Out in the Wasteland, a woman in her early twenties walks around a ruined suburban neighborhood holding an energy rifle called "Gauss Rifle." The woman had blue eyes, strawberry blonde hair, tan skin, and a small scar on the back of her head. The woman wore reinforced leather armor, and underneath is a vault 101 jumpsuit, and she wore Pip-boy three thousand on her right wrist. The woman's name is Gwen Miller, but most call her another name on the wasteland's east coast, the Lone-wanderer. Gwen had many adventures throughout her life, ranging from crazy to tragic.
But now, Gwen wants to take things easy and not wanting to go on some grand adventure. However, Gwen picks up a strange radio signal from her Pip-boy coming from a ruined suburban neighborhood.
"So far, I encounter three Feral ghouls and one dumb mole-rat. I'm thinking going to this neighborhood is a waste of time," Gwen thought, then she looks at her Pip-boy "the signal is getting stronger," Gwen looks at a white-painted two-story house and sees the signal coming from there. Gwen goes into the house to see it has a few skeletons in the living room, and the inside of the house has seen better days. Gwen traces the signal to the basement of the house, and she heads down the basement to see the basement is turned into a make-shift lab.
"Huh, I didn't expect to see a lab down here," Gwen thought.
Gwen looked around the lab to see various test tubes, lab equipment, a couple of bottles of beer and Nuka cola, old food cans, and last, a couple of machines and toys broke down into parts. Gwen then sees a weird ray gun with bright blue color with some notes next to it, and Gwen picks up the notes and reads it.
"I have finally done it. I made a gun that would let me go through another dimension or maybe time. I haven't quite added up the numbers, and I need another fix, but when I get back from the market, I will test the gun out," Gwen finishes reading the note.
"The guy is so obviously on Jet," Gwen thought as she picked up the ray gun, "but let's see what this Ray gun really does?"
Gwen pressed the trigger on the gun, and Gwen felt a shock for a few minutes, and the whole basement suddenly changed around here. Gwen let go of the trigger, and the ray gun started to smoke from the barrel. Gwen looks around to see the basement doesn't look like a lab anymore but instead a bunch of furniture and an old TV.
"Alright, that felt weird. What happened to the lab equipment in the basement?" Gwen thought she then digitized the ray gun and walked back up the stairs to see the house looked bright and new with working lights, and there were no skeletons but new furniture and devices. "What's going on here?"
Gwen goes to the window to see it was nighttime and that houses weren't destroyed or ruined.
Before Gwen could think, she heard behind her, "w-who are you?" Gwen turns behind to see a sixteen-year-old African American woman with long black hair and brown eyes, wearing a white shirt, purple sweat pants, and white socks.
"I'm Gwen Miller," said Gwen
"How did you get to my house," the woman slowly reached down into her pocket and pulled out her phone.
"I just walk into the house,"
"Bull shit, the door was lock and if you don't get out of my house or I'm going to call the police,"
"Police?" Gwen thought, then she quickly tells the teen, "listen, I didn't mean to be in your house, but I'm confused right now, and I promise I won't hurt you,"
"What about the weird gun on your back?"
Gwen quickly digitize the Gauss rifle "the gun gone see,"
"How did you do that?"
"I'll tell you if you can help me out,"
"If I help you can you leave my house? Your parents probably looking for you anyway how late this is,"
"Kid, I'm in my twenties I can handle myself,"
"No, you're not. You're about the same age as I am," the teen uses her phone to show an image of Gwen, who now looks like herself sixteen again.
"Just great," Gwen thought.
