Ahem: a collection of stories for my little sister's birthday. I shall put my music library on shuffle and pair her top 10 ships with the first 10 songs. Each ship gets a story related to the song with decreasing times: ship #1 gets 10 min., ship #2 gets 9 min., ship #3 gets 8 min., etc. So ship #10 is a hot mess 1 min. panic attack.

You don't HAVE to listen to the song first...but you might want to. And author's notes are bolded.

1. Reylo (Star Wars) – "If I Had You" by Adam Lambert - 10 min. timer

OH EMAY HAY you have no idea how frustrating it's going to be to actually sort through all my music and accomplish this. BUT I DID, and, lolz, instead of getting the Little House on the Prairie theme song like I wanted, I got the song that you were JUST SAYING was a Reylo song. (also, I had terrible sleep last night, THANKS DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME and whatever sadistic person invented your existence, so not only is this the first thing I've written in six years, I'm also sleep deprived. this shall be wonderful)

"I did want to take you hand." She paused. "Ben's hand."

"Really?! You would marry me?" His hand shot out and grabbed...her lower arm, not quite her hand but maybe just as good.

"Um." She hadn't meant for this conversation to continue. She had meant to make a clean getaway. Leave him with time to think about-

"Okay!" He smiled like a giddy little boy and promptly chucked his lightsaber into the water. Then his eyes appeared troubled for a moment. "Please don't kill me? I don't have a weapon anymore."

He then proceeded to remove the multitude of black leather he was wearing, and – oh, Force – he was stripping.

"You-you would give all this up?" she choked.

He halted before he got to his shirt.

"Of course. None of this matters if I have you."

"But...the-the dark side-"

He waved his hand dismissively.

Dismissively?!

"There's such a thin line between the dark side and the light side."

Since when?

"I have too much light in me to truly be dark, and you have too much dark in you to truly be light. Instead…" The giddy grin was back, and it was contagious, and she couldn't help but start to smile back. "We'll be both selfish and selfless at the same time."

"Oh?" Her thought processes had come to an utter halt. She would let him do all the talking.

"We'll abandon absolutely everything that doesn't involve the two of us and instead focus solely on raising our babies."

Kriff, he was insane, he was mental, he was-

"Didn't you want to be Supreme Leader? Have a throne? Rule the galaxy?" she sputtered.

"The galaxy doesn't have pretty brown eyes."

Now she was blushing, something she didn't think herself capable of doing, and maybe he wasn't so crazy after all.

"Are you going to...to trash up the rooms of our house in a rage or something whenever you're upset?" She was only half-joking; maybe she could provoke him to anger again and get him back to normal.

He shook his head.

"No. If I had you, that would be the only thing I'd ever need."

OH, GOSH, I JUST REMEMBERED THE HARDEST PART OF WRITING, my upper arm is like pulsating in pain, this is a literal workout, why do I insist on handwriting everything first.
