Setting: Restaurant
(Y/N received a message on her Poryphone from Siebold asking her to meet him at a restaurant in Pasio.
She heads over and meets Siebold at the door.)
Siebold: Welcome, young lady. Thank you for coming over right away. I have invited you here today to try out my new recipe.
Come in, and please take a seat over here.
(Siebold presents a plate of a large seasoned steamed fish, with a bowl of rice and a serving of leek on the side.)
Siebold: Well? What is your impression of my new dish?
[Choice selection]
⁃ It looks delicious!
⁃ My stomach's rumbling at the sight!
Siebold: I am extremely glad to hear that. This is my first attempt at oriental cuisine. Please dig in while the food is still hot.
[Choice selection]
⁃ What kind of food do you usually cook?
⁃ What kind of dishes do you usually prepare then?
Siebold: I prepare seafood dishes most of the time. At my restaurant back in Kalos, we serve clam chowder soup, pasta pescatore, bouillabaisse, to name a few.
You look confused at the last part. Have you heard of the dish called 'bouillabaisse'?
It is simply put, a seasoned Kalosian seafood stew made from fish. I would like to have the honor of making it for you one day.
But before that, isn't your food getting cold? Please hurry up and eat it, so that I may hear your impressions of my dish.
(Y/N finishes the dish while Siebold waits beside her.)

⁃ It's delicious! Thanks for the treat!
⁃ I can't believe how great that tasted! Thank you!
Siebold: The pleasure is all mine.
...Y/N, I apologize for my rudeness, but there is some sauce on your face. Please allow me to wipe it off for you.
(Siebold brings out an expensive-looking handkerchief and wipes it against Y/N's face, causing her to blush.)
Siebold: By the way, Y/N, have you ever had the opportunity to prepare a meal yourself?
[Choice selection]
⁃ Yes
That is wonderful. As I have thought.
⁃ No
I see. That is not a problem.
Siebold: Now, there is one more reason I have invited you here today, and it is because I wanted you to try your hand at helping me out with a dish.
Why did I ask you? You look like the dependable type, and being our Team Leader, I thought that you were most suitable for this task.
Shall we head into the kitchen without further ado?
(Y/N and Siebold walked through a door labelled 'Staff Only', and Siebold led her in front of a counter with a stove next to it.)
Siebold: I am preparing cream of mushroom soup for my customers as today's Soup of the Day. Would you give me a hand? I will guide you, so you need not worry.
[Choice selection]
⁃ Sure!
⁃ No problem!
Siebold: Wonderful. Please help me chop these mushrooms into thin slices.
...
No, please do not hold the knife like that. You will hurt yourself if you do. Let me demonstrate how to hold it.
(Siebold places his hand over Y/N's and guides her hand, slicing the mushrooms with perfection.
He stands right behind Y/N, their bodies almost touching, with his head looming over her shoulder.)
Siebold: Perfect. These mushrooms are looking wonderful. Devotion to one's craft leads to delightful results.
Shall we move on to the next step, then?
I shall handle it this time, as I do not wish for you to injure yourself by accident.
(Siebold melts butter in a frying pan and then throws in some onions and mushrooms.
He then flips them upwards and catches them in the pan in an expertly motion, while Y/N stares in awe. A fragrant scent came wafting out of the pan.)
Siebold: Delightful. Y/N, it is now your turn. Would you help me pour the broth in, and stir it with whipping cream?
(Y/N does as Siebold instructed, while Siebold adjusts the heat on the stove to thicken the soup.)
Siebold: We are almost finished. The final step is to add the seasonings. Y/N, please add them as you please.
The seasoning rack is over there. We have salt, pepper, nutmeg, thyme and basil.
(Y/N takes a look through the selection of seasonings and picks a few, adding them to the soup and mixing them.
Siebold then inserts a ladle into the mixture and scoops up a little soup, lifting it towards Y/N's mouth.)
Siebold: Please give it a taste. We Chefs always taste our soup to ensure that the seasoning is just right.
(Y/N, feeling flustered, sips a little of it.)
[Choice selection]
⁃ It's great!
⁃ It's perfect!
Siebold: Is that so? Then please allow me to give it a try, too.
(Siebold brings the same ladle to his lips and gave it a sip.)
Siebold: ...Indeed, you are right. This is an amazing flavor that you have brought out. I think you have the potential to become a chef!
Potential is something that lies hidden within. Drawing out that hidden flicker of light is the job of every Trainer--as well as the job of a world-class chef.
...What? Your face appears to have turned red upon seeing me sip from the ladle. Are you feeling alright?

⁃ Yes!
⁃ I'm okay!
Siebold: Wonderful. Let us bring the soup to the cauldron in the dining area.
...And voilà! This perfection is ready to be served. Come and get it while it's hot, fine guests!
Y/N, I deeply express my gratitude for your help today. I hope we can have another opportunity to cook together again.
I can see that you have the potential to become a great chef. Would you like to start working here together with me?
