Chapter One
The Dog Days are Over
(so you better run)
GOTHAM CITY
JULY 6, 24:14 EDT
The night is quiet, empty of most of the action that takes place in the darkness of a city like Gotham. It has Rebecca restless, ready to climb the nearest wall. Apart from scaring a small gang away from an alleyway usually used by a couple of homeless people, and tying up a would-be mugger before walking his intended victim the rest of the block to her home, there is very little of the action that Rebecca is used to on work nights.
It's left her frustrated and unreasonably angry. After more than a month out of action she had hoped the night she finally found the courage to come out again would be more significant than this. That something would happen that could give her an answer to what she had been worrying and turning over in her head for the past few weeks.
But the night is peaceful and quiet and no revelations come to Rebecca throughout her quick and short patrol. So she climbs in quietly through her bedroom window, feeling lost and empty and tired, even when she had barely broken a sweat.
She's so lost in her own head, closing the window before tugging off her gloves, that she doesn't even notice the body on her bed until the lamp on her bedside table clicks on, the warm glow of the yellow light filling the room. It has Rebecca turning around, fists raised, until she registers the black leather jacket spread out on her comforter.
Meeting the blue eyes of her cousin, narrowed at her across the room, she lets out a breath, throwing her head back in a groan as she yanks her blue jacket off. "I know, I know. I'm sorry ok?"
Throwing the jacket across her desk chair and her gloves onto the table, she stomps over to her bed and sits at the edge, leaning down to unzip her black combat boots. She tugs at it sharply but all the zipper does is pull at the leather until it digs into her calves instead of unzipping. Groaning in exasperation she takes a deep breath before trying again, finally being able to cleanly pull the zipper down.
Her cousin, unconcerned with her mini tantrum, speaks up from behind her, "I've told you before, you aren't allowed to go out into the city unless I'm here with you."
"I know alright? But what was I supposed to do? Wait until you deigned to come in from Star City so we could patrol around here? Or wait until you thought one of your cases over there was safe enough to bring me in on?" She pulled her boots off her feet and threw them into the closet.
"Yes. The rules exist for a reason and you promised to follow them if I took you on as a partner."
"What's the big deal? I've been trained just as you have! You've let me go on cases without you before."
"Gotham is different from Star City, you know that. And doing cases at Star City, or with Roy, is different from going out on your own in Gotham. You're too young yet to be out there alone. What would you have done if you ran into one of the crazies out there? You know how dangerous it can be without anyone knowing where you are, without any backup ready."
Rebecca could hear the strain in her cousin's voice, the worry behind the anger, and she took another calming breath, shaking her head as she carefully peeled off her mask.
"If I can't trust you to think clearly enough to know what you can handle, to know when to rely on others, to follow orders, then how can I take you out into situations where you are putting your life on the line? I won't reward this behavior Rebecca."
"I know, I'm sorry. It wasn't on purpose I just needed to think. I needed to see something for myself." she said. Tracing the edges of the black mask before placing it gently down beside her on the purple bed cover.
The silence of the room became heavy with things unsaid, with unwanted truths and her month-long sabbatical off the streets, reinventing her worldview. She could tell her cousin's empathetic nature had cooled her anger. But she couldn't bear to turn around and look at her, not yet, so she bent forward instead, clasping her hands between her knees.
She heard a rustle as her cousin came to sit beside her. She didn't turn to look as a pale hand came into view, landing softly on her clasped hands, "You could have told me you were ready. I would have come to take you out on patrol anytime, you know that."
"I didn't want to bother you into making such a long trip."
The hand on top of hers squeezed gently, "Zeta-Tubes exist for a reason."
Rebecca stayed quiet, feeling those blue eyes bore into her. "I know it's been difficult for you, having all of that dumped onto you so suddenly. If you don't want to work in this anymore it's alright Becca. You're young, and while I feel that one day you'll be a great Hero you can make a difference through safer ways. No one will think less of you if you think this isn't what you want in life."
"It's not that Dinah," she murmured turning to meet her cousin's eyes, "I love this job, I love the work. But," she blew out a gust of air, turning to stare out her dark window, "I guess I let some things get to my head – I let her get into my head – and I realized I was being stupid. I couldn't stand it anymore, and I decided that I would stop that today. I went out without thinking, I guess I wanted to prove to myself that she was wrong." She paused, ducked her head down to stare at the carpet, "I don't know if I have," she murmured.
Moving closer, Dinah latched tightly onto her hands, "She was wrong Becca. You're a good person, a good hero, and one day you'll be great. I believe in you, mom believes in you, your friends believe in you, and that's all that matters, doesn't it?"
She turned back to Dinah then, taking in the earnestness in her expression, the seriousness of her eyes, the same shade of blue as Rebecca's own. And somehow, she took the strength she hadn't been able to find in her patrol from those eyes. Dinah had never lied to her, had never tried to sugarcoat things. She told you what you needed to hear, just as things were, not as you wanted them to be. And like always, it cleared away a burden Rebecca didn't even realize she had been carrying.
She had spent most of her month going from school, to the gym, to hiding in her room, trying to think through all the heavy doubts running through her head. After that night she had tried to hide away from Dinah with the excuse that she needed to think. That she needed time. But she thought now that a small part of her had been worried that Dinah would confirm her worries. That truthful, blunt, Dinah would confirm all the whispers that woman had put in her head.
She realized now that she had let that woman cloud her judgement. Dinah had chosen her as a partner, had worked with her for years, had led her into the job and taken her under her wing and never had she seemed to regret it, apart from how young Rebecca was to be out there fighting. Dinah had even tried to convince her to accept the League membership being offered to the young hero sidekicks. It had been Rebecca, fresh from her worldview being shattered, that had rejected it. That had not thought herself ready (had not thought herself worthy).
What kind hero was she, what kind of hero would she be, if she let this be what stopped her? What had her turning away from what she knew was her calling? She was a hero, she knew that, Dinah knew that, her family knew that. What did it matter what that woman said? What she thought? She didn't know Rebecca, not like the people who mattered, not like Rebecca herself knew – she was a Hero, come hell or high water.
She gave a short laugh, "I guess I've been pretty stupid about this huh? I can already think up all the weird reasons the boys have come up with on why I've been MIA."
Dinah gave her a wry smile, "They have been asking after you, I think they're getting pretty worried. I'm sure Robin and Kid Flash would have staged an intervention soon if the lot of them hadn't gotten benched."
Her eyes widened in surprise, "Benched? All of them? Even Aqualad? What did they do?"
Letting go of her hand Dinah sighed and reached up to rub at her temples, "That's what I came to talk to you about. Two nights ago Robin, Kid Flash, and Aqualad went against League orders and infiltrated Project Cadmus, a genetics lab in D.C. While there they– "
"Wait. What about Speedy?"
Dinah grimaced before running a hand through her hair, "Speedy grew angry at the limitations being placed on the younger heroes' League membership and walked out. He– he quit."
"What!" Rebecca cried, sitting up, "He quit?! Like he left the field or– ?"
"No, he quit being Ollie's sidekick. He decided that if he wasn't going to have respect as a hero while being Arrow's partner then he would go solo." Dinah gave her a wan smile. "Ollie hasn't been taking it well."
"No kidding." Rebecca murmured, surprise leaving her mind blank as it raced to input this change into what she had thought would be a constant in her life for a while yet.
Roy Harper was Speedy: Green Arrow's sidekick (partner like he always loved insisting) and the older– prickly but kind– boy who had taken her under his wing in Star City when she had first gone to accompany Dinah as her new partner those first, short, wonderful weeks during summer vacation. (Before Dinah had become a League member with access to Zeta-Tubes that allowed her and Rebecca to come and go between Gotham and Star City as they pleased.) He had been the guiding hand those first weeks she had been nervous but too prideful to go to Dinah. Understanding her need to be more than just a kid playing Hero.
He was her first contact in the world of young heroes. Her first friend. She thought he and Oliver had been a good team. That their mentorship, like her and Dinah's, had been more than just partners. That it had meant something to them– family, the call of bonds stronger than blood. To think. That he could walk away from that. And for what? A teenage tantrum? A fit of temper? She had seen him grow restless lately, chafing under the call of "sidekick" but she didn't think some "limitations" would be what would make him walk away from everything he did have.
"He's always had a temper but I didn't think…" she shook her head and glanced up at Dinah, "What were those limitations? Why did he get so angry?"
Pursing her lips Dinah stared at her resolutely for a long minute before she sighed, "The boys already know, might as well let you in on it too. The real League Headquarters isn't the Hall of Justice, it's an orbiting satellite in space called The Watchtower. You kids weren't supposed to know until you were older and officially inducted into the League at eighteen but Ollie told Roy beforehand and he grew angry when it looked like The League was keeping secrets, only giving them a 'glorified backstage pass.'"
"So they lied to us." She said, staring at Dinah incredulously.
She winced. "No, it's just that The Watchtower is top secret. Only full members can know about its existence, even the public doesn't know about it, and some members thought you were all too young to have the burden of that secret, at least not yet."
Rebecca shook her head, "You said it was step one of being full members of the League. That we would be granted full access to what outsiders didn't have. If you were keeping secrets you could have explained it better. Said that we would have partial membership until we proved ourselves, or that we would be granted gradual access as we got older. Why would you make us think we would have everything open to us and then get surprised when we get angry about your secrets?" She barked out a laugh, "I guess I can see why Roy would get so mad."
She glanced back at Dinah, "Even if I had accepted The League's offer you wouldn't have told me if Roy hadn't spilled the beans huh?"
Dinah sighed, running her hand through her hair again, the blond locks tousled now after so many times she had done the action tonight, "It wasn't my call to make Becca. For what it's worth I'm sorry."
Rebecca just nodded absentmindedly, biting into her bottom lip, "What about the others? I'm sure they got angry too, I'm pretty sure some teenage rebellion had to do with their benching. What did they do? You said something about a lab?"
"Project Cadmus, a genetics lab. They went to investigate in place of the League and brought the whole building down on top of themselves."
A surprised laugh tore out of Rebecca, "What? Are they okay? Is that why they were benched?"
A sly smile grew on Dinah's lips, "In part. They also found a couple of surprises in there. A new monster called Blockbuster. And," she hesitated slightly, "a…clone of Superman."
Mouth gaping open in surprise she stared at Dinah, "Wha-? Wow. I can't wait to hear how Cadmus got their hands on that, and how those dummies were able to stumble on it."
Shaking her head, Dinah gave a rueful smile, "While it's an interesting story it's not the most important part, for you at least."
"There's more?"
"Batman's agreed on letting them make a team under his leadership and you've been offered a spot."
Rebecca stared at her, "Me? In a team?" Her earlier resolve started to crumble.
"I don't know," she said, looking away and shaking her head, "You know why I said no to joining the Justice League. I–"
"Becca," Dinah said, leaning in and placing a hand on her shoulder, "I know this has been weighing on you. But I meant what I said, you'll be a great hero. She doesn't define you. She doesn't matter. Don't let her keep you back from doing what you love, from being as great as I know you can be."
Staring into those eyes again she let the words wash over her, resolute and unwavering. "A team."
A smile curling at the corner of her lips Dinah nodded. "They officially meet," turning she shot a glance at the alarm clock on her bedside, "Tomorrow. Technically. What do you say?"
She closed her eyes and let the words spoken tonight wash over her, berating herself. What was she doing? She wasn't this girl. She wasn't the type to let doubt cripple her, to let the words of a practical stranger dictate her life. She wasn't the type to hide in her room, from her family and friends, to run away from what she loved doing. She didn't let her fear control her. She was stronger than this.
Straightening her shoulders she opened her eyes, met Dinah's gaze head on, and recited what Dinah and her Aunt had been telling her her whole life, "I'm a Canary. When the world screams at you, you scream back. Harder. Stronger." Letting her own smile curl on her face she nodded, "Yes."
GOTHAM CITY
JULY 8, 07:50 EDT
Mornings in Gotham were always cloudy and dreary, the winds crisp and cold even in early summer. The clouds a constant gray cover in the sky. Sunlight was a myth in Gotham and it wasn't more obvious than in places like the back alley she was meeting Dinah at.
Rebecca knew that Zeta-Tube entrances had to be discreet but she thought they could do better than an alley that could get you gutted at any time of the day, at least in Gotham. Trying to suppress the shiver that went up her spine at the sudden brisk wind coming into the alley, she ignored the amused look Dinah sent her as she met her across from the abandoned-looking phone booth.
"I think your suit would have been better than that skirt ensemble," she told her in amusement.
Glancing down at her pale blue corduroy skirt, black fishnet stockings, and warm grey ankle boots, she wondered if she should have taken Dinah's advice and suited up instead. Not that her costume was any better. She was sure the skirt she had on was longer than the shorts of her bodysuit. And while her suit tights were a mesh of polymer and metal fibers, they were undeniably fishnets all the same.
Glancing back up she glowered slightly, "I think I'm good thanks. Not all of us have Kevlar leggings in our suit." She said nodding to Dinah's Black Canary ensemble.
"I'm sure it'll be warm in the Mountain anyways," she muttered moving briskly to open up the booth, "let's go, let's go."
Dinah laughed, "Alright, alright. Hey." A calming hand came down on Rebecca's shoulder, turning her slightly, "I know we've talked about this already but I want to be sure that you aren't feeling pressured into anything. I've said it before, but no one will think less of you if you want to live a different life. I'll be proud of you, whatever you chose Rebecca."
Glancing down, she hid a smile into the collar of her striped turtleneck, "I know Dinah but I'm fine," she looked back up decisively, meeting her eyes, "I'm sure. I've wanted this since the moment I first heard the stories of the old Black Canary. You were right. She doesn't define me and I'm not going to let myself be controlled by her, or my fear, or her stupid manipulations. I'm stronger than that. Nobody can control my life but myself."
Searching her eyes Dinah released her shoulder with a nod, "You've always been too stubborn for your own good," she smiled, "Brave too."
Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her matching pale blue corduroy jacket she shrugged and tried for a cocky grin, "Well I did have amazing role models."
Rolling her eyes, Dinah pushed her forward, "Alright smooth talker. Let's get going."
With a laugh Rebecca stepped into the booth and closed her eyes, the light of the Zeta-Beams engulfing her senses.
Recognized: Blue Canary, B-0-4
When she opened them back up again she stared, stunned, at the large cavernous space opening up in front of her.
Recognized: Black Canary, 1-3
She glanced up at the high ceiling, watching as Green Lantern flew about, towing large metal parts with his constructs. She took in the large metal, cone-like, contraption that took up most of the ceiling. At the way the shadows up there made it seem like room went up forever, deep into the stone of the mountain. But she didn't have much time to be awed by the large space that had been hollowed out into the stone before cries were echoing across the room.
"Blue! Baby!"
"Canary!"
She only had a second to notice the group gathered at the center of the room before a breeze swept up her golden hair and a weight settled across her shoulders.
"Babe. Babe! Where have you been? You missed all the fun!"
As the rest of the boys moved towards her, she turned to meet Wally's infectious grin with a smile of her own. Unable to help the laugh that bubbled out of her, she pushed his face away and stepped out from under his arm. Moving forward to meet up with the rest.
"I heard. You bozos get into all types of messes without me there to reign you in don't you?" She met Robin's grin with a smirk, "I guess it's hard when all the testosterone in the room sucks out what little brain cells you have."
"Hey!" Robin cried out, leaning in to punch her in the arm, "We were amazing, thank you! It was a calculated recon mission."
Rebecca laughed, "I'm sure, that's why you blew up the whole place right?" She met Aqualad's gaze. "The headache these idiots must have given you. You have done a great service Aqualad."
A slight smile grew on Aqualad's usually placid face. "Another calm head would have been appreciated," he nodded, a slight tease in his tone, "But it is good to have you back regardless, Blue Canary."
Wally came up to her again, his arm tucking her back into his side, "Yeah! Hey! Does this mean you're joining us?"
She turned and gave him a wry grin, "What do you think?"
With a whoop of excitement Wally raised a fist into the air, "Yes! Getting the band back together! Let's go baby!"
With another laugh Rebecca hip bumped him off balance, "Alright, alright, calm down Kid. I heard you guys made a new friend? Don't be rude, introduce me."
Turning, Robin gestured at the tall, raven haired boy standing a little distance away from the group with his arms crossed.
"Canary, this is Superboy. Superboy, this is Blue Canary. Black Canary's partner and a friend of ours."
As the boy came up to the group Rebecca noticed the red S stretched across his broad chest. She shot an appreciative glance at the way his shirt stretched taut across his shoulders. His face was set into a scowl but she thought it was cute, in a grumpy kid sort of way. It did nothing to retract from his handsome features, the shape of his sharp jawline, and the bright blue of his eyes.
Sending a quick wink to the exasperated glare she could feel behind Robin's sunglasses she smiled and stretched out a hand, "I'm the smart, pretty, one. Nice to meet you Superboy. I heard you saved these idiots in there, thanks for that. Don't let their fumbling rescue fool you, they're usually more competent."
Ignoring the 'Hey!' Wally exclaimed beside them, Superboy glanced briefly at her outstretched hand before accepting it with a small smirk, "They were alright."
Wally looked ready to cry out a retort but he was interrupted by Batman clearing his throat.
Turning to see that the adults had finished their conversation the teens silently lined up in front of them. Rebecca watched as The Flash came around to place a hand on Wally's shoulder while Batman stepped forward – Aquaman, Hawkman, Black Canary and Red Tornado serious and silent behind him. And at the back of all of them stood Captain Marvel, a big grin on his face.
"This cave was the original secret sanctuary of the Justice League," Batman informed them, "We're calling it into service again. Since you four are determined to stay together and fight the good fight, you'll do it on League terms."
The boys smiled at each other as Batman stepped away, "Red Tornado volunteered to live here and be your supervisor. Black Canary's in charge of training," Rebecca sent Dinah a smile.
"I will deploy you on missions," Batman stated as he turned back to them.
"Real missions?" Robin checked.
"Yes, but covert." Batman confirmed, stepping back to the teens in front of him.
"The League will still handle the obvious stuff," Flash piped up from behind Kid Flash's shoulder, "There's a reason we have these big targets on our chest," he said, pointing at the lightning insignia on his chest.
"But Cadmus proves the bad guys are getting smarter. Batman needs a team that can operate on the sly." Aquaman continued, sending Batman a look.
"The six of you will be that team." Batman finished.
"Cool! Wait." Robin paused, tilting his head and voicing the confusion that was rippling through the group of teens, "Six?"
They turned, following Batman's gaze as Martian Manhunter stepped out of the shadow of the Zeta-Tubes, a green skinned girl beside him.
"This is the Martian Manhunter's niece. Miss Martian."
She was pretty. With sharp features, full lips, and red hair that complimented the green shade of her skin. Stopping a couple of steps away beside her uncle, she crossed an arm across her chest to grab at her bicep and raised a hand in a wave, smiling shyly at them, "Hi."
Wally and Robin turned to face each other, smirks growing on their faces, "Liking this gig more every minute," Wally muttered before stepping forward.
Obviously blocking sight of the boys behind him he waved and smiled charmingly at Miss Martian as he began to talk.
"Uh, welcome aboard. I'm Kid Flash," he said pointing a thumb at himself, "That's Robin, Aqualad, Blue Canary," he pointed casually before waving an unconcerned hand, "It's cool if you forget their names."
Rebecca rolled her eyes at the classic Kid Flash act. Stepping around him she punched him in the arm, "Ignore him." She waved, mimicking Wally. "That's what everyone else does."
Offering a hand she smiled, "Nice to meet you. Glad to have you on board. I was worried I'd be stuck alone with these Neanderthals forever," she teased, sending a look to the boys who were coming closer.
"Can't have too many girls in this boys' club right?" She whispered, leaning towards Miss Martian with a conspiratorial grin.
Miss Martian's shy smile grew a little larger as she shook her hand before turning to the rest. "I'm honored to be included." She said sincerely, clasping her hands together.
As the boys crowded around them Robin turned back, noticing Superboy had stayed behind, "Hey Superboy! Come meet Miss M!"
Turning to them Superboy stepped into the circle as Miss Martian changed her costume to resemble his black shirt. Giving it a glance before meeting his gaze she smiled again, something sweeter in the curl of it. "I like your t-shirt."
Superboy returned her smile as the others grinned and jostled each other. Letting the mood surround and buoy her, Rebecca smiled wider, nudging Miss Martian in the arm. She felt like something was different about today.
It was Wednesday. Gotham was as cloudy as always. Kid Flash flirted like he breathed. Aqualad was the calmest person in the room. Robin held more secrets than Area 51. And the world felt different.
Today was an ending, she realized. They weren't sidekicks anymore, not those young, bright-eyed kids that had first stepped onto the streets in the shadows of a Hero. They were their own team now, their own heroes. A whole new path had opened up to them.
Today was a beginning.
Aqualad looked upon all of them – standing there together, a moment they hadn't yet realized would become momentous – before meeting Robin's gaze.
He smiled. Proud. "Today is the day."
The kitchen was fully stocked, Rebecca noticed when she wandered in there sometime later. Looking for something to eat as Black Canary finished talking with Batman and the others.
Aqualad and Aquaman had left soon after the introduction of Miss Martian, Atlantean business calling them to the sea. Superboy had wandered off in their departure, to put together his room she summarized. And Robin and Wally were obviously not-so-discreetly fighting over Miss Martian's attention.
Rebecca had wandered off for some quiet and had ended up exploring the kitchen for something to chew on. Nothing really caught her eye so she settled with grabbing a glass of water. Turning to the kitchen sink she filled her glass before taking a sip and meeting the gaze of Robin, who she had heard enter the kitchen not a few seconds earlier.
The moment she had heard his deliberate footsteps she knew in her gut what the coming conversation was going to be about. Of course Robin, finder of secrets, would jump on her the moment they were relatively alone.
He leaned back against the counter across from her, the one that separated what seemed to be the lounge and the kitchen. Crossing his arms, he stared at her silently. Even with the sunglasses it felt like his gaze was boring into her.
"What happened?"
Rebecca took another sip from her glass, "I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't lie to me Blue," he hissed at her, a furrow appearing between his brows, "Black Canary told the rest of them that you were sticking to Gotham cases 'cause of school but you and I both know that you haven't been in the streets of Gotham for more than a month."
He tilted his chin up and seemingly met her gaze, "Why?"
Rebecca stared at him for a tense moment before letting out a breath. She glanced past him to the empty lounge, "Did you tell them?"
"Not yet. But I would've if this had gone on any longer."
Taking a deep breath she turned around to lean against the sink counter.
Robin waited quietly behind her, "It has something to do with the last case you and Canary worked on doesn't it? Batman had you guys doing something by Miller Harbor."
Rebecca stayed quiet, gaze riveted on the chrome finish of the kitchen stove in front of her.
"Was it because of –"
"– It was just." Rebecca called out, cutting him off, "It was just some family stuff I had to work through. Nothing important, but it took some time. I'm sorry for worrying you." She sighed out.
The kitchen was silent for a moment before Rebecca heard the shuffle of movement as Robin came to stand beside her. She kept her gaze riveted to the silver sheen in front of her. Robin was such a good liar, she mused. Those were the ones who you had to be the most careful around. Secrets and lies were so hard to keep.
"Becks," she finally heard whispered quietly beside her.
Closing her eyes briefly, she turned her head and met the dark reflection of Robin's glasses as he leaned his hip against the counter, arms crossed and facing her. Even with his eyes concealed she felt laid bare, an open book. Read as easily as he seemed to read his computer programs.
He seemed to search for something, the dark of his glasses not leaving her, before he sighed and slumped further against the counter.
"So everything's fine then? You're staying?" He asked, lips ticking up in a rueful smirk.
Rebecca stared at him for a long silent moment. Wondering at his word choice. Wondering at how much he knew. Or found out. Or suspected. Before she met his smirk with a small smile.
"Yeah." She murmured, "I'm here. 100%."
He flashed her that classic Robin grin, "Good."
A/N: So I thought I should get this project out of my head. I know I have some very old stories still on this site but to be honest I've lost all inspiration and/or notes for them a while ago. I might get back to them and re-do/continue them one day but for now I'll try to work mostly on this one and any new ones that might come up in my head.
So this Fic is influenced a little by the Arrowverse of the CW Show 'Arrow' you'll see what I mean a couple of chapters in. It's not much, just some characters and relationships. Most of my inspiration will actually be pulled from animated cartoons (YJ, Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, etc.) and the movies in the DCU animated Universe. I have watched the live action movies and live action shows so those might influence my understanding of the characters too (Arrow, Flash, Titans, etc.) Bottom line is that most of my ideas about the DC Universe and my understanding of character personalities, relationships, etc. are going to be a mix of everything I have seen or read from previously mentioned sources, other fics, and wiki. I have not once read a single comic so if you're expecting me to stick to some Comic storyline, characterization, relationships, etc. unless I stumble across it on a wiki and decide to use it you are out of luck.
That said anybody who wants to give some insight on the complicated inner workings of the DC Universe is welcome to do so. I don't promise I'll use all of what I am given but some interesting tidbits might help me understand the characters or Young Justice better.
So thank you all who braved this chapter, I hope you liked it. Any reviews and constructive criticism is welcome.
