Introduction
Happy Anniversary! It has been exactly one year since the final episode of Hawaii Five-0 aired in the United States. Can you believe it? I have been contemplating writing a final fan fiction for a while but none of my story ideas felt right. The ending was wonderful as it was. Steve and Catherine flying into the sunset, hand in hand, for television eternity. There have been some fantastic stories, written by some talented authors, adding on to and leading up to the finale. This is a little different. I recently read an article about the ending of LOST and it got me thinking. I had hoped LOST would end a certain way and of course it didn't, but what if Hawaii Five-0 ended that way. Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled with the ending. But what if? So, here is my last and final Hawaii Five-0 gift to you. I hope you enjoy it. It is meant to be both fun and meaningful, and a little bit sarcastic. Okay, maybe a lot sarcastic. There are a few Easter Eggs in there for you (especially for those who have endured the fandom since day one). Don't take it too seriously and please spare me the abC, McDanno bullshit comments.
