Ruby, completely dizzy, fell backwards into a luggage cart, sending cases flying.

"What are you doing?!" Weiss asked in anger.

"Uh, sorry!" Ruby exclaimed while getting up on her hands and looking up at Weiss.

"Sorry?! Do you have any idea of the damage you could have caused?" Weiss was suddenly slapped.

"That's your fault. You shouldn't leave your fragile, good-for-nothing things lying around where poor, unfortunate dizzy people will end up falling." She looked up, hand on her cheek, to see a thirteen-year-old girl with tan skin, bright-orange fox ears, fangs, claws, nine bright-orange fox tails, three whisker markings on each cheek, blue eyes with slit pupils, and long red hair that gradates to yellow-blond at the tips wearing blue sandals, orange pants with a shuriken holster on the right knee, green goggles on her forehead, and an orange and blue jacket with a white collar, a white swirl with a tassel on the left side, and a red spiral symbol on the back.

Standing next to her is a thirteen-year-old boy with fair skin, narrow brown eyes, and shoulder length black hair tied in a spiky ponytail wearing brown pants, silver hoop earrings, and a green jacket with a neck guard, three scroll pouches on each side of the chest, extra padding over the shoulders (which is fastened on by steel buttons), a zipper down the middle, and on the back is the same spiral symbol as the one on the back of the girl's jacket. The boy is also wearing a short-sleeved grey jacket with green-edged sleeves under the green jacket and around his left arm is a blue forehead protector.

Standing next to him is a fourteen-year-old boy with fair skin, featureless lavender eyes, and long dark brown hair in a loose ponytail tied a few inches above the end wearing a beige-colored shirt, dark brown shorts, blue shinobi sandals, a black forehead protector, under which is a smaller headband with two straps that frame the sides of his face, and wrapped bandages around his right arm and right leg.

Standing on the girl's other side is a thirteen-year-old girl with fair skin, tanuki ears, fangs, claws, a tanuki tail, long spiky auburn hair, black tanuki-like eye rings, light blue eyes with no pupils, and a red kanji on the left side of her forehead, which her hair is parted in order for it to be visible. This girl's wearing a white cloth over her right shoulder and the left side of her hips, a forehead protector wrapped around a wide leather band from her left shoulder to her right hip which holds a large sand gourd, a reddish-brown bodysuit with long sleeves and an upright collar, and mesh armor on her wrists and ankles.

"Why don't you mind your own business?" The fox girl snarled angrily before roughly grabbing Weiss by her bolero, free hand balling into a fist.

"Your stupid cart landed on my tails, princess."

"It's heiress, actually." Blake corrected, catching everyone's attention. "Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world." The fox girl gave the girl in her grasp a squinty-eyed look while her companions watched on with unreadable expressions.

"So you're being in denial and blaming her because you're too stupid to realize your own flaws!" Weiss stared with wide eyes before glaring at the fox girl,

"How dare you? Didn't you just hear who I am?"

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE THE QUEEN OF THE COUNTRY, SO BELIEVE IT!" The fox girl screamed before punching Weiss in the face. The other three grabbed their foxy friend and bolted away, leaving a shocked Ruby, stunned Blake, and unconscious Weiss behind.

The four managed to sneak into Beacon Academy's giant auditorium, filled to the brim with people. They hid in the shadows just as Ruby and Jaune entered.

"Ruby! Over here! I saved you a spot!" The four could hear the younger girl.

"Oh! Hey, I-I gotta go! I'll see you after the ceremony!" They watched as she raced away.

"You went a little too far on the heiress." The lazy boy carefully whispered.

"Not my fault she's got no endurance." The fox girl sneered. They suddenly fell silent.

"How's your first day going, little sister?"

"You mean since you ditched me and a Faunus girl exploded?" The four were completely confused by the young girl's snappy comeback.

"Yikes! Meltdown already?" Ruby answered,

"No, it was exactly like your kind of explosion."

"Are you being sarcastic?" The four saw that Weiss was now conscious and standing right next to Ruby.

"I wish! I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage, and then she yelled at me, and then this fox Faunus showed up and defended me, and then the crabby girl yelled at her, and the Faunus girl looked ready to hit her…" Weiss suddenly yelled,

"Yeah!" Ruby quickly jumped into her sister's arms,

"Oh, God, it's happening again!"

"She screamed that she didn't care and punched me in the face." Yang saw that Weiss now has a big black eye along with the red hand print on her face.

"Oh my God, it really was my kind of explosion."

"I didn't get that at all." The fox girl whispered to her companions. The hidden group's attention was drawn to the stage completely, where Professor Ozpin was readying the microphone as Glynda stood beside him.

"I'll… keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction." They heard everyone whispering among themselves. "You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." Ozpin walked away just before Glynda casually stepped up to the mic,

"You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed."

"Something's not right." The lavender-eyed boy commented as they settled in the Emerald Forest.

"What's wrong?" The boy with the spiky ponytail asked, concerned about his companion.

"My seal is gone." The lavender-eyed boy stated before taking off his headbands.

"Guys, Kurama's missing." The fox girl reported in concern & complete confusion.

"Kurama?" The lavender-eyed boy asked, confused.

"The Nine-Tails. All nine of the Tailed Beasts have names, which means they're living creatures just like us." The fox girl explained. The tanuki girl asked,

"The One-Tail is missing too. Do you know all nine names?" Her companion gave her a smile,

"His name is Shukaku." The boy with the spiked ponytail looked at the sky before looking around,

"I think we should start searching first thing in the morning." The tanuki girl used the sand from her gourd to make a dome big enough to house all four of them. After settling in together, they went to sleep.
