The Legacy of the Asgard

This is a story about what would happen if Thor didn't accept his race's death. It isn't a story about dialog but more about creative things he might do.

The Legacy of the Asgard

The Asgard were dying. Thor knew that, and the high council knew that. They were leaving what they could to the Tauri, but he still needed to do more to ensure their legacy. They couldn't put all their eggs in one basket. They had done that in the past when they went down the path that doomed their race thousands of years ago. Then they did it again when they put the final nail in the coffin when they administered a potential cure without doing enough studies. Instead of a cure they created a deadly disease that was further speeding them to their end.

Thor didn't agree with the high council's decision though. He was a fighter, and he wasn't about to stop fighting now. He did what he could to ensure his plan wouldn't fail, but there wasn't much he could do. He would be doing this alone and with all the enemies currently out there he couldn't even count on his friends the Tauri. He trusted SG-1 and most of their people at the mountain, but they had moles and enemies within. He may be able to count on the Nox but not likely as they had been so against their cloning to begin with. They also tend to feel at times that nature should take its course.

No, he would have to do this himself and he would probably be alone for a long time. He wasn't able to secure any O'neill or Daniel Jackson ships but at least he had his old ship he had from millenia ago before the Bilskirnir. It looked a lot like the Bilskirnir but smaller. It was only about a third to half the size of the Bilskirnir, let alone an O'neill class ship. He did however have automated probes sent throughout both galaxies so he could keep an eye on things. His ship and others were going to be blown up so he used much of his ship's power reserves along with any old mothballed ship he could get a hold of to make as many probes to be sent out as possible throughout both galaxies. They were simply made with a faster than light drive, a simple cloak, were fusion powered and thus could refuel themselves in gas giants, and had a simple energy matter converter that could affect self repair and make more of themselves using whatever simple materials that were available. They also had simple fast firing energy weapons for defense but no shield as they relied on a cloak for defense. Thor then backed up as much of their history and knowledge as he could on the old Asgard core of the ship and put the rest on storage crystals that he added trays for to ensure that nothing would be lost.

A little more than a day later. . .

Well, it was done. Sooner than he would have liked he was all alone. He would have liked more time with his friends before he might never see them again but the Ori had put an end to that. He was now on the bridge of his new home. It had had all the basic technology he really needed. His ship was cloaked behind what had been Orilla before it was destroyed. After the Tauri and the Ori left, which was a surprise to begin with as he didn't think the Ori even knew where they were, he got to thinking. He knew he needed to do things differently now than he had in the past as he didn't have the industrial base of the Asgard anymore to rely on. He would need to think things over.

For one, he decided to go about his technological base in an entirely different way than they had in the past. He would take ideas from their past along with ideas from the ancients and the Tauri. Thor decided that he must utilize a lower technical base that was more easily produced and managed than what they have used for millennia. He needed to rebuild where no one would think to look for him in order to have the thing he needed most, time. Thus, Thor directed his ship to head to one of the least remarkable systems he knew of around, a nearby red dwarf system that its only real defining feature was its lack of any of the usual materials and elements their technology was usually based upon. It was lacking in naquadah, naquadria, trinium, and especially neutronium. Thor would go back to the basics to rebuild.

What the system did have though was numerous planets, planetoids, asteroids, gas giants, and moons. Plenty of space to both hide in and rebuild in. The gas giants would come in use as he decided much of his technology would be based off of fusion, particularly hydrogen and helium. The rest would mostly be based off of the use of carbon, silicon, and the more common metals along with titanium. He would also utilize fission (usually thorium but wouldn't pass up other prevalent sources), geothermal, and solar. For the times he would need more power than all these and fusion could provide he would utilize antimatter, but sparingly or for weapons. He would supplement his power needs with low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors that the Tauri thought up. He didn't know why they had never thought of subspace capacitors, but it was an ingenious idea.

Thor would mostly use the low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors because having tinkered with the ideas and designs he realized larger versions tended to need rarer elements. For the lower power versions the designs could be largely made of carbon allotropes such as carbon nanotubes. They still provided quite a bit of power, just not like neutrino generators would. Also, they were more of a constant source of continuous power than a source that could be ramped up. Lastly, only so many could be used in a spot or they would reduce the effectiveness of each other by tapping too much into the local subspace. Because of this it really usually wasn't even a hindrance to not have the higher power versions unless you needed power in a more confined space like on a ship. The larger versions not usually made would tap out at 40 percent the power of a ZPM and you could only have four of the larger versions in a given small area however you could supplement the larger ones with lower power versions to a point as the less powerful they get the more of them you can have in a given area as the lower power versions tap into a smaller area of subspace. So, for instance if Atlantis made use of subspace capacitors it could have four of the large type in the central tower area with low power versions at the end of the docks with some ultra low power versions spread throughout. This would allow them to have about the same power of the three ZPMs or at least be in the ballpark, but the subspace capacitors can not be used in hyperspace effectively. Faster than light drives like destiny's would still work but that limits your speed but allows for travel under cloak. The only way such a ship would be able to use hyperdrives is if they can charge capacitors that will need to be recharged while not in hyperspace, but then you usually are better off just using the faster than light drive is like warp unless you needed to use hyperspace to avoid an object in real space. Because of this Thor decided he may make more use of gates similar to but not of the same size as super gates.

Having reached the red dwarf system he decided to modify his ship by converting some of the unused quarters to both fusion reactors with their storage tanks and low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors. This would allow him to avoid using his old version of neutrino reactors that still needed rare elements to work and therefore couldn't readily be refueled. The oldest versions like these usually utilized fuel from protostars or naquadah to work (naquadah was more powerful though) while newer versions like that on the O'Neill class utilized naquadria. The beliskners tended to utilize naquadah except the earliest versions. Thor also modified his ship to have intakes to aid in the acquiring of fusion fuel from smaller gas giants. It could beam fusion fuel aboard from larger ones, but was not ideal and often the radiation prevented it while at the smaller ones the ship could just fly through the outer atmosphere and quickly refuel. Since I added subspace capacitors I also added some interstellar faster than light drives to normally use. They wouldn't be as fast as even the old version of intergalactic hyperdrive that the ship currently had but would allow the use of the subspace capacitors.

Thor quickly backed up his mind and set it to do so at regular intervals so that if he should die his society would not come to an end. He would eventually make multiple backups and if he had to he could reside in a computer but he hoped if that were to happen he could at least make an android body. He had to make his body last as long as possible so he decided to utilize nanites and a portable life support along with having his body being transported into stasis if needed to prolong it.

After all this he refueled his ship at one of the smaller gas giants and got to work. He needed a backup as soon as possible so he first headed to one of the moons to start. Thor also created an AI modelled on his mind for his ship as he would do elsewhere along with minds of those he admired and trusted such as Jack, Sam, Daniel, and Jonas. He would have one for Teal'c too in order to advise on military and tactical matters along with maybe bringing in charge of drones and defenses. Thor wished he could utilize holograms in the way they did in the Earth show Star Trek, but so far he had no luck duplicating it. If he did it would provide an alternative to bodies and he could rebuild his society off the templates of asgard minds. He would also make an AI based on Lya to be in charge of bringing some life to his bases in worlds through the use of plants and other nature. Thor himself was not artistically minded nor was he good at arranging gardens, but he knew having no life was uncomfortable for the other species that he hoped to bring into his society.

Witnessing the destruction of his and numerous other races he thought if he was to rebuild he should base it on more than just the asgard. He hoped to do as he did with the AIs and take into his society those that proved worthy, moral, and trustworthy. He would bring the remnants of societies such as the Tollan if he found any survivors, or even Elizabeth Weir if he could eliminate the asuran aggression from her coding. This would bring new life to those saved and provide diversity and adaptability to his society. For too long his race had proven unable to adapt and even the Ancients got themselves in the situation with their heirs the Lanteans before the Tauri inherited the name. What the people of Pegasus didn't realize is that the last inhabitants of Atlantis that led to the creation of the Wraith were in fact just highly evolved humans left to be caretakers after the ancients ascended. They knew their time was coming to an end and decided to do what the furling did. The furling had created several caretaker races that SG-1 unknowingly encountered once they realized their race was dying. Some were successful, some were not. One was the incorporeal race that can be encountered by using the skull while one of the others was the race that was somewhat water based that used Daniel's genetic memory to find out what happened to his lost mate.

Thor decided that once his base was up and going he needed to go and grab what survivors of the Tollan and the Tok'ra he could find after first grabbing Elizabeth Weir. He was also thinking of bringing back some of the Tok'ra if they still had DNA samples, especially their Queen if they promised to help guide the Tauri along their way. Thor felt that the Tauri had greater potential outright but the tok'ra had wisdom to help guide them as they were still young. He would also help other races in the Milky Way with their help. He had to act through them for now and only through the tok'ra he trusted. He would probably work with Anise, and Selmak, the queen, and Martouf if he could bring them back. This way he could help his friends while he rebuilds along with protecting the Tollan while they rebuild and become part of his society. He admired the Tollan but felt that somewhere along the way they lost some of their adaptability like the asgard and needed to be protected.

Thor beamed down some repair bots modified from the design of the old ancient ship Destiny that they discovered in the small portion they unraveled of the repository of knowledge. They would be directed by an AI of Sam that he beamed down to the surface of the inhabited moon. The AI was in a simple redundant computer core that was made with slower technology comprised mostly of silicon and carbon nanotubes that was better suited to harsh and airless environments. This one was powered by a low power subspace capacitor along with a back ultra low power subspace capacitor and it had a small energy matter converter that also had an ultra low power subspace capacitor. The moon was somewhat close to its smaller gas giant so it had a molten core that could still be tapped for geothermal power and thorium reserves on the planet for fission.

At first Thor was thinking of making a base but instead he decided to follow the ancients example and have the AI based on Sam build a city ship like Atlantis. He still wanted it to be based on his new design principles, but he knew it would take a while. Thor decided to also let his ship help carry out the construction to speed it up. He decided to create a time dilation device that would be powered by the star in the system along with subspace capacitors but the time dilation would affect what power could be obtained by the capacitors. The area of subspace they were in would not be able to keep up with the increase in the rate of time but with the power of the star it would not matter. He then activated the time dilation device and put himself in stasis while his ship's AI and that of Sam did the work.

A few weeks later real time, or decades later within the field Thor was awoken. The time dilation device was brought down and he had his ship dock with the newly created city ship. It was a third larger in area than Atlantis, but it needed to be in order to be of the same power as Atlantis. Sam had created many more repair bots to build the ship. Many of them were later used to make geothermal plants and thorium plants along with numerous subspace capacitors of various sizes to help power the construction effort. They were limited by the time dilation field but it all helped. They would now be used to help develop the system and set up infrastructure.

The city ship itself would keep many of the repair bots for self repair along with having nanites spread throughout for the same reason. The city was basically built in the way suggested to power Atlantis if you were using subspace capacitors. The four larger ones by the central tower required the use of rare elements that had to be made with the use of energy matter converters but the rest of the ship other than main power conduits were made of substances like carbon nanotubes and silicon. The city ship itself was a lot like Atlantis but had large areas of the basement reserved for storage tanks for the large fusion reactors that were below the four larger subspace capacitors along with several other changes.

The docks of the city were longer and larger with each having four low power subspace capacitors at the end of each pier in the tower there and numerous ultra low power subspace capacitors spread throughout the city to power the individual areas. There were labs like Atlantis but there were lots of areas dedicated to manufacturing with energy matter converters. The piers themselves had large energy matter converters with large robotic arms and nanites slurries to affect repairs in ships along with manufacturing them. The central tower also had a large asgard computer core made of mostly carbon and silicon but also contained neutronium, trinium, and naquadah in small amounts. The city ship had multiple AIs along with backups such as AIs based on Mckay, Zelenka, and Sam for the science and engineering areas along with Jack, Sheppard, Teal'c, and Thor AIs for dealing with strategy and defense. The main AI was based on Thor however.

Thor headed for the main tower and made use of a transporter room to get there faster. The ship had regular asgard transporters also, but most beaming was blocked throughout the city for security reasons other than during emergencies where security protocols would have to be overridden. Sam's AI was giving me a tour of the ship. It was quite impressive and looked a lot like most asgard ships on the inside but with windows and nature spread throughout.

The ship like Atlantis was set up to be able to use geothermal power on worlds that allowed it but also had intakes underneath for refueling in the atmosphere of certain gas giants. The ship also had shields of asgard design that allowed for weapons fire through the shield but were not quite as powerful as Atlantis outright but could regenerate faster and utilize some of the energy of energy weapons fire to help regenerate the shield by reincorporating the energy into the shield matrix.

The city ship had fast firing energy weapons for fighter defense and asgard beam weapons on the towers of the piers and the main tower along with Atlantis like drone weapons that could bypass some shields but couldn't pierce ships repeatedly like the real drones but were much easier to make as they were made of common materials. Lastly the ship had a cloak and mostly used the faster than light drives instead of the hyperdrive but it could use the hyperdrive either under fusion power which was slower than even the faster than light drives or it could make use of the capacitors that can be charged when not in hyperspace by the subspace capacitors and fusion reactors but would not last very long although the ship would be almost just as fast as Atlantis when fully powered.

There were also storage containers for antimatter that could be used in the manufacture of antimatter weapons or to provide massive amounts of power to power the hyperdrive once the capacitors were used up. The antimatter storage tanks could be filled slowly by the energy matter converters when excess power was available or by harvesting small amounts from solar flares by beaming the small amounts created to the storage tanks. All of these ways only slowly fill the tanks other than while by really active stars.

The ship was currently utilizing its excess power to build fighter drones for defense and ships similar to gate ships also known as puddle jumpers to allow exploration through the gate in the gate room like Atlantis does. Both the fighter drones and the gate ships would have faster than light drives, cloaks, and basic shields. Like the city ship itself they could refuel in certain gas giants. More automated drones were also being created. Thor switched the priority and moved up the automated probes so he could send them throughout Pegasus as he was now planning to head to Pegasus with his city ship.

Thor gave the ship a couple weeks to quickly make some automated probes to send throughout Pegasus. He then powered up his ship and told the original AI of Sam to continue to develop the system and to expand to other systems that didn't support life throughout the galaxy and beyond if it gets to the point. He would leave subspace boosters along the way wherever he went, both to stay in contact with the rest of his territory and to maintain backups of his mind. He would also borrow a page from the Tauri playbook and have his old ship make and go about planting stargates, first in this system, and then slowly towards the path he went in his city ship. They would not be made of naquadah so they would have to be of shorter range like the original star gates but they could send on people and whatever they sent through to following stargates by storing whatever received in the buffer of the gate before dialing onward like a chain letter or the bridge between the milky way and Pegasus. His territories would also go about making and planting stargates where possible however their power could be subsidized by the power in the area so they may even dial directly between galaxies or farther. When established enough his various territories would build super gates that would allow many of the ships to instantly travel. Most of these ships would not allow ships the size of city ships to travel but certain ones may.

After he powered up the ship he decided to try using the capacitors and took the city ship into hyperspace to go as far as it could with the capacitors before switching back to the faster than light drives. It got him more than halfway there so he decided to not go at full speed with the faster than light drives so he could charge the capacitors and use the hyperdrive to get most of the rest of the way. He wanted to go into Pegasus under cloak anyways. It would have taken the faster than light drive over three weeks to get between the galaxies but with the stop to recharge the capacitors it just took three days. If he didn't need to recharge he could have done it in under a day.

Thor had released subspace boosters along the way. They also were sensors. He was now entering Pegasus under cloak while using the faster than light drive. The other upside of the faster than light drive is that the stargate can be used unlike during the hyperdrive. Once he was close to Pegasus he began dialing various stargates and sent out probes to get an idea of what was going on and where the wraith were.

Right away intel started to play out. Thor could see numerous groups of wraith in what appeared to be territories heading toward inhabited planets. It was sad really that he couldn't currently do much. He dialed back to his home systems and told them to start making as many city ships as they could. Hopefully in a few months he would be able to provide some much needed relief to the humans of this galaxy. He also set his AIs about figuring out a way to get the wraith to longer need to feed. He was aware of Michael's research and thought he could use Todd to somehow bring about an end to the war. But he knew he would have to kick them down a few times to convince them that they had no other way.

He headed off to pick up Elizabeth and then he would set up several systems here to make city ships just like back in his home system. Against other foes he would make other sizes of ships, but with the wraith it seemed that even the Auroras could be brought down so he needed to go for overkill. Thor never understood why the lanteans didn't make better warships than the Auroras but he knew Atlantis was able to stand up to assault for years. They should have performed a strategic retreat prior to getting in such dire straits and came with overwhelming force. The wraith were limited by their food supply and technology, but the ancients really weren't.

It took a few days to get to the stargate where Elizabeth was. He beamed her to a stasis chamber and disintegrated the rest with the stargate. He then quickly went between various uninhabited systems and did the same thing he did in his home system except he didn't use the ship to speed up the building of the ships. While this was going on he went down to the lab with the stasis pod and set about creating a new body for her that was a carbon based android that one could only tell it was not human by destroying it or with specialized equipment. It would still have nanites for self repair but they would be simple ones without the ability to run amock. It was easy to get rid of the asuran code in her code but it wouldn't have worked for the others so it was good he got rid of them.

Elizabeth was waking up now and Thor could tell she was confused. She asked where she was and why was Thor there. After explaining everything, especially about how he couldn't save the others. She calmed down and wondered what would happen now. He went on to explain how he was going to help deal with the wraith and see what he could do about the milky way, but he wasn't sure about what yet.

Since he needed to wait for more city ships to be made he thought he would head to the milk way to set up a few systems there as well along with gathering a few more allies. He again released subspace boosters along the way and started to get some of the intel acquired in the milky way since he released the probes. Thor found evidence of survivors among the Tollan but nothing so far for the tok'ra.

Thor headed towards the remains of the Tollans' world and began scanning. He found several partial computer cores that be beamed aboard and had nanites attempt to repair what was left. Between all of them maybe he could find a technological base for them to recover from. He found several hundred survivors with Marin among them. He beamed then aboard which frightened them at first but once they calmed down Sam's avatar explained we were there to rescue them and escorted them to their quarters and helped others to the med bay where Elizabeth instructed them on the use of the stasis pods to heal their injuries.

After this Thor had Narim come up to his conference room to offer his people a place amongst us as we try to rebuild. Thor also gave them what was recovered from their computer cores which was most of their accumulated knowledge and history. What was missing was slowly being filled in so not much would be lost.

Narim was told that eventually he would be able to contact earth but now was not the time.

Thor then set out looking for any sign of the tok'ra both with the ship and by sending out many more probes. After about a month he found them on a harsh moon on the outskirts of the galaxy. Thor established contact and made a deal through Anise to save their race. It was decided that being symbiotes after what the Goa'uld did for millenia was likely a dead end. They also didn't have a queen currently although they did have her dna along with Selmak but only small samples from Lantash.

Thor decided to save the tok'ra by blending Anise's and the three deceased tok'ra's DNA with female humans' DNA. Thor also had a sample of Jolinar available. The tok'ra would go on by having their genetic memory and some of their other characteristics passed on through the female X chromosome. This would prevent the females from being taken as hosts and would pass on to their daughters both their genetic memory and their improved health and longevity. Thor wanted them to be dependent upon working with humans so that is why they would have it be part of their X chromosome and only would be active in female offspring. They would always need to find a human mate to continue their race and therefore would have a vested interest in humankind. The tok'ra agreed and went about helping humanity as they could along with acting on Thor's behalf in this galaxy. He stated several systems here while he went about looking for the Tok'ra but he did not have enough of a presence here. Also he could not fit in as well as the tok'ra could. He left the tok'ra with ways to contact him but took Anise's offspring with him to incorporate into his society like he was with the Tollans. She already had her eye on Narim. It appears Freya had rubbed off on her.

Thor now decided to head back to Pegasus and to start to deal with the wraith. He had several city ships that had come from the original system and a few were still under construction in Pegasus. He should make more ship designs but for now he would use what he had that works. He headed to Pegasus and used his time to work on new designs. He wasn't an engineer so he thought he might just reuse old designs modified to work with his new materials and power sources. Thor thought he could use the beliskner design but modify the materials used and make the ship be powered by multiple low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors along with fusion reactors and intakes for refueling. He would need to have it stick to the faster than light drives though and not include a hyperdrive. After these city ships are done that is probably what he will do. He can pump these out way faster and have them perform patrols and work in packs. As he didn't have people for the most part yet they would be operated by AIs that would self destruct if they got boarded and overtaken. But to be safe he would have automated defenses, shields, and repair bots aboard equipped with energy weapons.

While this was going on he was headed back to Pegasus and was currently about halfway with his capacitors recharging so he could jump back into hyperspace for the rest of the way before dropping out to enter the galaxy under cloak. Since Thor didn't have many ships now other than the city ships he could use his city ships to create defense satellites to aid him in his attacks on the Wraith. Some could have beam weapons while others could have rapid fire energy weapons to take out fighters. He could power the beam ones with low power subspace capacitors while the antifighter ones could use the ultra low power ones, but all should have cloaks, shields, and sublight drives to maneuver. Thor instructed all his city ships to begin making them, and most of them had some automated fighter drones already made.

Thor projected where the next cullings would happen and set about setting up defense satellites for the systems. He would wait further out and come in behind the ships after they were engaged with the satellites. Besides defense satellites he would set up some fusion and antimatter mines shortly before the range of the satellites. They would also be cloaked with sublight drives.

The first hive with two cruiser escorts dropped out or hyperspace in the system Thor was waiting for. The stargate on the planet was dialed and darts began to take off. The mines would not explode however until the capital ships were in range and then they would take out both darts and ships. Once the ships were within range the mines exploded taking out half the darts, one of the cruisers while badly damaging the other, and also badly damaging the hive. The hive then dislodged all of their darts and the satellites uncloaked while beginning to fire on the oncoming darts along with taking out the remaining cruiser. Within the atmosphere were further satellites that fired upon the darts that came through the gate. At this point Thor's city ship decloaked behind the hive and quickly took out their engines with the beam weapons and then proceeded beneath the hive to hit it underneath where it was vulnerable. Meanwhile the city ship dislodged its fighters and fired its drones toward the remaining darts that had begun to turn back around. The hive continued to get bombarded by the beam weapons and even the rapid fire energy weapons started to have an effect. Some of the darts were coming in range now but instead of fleeing the city ship moved closer to open up with their batteries of rapid fire energy weapons that decimated the darts. The few that made it through harmlessly collided with the shield or the city ship. Throughout the galaxy battles continued to go about the same way.

After this trial by fire Thor mostly had their city ships go around and lay defenses for the various occupied planets and moons of Pegasus. He would wait to do more until his new ships were on their way. While his city ships were laying defenses for the various worlds he got to designing some other automated drones. The automated probes and his version of the gate ships were successful so he thought why not combine the two. The gate ships could be controlled when close by an AI but something more long range was needed, and if it didn't need to carry passengers it could either be made smaller or have more drones. He decided to both make a more faithful replica of the Tauri puddle jumpers and to make an automated defense drone based off the probe. The gate ships would be simpler and more easy to produce than his faster than light versions along with shorter. The longer version had the faster than light engines along with a basic shield and the capability to refuel from gas giants. The short version would just rely on a cloak for defense and would drop the faster than light drives along with the ability to refuel. It would just have the six asgard version of the drones with the fast firing energy weapon. It would also recharge when docked and could be unmanned within range of an AI. The automated defense drones would be very similar to the probes earlier designed except they would add two drone weapons a piece and the probes already made would be slowly modified to do the same. They could be modified back at the city ships or the systems being developed but they couldn't readily do it to themselves but any new ones that were made could be made to the new specs by the old ones. This way they could in numbers even attack hives and cruisers. Thor also made sure that his various forms of technology would self destruct before being taken and would release acid upon their components if disabled and unable to be repaired. He couldn't have any of his technology to get into the hands of the wraith or other enemies. They would self destruct whenever there was a chance of it.

Thor also realized he needed soldiers as he didn't have numbers to fulfill the role and he didn't want to waste what people he had. He enjoyed star wars after Teal'c one day suggested it, and in fact he had the various AIs going over much of Earth's sci-fi fantasy material for ideas to adopt as he no longer had scientists and engineers. Some ideas looked promising such as tricorders and the regentative shields he was already utilizing, but what most appealed to him now was the idea of droid armies to make up for his lack of numbers. He decided to combine the basic battle droids with the idea of the IG bounty hunter droids from star wars. The basic battle droids would mostly serve as a distraction and to slow any enemies down while the more elite bounty hunter droids would take them out and serve as the special forces, snipers, etc. There would be two versions of the bounty hunter droids. The marine version which would use just the most basic metals along with basic carbon and silicon and the more elite troops that would utilize metals up to titanium and depleted uranium along with more use of carbon nanotubes and graphene. The marine version would make use of some strengthening of the metals with various forms of carbon but not like the elite versions. The elite ones would also have a basic shield and better more advanced AIs. Marine types would be commanded by elites and if enough was available each platoon of them would have an elite. The various droids wouldn't be exactly like the star wars ones but very close in appearance.

Just for added measure Thor also made some terminator like versions that would be rare but really hard to bring down. They would look like the T-800 or the T-888 from terminator and would be armed with miniguns, grenade launchers, and tactical nukes. They would use even more heavy metals such as titanium and depleted uranium for their endoskeleton with very heavy frames and extensive strengthening with carbon nanotubes and an out covering of the metal of heat resistant carbon allotropes. They would have android outer skin and clothes made from carbon such as graphene and other resistant forms of carbon and nanites for self repair of their carbon parts. They could temporarily also replace lost metal with carbon alternatives if needed. As Thor's army progressed there would be more and more of the terminator models but would be still complemented by the others. The bounty hunter elites would be basically as deadly and resilient as the terminators but couldn't blend in and as readily do other things with other races besides combat.

Thor needed troop transports now although he would also have these soldiers on all his ships just in case and could be deployed from them also. He decided to just make long versions of his basic gate ship that didn't have faster than light drives and basically use it like a bus in space. He would just store droids in the lower parts of city ships or in his systems. If they needed to get where a gate wasn't they could use his faster than light version even though they couldn't fit as many.

With this done he had his systems and city ships other than his make use of time dilation again to speed up the building of his army along with the systems building the ships they already were doing. He continued to use his to lay defenses. After this he would have his systems continue to expand to other systems and instruct the continuation of city ships to be built as they could be utilized for speeding up of colonization of other systems and as the main settlements that people could visit or inhabit. Thor decided to have the Tollans and Anise's offspring placed in one of the more developed systems with many AIs to guide them in learning all about asgard technology along with their own along with the use of a time dilation device set as fast as it could go. In a short time there would be plenty of people to inhabit many of his city ships and his legacy would be assured. He decided to just place himself in an android body much like Weir when his died. He wasn't sure however if he wanted it to look asgard which he felt most comfortable with or human so he could better blend in with his new society. Perhaps he would ask Weir what she rhki when she left the time dilation field the Tollans were in or perhaps he could just add his memories to a daughter of Anise's to preserve a memory of what his race was like.

While the Tollans were recovering their society within the time dilation device he decided to add time dilation devices to all of his larger ships (starting with the biliskner class) and bases so that in an emergency time dilation could be used to aid in escape or solving a problem. He would also make great use of time dilation from now on for construction both of ships and systems in general.

A few weeks later Weir was out with the new society that had risen from the ashes of the Tollan, the tok'ra, and the asgard. After talking with Weir he decided to do both. He would pass on his memories to a child of Anise, put his mind in an android body, and decided to also do the same for Elizabeth's memories and Narim's as he had backed up his mind before he went into the time dilation device. The one change that he did was he made it so they would pass on to all their children and if they mated with another of different memories the offspring would have both. Thor then put the new civilization back into the time dilation field for the same amount of time as the first time. When they come out they will be one race that combines the memories of the asgard, the Tollan, the Tok'ra, and the tauri.

After this was done Thor decided to take a breather. Many of the following generations would decide to put themselves in android bodies at the end of their life the same as Thor did he realized so when they get out he will have a new civilization of both the biological and the synthetic. Thor was worried about how to handle the Ori but funnily enough the Tauri had already taken care of it according to his intel and his new Tok'ra allies. That was completely unexpected for him. He knew he still should help many of the races there and the Lucian Alliance keeps popping up but soon he would be able to contact his friends and his allies the Tok'ra were already working on doing what he now couldn't. At the last moment before the had his new civilization go into the time dilation field he also included the memories of Sam, Jack, Daniel, Teal'c, Jonas, Mckay, Sheppard, Zelenka, numerous Stargate personnel that Thor met and liked, and what he knew of Lya. He didn't have all the memories of many of them, but he did have the memories of Sam and Jack. The others were based on the AIs based on them. The little girl whose Jack's memories were in was pretty funny, although she was kind of mad at me. She didn't know what to think of what he had done. She understood it but felt very awkward being in the body of a little kid let alone the gender thing. One of Anise's descendents said they would help her adapt as she had been through many lives and occupied many hosts. This almost scared the little girl as she remembered Freya's attraction to him so Thor used this to escape.

Thor felt better in his new body than he had in a long time. He decided to go with a human looking one so he would fit in. He had the AI extrapolate what he would have looked like as a human and went from there. Being so tall was weird for him though. But he had less problems than the child based on him did. His race had basically been genderless for many thousands of years but the child was not so maybe that is why the little kid had been so shy. Thor supposed it was because he wasn't used to much emotions but the child was full of them. He was anxious to see how they all turned out.

While they were going through another reiteration of the new lines of memories in the time dilation field he got to work with his new armies and ships. He sent through many troop transports and faster than light gate ships throughout much of the galaxy. He was both attacking the wraith and looking for Todd. Every now and then he would let some go with the knowledge he was looking for them. He would only do this with those who hadn't been culling. On the more dangerous assignments he would only send transports with the basic battle droids if no ships were available to provide cover. Better to lose them than some of the more precious ones.

Thor updated some of his technology that the people within the time dilation field. Some of it was just refining what he had but it did give him new cannons for his ships and phasing technology both for his drone weapons and to be used in conjunction with his cloaks. He also equipped all his droids with phasing technology which greatly improved their survivability and allowed them to bypass many things. It also made all his ships a much greater threat. The cannons were just being equipped to the bilinsker class and city ship for now along with some defense cannon and ground cannon versions. The ships would have anticapital ship ones and antifighter ones. The bases and worlds made use of the tok'ra tunneling technology. They would also make use of tunneling technology for missiles on the larger ships. These missiles would use faster than light drives, cloaks, phasing, and would come in versions that caused tunneling within the ships while others would utilize fusion or antimatter bombs.

With the intel gathered Thor decided to reclaim the downed city ship before the wraith did. There were also several downed wraith ships that he would collect to learn from. He would trade for the city from the people by proving to them that they could defend them from the wraith and by building them an elaborate city to replace it. He would put the city ship in a time dilation field to have it repaired to the standards of the asgard city ships. It would be a quasi ancient asgard ship what that would need to be slightly larger than it was originally in order to have enough of the various subspace capacitors to make up for the loss of the ZPMs and the need to compensate for parts of their technology that they don't have or know how to fix. They should be able to get much of the database though to improve their knowledge. Maybe they can later do an exchange with the Tauri for the missing pieces for anything they have that Atlantis doesn't.

The people were happy to make the trade and two city ships were brought to aid in its recovery and to build the city and the world's defenses. Now with the Tollan cannons available, Thor started placing them on the worlds with defenses under cloak and phased to protect the human populations. They would be protected even though they didn't know it. On the world with the city they were shown the cannons before they phased.

It was time to make contact with the Tauri. Thor knew that they were aware that someone was out there but they didn't know who. He transferred his mind back to his old body temporarily so that they would know it was him. He went through the stargate to a nearby system with a bilinsker class ship to head to Atlantis. When he was within range he made contact to let them know it was him. At first many were concerned it was the Vanir but Sam recognized him. He was bringing Weir with him. He decided he missed his old body so after this he would put himself in an android based on his original body as it just felt right.

They were both surprised and worried when he brought Weir into view, but once they understood she was no longer a replicator they relaxed. He docked and beamed over closer to the main tower. Mckay, Sheppard, and the rest were ecstatic to see Weir while Sam was excited to see Thor. SG-1 along with Jack also were coming from Earth. He told them all that occurred and asked if they could collaborate on both city ship's data bases. Thor also offered to repair much of Atlantis and to provide them with subspace capacitors in order to make up for the lack of ZPMs. Between all the offers Jack was more than able to make the deal. Thor knew Jack would have wanted to give them access regardless, but he knew Jack needed a reason he could give the IOA.

As soon as the downed city ship was finished it would head this way. For now Thor's city ship is almost to Atlantis. The meeting was interrupted when Atlantis's sensors picked up a huge ship heading this way. Thor usually has his ship travel while cloaked but he had it come this time purposely while uncloaked for then to pick it up. Thor had picked up more of a sense of humor since he met Jack.

Elizabeth knew what he was doing and his sense of humor so she couldn't keep a straight face when the news broke about it being detected so the shock only lasted for a moment but it was worth it. Thor then informed them that there was no need to worry, it was just his city ship coming to visit, and as long as it was ok they would reside by Atlantis with the other ship to work on the knowledge of the ancients and the knowledge of the asgard that the Tauri already knew. He didn't feel he had the right to share the knowledge of the Tollans and the tok'ra without their consent.

Thor would have defense cannons also added to the mainland and numerous defense satellites put in the system if they went for a stronger alliance. Jack and the others were shocked that Thor had a city at all let alone one that appears to be bigger than Atlantis. Once that was done Thor admitted he had a lot of city ships, other ships, and he had brought back both the Tollan race and the Tok'ra. Jack was less enthused when Thor admitted that many had Jack's and Sam's memories, although he felt better when he heard about the first one being frustrated about being a little kid again. Sam wanted to see Narim again but Thor told her how the original one had died when he went into the time dilation field although he had a long happy life and that she could meet those who carried his memories and descendents.

Everyone was shocked when they watched Thor's city ship land as it seemed huge when it did even though it was only a third larger. It would also utilize a geothermal plant beneath it if it stays along with the other city ship. Thor broached the topic when it landed and they all agreed as it would let them work together and give them much much more security. He had his city ship extend an umbilical to Atlantis and had their outer transporters linked. He then instructed his ship that was docked at Atlantis to carry on with what it had been doing before it was side tracked.

After all that he contacted his city ship and had it reverse dialed the tok'ra to send Selmak and Lantash here so she could see Sam. It wasn't her father but the child had many of her father's memories. Sam was first surprised that Selmak and Lantash were alive again but then was shocked that you could reverse dial. Thor reminded Sam that the black hole powered the star gate at the other end also.

While those three got reacquainted, Thor had the now completed city ship first stop and pick up people from his civilization that now had exited the time dilation field and then came on their way to Atlantis. They would occupy both Thor's city ship and the newly repaired one. When they got here they would extend umbilicals to the two other city ships, link the outer transportation booths, and as the umbilicals can also be used to transfer data, all three ships would fill in each other's blanks. This would be as close as they could get to the ancients' legacy being complete unless someone could survive a download from the repository of knowledge. He had already received word that the descendents of the Tollans were fine with sharing each other's knowledge as the Tauri were already advanced and it could do little harm. They also said they didn't believe as they once did anyways after their ancestors got to experience roughing it.

Mckay and Zelenka were excited to see Borealis coming in for a landing. Thor also had another city ship come to pick him up as he was leaving his here and would gate between his old one and this new one. He also had put ring transports also in his cities because they worked better when there was interference and because his allies used them also. So he went over to his city ship and ringed up to the other city that was laying down satellites and defenses. This city already had people on it from the new civilization and was abuzz with activity. He went to one of the nanite labs to design and make his own body that would be like Weir's. Then he headed to one of the stasis pods and had his mind transferred again. Hopefully he wouldn't have to do that again for a while.

He wanted to get to work on a few of the things he still felt needed improvement. He had much of the power of the ancients but in some ways he fell short. Mostly he needed to make up for the lack of ZPMs. The subspace capacitors were great but he needed something that could work within hyperspace. The Tollans had redesigned his city ships slightly to allow for much bigger capacitors so that they now had twice the storage capacity of the old capacitors but they still ran out too fast. He would like to use ZPMs in addition to the subspace capacitors and the regular capacitors that were charged by the subspace ones but it looked like that knowledge might be lost. Thor also needed to send out new seed ships to replace all the older style of stargates with a modified version of the Pegasus gates. He wanted them to be powered by subspace capacitors so they would have a greater range than the ones currently. The ultra low power ones wouldn't run out of energy and had the power of a naquadah generator instead of a DHD.

Thor decided to fix both issues in somewhat the same way. He would create construction drones that would act like seed ships but some would also be made to instead make space stations, habitats, and outposts after they made power stations throughout their systems while the rest would go about upgrading all the old gates (first in the three galaxies but then would move on from there) and make his style of super gates for travel between galaxies. The super gates would be the last thing constructed in a given galaxy and would be cloaked, phased, and shielded along with the ability to defend itself. Only allied races would be allowed to use them and they were not as big as the Ori super gates. Some of these super gates were already made in some of his systems. They usually had to be powered by a whole world in order to reach intergalactic distances.

The power stations would begin as power stations, but as needed could be expanded into space habitats and space stations as needed. Outposts would also be made in the middle of nowhere in deep space and by black holes where manufacturing and power stations would also be. These power stations would be made of low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors that would be used to power energy matter converters to make antimatter and rare elements as needed. Power stations would also be close to the stars to make use of the solar power and radiation. Thor would replace the ZPMs with antimatter like he originally slowly planned to do with his city ships. He would expand this to all his bigger ships of the size of the bilskirnir class or bigger. He would put antimatter reactors along with the antimatter but design the ship so if it was about to blow unless overridden it would go out of phase to not cause destruction. Certain instances would actually be advantageous for the ship to blow and take out the enemy with them.

With all these changes he modified the bilinsker class to also have intergalactic hyperdrives in addition to the faster than light drives. Thor also modified the design of his old ship that preceded the bilinsker class and planned to use it as their frigate and destroyers. They would usually be powered by the low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors along with fusion reactors with the ability to refuel in gas giants but he decided to bring down the size of an antimatter reactor so he could put both types of drives on the ships (hyperdrives and faster than light). A lot of the time his warships could refill their own antimatter while not using their hyperdrive after the initial fill.

His city ships and systems continued to expand and he decided to give them more free reign to do so as long as they were sticking to uninhabited systems (by any life) in the galaxies and beyond. Thor also was getting tired of dealing with the wraith so he gave his generals more free reign, told Todd to hurry up transitioning wraith with Michael's research, and told Teal'c to invite the free Jaffa to fight an enemy that feeds off of people. The free Jaffa were getting restless now and he had super gates that would allow them to come to Pegasus. After they were done with the wraith he told them he would aid them in bringing the fight to the Lucian Alliance.

Heading back down to Atlantis, Thor had been made aware of Destiny's predicament, so Thor told them that he was able to dial both ways from some of his systems using the combined power of the world. He told them to gather up supplies and men but he would currently open the gate and send them preliminary supplies and repair bots after the SGC made them aware. He would also have them send an address of a nearby gate where their descendents were left. Thor would not leave them to fend on their own and he wanted to end rh berserker drones.

Thor sent many ultra low power subspace capacitors along with some of his people and their technology to start the repairs of the ship. The energy matter converters would aid the repairs along with the repair bots and nanites that were brought aboard. Repair materials, food, and supplies would be sent at regular intervals along with new people. Others were allowed to come back if they so choose. Thor would like to make a super gate at both ends but it was not easy as it took so much energy for even a regular stargate. The only thing he could do was have the crew of destiny stop on a system where Thor would have a system basically fully developed with a time dilation device. This way there would be city ships and infrastructure to support them. The same would also be done for their descendents where they were in the galaxy. When destiny did continue on its journey it would be accompanied by several city ships and would never have to worry about security again. Thor's versions of seed ships that were construction ships would proceed from this part of the universe in all directions also to replace or place for the first time stargates. They wouldn't likely keep up with destiny but they would fill in some of the blanks left from destiny. The database was also downloaded to everyone's databases. It was hoped that it would let them find new allies and watch out for potential enemies.

As systems were developed and expanded, the more developed systems started to have their city ships upgraded to the best technology regardless of the elements needed. This would only be done after they were fully established and sending out city ships to expand to new systems. The ones sent out would not be based on the best technology but rather the largely carbon and silicon based technology other than the rare elements needed. This would allow for longevity and a strong backbone, besides once developed rare elements were not hard to come by once numerous power stations were made. Outposts were also pumping out lots of antimatter and rare elements since time dilation was used to build them to begin with. The time dilation fields greatly accelerated absolutely everything.

To further help their allies in addition to building the new frigates and destroyers Thor's race was doing he instructed twelve upsized daedalus class ships to be made with low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors providing the power, faster than light engines instead of hyperdrives (the faster than light drives were about equivalent to how fast the Tauri could go without ZPMs anyway) and made using carbon nanotubes instead of the rare elements. Thor would have given them the antimatter reactors but that was really dangerous technology if not handled properly so he felt it was best for now to let them learn with what they have.

Thor planned to give the Tauri upsized daedalus class ships at regular intervals if they could man them. He also planned to help clean up Earth and to help modernize it. But first he would help them with medicine and go from there.

Thor decided to build some even larger city ships. They wouldn't be taller, just a lot bigger snowflake. He decided to make them three times as big as his current city ships. For now all these would be based on the mostly carbon and silicon technology. They would need a lot more subspace capacitors. They still could only have the same number of larger ones in the main tower but the tower at the end of each pier would also each have four full sized subspace capacitors. There also would be a lot more of the smaller types spread throughout along with the antimatter and fusion reactors being more numerous with more storage. The city ships would also have five times the drones of a normal city ship. Unlike the other city ships which would be all over with multiple ones per system and eventually per world, there would only be one of these per system as they take much longer with much more materials to be built.

Thor then decided to make one city ship that would be the largest of all. It would be ten times the size of a normal city ship with the central portion actually being one of the first fully upgraded city ships that could detach from the rest if needed. It would be similar to the city ship that was three times the size as normal but would have as many more subspace capacitors of the various sizes scaled to a city ship that was ten times the size. The piers would also have a tower every so often to contain four of the larger subspace capacitors, and the ship would have a lot more fusion and antimatter reactors and storage. This city ship would only ever be able to land in the largest of oceans. The one that was three times the size of the normal city ship would take over a hundred years to build real time while the largest one would take over a thousand real time. So he once again put them under time dilation to get done but for the largest one he provided much more power than normal to the time dilation device to get it done within a reasonable time. He thought it would prove useful to aid Todd in showing the various hives that they had no chance.

A couple weeks later Thor came to Atlantis by stargate to show them his new toys. He requested Jack to be here also. First he had several of the new frigates and destroyers come. They only varied with how heavily armored with the cannon part they were. Then he had the twelve upsized daedalus classes come to be presented to Jack with the understanding more could be made as crews were ready from time to time. But Thor wanted them to continue to build stuff on their own also so he said he would only provide them as new crews got experience on regular daedalus class ships and therefore more needed to be made. Jack was especially excited when he realized the first ship was the Enterprise. He finally had an Enterprise as he wanted. Then Thor had the first upsized city ship come to land and join them. It was already crewed and came to rest not far from Atlantis. It too extended its umbilical and linked outer transporters.

They wanted a tour of the bigger city ship which Thor obliged until he decided he wanted to show them the real prize and uncloaked the new capital city ship. Everyone was absolutely stunned, but even more so as it descended and came to a rest. Thor had it extend the umbilicals to his other upsized city ship and linked the transporters once again but made everyone aware that the capital city ship would often come and go as it was to be often used. When it was it would phase as to not cause such a disturbance while ascending. Thor decided to have a capital one also built out by destiny's decendents along with replacing the three city ships accompanying destiny with three upsized city ships just to be safe. He also did this because then the piers could accommodate even Destiny docking.

Having inspected destiny it was decided to build modified versions of destiny to be manned and unmanned for scientific, diplomatic, and exploratory reasons. Thor would also give his allies the Tauri, the tok'ra, and the free Jaffa several also for the same reason. All of them would be mostly based on how destiny was made but again be mostly carbon and silicon based while commanded by an AI for any defense reasons or tactics as civilians would often be on board. Normally the crew however would be in charge. They also would be equipped with near replicas of the puddle jumper besides what it was made of and that the drones would be the asgard ones without phasing ability in addition to the original shuttles so they could be used for missions through the gate. The ship would have some of the various rooms switched to storage for the several puddle jumpers and larger gate room to accommodate the puddle jumpers.

Thor's manned version would also utilize low power and ultra low power subspace capacitors, energy matter converters, asgard transporters, nanites for repair, and phasing and cloaking technology. The allies version would also have the cloaking ability but not the phasing.

Thor's unmanned ones would be more like the seed ships except they would have a cloak, be made of the more basic materials, and have a self destruct. They would head off into space to explore as destiny did while under cloak in all directions. Instead of making and depositing gates they would produce and send out the simplified versions of the probes first used by Thor. They would self-destruct if disabled or unable to escape to protect their limited technology. The unmanned ones that were like seed ships would also drop subspace boosters while they travelled to enable the probes and the ships to remain in contact both for exploration reasons and to prevent a runaway effect if they start to deviate from programming.

Having set all this up, Thor took Sam, Elizabeth, Jack, Sheppard, and Mckay along with him and his capital city ship out to meet Todd. But first they would drop by to visit the Genii to let them know how screwed they would be if they tried anything again along with showing we are allies with Radim if he maintains the peace to help prevent him from being taken out. It was rather funny seeing Radim's reaction after he was beamed aboard with their top leadership to have a discussion. First he noticed that there were many thousands of people there, and second he was shown how their planets were being protected by Thor's defenses, satellites, and cannons. He was also informed that droid patrols would also be placed on all their worlds and throughout the galaxy for the humans' protection. Their dream of domination over Pegasus and using others was over. They stood no chance and had enemies at the gate if they acted out.

Thor then beamed down Radim's men after informing them that they were taking Radim along to see us humilite the wraith and make them submit. After returning to orbit Thor had two upsized city ships along with four upgraded regular city ships there to accompany them to a stop in one of the more developed systems while on their way to meet Todd. Thor was having Todd meet him in that system on purpose so that he could see the might of the so called Lanteans (what the Tauri were known here as) new allies. It was known that the wraith knew this system was just a dead system not long ago after they wiped out all life so it was perfect for showing the manufacturing abilities too.

When Thor got there with his ships the twelve upsized daedalus class ships were there with Todd's two super hives. Thor informed Todd immediately after hailing him that he was being beamed aboard to discuss their new alliance. Todd was shocked for so many reasons. First his jammers were still up, second, he knew this was a dead system just a little while ago, and third, he could not believe the number of city ships much like Atlantis that withstood a siege for years let alone the massive ones that were far larger than Atlantis.

Radim was just as shocked as Todd because first he found out that this had been a dead system, and secondly the wraith were completely outmatched and overwhelmed by Thor's people. Thor had Radim sent home through his stargate after this along with the first of hundreds of follow up droids that were already on the planet from after they had left. The Genii knew they could do nothing to oppose the droids but noticed that they left them alone as long as they behaved.

Todd was ready to leave soon but first he was let known that after the war him and his people would be taken to Thor's home galaxy where they blew up their planet (not the original galaxy) to live by travelling through one of the super gates here as thankfully their ships were more long and wide. His super hives would need to be towed there though since they wouldn't fit and while they could make it there their ships would use up much of their ZPMs to do it.

The travellers were here for all of these interactions as Thor had made contact with them through Sheppard. Thor wanted to repair their ships for them and set them up with a planet of a friendly race that they could ally with and be equipped with shipyards that could allow them to continue their civilization and way or life. Thor had contacted the people he obtained the downed ship from to start a new alliance. Thor's people would aid training both races in the operation of new shipyards and he would set up trade between them so that the travellers could maintain their lifestyle of living in space as after so many generations they had grown accustomed to it. Thor intended to have his people mentor both races while under time dilation so that they could be a coalition of advanced races to help guide the galaxy much as the Lanteans did prior to the wraith after the ancients ascended. Thor would maintain a presence here but would probably mostly focus elsewhere after this.

Larrin of the travellers was astounded by all she saw and knew Sheppard was right. She would advise her people to take the deal. They headed out with their many ships in a massive hyperspace window towards the various hives and wraith spread throughout the galaxy. Not many resisted but many tried to flee immediately upon seeing the massive hyperspace window and the massive ships. The few that did resist met their end when the large city ship just plowed through them without firing a shot with no visible damage. The other hives usually immediately compituated after that. Todd's race grew and even had many females being converted so they wouldn't eventually die out. For the first generation each female would have multiple male partners, but that may become the norm period as the wraith usually had few females.

The Free Jaffa had also come along for all this but they were disappointed that they didn't get to fight more. They did get to do a few fights when they first came through though and they were outmatched but protected by Thor's bilinsker ships when their shields would start to fail. Not many Free Jaffa ships were lost but the wraith also didn't see them as much of a threat and focused on the asgard ships. These ships were only manned by droids unless they were behind the main fleet as the hives could cause their shields to fail and many did. However with time dilation they were easy to replace while the wraith had a harder time. It was the reverse of the last war the wraith faced. A couple times the wraith boarded the ships and we're shocked to not find people but rather machines. That is when they first showed fear before they saw the big city ships.

After this was done and Todd's people and his ships were on the way Thor decided to go to the galaxy of Destiny's descendants now that the capital ship is done. Thor for fun though had Todd's super hives towed by just frigates using an antimatter reactor to supplement its power to fastly tow them in faster than light travel. He did this again just to show how outclassed they were. These frigates were not the normal frigates though as he had them upgraded slightly just to be safe but Todd didn't need to know that. As far as he knew the smallest ships were just that powerful.

Now that Pegasus was settling down he sent many of his warships and had the many city ships in the milky way go about completely dismantling the Lucian Alliance and demonstrating to the rest of the Jaffa that they needed to behave and rejoin the human races of the galaxy. The tok'ra also helped but they were quite protected due to their current low numbers. Thor felt he might need to have some of Anise's descendents head there to help get them over it.

Thor stepped through the gate from one of his systems with Colonel Taggert to his capital ship in the drone galaxy. He had used a time dilation device to help destiny's descendants recover from their losses. He had some of his own people join them to help guide them and because he knew that they would become part of his people while under the field. When they came out many of the people were excited to bring back the fight to the drones. Thor had them utilize his race's version of destiny to help carry it out. They didn't have combat experience and so the AI being mostly in charge would be a good thing. The colonel would be leading them and their ships while also keeping them out of the danger spots. He would be in charge of a destiny style ship crewed by droids. In fact there would be several destiny style ships crewed by droids to ensure he remains safe also.

They went about the galaxy and mopped up in quick order but it didn't appear like they originated in this galaxy. Sadly they also discovered many remnants of civilizations that had been wiped out by the berserkers. Thor let the colonel take his ship along with the other android ones and many of the new seed style ships to try to track down where they came from and eliminate them all. The colonel was joined by more people from Earth and Thor's people.

Thor then took his capital city ship and went and caught up with Destiny. Thor showed the crew of destiny his new class of ship and let them have some r and r on it for a few days. He then went on ahead along the projected path of Destiny and dropped off many probes to aid them and allow them to know which places they might want to check out. He instructed the two upsized city ships to continue to do this while having two of the four upgraded city ships lag behind to check out places that merited more study than destiny could allow. Thor had the various city ships start to use their docks to make the more of the seed style ships with half actually to be sent out to upgrade gates in all directions from where they were while dropping the subspace boosters and the other half doing the same but with the probes again. Between the seed style ships and the construction ships, many of the gates would start to be replaced in all directions all over the universe. Thor had made one last change to the new gates. He included sensor packages on them so they would provide information about their immediate area down the line just like the probes do.

Thor also had construction type drones be sent out from the drone galaxy to also aid in the upgrading of gates, the production of probes, and the construction of super gates as they fanned out. They would also drop the subspace boosters along the way especially between galaxies. The seed style ships could do many things but were not as versatile as the construction drones, however they had faster drives.

Next Thor decided to head back to his original capital city ship after telling the capital city ship to keep going with destiny and helping the two up sized ones by being at the head of where destiny is traveling to while the other two will be at the ten o'clock and the two o'clock of their path. The big capital ship would be slightly farther away from destiny than the other two. Thor then ordered the drone galaxy to make another capital city ship. Thor decided each galaxy that they had more than a passing presence in that they should make a capital city ship soon into the development of the galaxy. Thus his home galaxy and the milky way were now going to build one.

Thor decided to expand into parallel universes where there was no great risk identified. He would send his version of regular city ships to universes that didn't appear to have the Ori or replicators currently present. He would send copies of himself and those who had been uploaded into android bodies that he knew he could trust. Thor and his allies have begun to have luck with what they are looking into when it comes to the ancients. So far most of it has just helped Thor and his allies to upgrade and refine what they already have. But it is giving them a deeper understanding of how things work. They now better understand how the drones and zpms work even if they don't have the exact way that the ancients made them. Thor could probably make them if he set his mind to it even if they weren't exactly the same. Thor didn't care to make more of the ancient drones that used many rare elements, but the zpms would still prove useful even if he has alternatives. He will probably just utilize them if he comes across them in parallel realities, and that is what he did. It didn't take very long to come across a universe with the way known to some of their allies in that universe. He traded with them the plans for making subspace capacitors for the way to make and design zpms. The allies knew how to make zpms but not how to charge them while Thor knew how to charge them.

Thor also decided to scale up and down the zpms. Mostly he would scale them down as they were just more easy to deal with then. The larger the zpm the greater the power needed to punch into that artificial pocket of subspace to charge them. It would also make the maximum amount of energy available at any given moment higher if it was larger but that rarely was needed. Thor decided to make three sizes of zpms: mini zpms, micro zpms, and regular zpms. He just didn't think he had a purpose for larger ones right now and if destroyed larger ones would release dangerous amounts of energy. Thor would eventually have three zpms on the regular city ships like Atlantis originally had and scale up from there. The one that was three times as large would have three times as many zpms while the largest one would have ten. For now they would be empty and charged with excess energy when not needed as it would take quite a few years to charge them. The micro and mini zpms would take less time but not exactly be fast to charge either. The beliskner class ships would have six micro zpms that they would charge with excess energy, while the frigates and destroyers would have three of them. The elite droids and terminator would utilize mini zpms that would charge now from the ultra low power subspace capacitor they each used. The ships smaller than the frigates and destroyers would slowly charge mini zpms also. The largest of these would use three while the smallest would use one.

Thor decided to take out the antimatter reactors from each ship as their zpms reached a certain charge and only use the antimatter now for antimatter bombs or stations where space wasn't at a premium as it freed up a lot of space for other things. It mostly helped freeing up space on the city ships by eliminating the massive storage containers and reactors. It would help on the warships but not as much since space there wasn't at a premium there with mostly droids being on warships.

Thor decided after the war with the wraith that he needed larger warships than the beliskner class to take on ships like the hives. He decided to create an upsized version of the beliskner that would be a battleship. Thor would have it be three times the size of the beliskner, utilize three zpms like a city ship, and have upsized cannons and beam weapons along with just more of the other types of weapons the normal class usually has. He also added wraith style heavy weapons after finding them effective in taking out the beliskner class ships.

Thor knew after making larger ships that these wouldn't fit through his super gates. So far the super gates made hadn't made use of black holes which is why they weren't as big as the Ori ones. They had utilized various other sources of power but mostly lots of subspace capacitors. He realized he could tap into the power of certain black holes by creating micro wormholes that would suck energy and matter from beyond the event horizon of certain black holes. With this he could create Ori sized super gates along with even larger ones at super massive black holes. The ones at the super massive blackholes would be harder to operate and would require a lot of computer power to calculate all the needed equations to create the larger and longer wormholes to reach far enough past an event horizon of a super massive blackhole. Because of this they would need a city ship always nearby to perform the needed calculations to power the gate. It would stay cloaked and phased to not be seen so as to not create a security risk. But these super gates would allow for whole fleets and city ships to pass through but not the largest of city ships other than at the largest of super massive blackholes. Only certain galaxies would have ones large enough to power a gate for the capital city ships. When not being used to power the super gates the super massive black holes and the ones at just regular blackholes would be utilized to charge zpms. They couldn't charge faster than in 6 months for the larger zpms but multiple zpms of various sizes could be charged at once. At the super massive blackholes it would be done at the city ship but at the others it would be done at power stations near the blackhole.

Once an alternate reality that was safe was established Stargate travel by blackholes would allow for travel between the realities without the need for taking a ship. This would even further speed up the development of the new reality. The Free Jaffa were anxious to take the fight to the goa'uld in other galaxies to free more of their brethren, and Earth was excited to have more trading opportunities with alternate Earths and allies. Thor was mostly excited for opportunities to learn and hoped to soon find realities where there were still ancients, furlings, and asgard. He hoped to bring back all three to this universe even though he was happy with his new mixed race. The Tok'ra were excited to find ones where their queen lived even if they now had a way to perpetuate themselves.

One of the more exciting or different realities so far was one where the Aschen weren't an evil race. In that one they freed the people of the goa'uld and formed a galactic federation. This group of Aschen didn't have the psychopathic nature this reality seemed to have while another interesting one was where it was instead the Tollans that freed the galaxy. Some of the Tollans descendents here we're quite excited to meet them, especially to see Narim there.

So far not too many realities had started to be developed, just these few interesting ones. The Aschen one felt obligated to come here to track down any remaining Aschen here and to attempt to bring back the people's this universe's Aschen wiped out. All of these realities so far were extremely impressed with the city ships and had never come across anything like it. In these realities destiny was one of the first places people tried to go whether it was to help tauri that had gone there or their descendents, or to go to a ship that wasn't yet explored. It was nice to get all these up and running and many had different discoveries to be made from the history of exploration. So far the message that destiny was tracking seemed the same which made sense as the realities started from the same place.

Even more exciting was reaching the various Atlantises of the universes. Many hadn't yet been discovered while others were sadly destroyed or overtaken by water. The ones overtaken by water would be restored and so would the downed city ship if possible. Many Pegasuses needed to be freed of the wraith but there was a few where Michael or Todd had been more benevolent and had helped Atlantis to get much of the freeing underway.

Finally after many months of looking, Thor found some realities with the great races intack. Most of the time it was just one race but if it was the ancients other races were more common. With these parallel reality allies he began to bring back the great races to this reality. There would be a new great alliance consisting of the ancients, the furling, the Tollan, the Aschen, the nox, the asgard, Thor's new mixed race, the Tauri, and the Tok'ra (the Tollan and the Aschen were of the parallel reali originally but decided to make a great presence here due to the allies here). The Free Jaffa were also involved but they were not yet ready and it was thought that they would likely join together eventually with the Tauri or Thor's race. It was decided that although the races would maintain their current places they would each colonize a galaxy of their own in this reality that didn't have much or any life to claim as their own. Other races would be present there too but those galaxies they would dominate there since it would be their new home galaxy. Thor then made a surprise and found a reality with friendly replicators of both types that he decided to make contact with (each was from a different reality). They ended up combining upon meeting each other and became yet another race that joined the great alliance in this reality and made a home galaxy for themselves. After this Thor searched for realities with friendly ascended ancients and Ori that interacted with the lower realms to ally with. Each claimed a galaxy here for the same reason. Between the friendly replicators and the friendly ascended ancients and Ori much knowledge was gained. The replicators had learned from many races over the years and the ascended ones had access to knowledge one could not obtain unless ascended. The ascended of this reality were upset at first with the new friendly ascended for interacting with the lower realms but once they found no harm was being done they joined with their fellow ascended with interacting though they didn't want to claim a galaxy for themselves and often just interacted and spent time with the friendly ascended ancients and Ori of the other realities. They especially liked interacting with the friendly Ori as it was so peculiar to them and allowed them to obtain knowledge that they didn't have.

Thor's race lost some of its prominence as the friendly replicators and the ascended were just more advanced but still prospered and grew. Thor was also looked upon highly for bringing this all about and was given a healthy body by his allies if he wanted to no longer reside in an android. He would return from time to time to his android body when it was advantageous but his new body was very long lived and wouldn't falter as fast as his old ones.

In one of the realities before he had found the living races he had found extinct versions of the nox and furling that left cities behind as the ancients had in this universe. These greatly expanded their knowledge which the later living and ascended allies added to more. With the non ascended the knowledge was more of going about things and technology in a different way while with the ascended it allowed Thor the chance to see the reasoning behind some things that one couldn't fathom in this level of reality.

Finally after many years the allies decided to either ascend their various allies or put in replicator bodies as their natural bodies came to an end. They didn't want to lose their friends. Now the great races were becoming more a combination of two races in the end instead of many as they slowly got ascended or made into replicators as they died. Those that were more scientific minded like Mckay and Sam tended to choose to become replicators while the others chose to ascend. Thor, Weir, Daniel, Sheppard, and Jonas ascended while Jack didn't want to do either but joined Sam to be with her. The biological races continued but would have many family members at the two end points of life. Every now and then those that had ascended or became replicators would return to bodies in order to have kids before ascending again. Usually after having kids people would choose to ascend instead to be better able to keep an eye on their descendents. This is what happened with Jack and Sam. The Nox had tended to do this for many years. It turned out that they were actually older than the ancients but preferred the living realm whenever possible. This is why they seemed to have ascended powers at times. They were just so evolved.

Thor went on to have many adventures. Every so often he would decide to go to another reality to explore that reality's destiny or interact with the various people. He continued to enjoy building up new realities and especially liked building countless city ships and designing new ships, space habitats, and space megastructures. He ended up finding out he preferred engineering and designing more than even being a commander as he used to be. Thor would get down and dirty to create space elevators, orbital rings, dyson swarms, space habitats big and small, spaceships, and warships. He preferred making ships like destiny over the warships though. But no matter what he would always return to his friends. They became his family after his race was gone and always would be.
