Once again, back for more! This is for QL, round 2. I'm Arrows captain, for those who didn't notice my team change! The round was Disney themed, where we were given different Disney songs to use as inspiration. Captains were given "Part of Your World." I've never been a huge fan of this, but I hope I found a good idea! The relating task was

Astoria slammed the bedroom door as she fled from her parents. "I won't do it," she muttered anxiously. However, she didn't know how in the world she would be able to follow through on her words. Marriage! She was hardly 18!

She seemingly had everything a girl could want- two parents who doted on her, all the clothes and other possessions she could ask for, and the social standing to assure that she would always have friends. But she wanted more than that. She wanted to have a life that she could be proud of, one that she'd created herself, not one foisted on her by the choices of others.

She couldn't believe her parents would do something like this without her opinion. They had always promised they would allow her to choose who she would marry, but apparently, they'd changed their mind.

She'd grown up with Draco Malfoy, of course. Their families were quite close, being part of the aristocratic pureblood circles. She had never liked him, though. He was arrogant, snobbish, and just not a person she really wanted to be around.

I can't do it. But how could she do anything to get out of it? There was no way she would be able to avoid it as long as she remained here.

The idea hit her from out of nowhere. Run away. At first, she shoved the thought away. She couldn't leave everything she knew, could she?

And then she considered the idea further. What if she did run away? Would she be able to support herself? Would she even be able to get away with it?

Why not? She had plenty of valuables she could sell and make a small fortune off. The emotional aspect would be easily ignored. But could she do it without being found again? Her parents would certainly hire detectives, or even recruit the Aurors, in order to find her again. How would she be able to keep away from this world she no longer wanted to be a part of?

Astoria realized the only way she could possibly hope to get away with it would be to hide in the Muggle world. Her parents wouldn't think to look for her among Muggles. They would think them below her, and wouldn't believe she'd associate with those considered below her.

She decided to waste no time. She hurried for her closet, pulling down a small case and grabbing several outfits. She threw it out on her bed and quickly packed . She grabbed any essentials she thought she'd need. Her journal, a few of her favorite little knick knacks, and so on. In her bathroom, she grabbed toothpaste, toothbrush, and the other toiletries she would need.

Opening a drawer, she saw her family photos. For a few moments, she felt a pang of guilt that she would be leaving them, no trace of where she'd gone. But it doesn't have to be that way. She could give her parents some peace, if that was the way to think of it, so that they wouldn't worry too much.

Tearing out a page from her journal, she wrote a quick note.

Mum and Dad,

I'm leaving. I can't do what you want me to do. I can't marry Draco Malfoy. You promised this would be my choice, and you're forcing me into it. I'm sorry, but this is the only way I can think of to keep to my principles. I know you will try to look for me, but don't. This is best for everyone. That, and I've considered that you'll look and taken steps against that.

Again, goodbye, and I'm so sorry.

Love,

Astoria

It was Astoria's second week in the Muggle hotel she fled to when she'd left her family's manor. By this point, most of the employees knew her and they sometimes chatted for a few minutes as they passed each other. They all thought she was a bit strange, as she seemingly had no place to go or any connections at all.

"Hello, Inez!" Astoria called as she headed downstairs to the complimentary breakfast.

"Astoria, how are you?" she responded. "Got anything planned for today?"

Astoria shook her head. "No, not today. You know I've been trying to find some kind of employment, but I've not got any qualifications."

Inez seemed to consider for a moment before she said, "Can you type on a computer?"

Astoria shrugged. "I suppose so." She had been intrigued by the hotel's computers and had been using them off and on during her time there.

"You know, I have an uncle who is looking for a new receptionist. He runs a fancy office. It might be worth a shot. Do you want his information?"

Astoria nodded enthusiastically. "Please!" If she could land this position, it would be a step towards a stable life among the Muggles.

The next week, she walked out of Mr. Barnes' office, concluding her very first day of employment. She'd gotten the job very nearly on the spot as soon as she'd interviewed. Apparently, they were desperate. The work wasn't very difficult, and Astoria thought that, with time, she could make a proper life for herself at this place.

"Hey, Astoria, want to join us tonight?" one of her new coworkers called after her. "We're all going to the cafe down the street for some tea."

Astoria had noticed Eric almost immediately. He was quite handsome, if a bit standoffish and quiet. He seemed like someone that would be a good friend once she broke him out of his shell.

"All right!" Astoria nodded, smiling as she followed him. She knew it was only a start, but it was a step on her way through her new life. The life she'd chosen.
