Darkness is what he could see, Emptiness is what he could feel. The vastness of this void filled Wally with emptiness, and cold. How could this happened, he thinks as he remembers the words he so hates..."you weren't fast enough" these words fill him with sadness and rage, sadness of him not being fast enough, rage that he left everyone behind. He thinks of Artemis his spitfire, his world and he thinks of how devastated she would be, he thinks of his parents, his Aunt Iris and Uncle Barry. He would comeback to them, he has to, he needs to.
"I need to get back, I have to for Artemis for everyone, come on Wallman you can do this", Wally says to himself with new found determination,
Images of Artemis fill Wally's mind, all the times they had fun, the beach and...the first kiss they shared
With newfound determination, Wally prepared to run, he felt fire coursing through his veins, and felt like he could run a marathon around the world 100 times. , he glares in front of the darkness in front of him and with lightning filled eyes, and he ran!
"I can feel how fast i'm running , dammit I'm not fast enough". Wally thinks. As he felt lightning coursing through him
"Come on wallman you can do this". He says to himself. After trying several times he wasn't fast enough. "Goddammit still not fast enough" he thinks to himself. As he runs he feels a fire of determination burn in his body, he runs harder faster than ever.
"ARGGHHHH FASTER WALLY FASTER I NEED TO GO FASTER!" he shouts in his mind. As Wally goes faster and faster his Lightning begins flickering from yellow to white, moments later he felt something new, something that was calling out to him.
"What, is this?" 'He thinks to himself. As his Lightning begins to turn white. He felt a thousand times faster. He runs faster than ever before, creating sparks of white lightning as he ran, he no longer felt emptiness and cold, he now felt the warmth and determination he needs to comeback, 'I can come back now' he thinks to himself.
"I can go back no" Wally exclaims to himself. He begins to think "Arty I'm coming Home babe" He then sees something opening in front of him. "That maybe my way out, come on Wally you can do this" He thinks to himself.
As Wally saw the portal he began to reach out, he then with a burst of energy as he entered the portal. He begins to say to himself, "Artemis, what ever happens I want you to know, I love you so much, I'll come home, I WILL", as the portal closed taking Wally with it.
