Although the baddy of the day was long past the part of Ash, the evil machine that Ash couldn't remember its name was still on, and from what Arceus himself said it was a very bad thing.

"We need to shut off the ultimate weapon," Misty noted.
"Yeah, the ultimate weapon is a dangerous weapon, a weapon that can lead to mass destruction," Brock before the group quickly realized that whoever shuts down the weapon will probably be like Buddy Holly, dead.

"The Final Battle XXX!" Ash, his traveling buddies, and rivals said, though everyone but Ash, Cameron, and Brock pronounced it as The Final Battle 30. However, Ash and Cameron had different reasons from Brock.
(BGM: Tears after the Cloudy Weather)
"Oh right, how could I forget about the weapon?" Ash wondered.
"I guess I'll shut it off," Ash said nonchalantly before walking off to try and off the weapon.
"Ash you will DIE!" Everyone shouted at him.
"But I am the one who makes heroic sacrifices and makes it out unscathed, its my thing."
"Well, I guess you're right," Mostly everyone concede expect for a certain honey blonde person.
"No, I will do it," Serena volunteered.
"I can't let you do that, you will die, and that's my thing."
"Pikachu!"
"See Pikachu agrees," Ash said, "Just sit back and enjoy the fire…" Ash was caught off guard as Serena went for the face, so much for his heroic self-sacrifice. To be fair it was mostly for another free desert upon revival, and while everyone's face was tomato red, the other Pokégirls, (and Goh) were already taking mental notes to put Serena on their hitlist, ain't nobody going to take Ash away from them, or else. Arceus was just looking at how this simple situation was turning into complete madness and decided to take the easy way out. Arceus himself turned off the machine, causing the machine to shut off, but at the cost of Arceus life.
"No Arceus!" Everyone yelled, as a shockwave sent the entire group flying, at the very least there wasn't any world destroying disasters scheduled for a while. Meanwhile during Arceus' final moments.
"At least I don't have to stick around long in this crappy excuse for an April Fools Fanfiction. Well maybe it might not be!" As the Llama God was sent spiraling in a way that rivialed Bardock's death during the Bardock special.
"So now what," Ash mopingly said.
"I know what," Serena said in a winking manner, that definitely wouldn't be suitable for a T rated fic.
"We can have our battle, since I am the unbeatable Champion," A strange voice said from a distance.
"CHAMPION LEON!" The whole group said, with Serena being a tad bit disappointed, while the girls all breathed a small breath of relief.
"Yes, it is me, the Unbeatable Champion World Monarch. I challenge Ash Ketchum for both of my titles."
"I acc…"
"Ash!" A certain inventor exclaimed.
"What about the damage done around the world?"
"Oh yeah we probably need to fix that first," Ash said, before looking to the conveniently placed legendries who just arrived at the scene.
"You guys can rebuild humanity; I got a battle!" Ash 'asked'.
"Fine by me, Mew can rebuild in an instant, by the way where is Arceus?" Mewtwo asked.
"He's dead, just missed him," Max nonchalantly stated.
"Dang it, he did this so he could get out of this didn't he," Dialga stated.
"Probably, but I don't care," Palkia said.
"So who is the new ruler of this universe?" Celebi asked, and with that a thousand's year war just begun for Legendary supremacy.
"Wait, first let's heal this world so we can see an epic battle," Mew said, with the other legendries begrudged agreeing. A blast of yellow shook across the whole world, fixing any physical damage, unfortunately for the population mental damage was something they were going to have to fix on their own. (A/N: I give on doing different background music, think of your own!)
"So now that, that is out of the way, let's have a champion time," Leon said as he readied his Pokéball.
"I get your just…" Ash said before being rudely interrupted.
"I think its best if we go to a stadium first," May said.
"Oh yea, forgot about that," Leon said.
"Such a little kid," Iris remarked.
"A little kid that can beat you down and down and never let up," Leon mumbled as a random scene change happened. In Wyndon, it was a 6v6, Ash v. Leon, the ultimate battle, a will of Champions they might say.
"Go, Aegislash!"
"Here I go!"
"Wait you can talk?" Leon asked, to the amazement of the viewers.
"Well of course I can, I am a sentient being as well!"
"He's got a point, though I have a feeling either the legendary blast or Arceus' death crushed the language barrier," Pikachu said.
"Hmmm, oh well," Ash said.
"You got a plan?" Pikachu asked.
"Well of course I have a plan, I am going to surprise Leon like its no tomorrow," Ash said.
"What's the surprise! I love surprises," Leon yelled in excitement.
"It's a surprise you idiot," Aegislash told Leon.
"Well I suppose your right," Leon said with a hint of being upset.
"Don't worry, Leon, here's my surprise, GO TORKOAL!" Brock, May, and Max all slapped their faces knowing that of all the Pokémon, Ash could've sent out it had to be Torkoal. Needless to say, Ash's "surprise" was one that costed him a victory, all 6 of his weakest Pokémon, going up against Leon's strongest Pokémon. They say Ash's IQ dropped thirty points that day, and if you were to see him during the battle you would've thought more.
After the match, Ash and Pikachu went to the locker room, admittedly upset at the affair. Pikachu known that he should've forced Ash to not accept the battle offer, as he knows that for some mysterious reason after some legendary Pokémon event his battle prowess takes a nosedive for awhile afterwards, and that is usually when the league happens. In another time and another place, Misty sighed knowing what they had to do now. It is scared tradition after an Ash Ketchum League stumble to try this. She was glad that she didn't have to try to get anyone aboard after Ash's victory in the Alola League, besides the last time the gang attempted this, it got all of those who lost the coinflip killed. Celebi was always nice enough to turn back the clock after all of these attempts. But now she will have to explain this process to two sets of traveling companions instead of one, and unfortunately Alola's traveling group was mighty large.
"Hey Misty, are we going to do the thing?" Max asked.
"Yes, can you get everyone here?" Misty asked.
"Sure thing," Max said as he got everyone, and I mean everyone, parents, professors, rivals champions, OCs, Characters of the Day, gym leaders, and even Team Rainbow Rocket into the mix.
"So, I presume we are doing the thing?" Professor Oak asked.
"Yes," Misty said.
"What thing?" Chloe asked.
"We are going to betray Ash," Misty explained.
"Why?" Goh asked.
"Because its something the writer does, to force the twerp to become all powerful, and get the ladies, if you know what I mean," Meowth explained.
"Makes sense, so all of us are going to betray him?" Professor Cerise asked.
"Nope, some of us will stay loyal," Brock added.
"So how will we determine who stays loyal?" Kahuna Hala asked.
"It's simple, a coinflip!" Dawn said, as several portals popped out of nowhere.
"Did I hear Betrayal?" A mysterious figure said, and might I add he looks similar to Ash.
"Who are you?" Bonnie asked.
"The name is Red, and I am from Pallet Town, and this is Pika the Pikachu!" Red said.
"Hello there," Pika said.
"What?" Red said.
"What?" Pika replied.
"People can hear Pokémon in this dimension now," Gary said.
"Well that's cool," another figure stepped out looking similar to Gary in looks.
"Hey Blue!" Red said.
"The others should be here momentarily, Black had to use the restroom," Blue explained.
"So, this is the so called 'Anime' world," Blue said.
"Anime World?" Mostly everyone in the audience asked.
"Multiverse theory people, we are from what is called the 'Adventures' world," Red said.
"Well I suppose that makes sense," Clemont said.
"It says here in our bio that if we appear in the Anime World, we are suppose to rip it, and proclaim our world is better!" Blue said, somewhat out of character, but who actually cares.
"Yell this world is weird as heck, I am sure my weakest Pokémon can win against the strongest trainer here…"
Red was interrupted by another guy who stepped out of the third portal.
"…" said the kid who looked suspiciously like a mix of Red and Ash.
"Oh, did someone say betrayal, I love betrayals they are my favorite stories every, and we get to be in one Red, I hope I support Ash!"
"…" the trainer looked as he has had a tough life, or that this girls jabbering was going to be the death of him one day.
"Green, its nice to see you again," Red (M) said.
"Whose is this Green person, I mean literally how in the heck, the person you called is from your universe and you have the nerve to say it was me. Either way the name is Leaf, and we have the right to rip into both the Anime and Adventure verse here because we are from the prime world in this cluster 'Game'," Leaf said.
"Let's wait for any additions to the cast, before we make our move," Misty said, as surely more people walked out, and the explanations were given. Meanwhile Ash was wondering how different life would be if he made the sacrifice, and if he made the sacrifice had Serena not made it on his lips.
"Alright so we determine this by coinflip, first off the most important is shipping!" Misty said.
"What is so important about shipping?" Red (I am just going to put Red because we all know Game Red doesn't talk) asked.
"EVERYTHING!" Most of the girls in the audience said.
"Let's start this," Gold said as he plucked out his coin, and after discussing rules the flip was made. While every girl in that room minus certain characters were hoping for their shot, only for their hopes to be killed immediately after. In the end, Pokéshipping and Pearlshipping won out, unfortunately for them it means there is a giant target on their back. Then came to who would not betray him, obviously both Misty and Dawn wouldn't, but who else? Well, the results came back, Brock, Max, Cilan, Bonnie, Kiawe, and Chloe wouldn't betray him alongside a wholly slew of side characters, and one traitor to the traitor. With that being settled they all quickly made pace to Pallet Town, so they just so happened to be there for some random event at the same time to beat up the living daylights out of Ash.
Meanwhile Ash recovered from his lost, and now he and his Pikachu were walking back home to Pallet Town knowing that there is a 50/50 chance that most of his friends probably betrayed him or something. However, Ash didn't particularly care, as he ventured further anyways.
"Last one home is a rotten Exggcute!" As Ash started sprinting home, but of course Pikachu decided to use Quick Attack to beat him there. Shame, when Ash got in he saw a bunch of faces both familiar and different, before he could say the word.
