Hi Everyone, so this will be my first solo story that I've written based on a hero my brother and I created but never got to use. I don't want to reveal much since it will be part of his story. The city made up is taken from a name in Final Fantasy X-2 as it is one of my favorite games. Pairings are still being decided, but it will be a harem story. Just don't know who to pair him up with at the moment. Please review and comment on what you think, and who you would like to see this young hero being paired up with.

In the rural area of Wingull City a 10 year old boy of average height with short ragged brown hair and hazel eyes was outside on a hill watching the night sky with his telescope while his family was nearby making a barbeque party. As the boy looked around he noticed something through his telescope. He noticed a bright blue light getting bigger until it started getting too big for his telescope lens. That's when he heard a large booming sound until he looked up and noticed a bright blue meteor coming down in his general direction.

Thirteen Years Later

A young 23 year old man was walking around Wingull City University with a large beige trench coat that was opened in the front revealing a normal plain dark blue shirt with normal jeans, a white-blue belt around his waist, and grey sneakers as he walked up the stairs. He was reading one of his text books in one hand when he heard someone call his name, "Ah Mr. Silva, good to see you catching up on your reading, but as every good engineer knows it's best to gain knowledge by getting your hands dirty."

Chuckle "Right you are Professor, but it also doesn't hurt to get back to basics. After all, you were the one who taught me that being an engineer means Lifelong Learning. We never stop-"

"And we always progress, good lad. But book smarts can only get you so much. You remind me so much of a younger me, Steve. Tell me, have you heard anything from STAR Labs about that internship?"

"Not yet professor, nor from Wayne Enterprises either. I do want to thank you again though for the letter of recommendation", replied Steve.

"Bah! They'd be fools not to listen to my recommendation after the years of service I gave them. Oh, By the way, have you heard about the new exhibit down at the Wingull City Museum? I hear Bruce Wayne and several other benefactors will be there to present the gallery, and personally present a generous donation to our university for the discovery we made. Here, I want you to go", said the professor handing Steve several tickets.

"Thank you professor, but wouldn't you like to go instead?"

"I'm too old, and besides I'd rather spend time with my grandchildren. You're young, take your family, or better yet, take out some girl you fancy. Bright young man like you is sure to have someone special. Now then, best be off", said the Professor as he kept walking on.

"Yeah…I'll be sure to do that", said Steve feeling a little dishearten about the tickets.

Wingull City Museum

Steve was walking around admiring the new exhibit from the Mars mission that was made two years ago. Steve, who always fantasized about going to space as a young boy, couldn't help but admire the collection of Mars rocks and the various photographs of its landscape. He continued to walk around when he noticed something that was slightly odd.

He noticed that there was an elderly looking man looking intensely at a strange looking rock that was found on the planet's surface. At first it would seem ordinary to anyone, but he noticed that his eyes kept shifting around. Steve kept himself slightly within hearing distance while pretending to read a pamphlet when he noticed a large dark skinned woman walking up to the man and started mumbling in some incoherent language, 'That's strange, I've never heard of a language like that before.'

Steve looked around noticing a restroom near the strange couple and decided to walk pass them to see if he could make out some words. As he walked pass them they seem to be aware of his presence despite the fact that he wasn't even near them, and stop talking until he was out hearing range again.

Steve entered the restroom and entered a stall when his whole body glowed with a faint icy blue glow until his whole body became intangible and phased through the wall. He appeared once again in the hallway invisible to everyone and approached the couple quietly. This time a middle-aged Asian man wearing glasses was with the strange couple, and the three continued talking in the same mysterious language. Just as he was about to approach the strange group they suddenly dispersed in different directions with the last member looking around as if searching for something, and walked off.

'Strange…could he have sensed my presence even though I'm invisible? And that language they were speaking. Something tells me I haven't seen the last of them. They seemed very interested in this rock as well. Think I might come back later tonight to check it out', thought Steve as he phased back through the wall.

Museum at Night

A lone figure with short white shaggy hair, piercing ice blue eyes, and four bird-like wings on his back. Two of his wings were folded in front, while the other two were draped behind him giving him a poncho cloak appearance, and a long feathered tail that ended in three large feathers near the end waving lazily behind him. Underneath his wings he had a dark blue kimono with white trims that has a diamond symbol with four wings around it on the back, a white obi, dark blue martial arts pants and shoes, fingerless gloves with a snowflake pattern on top, a one-winged light blue circlet on his head. Underneath his kimono he had a black, long sleeved shirt with the same symbol on the back as well.

The figure was able to phase through the building without setting off the alarm and quickly turned invisible once he was through, 'So far so good. Looks like it's been quiet. Better go check on that rock to make sure it's still there.'

He flapped his lower set of wings enough for him to hover above the ground and quickly rushed through the hallways towards the strange rock and perched himself on a beam just above it. After about an hour the strange trio from before appeared and once again started speaking in the same language.

'Well…guess now's a good chance as any to see if they can see me', thought the figure as he quietly dropped down from the beam and stood in front of the stone. The three strangers suddenly stopped talking and looked around as if they were suddenly startled, 'So, it's not that they can see me, but in a way they can sense me? Guess I've entertained my suspicions for now. Time for Azure Frost to enter the scene.'

Azure Frost was about to reveal himself he saw what appeared to be a black shuriken flew past him making one of the intruders to deflect it with their bare hands, 'Well that's interesting.'

Another figure jumped down from the ceiling revealing it to be a man in a bat motif outfit as he glared at the three strangers, "Guess you didn't learn the last time we met."

"Neither did you Batman", growled one of the strangers as they charged towards Batman.

'Batman? In Wingull City? Was it that they reacted because they sensed him or me?' thought Azure.

Batman quickly jumped into the air throwing two more baterangs at the floor near the old man and large woman while punching the third man. The two baterangs hit their target and exploded catching the two off guard. Batman quickly kicked the third man into the other two and threw three sets of bolas at them quickly tying them up, and sent out an electrical shock to knock them out.

'Well that seemed a bit excessive', thought Azure until he saw the three people quickly shift their body shape and instantly released themselves from their bolas, 'Then again I've been wrong before!'

Batman glared at the trio when one of them quickly shifted their arms into a blade like appendage and charged forward.

Clang

The stranger looked on in shock as his blade arm was somehow stopped in midair when Azure materialized in front of them holding what looked like a sword made of ice, "Well now, I see that you guys have some interesting abilities. Mind if I cut in?"

"I see you were smart enough to bring backup this time Batman", said the old man.

"Who? Me? Nah, I'm just a party crasher. But seeing as how you're about to disturb some of the exhibits here, I'm afraid I can't just let you go", said Azure.

"Fine then, we'll just kill you along with the Bat", said the large woman as she and the other two charged forward.

"Hey Bats, here!" yelled Azure creating a bo staff and tossed it to Batman as he created another ice sword charging forward parrying the large woman's sickle hand. Batman took the staff twirling it expertly as he charged at the two strange men. Azure managed to keep parrying the woman slicing her several times when he noticed that she kept bleeding a white type of fluid right before her wounds healed up, "Regeneration, that'll be a problem. Guess I'll have to stop you cold", said Azure as ice shot out from where he was standing and quickly encased the woman in a large block of ice.

"Ice puns? Really?" said Batman unimpressed while knocking back the large man and locking weapons with the Asian man's sickles. Batman managed to push back the Asian man, and kicked the large man back when he saw the a faint light blue glow that phased through him encasing him in ice.

Tch "Everyone's a critic", muttered Azure until he turned his attention towards the Asian man, "Your comrades are incapacitated! Tell us why you're so interested in that rock, and we'll go easy on you!"

"How cliché. Someone's been reading too many comic books", said an unimpressed Batman once again.

"Maybe so, but the fact that these guys gave you such a hard time means that you shouldn't be one to criticize another's actions. That being said, that also means I shouldn't lower my guard around these guys. I just got lucky since they didn't know what my powers could do", said Azure not removing his gaze from the man.

"So you can be self-aware of your actions and others. That's quite an achievement", said Batman.

"Geez, Even your complements sound like insults", said Azure in a deadpan voice as he threw one of his swords at the man that he easily dodge by partially splitting himself in half. Azure lifted his free arm and shot an ice beam causing the figure to quickly flatten his form into what looked like a white puddle then quickly reformed into a white blob shaped humanoid, and escape down the hall.

"Rookie mistake", said Batman as he ran after it.

"Says you! I noticed that baterang under your cape!" yelled Azure running after him.

The two heroes followed the slime down several corridors grabbing random objects to throw at the two setting off the alarms. Azure noticed the slime was turning into the new Mars wing and was heading towards that rock. However, before he could react Batman threw his baterang at the slime who was about to break the glass case and kept running until it quickly turned into a restroom.

"He wouldn't", said a shocked Azure grabbing Batman by his shoulder making both of them glow an icy blue color as they passed through the wall into the restroom instantly passing through a lot of stalls until they heard the toilet flushing.

"He would apparently", said Batman.

Ugh "That's just wrong. How did he even-You know what? I'd rather not know. We need to get out of here before the cops arrive. What do we do with the other two?"

"Strange, they didn't seem as strong-"

Crash

The two heroes heard someone breaking a glass case outside and quickly ran out of the bathroom when the noticed two more strange white blob people holding the rock until they held it up to a ventilation shaft and ran off towards the exit, "I'm guessing you were about to say they were holding back their strength."

Both heroes heard quick beeping sounds making Azure grab Batman once again as a large explosion set off destroying a good portion of the wing. Azure had managed to phase them through the explosion in the nick of time, and carried Batman to a nearby rooftop, "Looks like I still have a lot to learn."

"Of that we can agree on", said Batman walking away until he was stopped by an ice wall appearing in front of him.

"We're not done Bats. Based on what those creatures said to you, this isn't the first time you've encountered them. Now I don't know about you, but I for one would like to know what's going on especially when a bunch of slime people blow up a museum in my city", said Azure with Batman just glaring at him.

"This isn't your concern", said Batman walking in a different direction.

"It's about those security breaches at Wayne Tech institute, and that satellite facility explosion in Metropolis from last week isn't it?" asked Azure making Batman stop in his tracks, "No doubt that means that the University's discovery was also related to something that these things didn't want anyone finding out isn't it?"

"You're a lot more perceptive than I thought", said Batman facing Azure.

"If you're thinking that these things might target the University next, you're too late. An unknown hacker had managed to erase all the files about the discovery two nights ago. The University was up in arms and on high alert since then. They've even began installing new security protocols because of it."

"Protocols?"

"The hacker didn't bypass the firewall, he did a stand-alone hack. He managed to enter the server room undetected and erased every bit of data from the astrometric department. What the hacker didn't know was that a copy of that data was already handed over to the museum. Which as you may have guessed, has been destroyed by our guests", said Azure looking at the burning building with firefighters trying to quench the raging flames.

"So, are you gonna tell me what's going on, or am I just talking to myself because you already disappeared?" asked Azure until turning around to notice that Batman was still there, "Oh, You're still here."

"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Batman with Azure staring at him with a deadpan expression.

"Everything that you've said just summed it up. To be honest even I'm not fully aware of what's going on. All I know is that our friends here have been very busy. I've also intercepted something that recently came from a STAR Lab building that's been out of commission", said Batman ignoring the young hero's expression.

"Also in Metropolis I'm guessing. What does Superman have to say since that's his part of town?"

"He still busy disarming those nuclear bombs ever since Senator Carter passed his law at the UN", said Batman.

"Something isn't sitting right with me. All this seems too convenient, and the timing seems too-"

"Perfect? My thoughts exactly. I'm heading off towards STAR Labs tomorrow. If I were you I'd return to your classes and forget about this", said Batman walking away.

"Got that based off my information, did you? Makes sense since I did seem to know a lot about the University's workings. Must be nice to flaunt all that money around though isn't it?" asked Azure making Batman stop once again.

"If you stop and think about it, all your equipment, your gadgets, your belt, your toys, they all have a high cost value. Even if you were able to make them yourself, it'll still cost a pretty penny to make, even with just some of those equipment. But what really tip me off was the fact that you have a high degree military car and an actual bat shaped jet. You also happen to be here when some of the richest benefactors of Gotham come to visit the museum to present a generous donation", said Azure crossing his arms.

"Steve Silva, age 23, born in Wingull City all your life and currently attending as a student with a focus on Cyber Security while attending the Wingull City University. You currently have-"

"Alright! I get it! You've known about me for quite a while", interrupted Azure.

"I tend to keep track of all meta-human activities. Not just in Gotham", explained Batman as he faced the young hero.

"Makes sense, given that a lot of criminal activities do come from meta-humans who abuse their powers."

"Also wearing a large trench coat in a tropical climate region makes you stand out even more", said Batman taking a jab at the young hero.

"I'd like to see you try to hide two pair of wings that are as large as your body without your fancy money", gritted Azure stretching his wings to make a point, "I can't make random parts of my body invisible. Trust me I've tried and failed. I can only make myself completely invisible or visible, no side option. Even if I did, and was able to properly phase them through my shirts, I'd need to be focused on making sure they stay that way. Which is a bit hard to do while in the middle of a lecture or test", explained Azure with Batman silently staring at him, "Besides, that trench coat is a perfect replica of David Tennant's tenth Doctor Who incarnation. I worked hard to put in that commission."

"That explains the cliché lines", said Batman taking another jab at the young hero.

"I can see why you work alone, and it's not because of your work ethic. Anyway since you know who I am its only fair I get to take a shot in the dark at you…Bruce Wayne."

"Care to elaborate", said Batman slightly glaring at him.

"Wayne Enterprises was one of the few companies I wasn't able to fully get through their firewall, with permission of course. Wayne Enterprise's cyber security is up to par, or maybe even better than most companies including the government encryption files, also with permission. So to actually break through their security is no easy feat, even if you work with a talented group of hackers based on personal experience, so I know whoever did get past that firewall has some serious tech and skills. I know Wayne Enterprises also had some military contracts from the time Thomas Wayne ran the company. The fact that you, the famous Batman, mostly stayed in Gotham leads me to believe that you're a local though I couldn't tell if you were born there or recently moved there. I knew you had to have a lot of money from your expensive equipment, but that still left a lot of candidates. It was only until today that my suspect pool was shorten when you mysteriously show up just as several other benefactors from Gotham appeared to donate to the University. What stood you out was one simple thing from the others."

"And that was?"

"You've left a lot of broken hearts", said Azure confusing Batman, "You're too much of a loner. You don't trust anyone to really get near you. This led me to believe that you were no doubt some kind of playboy who likes to flaunt all the beautiful women he's dated to throw off suspicion. To be honest I took a shot in the dark with that deduction, but judging from your reaction I seem to hit it dead on."

"Too much guesswork and not enough facts to back it up", said Batman as a bat shaped jet appeared behind him.

"Look, I don't really care if you're Bruce Wayne or not. Nor do I plan to threaten you with it since it has nothing to do with me so your secret is safe with me regardless. There are all kinds of detectives out there Batman. Whether I'm right or not doesn't matter. What matters is what these things are up to, and how to put a stop to it. My classes can wait for now if the planet is in danger. You've seen what these things can do, and despite what's happened here today, I think it's proven that having some kind of backup against these things might actually be beneficial."

"You said it yourself. I work alone", said Batman launching his grappling hook to his jet as he climbed in and flew off into the distance.

"Yeah? I'd like to hear the explanation of Robin and Batgirl then", muttered Azure as he flew off into the opposite direction until he just remembered something, 'Now that I think about it I'm pretty sure I can forget about working for Wayne Enterprises anytime soon. Sigh Goodbye internship.'

Metropolis Two Nights Later

Azure was flying over Metropolis scouring for any sign of Batman or Superman, 'Where the heck is that building? Should I just yell for help to get Superman's attention? Nah, makes me sound weird.'

Azure landed on a nearby building with his wings drooping behind him, "So this is Metropolis. It's a lot bigger than I thought."

Boom

A large booming sound caught Azure's attention when he saw a large flaming meteor heading down towards a populated park. Azure quickly flew towards the impact area with all the speed he could muster until he saw a mother and her child in the meteor's path. He managed to grab both mother and child at the last second and quickly phased through the meteor as he moved them to a safe location, "Are you both alright?"

"Yes, thank you kind sir!"

"Get to a safe location. It's still dangerous to be near that thing", ordered Azure as he flew off towards where the meteor crashed.

"Bye birdy man", yelled the little kid at him.

He arrived again towards the park when he saw Superman hovering in midair with an injured Batman in his arms, "Superman! What happened to him?!"

"Who're you?" asked Superman to the new hero.

Crack

Boom

Both heroes saw a large leg emerge from the meteor and out came what appeared to be a large tripod with a large bulbous head, "Names Azure Frost! Nice to meet you! I'll distract that thing while you get Batman medical attention!" quickly said Azure as he flew towards the tripod.

"Wait! We don't know what that thing is capable of!"

Azure put his hands together glowing bright blue while emitting a large amount of mist. He separated his hands in a huge arc launching a barrage of ice spears at the tripod. The tripod kept walking forward as if nothing and launched a laser from its Cyclopes eye causing Azure to create a huge snowflake shaped shield. The laser instantly shattered his shield knocking him back into a building. Superman flew through the tripod's legs punching the large head as it turn its attention towards him and knocked him back as well with it's devastating laser into the same building next to Azure.

Superman quickly recovered by throwing away the debris around him with Azure phasing through his, "You have ice powers right? Do you think you could make a large ice crystal?"

"To reflect the laser, of course! I'll need some time", said Azure.

"I'll buy you as much as I can! Hurry!" said Superman as they both flew towards the tripod once again.

Azure landed on the ground as he shot ice beams from his hands creating a base for the large pillar and took a deep breath. He breathed out an icy wind creating a large pillar. Just as he finished creating his first pillar, he saw several jets along with batman's jet attacking the tripod. Superman kept dodging the tripod's laser when another meteor crash landed with another tripod popping out knocking him back once again.

"When did this turn into World of the Wars?" said Azure sarcastically after creating a second pillar.

He turned his attention towards the tripod and froze the floor underneath it to make it slide. The tripod became unbalance and launched its laser in the process hitting one of the pillars causing the laser to be reflected onto the second pillar and reflected back to the second tripod, "Yes!"

Crash

"No", said a disappointed Azure when he saw a third tripod destroy his pillars, Ugh "Why couldn't this be another radio prank?"

Before Azure could do anything he saw Superman fly off into the distance confusing the young hero. He quickly spotted Batman's jet noticing that the Dark Knight was also confused about this. He flew up just as Batman turned around and grabbed onto the latch of Batman's cockpit, "Hey Bats, I'm coming along if you're planning on following him, and I'm not taking 'no' as an answer!"

"You're acting like a spoiled child", commented Batman.

"Takes one to know one! Besides, I can't beat those things on my own. I've been having these weird dreams as well ever since the museum incident, and in those dreams were the creatures we fought with vivid images of an invasion. I think that's why Superman flew off into the distance", explained Azure getting Batman's attention.

"Get inside, and tell me everything you remember", said Batman with Azure phasing through the cockpit and sitting down behind Batman.
