pulled out her phone from her pocket and, with a smile, scrolled through the contacts and pressed the name surrounded by hearts. The phone rang on the other end of the line as Musa put her small red phone up to her ear. There was a small click on the other end as the person on the other end connected the call.

"Hey babe," Musa spoke into the phone as she stood up when the train came to a complete stop, "I just pulled into the train station."

"Then I guess I have perfect timing," a male's voice chuckled on the other side of the call, "I just got here to the station."

"Fantastic," Musa pulled her small suitcase from the overhead compartment above her seat, "I am grabbing my bag, and it looks like they just opened the doors, so I will see you in just a few minutes."

"Alright, I will be in the lobby."

"See you soon."

Musa hung up the phone and put the small phone into her small red purse. Grabbing her suitcase, she made her way to the train doors and exited the train, entering the large and busy platform.

Weaving in and out through the crowds of people, Musa exited the platform and made her way to the train station's main lobby. There were people sitting on benches waiting for their train to be called into the station, and others were waiting to pick people up. Musa looked out over the crowd, and her face turned up into a large smile when she saw the familiar black hair and slim frame. She all but ran to the man standing in the corner of the lobby, and she felt her pace increase when she saw his face brighten up when their eyes made contact.

Musa leaped into his arms, and he held her close. She breathed in his fresh scent, so different from the smells of the city that she had grown to love.

"I missed you, Jared." Musa sighed into his chest.

"You were only gone for a week, Musa." Jared chuckled as he gently pulled away so that he could reach behind her and grab her suitcase. "How was Melody? How is your dad?"

"Dad's fine." Musa responded as she and Jared walked out of the train station, "Melody was great though it was still a bit too cold to go to the beach like I wanted."

"Maybe you should have gone to Solaria." Jared chuckled.

"But Jason McQueen was scouting in Melody." Musa rolled her eyes as they approached Jared's orange car. He opened the trunk and put Musa's suitcase in the trunk. The doors to the car unlocked with a small beep and Musa got into the passenger seat with Jared taking his place behind the wheel.

"Yeah? And how did that go?" Jared asked as he started the car, the engine purring to life.

"I think that it went well. We exchanged information and Mr. McQueen said that he would call me when he got back to Magix."

"If he is coming back to Magix, why did you go to Melody?" Jared asked as he pulled out of the parking lot of the train station.

"Because I thought that I could kill two birds with one stone. See my dad and hopefully increase the band's chances of success."

"I'm sure that the guys are going to be excited about your good news."

"I never said that I had good news. It's not like McQueen dropped to his knees and begged me to sign onto his label." Musa scoffed and rolled her eyes.

"Yeah," Jared snuck a glance over to Musa, "but he didn't shut the door in your face either. I would say that is good news."

"How do you always know how to make me feel better?" Musa placed a kiss on Jared's cheek, his olive skin roaring to a dark pink.

Jared cleared his throat as he looked ahead at the road and gripped the steering wheel tighter. "Well...uh...it's easy when it's you."

"Your flattery will get you everywhere, Mr. Lee." Musa teased.

"Oh, is that so?" Jared responded coyly, his mouth turning up into a smirk at the corners.

Musa leaned over the armrest between the seats, her lips brushing up against Jared's ear.

"It will get you everywhere and it will get you everything. A week has been too long."

Musa's voice was low and husky, her breath hitting Jared's ear. She could see the tiny, dark hairs on the back of his neck stand up on end.

"I wholeheartedly agree."

Jared's reply came out breathy and Musa's face grew into a smug expression. She loved seeing Jared squirm. She kissed the dip of the top of his neck, right at the base of his ear. Jared moaned under the press of her lips on his neck, leaning instinctively closer to her. But he quickly pulled away, remembering that he was driving in the middle of a busy city.

"But I think that I will cash in on my flattery reward later," Jared's voice returned to normal, "the band secured a night playing at the Frutti Music Bar. Apparently, Klaus thought that it would be a good idea to start a once-a-month Booze Night or something like that."

"You mean the Frutti Music Bar is finally going to get some alcohol?" Musa let out a breathy laugh. "Does Klaus even have a liquor license?"

Jared shrugged, "I guess. But either way, the boys are waiting for you at the bar and I am sure that they are excited to hear about what happened in Melody with the great Jason McQueen."

Musa sat back in her seat and tilted her head back on the headrest. She took in a deep breath through her nose and exhaled.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Jared chuckled.

"I'm just really hoping that all of this works out." Musa turned and shot a soft smile towards Jared, "I am ready for the next chapter of my life."

"Who would have thought that if you advertise alcohol that the people would come in droves?" Musa chuckled as she sipped on a non-alcoholic smoothie.

Musa was standing at a tall table with Jared and her bandmates, Andy, Rio, and Mark. They were about to go on, but a few other local bands played a nice setup for Musa and her band. She had changed into another set of clothes, black pleather pants and a silver, strappy top, a far cry from the ripped jeans and sweatshirt that she was wearing when she got to Magix. She had been glad that she had followed Tecna's advice to leave an extra set of clothes in one of the employee lockers at the Frutti Music Bar.

"Who doesn't love good booze and live music?" Andy chuckled as he finished up his smoothie.

"There was no alcohol in that, was there?" Musa asked as she looked from Andy's now empty drink on the table to his red flushed face. His silence was deafening. "Andy!"

"What? It is just one drink." Andy shrugged as his mouth turned up at the corner into a smirk.

"But you are terrible at holding your liquor." Musa scolded.

"Am not." Andy defended.

"It's like you don't remember the apartment party at Musa's last fall." Mark rolled his eyes.

"It's because he actually doesn't." Rio scoffed.

"But I-"

Musa cut Andy off as she snatched the empty glass off the table, "You're cut off, Andy. We are about to perform in a few minutes and you need to be alert. No more."

She walked away from the table, Andy calling out to her. "Where are you going?"

"To get you some water," Musa replied, "and to tell Klaus that he will not give you any more alcohol or he will have me to deal with."

Musa weaved through the thick crowd of people in the Frutti Music Bar, just as she had done earlier in the day as she exited the train platform. She focused on the tuft of blonde hair on the top of Klaus' head at the busy bar, a beacon in the swathes of people.

Finally making it to the bar, Musa set down the glasses on the counter and leaned forward as she waited for Klaus to come over to her after serving the other patrons. She placed a hand under her chin and her hips stuck out, the already tight pleather pants squeezing against her firm ass.

The noise in the crowd mixed with the sound of the band and the smile on Klaus' face made Musa feel strangely at ease. She thrived when there was a large crowd in the audience and she was so happy to see Klaus so happy. Maybe this whole Booze Night or whatever the Hell Klaus called it would be a good thing. One day, a crowded Frutti Music Bar, and the next, a sold-out arena. She could hear the cheering now.

But all daydreams have to come to an end.

Musa felt something on her lower back, like a hand. The touch was firm and sent a shiver up her spine. It was unexpected and the one thing that she knew is that it wasn't Jared's hand. It was too big and too calloused to be Jared.

"As much as I appreciate a nice ass in my face, I am really trying to get to the bar."

The voice was deep with a slight teasing lilt to the tone. Musa whipped her head around and looked up to see a man with olive skin and maroon hair towering above her.

Musa quickly escaped his touch, a frown on her face.

"You know that you could have just asked me to move." Musa huffed as she scooted over at the bar, allowing the man to wedge himself beside her. A little too close for her liking.

"Nah." the man smirked as he looked over at Klaus and raised his hand.

"Nah?" Musa raised an eyebrow.

"What can I say? I am a man and you have a nice, tight, little body. I couldn't resist."

"What you are is a pig." Musa narrowed her eyes, growing angrier and angrier with the man near her.

"And I liked seeing you jump under my touch."

Musa was about to give him a piece of her mind, or a swift kick to the groin, but Klaus appeared in front of her and asked Musa what she needed. Giving Klaus her order, the man turned to face her and smirked.

"You do realize that it is the only night this month this place actually has some fucking alcohol?"

"And you do realize that I didn't fucking ask for your two cents?" Musa replied through gritted teeth, praying that Klaus would return with her order as soon as possible. She just wanted to get away from the man on her left.

"And here I thought that I was going to be receiving a warm welcome to the big city." the man chuckled.

"Maybe if you didn't touch women without their permission and learn how to use your words like a big boy..."

"I was just trying to get by you, sweetheart."

"Don't call me that." Musa shot a glare towards the tall and muscular man next to her.

"Here you are." Klaus came back and handed Musa her drinks. Musa let out a small sigh of relief, thankful to get away from this man.

As she reached forward to grab the drinks, she felt a gust of wind hit her ear.

"Then what should I call you?" the man asked, his voice rumbling and saturating her senses.

She turned to look up at him, drinks in hand. Musa took a deep breath and trained her face.

"Nothing."

Musa stepped away from the bar, leaving the man behind at the bar. She made her way through the crowd and back to the table. She set drinks on the table and grabbed her fruit smoothie and began to angrily sip through her straw.

"What's wrong, Musa?" Jared whispered as he leaned in, wrapping an arm around Musa's waist.

"Nothing, just some asshole at the bar."

Jared looked around and his eyes landed on the bar. As there were a lot of men standing at the bar, Jared didn't know who he should direct his anger towards. But he knew that Musa could take care of herself, that is what she liked the best about her.

"Well, I am sure that you handled it in your typical Musa way."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Musa turned her head to face Jared, still hot from her interaction with the man at the bar.

"Nothing," Jared's eyes widened, not sure why he was now receiving Musa's anger, "I just mean that you are a strong woman and I certainly would not want to be the one to piss you off. I haven't pissed you off have I?"

Musa's face softened, knowing that she came off as a little abrasive. She was working on her temper with the help of Jared and her friends. But people like the guy at the bar really just set her off.

"I'm sorry," Musa sighed, "I just hate people like that."

"I know," Jared pressed a kiss to Musa's forehead, "I know."

"Hey!" Mark shouted, "Lovebirds! We got a show to play here and we need to get backstage. You two can do all of that later."

Musa huffed and pursed her lips, "I guess that we have to get back there."

"I'll be right at the front." Jared smiled as he placed one last kiss on Musa's forehead.

"I know."

"And I will be waiting for you after the show." Jared shot Musa a suggestive look.

Musa smirked as she pressed a slow kiss on Jared's neck, sending the familiar blush up to his cheeks.

"You better."

The set went better than expected and Musa was reeling from the noise of the crowd. Music was her passion but nothing sounded better than the positive response from the crowd. But she was tired. After a long day on the train and a long night of playing and talking with fans, all she wanted to do was go to bed.

"I'm sorry, Jared." Musa sighed as she placed her hand in Jared's as they walked out of the Frutti Music Bar along with the other patrons leaving after closing.

"Don't apologize to me," Jared squeezed Musa's hand, "you had a long day."

"Thank you," Musa rested her head on Jared's shoulder as they continued to walk back to Jared's car, "But I was really excited to spend the night with you. Like I said earlier, a week is far too long to be away from you."

Approaching the car, Jared unlocked the doors and he and Musa climbed inside.

"You can just make it up to me later."

Jared put the key in the ignition and the engine roared to life.

"Trust me," Musa placed a kiss onto Jared's lips, "I will."

The pair drove through the lit up streets of the city, the sound of the car stereo the only noise flowing through the space of the small, orange car. Musa's head was leaned back on the headrest and after a long day, she was content to just be in the calm space with Jared, music being the only sound. She was at peace.

"We're here." Jared announced.

Musa's eyes slowly opened and they were at her apartment complex. How did they get there so fast? Did she fall asleep?

"Yes," Jared said, "you did."

It was like he read her mind.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Musa asked as she leaned over the center armrest.

"Only if Mr. Saladin doesn't have any pressing issues." Jared chuckled in response.

"You tell my cousin I told him that you need to leave work at a normal time." Musa folded her arms across her chest in defiance.

"I don't think that I can do that." Jared laughed.

"Then I will tell Helia myself. He listens to me."

Jared rolled his eyes, "Whatever you say."

"Yes, it is whatever I say." Musa gave a curt nod. "You are the best technician at the company."

"I will do my best." Jared replied. "Now you better get upstairs and to bed. You have to be up bright and early for work."

"You know working with your cousin's wife has its perks." Musa shrugged, "I get to sleep in."

"While your day might start later than most, I am sure that Flora will want you to be well rested."

"You're just trying to get me out of this car."

"I would rather get you out of those clothes but alas, someone is too tired and we-well I-have an early morning."

"Getting a little forward aren't we, Mr. Lee?" Musa smirked.

"Good night, Musa."

"Good night, Jared." Musa kissed Jared before she got out of the car.

She walked around to the back of the car and Jared opened the trunk so that she could grab her luggage from her trip to Melody. She closed the trunk and waved to Jared before he drove away and Musa was left to make her way inside and up to her apartment.

Musa looked up at her apartment building and saw that her apartment was the only one with the lights off. She knew that a young couple lived next to her but the other apartment had been empty for the last few months. Did someone finally move in?

Making her way up to her apartment, she reached into her purse and pulled out her keys. Stopping in front of her door, the keys slipped from her fingers and hit the carpeted floor of the hallway.

"Shit."

Musa crouched into a squat and she picked up the keyring of silver keys. She took a deep breath as she returned to a standing position and flipped through the keys, finding the key to her apartment.

The sound of a door opening filled the hallway and Musa, trying to avoid small talk in the hallway with whoever was leaving, hurried to put the key into the lock. She glanced over to see that the door had opened had been the one belonging to her new neighbor. If it had not been two in the morning, she would have gladly stopped to talk to her new neighbor but it was two in the morning and she was tired after a long day.

But her body froze, her hand stilling on the silver key in the lock on her door when she heard a deep and unfortunately familiar voice.

"Well, hello there, Nothing."

Musa gulped and felt her heart stop. How did she get so unlucky? How was this possible? Why her?

It was the asshole from the bar.

He was her new neighbor.

I hope that you liked it! Let me know what you think! I don't think that it will be as long as The Teacher and I don't know how fast I will be able to update now that I am over halfway through the semester and things are really starting to pick up at school. I am just excited for it to be my last semester of classes before I start my internship and then I will hopefully get my Master's. Lol, how funny is it that a graduate student is writing smutty fanfiction from a children's show that she watched as a young child? The things that stick with you...lol. Thank you all for your support and I hope that I have made you all excited for this story.
