Prologue:
Monks started praying. They are keepers of key. They can feel the power of glory is getting increased. They have to hide the key. They have plans.
The two deities spoke.
Their mere presence, almost made the monks near dead.
" Why? " The deities, rulers of hell dimensions asked.
" We need your assistance ,oh great goddesses. The Glory is coming . " Monks spoke the reason for calling them.
Mere mention of her name struck fear in the great goddesses hearts.
They remembered the war between Glory and them. They almost lost , with luck and heavy efforts of their powers combined defeated Glory.
They banished her to earth , created a human to bind her to . Even though she awake she can't come to their dimensions.
" Glorificus is no longer the threat. She can't reach this dimension . " They spoke unison.
" She wants the key which we sworn to protect. " Monks chanted.
" We will destroy the key . " Goddesses spoke.
" We will give our life before letting you near the key . " Monks said.
Goddesses smiled, tried to find the key with magic. Even for their great powers , key is not reachable. Goddesses are impressed.
" What is your intentions monks? " They asked.
Monks bowed before them.
" We need protector to key. The slayer alone can't defeat the Glory. We fear Glory will win. We want to call other. Purest heart, champion of men, one who protect mortal realm of other dimension . We don't want to manipulate mere memories alone. " Monks opened their minds.
" That's beyond any magic. You want to merge two realms. "
" It's necessary. If Glory reaches this dimension, she will destroy entire universe, all the dimensions with power of key. "Monks replied .
" If you must then do it. We will provide all the power you need. "
Monks started chanting. Two universes started merging.
There is a big sound like sky itself split in half.
The big meteor shower rocked entire smallville.
In the middle, there is golden oval shaped matallic ball falling.
" Buffy " Joyce is calling.
A 4 year old girl is running fast as a fun but the chaos because of meteor shower is frightening her.
Buffy didn't care. She saw the golden object , want to look closely.
The golden ball fall with incredible power, the shockwaves rocked the place , making Buffy unconscious.
The ball is opened, a boy came out it, looked at the unconscious girl.
Suddenly there is a flash of lightning , that went through both of them.
Buffy sighed looking at the new school. She is fired from her old school in LA , because she burned down gym along with full of vampires.
This is the only school who accepted her.
Sunnydale-smallville high.
It's weird . Two towns , sharing one school. It must be if it accepted her.
She looked around. It's typical high school with cheerleaders, footballers,nerds , all typical teenagers.
She has to go to principal office. It's not difficult.
There is already one boy inside the room.
She has to say that boy is hot in prime colours.
" Miss Summers " Principal Flutie saw her. " Please come in ."
" You are the second one to join the school in middle Ms summer . This is Mr Kent . "
Buffy looked Kent. Why did he is joining the school in middle? But that got answered quickly.
" You are home schooled so far. Great grades, good scout work. We are pleased to have you. "
" Thank you Mr Flutie . " Kent politely said.
" I am Clark. "
" Buffy . " She said with smile.
" Yes miss Summers. You know this school is to open new chapter. You will get second chance no matter how bad your previous record is. " Principal tore the paper suddenly looked surprised. " You burned down gym ? "
" No no. I was just happened to be there . " Buffy tried to defend herself, even she can tell she is not sounding honest.
She looked at Clark. He is looking at her with surprise.
" Okay Ms Summers. I will keep your record safe. You got your second chance but I am watching you . You two can go now. "
Buffy and Clark left the room.
" You really burned down gym? " Clark asked.
" Yes. It's long story. It's for good reason. " Buffy said.
" It must be. " Clark smiled.
" What. That's it. You believe me ?. " Buffy asked.
" Why not. You look like a person who won't do things without good reason . " Clark said.
" You are interesting person Clark. " Buffy said with smile.
" You too Buffy. I like your name . " Clark said.
" You are the first. Thank you. " Buffy said, they reached classroom.
Buffy sat beside a girl named Cordelia, Clark sat beside Xander .
Buffy can't believe her past followed here . The librarian knew that she is slayer. He showed her the almanac of vampires.
" Hi " Buffy greeted willow. " I need your help . "
" Yeah. "
" I don't want to flunk my classes. I found out you are the person I need . "
" I can totally do that . " Willow said.
Buffy thought Willow is looking like she got offered candy .
" We should meet in library . " Willow suggested but instantly Buffy denied.
" No no library gives me wiggles. We need some place crowded, loud. "
" Oh . " She looks disappointed. " Library is great . New librarian Mr Giles is amazing. He brought all ancient books ."
The new librarian sent for her. Buffy thought.
" Hey Willow. "
Buffy looked at the boy who called Willow.
" Hi Xander . " Willow said with much enthusiasm.
Buffy saw Clark with him.
" Hi Clark. "
" Hi Buffy. "
" You two knew each other? " Xander asked.
Clark can see Xander is giving typical teenager look . He is totally crushing on her.
" We met in principals office. " Clark replied.
" Hi Willow . " Clark shook her hand.
" Hi. Wow " Willow can't help but blush seeing him.
Buffy can see what Willow is seeing in Clark.
Clark may wore plaid blue shirt and pants with red jacket but he is hot.
" Your hand is strong . " Willow tried to cover her wow.
" Thanks . I do lots of farm work. " Clark replied.
Xander coughed little to get their attention.
" Willow, Clark need your help. He is new and he needs to follow up with all the classes. I told him you are the one to do that. "
" Buffy wants same thing. But she doesn't want to do it in library. She wants something loud . "
" We can go to bronze. " Xander suggested.
" Oh my god. There is a dead body in locker Room " Cordelia screamed .
Buffy alerted.
" Is there any marks? " Buffy asked.
" Ewww . " Cordelia said with disgust. " I don't know . "
Buffy ran, leaving surprised group behind her.
She saw the body a boy. It's a vampire kill.
First day of Sunnydale, someone already dead.
First person came to her mind is librarian.
Buffy went straight to library.
Buffy don't know why she is near bridge. She can't believe that she still has this destiny . Mr Giles words are ringing in her mind.
She is directly above hell mouth and it's not coincidence that she is here. She can't stop fighting.
Suddenly there is a car , directly crashing against her. If it is not for her slayer reflexes, she will be dead.
The car went through river, Buffy jumped into water.
She can see a beautiful woman in the car , unconscious .
Buffy hit the glass with punch and opened the door, tore the seat belt , freeing the woman .
Buffy grabbed her, swam to shore and gave CPR .
" Thank you for saving me. Tess Mercier " she said.
" Buffy. " Buffy replied.
Clark is walking from his house. He is late and it's dark . He is going to bronze to meet Willow and others.
Clark realised that he is being followed .
Next moment, Clark walked little fast and jumped high and stood on wooden beam until he saw who is following him.
Surprisingly it's a girl, older than him , maybe she is twenty but weird thing is she is in her Catholic school girl outfit with tight top and short skirt, honestly it's sexy.
Clark jumped behind her , obviously startled her .
" Who are you? " Clark asked.
" I am Darla. I am here to give you information. " She replied.
" Why me ? " Clark asked.
" Don't underestimate yourself Clark. I know you are special . "
Clark thought he should be panicking now . He is always careful . How did she knew? Clark thought . Strange thing is he is not panicking . The way she said , it's like she doesn't care much .
" There is a evil brewing under this town for long time and it's surfacing now Clark . A protector got called to this town but it's not enough . This town need your help . "
" You know you can be little more specific . " Clark commented .
Darla can't help but smile .
" This town is above hell mouth which will attract so much supernatural evil . Harvest is approaching Clark. Master will raise. " Darla said.
" Harvest, master, hell mouth . What do mean by any of this? " Clark asked.
" Find out Clark. Ever heard of library? " Darla smiled and left .
Clark went to bronze .
Clark found Xander and Willow so is Buffy.
Buffy and Willow are talking .
" Buffy Summers , Local hero saved billionaire daughter . " Willow is reading news paper .
Clark can see Xander almost staring at Buffy.
" You should ask her out . " Clark told him , " seize the day . "
" Seize the day . " Xander repeated.
For first time Clark took initiative to help a friend.
" Willow , do you want to dance? " Clark asked .
" Me. Dance. No no . " Willow shook her head violently.
Buffy can't help but smile and nudged her.
Clark took Willow hand and guided her to dance floor.
Clark signalled Xander with head to ask out Buffy.
Panic is evident in his face but Clark is encouraging him.
For his relief, Xander finally asked Buffy and they started dancing.
" You asked me just to give example to Xander. " Willow stated .
Clark realised his mistake.
" Please don't be angry . I can tell that you like Xander but he is clearly interested in Buffy, looking at her like wounded puppy. And just because you like Xander, doesn't mean you shouldn't have good time . I promise , I will be perfect gentle man . "
Clark started dancing . Clark can see little blush in her cheeks , which he thought it's cute.
Clark almost lost in his dance and looking into her eyes , realised Xander is no longer dancing with Buffy .
He looked for Buffy, she is talking to librarian Mr Giles.
" Isn't it our librarian? " Willow asked.
Clark nodded.
" Willow . Can you excuse me? I need to talk to him . " Clark said.
Before he left, Clark kissed her on cheek and said. " I have lovely time. "
Clark went to meet Mr Giles and Buffy.
" Mr Giles. "
" Hello Clark ." Giles greeted.
" Can I ask you a question? "
Giles looked at him to continue .
" Does our library has any books on our town history? "
" It's strange place to ask for books Mr Kent. Any specifics? "
" It may sound weird but is there any supernatural history to this town? " Clark asked.
" Every town has it's own mythical history . I guess I can refer you some books. " Giles said.
" Thank you Mr Giles. " Clark said and about to leave suddenly stopped. The way Mr Giles said, looks like he knew lot about history.
" Do you know anything about hellmouth?"
Clark can see Giles startled .
" Mr Kent. How do you know about hellmouth ? " Giles asked , grabbing him by shoulder .
" It's nothing. A girl told me . She said our town is under hell mouth . "
" What else ? " Giles said.
" Mr Giles. What's going on ? " Clark asked.
" Mr Kent. Please tell me whatever you knew . "
" I saw a girl while coming to house. She said this town is under hell mouth and harvest is coming and master is going to raise . "
" Harvest? Master ? Who is she? " Giles asked almost panicking voice.
" Mr Giles . You need to tell me what is happening? "
" Mr Kent. Please tell me. It's important. "
" She said her name is Darla. She is the one told me to refer the library. " Clark replied.
" Mr Kent. Thank you . But I can't tell you anything but I will show you all the books you need tomorrow. Right now I need to talk to Buffy. "
Clark tried look for her. She is not there .
" Oh no Xander. " Buffy said and ran. She can tell the girl Xander is dancing is vampire and she took Xander with her .
Willow is waiting for Clark and Buffy bumped into her and asking about Xander.
She saw him with some girl and going somewhere , next thing she knew she is running along with Buffy. She can sense something is wrong because she heard secretly that Buffy is slayer and vampires are real.
Is that girl vampire ? Is Xander is in danger?
Willow went with Buffy.Clark is unable to see any of his friends.
He quickly ran , searching for them.
Clark didn't have much difficulty to follow up with them. He heard screaming.
Xander ,Willow are in some type of old abandoned cemetery . And they are being chased by 5 people.
Their faces are distorted and have fangs.
Buffy is nowhere to be seen.
Along with Willow and Xander there are 2 more guys but they knocked down.
" Willow, Xander . Are you ok? " Clark asked.
Before they can answer, two guys attacked them , Clark easily stopped them.
" Run " Clark screamed .
Willow and Xander started running.
Those 5 men no match for strength of Kryptonian teen.
He threw them like they are rag dolls .
The problem is they are not getting knocked down.
They are stronger than normal human, probably this is what Darla means.
" Hey Clark. " He heard Darla.
Next moment, she staked one of the monster and he went to dust.
" It's the only way Clark. Soulless creatures. " Darla threw the stake.
Within moments, remaining them went to dust .
When he finished, Darla is nowhere to be seen.
Clark quickly reached Willow and Xander.
Willow strongly hugged him.
" What's going on . Are they monsters? " Xander asked.
" They are vampires. " Willow replied.
" Where is Buffy? " Clark asked.
" She is fighting with them. " Willow replied.
" Two students are unconscious. You call someone. I will look for Buffy. " Clark said.
Before he left, Willow stopped him. She never done this type of daring thing before.
She grabbed Clark and kissed him.
Buffy is too busy fighting 3 of them but suddenly someone else joined and Buffy is really overwhelmed . She can't fight them anymore .
She is in small and ancient single room construction with single door.
She quickly jumped towards the door and closed it behind and she saw Clark .
" Buffy come on. " Clark screamed .
Clark grabbed her arm and started running .
Buffy knew vampires ran after Xander and Willow so she didn't resist . She need to know what happened to them.
They ran until they met Willow and Xander in bronze .
" Oh Clark . You are safe . " Willow hugged .
" Oh Buffy . " Xander came forward to hug but Buffy stopped with smile .
" No need Xander . "
Everyone can't help but laugh seeing Xander face .
