A Normal Day

A/N: It is a random one-shot. It is not good and is totally up to you if you want to read it.
It was a normal early Monday morning. Birds were chirping, kids were getting ready for school, adults were walking towards the train station to catch the train to their offices.
In the Granger household everyone was up and were making their way to the kitchen where the dining table was present to have their breakfast.
Kai walked around in the kitchen wearing boxers and a long shirt. "Morning grandpa" he greeted the eldest Granger. " Morning Kai" he replied with a smile. It had been quite some time since Kai started calling him grandpa. It was an accident at first but when no one stopped him he started calling his grandpa and Bruce dad.
Both him and Bruce were happy to let the teen continue to call them that. Afterall he had been dating Hiro for a year and they both are very serious about their relationship. It is just a matter of time before Hiro propose to Kai and everyone knew that.
Kai had sort of became the lady of the house. He knew where everything was kept. He took care of the entire house and the males in there. He cooked and sometimes cleaned the house. He took care of both Daichi and Tyson's education, helping them whenever they don't understand something. He also helped Hiro with the BBA paperwork and he took care of his own company. All in all he was perfect.
Smiling gently Kai gave the old man his morning tea. Taking his tea grandpa Granger sat down at his seat at the table. Soon Bruce and Hiro entered the kitchen taking their seats as well. "Morning dad, morning Hiro" Kai said placing a cup of coffee each in front of them.
"Morning" Bruce said with a smile. "Morning love" Hiro said kissing Kai's cheek when he placed coffee in front of him. Kai smiled at that. He was now used to the open affection that Hiro showed towards him. When they first started dating he would always blush when Hiro complimented him or gave him kisses. Now he could return the favour without feeling shy.
"Tyson, Daichi, come down or you are gonna be late for school" he said from the kitchen. Not hearing any footsteps for about five minutes Kai went up to the boys shared room.
Opening the door he saw that the curtains were pulled and the lights were turned off indicating both boys were still asleep. "Wake up or you are gonna be late again" Kai said turning on ythe lights and going to pull the blinds open.
He heard two twin groans and saw both Tyson and Diachi sitting rubbing the sleep out of their eyes. "What time is it" Tyson asked yawning. "7:50" Kai replied. That got both the boys attention and both got up hurriedly to get to the bathroom first.
It was a daily routine for both of them. They would get up late and would race to the bathroom. Whoever wins gets ready first and get to eat breakfast in no hurry.
This time Tyson won. Daichi was standing there banging on the door. Kai sighed already feeling tired. It was difficult to get everyone out of the house on time. "Go use my bathroom Daichi and be quick" Kai said walking down the stairs.
Entering the kitchen he went to set the breakfast plates. Putting scrambled eggs with salsa in each plate, he put some bread in the toaster. Putting plate in front of each Granger he went to get some jam and butter from the fridge.
Placing both items he went to retrieve the toast. "Hurry up, both of you" Kai said applying some butter on a toast and giving it to Hiro.
Soon two set of footsteps were heard and both Tyson and Daichi entered the kitchen. "Your plates are on the counter. Finish them quickly before you are late" Kai said not bothering to stop.
Both boys grabbed their plates and sat down. "I want avocado toast" Tyson said. "Eat what is given to you Tyson. If you want something else get up early and make it yourself" Bruce said looking t his youngest son.
Getting up from his chair Kai grabbed a cup of coffee and the plate of fruits. "I want this to be finished" he said placing the plate in front of the boys to which they both made a face. "I am not gonna eat any fruit" Daichi said. "You are gonna eat them and you are gonna like them" Kai said staring straight at the red headed boy who nodded with wide eyes.
'What did you made for lunch Kai" Tyson asked. Kai stood there for a minute before going to the fridge and taking things out to start their lunch. "How could you forgot to make our lunch?" Daichi all but yelled. "I was busy waking your sorry ass" Kai replied not bothering to look at them.
"Hey stop putting all the fruits in my plate" Tyson yelled. "I didn't do it" Daichi defended himself. "No you did. I saw it with my own eyes" Tyson said. "Well you saw wrong".
"Stop lying mnley"
"Who are you calling monkey you pig"
"Don't call me that"
"Or else what?"
Hearing this Tyson grabbed a handful of scrambled eggs and threw them at Daichi's face. Daichi grabbed his salsa and threw it at Tyson's direction. The adults at the table tried to stop the fight but to no avail. Soon a food fight started. Kai turned around to yell at both boys but before he could say anything some scrambled eggs came flying in his direction and hit him right in the face. That stopped both boys as they watched horrified.
Hiro stood up from his chair and slowly went towards Kai. "Hey, lets get you cleaned up, shall we" he said slowly and took Kai towards their bedroom.
With Kai gone both Tyson and Daichi heard an earful from Bruce and grandpa Granger about wasting food and throwing food at anyone. After a few minutes Kai came back with no trace of scrambled egg on his face.
Turning towards the boys to give them a earful of his own, he stopped when he smelt something burning. Looking at the expression he was not the only one who smelt that. Turning towards he gas he saw both boy's lunch burning. Rushing towards the gas to turn it off he did not thought Tyson would be a fool enough to pour water over it.
With the entire kitchen filled with smoke everyone pilled out. "TYSON" they all said together once they were out of the kitchen. "Oops" Tyson said sheepishly.
When the smoke was all gone Kai went in again to make another lunch for the two. Finishing the lunch he looked at the time 8:30. It was the time they were supposed to enter the school.
Running upstairs towards the boys room he did not knock and went straight in. Tyson was doing his homework which he was supposed to do the night before and Daichi was packing his bag. "You are late" he said which earned him the attention of both boys.
"But I didn't do my homework" Tyson whined. "And I can't find my books" Daichi said. "It is not my problem. I asked you to do your homework yesterday and I asked you to keep your things at one place. Now go before you are more late" Kai said placing his hand on his hips.
Both boys got up and rushed downstairs. "You forgot your bag Tyson" Kai said also rushing downstairs to give the boy his bag. "Come straight home after school" he said to the retreating boys.
Sighing he went to his room. Now it was time to kick his boyfriend out. Entering the room he stood there shocked. All the clothes were thrown on the floor. The drawers were open and a frantic looking Hiro was searching through some papers for something.
"What are you looking for" Kai asked entering the room. "Those papers I was working on yesterday" Hiro said continuing his searching.
Kai sighed and picked a file up from their bedside table. "This one" he asked holding the file. Hiro turned around and saw Kai holding the file he needed. 'Yes" he exclaimed happily and kissed Kai on the lips. Kai chuckled at his boyfriend. "Go before you are late like your brother" he said.
Hiro went out of the room and towards the entrance with Kai following behind. At the entrance Hir wore his shoes and turned to give Kai one last kiss. "Can get me some of my favourite chocolates while coming back" Kai asked. "Sure love" Hiro replied kissing Kai's forehead.
After waving Hiro goodbye Kai went to the kitchen and saw two lunch boxes sitting there. He sighed knowing he had to deliver them. He just ignored them and went to his room. Also gnring the havoc there he went straight to bed wondering how his life changed so quickly.
He used to be the badass of the beyblading world. He use to train multiple hours at once without getting tired and now here he is, tired after just two hours of waking up. Well whatever happened he was happy and he will not let anything happen to take it away from him.
With those thoughts in mind he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep
