While Decepticon's Rising will return, this story will take center stage for the time being, mostly because I have no idea how to write Fowler and he's featured heavily in Decepticon's Rising, guess I'll have to watch Prime again, sadly Netflix only has the first season. Regardless, this story won't feature Fowler much, so enjoy.
The Warlords Equal
The air was thick with the scent of recent battle, the remains of New Kaon towered in the distance. Military personnel moved, ensuring that those who had returned to Jasper were incapable of heading out towards the Cybertronian fortress.
Among those scouring the remains of their homes, Sierra worked, pushing rubble from the remains of her homestead, her family aiding where they could. Her mind replayed everything that lead to them coming back here.
A bright green light had formed in the skies nearby, illuminating the clouds with its sickly colour. From this source, a beam of light had shot forth, erecting a structure of alien nature close by. She had not failed to notice the way the military quickly arrived, ordering an evacuation.
She paused in her work, her eyes sweeping the horizon, there was something off about the sky, about the way the soldiers carried themselves, they were tense. They were afraid of something, she wasn't sure what, but she believed it had to do with the mysterious structure.
Moving towards another piece of rubble, she allowed her gaze to shift, falling upon the skies, something was above them, the soldiers had begun to lift their weapons, their owns eye set on the skies. An explosion rocked the ground, sending a building toppling down, those inside crushed under the heavy weight.
The soldiers fired into the sky, others started to direct those around, Sierra moved to follow her family, her gaze caught something, it seemed the soldiers had seen it as well. An alien jet soared towards them. Sierra widen her eyes as the jet shifted, plating moved as it slid into place.
Slamming into the ground, stood a titan. The figure was massive, clawed servos spread wide open, ground teeth clenched tightly as the figures piecing red optics swept the soldiers. He wore several layers of armour. His shoulders were large with massive spikes adorning them.
His purple plating shined in the light, orange highlights illuminating parts of his frame. His right arm bore a large weapon covered with little plating. A small horned crest lined his helm, two large, spiked eyebrows narrowed, a third spike rose form the centre of his helm's top. A large fin rested along his back.
Sierra took a step back as she felt the figures optics focus on her, a dark grin formed as his weapon charged, small pink particles began to form at the tip of the barrel. Sierra ran, only hearing the screams of terrors behind her.
"You can run, but you can't hide from me, Sierra."
Another blast from the figures weapon levelled a building ahead of her, forcing her to make a hard turn. The figure moved quickly, adjusting his movements as he continued his pursuit. Sierra leapt over debris, the crunching of concrete and wood under heavy metal pedes.
Turning another corner, Sierra widened her eyes. With a small amount of grace, she came to a complete halt, her eyes scanning for any possible exits from the dead end she found herself in. The sound of the figure coming grew loud. "Please be something I can use to get out of this?"
Several seconds passed before the ground shook violently, the figure cried out in shock before a dark chuckle echoed over the place. "Ultra Magnus."
Sierra spared a chance to glance from her dead end, her gaze fell upon another alien, standing tall as he stood before the figure. "I had wondered where you vanished to, Galvatronus." Ultra Magnus responded, his arms shifting to blasters.
"Sierra!"
Sierra turned, her gaze falling upon Jack, another alien stood by him, a female. He waved her towards them. She moved, breaking into a sprint as Ultra Magnus began to fire at Galvatronus. She felt the ground rock as an explosion tore another building apart. Moving to avoid the falling debris, she stumbled to the ground.
The sound of metal slamming against metal reached her ears. A primordial scream tore through the air as Galvatronus roared in anger. "I'll tear out your spark and crush it with my bare servos, Autobot."
Sierra glanced over her shoulder, eyes wide as the two engaged in a heavy duel, blades clashing against one another. Staggering to her feet, she slowly began to move, her gaze focused upon Jack.
"Come here girl!" Galvatronus screeched, reaching out towards her. Sierra screamed before a small body slammed into him, the alien that previously stood beside Jack has knocked the large alien aside.
Sierra quickly reached Jack's side, turning just as a cry of fear left Jack's throat. The reason quickly came clear. Within the grasp of Galvatronus, was the female alien. Sierra could see her struggling. Galvatronus growled, grasping her by the arms.
"You will pay for your interference, Arcee." Galvatronus screamed, his blade piercing her through the chest. Arcee's screams echoed into the air, the pain in her cries matched the pain expressed in her optics.
Time slowed as Ultra Magnus raced forward, his large frame colliding with Galvatronus. The Megatron lookalike went flying, crashing into one of the nearby buildings. Jack screamed as loud as his lungs let him as Ultra Magnus lifted Arcee into his arms. "Ultra Magnus to base, we have injured."
Sierra widened her eyes with marvel as she stepped out from the groundbridge. Ultra Magnus moved, resting Arcee upon the nearby berth before stepping away in silence. Ratchet moved fast, shooing the others away as he got to work.
She watched silently as several other titans stood. Glancing over the railing, she caught sight of Miko and Raf, along with Jack's mother. Another man, a Government official stood, discussing something with Optimus.
The Agent turned, his gaze focused upon her. "Miss Sierra, I'm Agent William Fowler, currently the liaison between the Autobots and the U.S Government. I suspect you'll have plenty of questions, and we'll answer them as best we can." He spoke, moving towards her.
Sierra nodded, opening her mouth to reply before the sound of something colliding with the wall echoed throughout the hangar. Their attention was drawn to the Autobot Medic, his servos were loose as his shoulders fell.
"Ratchet?" Ultra Magnus spoke, stepping forward, his gaze falling upon the damaged frame of Arcee. "What is the verdict?"
Ratchet sighed as his sadden gaze fell upon those gathered. "I'm afraid the damage inflicted upon Arcee was…" He paused, optics locking onto Jack. "Fatal." He finished.
The room fell into silence. A silent no echoed the base as Jack fell to his knees, hands hitting the concrete floor as tears began to flow free. His breathing was heavy, his body tense as the tears moved quicker and quicker.
June moved fast, quickly moving to support her son. Sierra stood in silence, watching the interaction quietly. Form her own observations, Jack had known about this far longer than she did. With another glance, she watched the other Autobots closely, they all seemed to look at the ground. Others moved to distract themselves.
But one thing stood out the most, the way Ultra Magnus stood, staring at Arcee's body, the Autobot commander's shoulders had fallen slightly, his servos clenched tightly. Sierra could faintly see his optics narrow in regret, it made her wonder, had he lost others to this Galvatronus before? And if so, how many has he lost?
Heavy pedes echoed throughout the hallways of the Nemesis, his crimson optics locked on the path ahead. Vehicons parted before him, giving a wide berth for Galvatronus to pass through. His clawed servos leaked Arcee's energon, leaving a small trail behind him.
Emerging onto the bridge, the titan's optics fell upon Starscream, the Air Commander stood silently, observing the clouds below them. Galvatronus growled, marching forward. "I want a full report on my brothers' condition." He snarled.
The Air Commander turned, screeching in horror at the sight of Galvatronus, many turned, their attention drawn to the two. "You live." His words were muttered silently, yet the Titan turned, eyeing the Air Commander with a dangerous glare.
"Chose your words wisely, it would be a shame to waste your talents overseeing an Energon Mine." Galvatronus warned, growling as he towered over the Seeker. "Now answer me."
Starscream nodded. "Knock Out has assured us that Lord Megatron will make a full recovery from his ordeal, his systems simply need to reboot after being exposed to New Kaon's energy core." The Seeker paused, eyeing the scraps and scratches of his fight earlier.
Galvatronus hummed in acknowledgment, turning swiftly as he made his way towards Soundwave. "Inform the others, I have arrived, there will be punishment for failure to adhere to protocol and training regiments."
Starscream mumbled to himself as he entered the medical bay, his gaze falling upon Megatron's large frame. The mighty warlord slept within a deep stasis, his systems taking time to reboot following their mass overlord. "Is he ready to come online?"
The Decepticon medic turned, optics falling upon the Air Commander. "I was going to bring him back to the world of the leaving in a breem." He noted, moving towards the nearby computer console. "Thought I suppose bringing him back now couldn't hurt."
Starscream stood silently, watching Knock Out work fast. Starscream was curious as to what fate would befall Airachnid, now knowing she had lied to Megatron regarding his brother's fate. His master was going to be upset.
A groan emerged from Megatron's lips, his crimson optics flaring to life as he moved forward. "What happened?" The warlord demanded, swinging himself away from the berth. His heavy pedes touched the ground.
"Lord Megatron, New Kaon was lost." Starscream began, watching his master closely. "However, it would seem Primus has smiled upon us all in this dark time."
Megatron turned, lifting an optic in both amusement and interest. "Do tell, what has Primus brought to us in our defeat?"
Starscream smirked. "Airachnid lied about one death at Tesarus." He watched as Megatron's optics widened. "Galvatronus lives."
The Decepticon warlord smirked, a dark chuckle leaving his lips. "And so, this planet will learn what it truly means to be afraid." Moving past Starscream, Megatron clenched his servos. "For with Galvatronus by my side once more, none shall stand in our way."
The main idea for this story was an alternate timeline where the Decepticons won the war for Earth, and Primus gave Jack, Miko and Raf a chance to prevent that outcome, converting them into Cybertronians, who they are I won't reveal now.
Galvatronus is typical the result of several others merging together, the unnamed combiner formed by the council in the RID final was Galvatronus.
