Kate Bishop Williams woke up with the weak march sun coming in through the white curtains. Barely awake she listened the footsteps of her older sister around the apartment.

"Diana?" she called.

Diana show up on the bedroom door of her sister. "Morning. Sorry I wake you up".

"It's ok. Are you going to row?"

"Yes. I'll be back in one hour".

"Ok. Be careful, sis" Kate said worried.

Diana smiled and answered "Don't worry".

Kate watched her sister walked away from her bedroom door and listened the apartment door close. She sighed, get out of the bed and went to take a shower.

After the shower, Kate walked around her bedroom choosing a clothe for a day inside the apartment. The brunette choose some yoga pants and a big comfortable pink sweater.

Kate was starting doing breakfast when the front door opened and Diana walked in, tired but happy "Hey, I'm just going to take a quick shower and I'll be right back".

A few moments later, Kate was leaning against the counter drinking coffee when her older sister walked in, already dressed and braiding her hair. Kate handover a cup of coffee to the blond who tried to pick up a toast.

Seeing her sister's effort, Kate took her sister hair from her hand and gave her a toast while saying "Here, eat. And I'll do your hair".

"Remember when you keep asking me to do your hair?" Diana questioned her younger sister.

"Of course I do. I always had the best hair look at school. Now it's my turn to make you more beautiful than you already are" Kate answered.

Diana smiled with the good memories.

"Such relaxed times" the older one remembered with nostalgia.

Kate ended her sister's hair and turn her around, laying her hands in her sis' shoulders. "It's going to be great. They will love your lecture".

"I really hope so".

Kate walked to the desk, pick up Diana's notes and handed her over. "Here. Text me when you get there and tell me how it went when it's over".

"I will" Diana said while picking up her apartment keys and purse.

"Good luck. Love you" Kate screamed to her leaving sister.

"Love you too" Diana answered already on the other side of the door.

While her sister was on Oxford University giving a lecture about alchemy, Kate used her morning to search for jobs and work on her article about DNA.

However when her sister didn't texted her saying how as the lecture, Kate started getting worried and was about to get out of the apartment when her sister walked in.

"Diana, are you ok? How did it go? Why didn't you text me or called?"

"I'm so sorry, after the lecture I found Gillian Chamberlain and we went to take a coffee and totally forgot." Diana answered feeling guilty after seeing how worried her little sister was.

"It's fine. Now tell me everything."

Diana told everything about the talk she gave, the possibility of getting a job at the university, her conversation with Gillian and the minor accident with her notes.

"No one saw it, right?"

"No, I don't think so."

"You shouldn't have told that to Gillian" Kate said concerned and added "You now that witches can't use magic where humans can see it. She can tell to her coven about it and you could be in trouble, sis."

"I now, but she is my friend she won't tell anyone." Diana answered with certain.

"Now you have to finish your research for the lecture" Kate said, changing the subject.

"Yup. Tomorrow I will go to the Bodleian library. Do you want to come with me?" Diana asked.

"Sure. You work on your lecture and will work on my article".

Next morning the Bishop sisters walked to the Bodleian while talking about everything and nothing in particular. When they entered the library they were received by a smiling Sean, the Bodleian's human employee.

"Morning" the sisters said at the same time.

"Good morning" Sean answered amused.

"I heard that your lecture impressed a few people yesterday. So now you got to have that paper finish, right? What do you need?" Sean questioned to Diana, while she filled in the request of the books.

"Ashmole 37, 92, 183 and 728".

"No problem. I will be with you shortly" Sean said and added to Kate "Do you need a book, Kate?"

"No, thanks. I will work on my article" She answered tapping her computer bag.

"Ok. See you in a few minutes".

The sisters sit on a table facing each other and placed their computers on the table. Kate immediately started working on her paper while Diana waited for the Ashmole manuscripts.

Right before the books arrived Gillian showed up next to the table.

"Hey, how is it going?" She asked not noticing the younger Bishop.

"Oh, the usual" Diana answered.

Sean brought the books and only then Gillian face Kate. "Hi, Kate".

"Hey, Gillian" Kate said, but she didn't kept talking. She didn't like Gillian, she felt deep down that there was something wrong and mean about the witch.

Fortunately, Gillian left after saying goodbye to Diana and the older one face her sister.

"You should be nicer. She is a good friend" Diana scolded.

"No, I shouldn't. There is something wrong about her. I can feel it" Kate replied a little angry with her sister.

Diana started analyzing the book Ashmole 728 and when she opened it she felt something, a powerful energy that affected her but not the humans "Can you feel it?" she asked Kate.

"No. What wrong?"

Diana didn't answered to her sister and kept opening the book. The lights went out and the sister looked at it other. Diana started seeing words in a page where was nothing written on.

As the letters show up to Diana, Kate tried to call for her sister, but Diana was in some type of trance and didn't heard her. Kate got up and went around the table to her sister's side. Diana started to see words in her hands, she put them on the page but she was burned by the book.

When her sister got up, Kate saw a nasty burn on her sister's palm and notice that it had the shape of the image on the page.

"Come on, let's go" She said to Diana while picking up their laptops.

They got out and the witch returned the book to a confused Sean. They were out of the Bodleian when Diana went against a men who look like her father "Dad?"

Kate look at her sister shocked with that word but she didn't had time to question her about because Gillian showed up.

"Diana, what happened in there?" the red-haired asked.

"We have to go" Kate said pulling her sister.

Blonde and brunette sisters walked quickly through the streets of Oxford towards their apartment.

What they didn't knew was that all creatures around the Bodleian felt the energy of the book too. Particularly, Matthew De Clermont and Miriam Shepard.

And he was watching the two women leaving the library.
