-Episode 1: A New Beginning-

Snow fell from the sky as a large crowd gathered at Mobotropolis City Hall around a stage that has Mobian flags draping down with a podium in the centre. The president, Breezie The Hedgehog can be seen walking to the mentioned podium. She stood and faced the crowd, a comforting smile with a hint of sinister intent adorned her face before she began to speak to her adoring supporters, all while Mobius' elite line up through the rest of the stage, with Breezie standing in the middle.

"People of Mobotropolis. No...people of Mobius. I feel the pain that you feel, but you're scared to admit to yourselves. The Kingdom Of Acorn has kept you down and suppressed you for all of these years. Well no more. I know you want justice, I know you seek liberation. I only ask that you place your trust in me...change is coming and I need your help to bring it to reality! Only you can help me to bring about a new era!" Breezie spoke, her tone strong, firm and befitting of a leader. The crowd let out explosive cheers, expressing their love and adoration for their leader. Afterwards, Breezie joins the other elites backstage and her expression becomes more sinister.

"Get them out of my sight." she said, her tone much colder than it was before, causing all of the suits to look at her in horror before the guards violently drag them away. She is then heard saying:

"Let the past die."

A series of dark looming clouds can be seen in the sky as the snow fell, followed by robots patrolling the estate of Breezie The Hedgehog, the politician-turned-dictator. A year after the Chaos incident that destroyed Mobotropolis, she took the opportunity of the aftermath to seize power from even the Kingdom Of Acorn. And with this, Breezie began to speak in a narration.

"It's been three months since I took power away from the Kingdom Of Acorn and seized Mobotropolis for my ever-growing empire. I realized that I wanted to be more than just a president of entertainment. I wanted power, to keep Mobians safe...from themselves."

A montage is shown of Mobians being imprisoned and taken away from their families, crying out for parents and children alike. One in particular, a female Mongoose with wavy lilac hair, a bionic arm, and wearing a simple black tank top, brown shorts, a black hairband, and large dark teal boots and gauntlets on her hands. was looking for a way to rescue her family from imprisonment. She landed on top of the Mobotropolis Central Prison east wall and looks at the prisoners being forced forward by the guards below. She proceeded to walk before looking around to find a way inside without being seen. Unfortunately, a squad of robots spot her and quickly apprehend her. As she is dragged away, she screams out.

The scene cuts, as the mongoose's scream echoes, to the returning Freedom Fighters, who are seen breaking into one of the prison facilities keeping Mobians falsely imprisoned. Field leader, Sally Acorn is seen walking in front of a group of Freedom Fighters she commands before giving the following orders.

"Secure the prisoners by any means necessary! You're permitted to use force if any robots attack!" Sally said as she walks with the group, who run ahead to carry out Sally's orders. She then puts her index and middle finger before smiling and saying:

"You know what to do." she said. The scene cuts to someone hiding in a corner of the prison facility, who was revealed to be none other than Sonic The Hedgehog.

"Gotcha, Sal." said Sonic before Sally ended the transmission. He then looks around the corner to see the Mongoose girl from earlier being dragged to a cell by robots. The mongoose looked around for her parents, hoping to spot them in one of the cells. However, sadness began to sink in as she couldn't see them in any of the cells. Upon this realization, she used her cyborg arm to attempt to break free, but she ended up losing balance and falling on her hands and knees. The robots simply pointed their guns at her, causing the mongoose's eyes to narrow in abject terror. All of a sudden, a blue blur lands a series of homing attacks on the robots around the mongoose girl before casually walking up to the last one and, with a smirk on his face, knocking it over with the tip of his shoe.

"Hey, you okay?" he asked as soon as he turned to the girl, to which she simply nodded, her eyes still conveying fear. Sonic then walked over and kneeled down before offering his hand.

"Come on. Lemme help you up, at least." Sonic said, smiling warmly. The mongoose finally took the hand of her savior. The two of them started to make a move, however the girl was still traumatized beyond reckoning after her near escape from death. She didn't want to speak. Sonic saw this and didn't blame her one bit.

The scene cuts back to Sally, who is seen awaiting news on the status of the prisoners' release. In that moment, many prisoners came out with a squad of Freedom Fighters. One of them, an orange wolf, approaches Sally to give his report.

"Bailey, your team have done a great job. You've helped to save countless lives today." Sally said with a smile.

"Just doing my job, commander." Bailey said simply, before he and Sally turned around to the sound of footsteps. They saw Sonic arriving back with the Mongoose girl from earlier.

"Sonic! Who's this?" Sally asked as Sonic ran up to her, wondering about the girl.

"A survivor, Sal. She looks real shakened. She's not exactly in a talkin' mood, either." Sonic explained.

"I'm not surprised...Hey, it's gonna be alright. We're here to free the people who were falsely imprisoned here." Sally said, kneeling down to talk to Mina who was hugging her knees, not wanting to look at or talk to anyone.

"Commander, we need to leave. The robots are on their way to take back the prisoners we broke out." Bailey reminded Sally, who turned to him and nodded. After giving the order, the Freedom Fighters rounded up the freed prisoners and gathered them into military trucks, which started driving as a series of robots started flying after them and opened fire as a chase ensued.

"Sal, take care of these people. I got this." Sonic said, standing up in the truck before jumping straight out. In the past, Sally would reach her hand out, but instead, she smiled because she knew what he was about to do. Sonic then landed and charged up a bright blue energy. After a bit, in slow motion, the hedgehog takes down all of the robots in an instant, before swinging back into the truck and sitting in the same spot he was sitting in earlier.

"Show-off." Sally said, lightly punching Sonic's arm as she smirked, to which Sonic smirked back. All of the trucks are seen safely heading back towards the Knothole. The scene cuts to a luxorious office and focuses on the figure sitting at the desk; none other than Mobotropolis' dictator, Breezie The Hedgehog. She watches the recovered footage of Sonic destroying her robots. The last shot of the episode focuses on her sinister grin before the screen cuts to black.
