Xue Yang likes to watch the stars.

He specially likes to do it with Xiao Xingchen by his side. To tell him nonsense about constellations he doesn't even know about. And of course Xiao Xingchen knows everything there is to know about the skies above, but he listens to his bullshit anyway.

It's always like that. He makes up stories and Xiao Xingchen pretends he doesn't know they're lies just to indulge him. Xiao Xingchen seems to find everything he does quite amusing. Even when Xue Yang is a little bit cruel, even when his voice is dripping with sarcasm.

He's annoying like that, his Daozhang. Always too good, too pure. When Xue Yang undercooks roots on purpose he never even comments on that, just eats it all like he always does. He asks for seconds and Xue Yang can't understand how this man can't dislike him even when he's being a brat purposely.

Daozhang never finds anything unpleasant. Xue Yang can't relate at all to that. He's always been quite proficient in finding things to complain about.

It's hard to do it about Xiao Xingchen, he'll admit.

Because the man is basically a saint. He helps when needed of him, he's wise and eloquent, and he has the strangest sense of humour Xue Yang has ever seen.

Daozhang's smile is warm and genuine, and Xue Yang can't see his eyes, but he bets they would match Xiao Xingchen's lips.

And his lips taste good too, all of Daozhang's body does. Specially when Xue Yang licks him all over, bites him, bruises him and has him asking for more.

Daozhang is perfect.

And Xue Yang never thought he'd use that word for something, much less someone, but he simply is.

He still hates his guts, though.

Can't help but think to himself

I hope you die a horrible death.

But please, please, take me with you.

Take me to the bottom of the sea

Take me anywhere but don't leave me

But until his wishes come true, until his Daozhang dies, he hopes to be by his side and live this simple life.
