So, there is this new game called Balan Wonderworld...I'm obsessed with this game. It's a feel good game that tells how to find happiness even in the hardest of times. Not to mention it is created by the same people who made 'NiGHTS' the FIRST video game i won and got the secret ending on. SO, this go me thinking how this could help with a certain Rusher going through the RINGER with all that's been going on in Washington. Thus, this story was made.
I hope you all enjoy :)!
Balan Wonderworld: The Rusherz ACT
Act one: Entrance
Chief was TIRED. Tired of all that has gone on in Washington, tired of the yelling and cursing...HE WAS TIRED. Not only that his injury to his head was not healed up yet. Since January and...falling trying to stop the incident, Chief received a head wound on the left side, which he knew needed stitches, that he was covering from the others. If he didn't hid it well...he could imagine the ANGER coming from his friends and brother. Arrow-Head would be ready spear in hand along with Lasso to arrest those who had done this, which would just cause more problems for everyone. As much as he didn't want to keep them in the dark, he knew that it would spell disaster if they heard of why he got the wound. So he was silent about it, for three months. Needless to say it was beginning to show that something was wrong, the wound had open so many times and bleed through the gauze he was nearly caught. Hence where he was at this moment, walking around the evening streets avoiding anyone who might noticed him swaying as he walked.
Chief: *Bit daze* Come on Chief, you had much worse injuries than this...-sighs- I need a vacation. Anywhere, anywhere without having to hear about that day...
Chief stopped when he saw what looked to be a red fluffy bird scooting on the ground in front of him.
Chief: Am i hallucinating?
Curious, he followed the bird into the alleyway that lead to the abandon theater...which was open?
Chief: Wait...didn't this theater closed centuries ago. They didn't tear it down for...*shakes his head* I-can't remember...
Chief slowly walked over, his head ringing as he felt something drip from his face, touching it he see that the wound had open up.
Chief: A-Again...
Chief opened the door and closed it as he went it...then-
thump!
Panic, that what was going on. The small creatures bounced around him in fear after the Rusher collapsed. They were chirping as one of them, the red one that Chief had followed, succtering off to their Maestro. It made it to a room and chirped loudly to a tall, lean being dressed in white, charcoal, gold and red. His white top hat with a red mask turned to the small creature, revealing a black skinned yellow eyed being, his neon green locks swaying as he grinned.
Maestro?: Ah, there you are! I was wondering-
The creature peeped up to his face, revealing the fear in it's eyes...enough to make the Maestro grin fall into seriousness.
Maestro?: What happened? Where are the other Tims?
The creature, Tims as they was called, peeped as it lead the Maestro to the front door. A large gathering of Tims was there chirping till their Maestro went over. He knelt down and silently gasped seeing the Rusher on the ground, a head wound bleeding through.
Maestro?: Poor Rusher, how did this happen?
The Tims chirped, not knowing the answer themselves. The Maestro looked closely at the unconscious Rusher, before taking a breath and waving his hand over Chief's chest. His heart formed above it...which made the Tims shivered and the Maestro eyes widen a bit. He has seen many inhabitants come in with missing heart, but there were those who had come in with sacred, wounded or worse...broken hearts. This was now sadly the case for the Rusher in his building as he heart had cracks, a large broken piece of it missing. It had a dim look to it as well.
Maestro?: Great-In all my years this is the most severe case of a broken heart I have seen...
A thought came to him, then he sighed.
Maestro?: Of course the recent events must have taken a heavy toll on his heart...but, this wound *gently touches it* is new.
He gently lifted Chief up in his arms, a small moan following.
Maestro?: This is going to be my toughest guest yet...but, we've had gone though the worse of worse. First things first, getting that wound stitch up.
The Maestro hummed a though as he walked to a bedroom. Perhaps a bit of a trip through the magic world of stories might be the help this Rusher needed...after all he was the Maestro of his theater so going though some old fairy tales to ease the mind should help. He was Balan after all, and this Rusher was going to get the show of a lifetime.
In the shadows, a being watched the scene.
?: How sad...how cruel humanity can be towards these being who came to them for help...Balan, your going to be playing with fire with the darkness that comes after him.
He went back into the darkness, keeping an eye on the two...for now.
