Chapter 1
Emmett's POV
my family and I were living on this world for about hundred years already; and here we are packing our stuffs because it's time to move to Forks again. It's been what? Hundred years since we left but my feelings for that place still stays the same, excited, sad and SCARED.
This last few months Alice are having this visions about this girl and to be exact this is what she said to us one time I saw her again
"Emmett, it's Rose"
It bothered me so much when Alice finally confirmed to all of us who she saw; well except Edward he kept it from all of us specially to me because I think he knows this is a very sensitive topic for me and I respect him for that.
As I was done packing I laid down on my bed and I sighed deeply not that I need it but I think it makes my feelings a little better.
"Knock knock"
I heard someone said, when I looked at the door I saw Esme at the door smiling so warmly at me.
I sat quickly on the bed and I waited for her to get closer to me.
"Are you done packing?" She asked me
"Yes mom" I replied
she holds my hand when I think she felt the uneasiness that I'm feeling right now.
"Don't worry, I'm sure this time everything will be alright" she said to me
I smiled weakly at her and I gripped her hands a little tight.
"I just hope that this time in her life she's not going to experience all those hardships and painful life she had before" I replied
Esme hugged me, and I know if I can cry I did it already.
"Son, before I don't believe in vampires but looked at now I am one. What I'm trying to say is that she is reincarnated for a reason and if she did experience all of that again I know this time you will do what it takes to keep her safe."
After that Esme kisses me in my cheeks and she stood up and walked to the door, when she was about to leave she looked back to me again and smiled
"Get ready the trucks are will arrived in ten minutes"
After she said that I nodded and I stared at the photo in my table.
"Rosalie we're going to meet again"
Chapter 2
Emmett's POV
we arrived already in Forks and to be honest nothing has changed, well there's a few new buildings but the ambiance is still the same.
It still feels like yesterday when I was here I can still remember all of the good things and bad things that had happened here and to be honest I still felt that heart ache that I had hundreds of years ago.
Edward and Jasper tapped my shoulders lightly maybe because Jasper felt my emotion and Edward heard what I am thinking.
"So are you ready to go school tomorrow?" Asked Carlisle after we got settled in our old house that we used here before.
Bella, Alice, Edward, Jasper and I just stared to each other Smiling fakely because we get the chance to be high school again and to be honest it is really awful.
I was busy exploring the house with my sibling when Carlisle called me downstairs.
"Emmett a word please?"
When I heard him said that I used my vampire speed to go to his office and when I arrived I saw him fixing some of his medical books that he had.
"Carlisle you called me?" I said
Carlisle smiled at me and he continued to fix books.
"How are you feeling moving back to Forks again?" He asked
I stared at him shocked because even I didn't know what I am feeling.
"To be honest I don't know" I answered as I walked closer to him and I handed him some of his books.
Carlisle smiled again to me and he put his arms around my shoulder.
"It's Okay to be afraid son, but remember if you are afraid don't forget that we your family is always by your side okay?" He said.
I nodded at him and I smiled weakly.
"Thank you… Dad" I replied and when he heard me said that a big smile appeared on his face.
Tomorrow came like a snap of a finger and now my siblings and I are in the canteen and there I saw her Rosalie a smile quickly formed on my face but it quickly disappeared when I saw the guy beside him.
In an instant all the happiness that I'm feeling changed to pain when all the flashbacks poured in my mind and all that I can say to my siblings were.
"I think all of what happened in past is happening again"
Chapter 3
Emmett's POV
Few hours earlier.
Esme waved us goodbye before we drove off to school. Because we are the new students all of them are staring at us and we literally heard they are talking about us. We arrived in the middle of the semester so the five of us were sure that we have a lot of catching up to do.
When I got all my schedules and etc. I quickly got into my room. When I entered the room went quiet maybe because they are intimidated by my size or because I am the shiny new toy at this school.
I gave my form to my teacher and I let her signed it. After that she pointed out the empty chair at the back of the class room saying that it is my seat.
Half of my day isn't so bad but the time really does move slowly when you're at school.
My siblings and I went together at the canteen and when we arrived it becomes silent.
"I hate this feeling being stared at" Bella said to low for human ears.
Edward and I chuckled when we heard her said that.
"When are you going to become used to it?" Alice asked
"I don't know? Maybe forever?" She answered while we are busy getting some food that we know we aren't going to eat.
"Forever is a long time my friend" Jasper replied when he gets the tray from Alice hands. Causing Edward and I to chuckle more.
"Quiet!" Bella said in a sharp tone but still too low on human ears.
After that we seated on the vacant table that is very away from the humans. After we seated them all ignored us again and they continued talking about with their lives. But still there are a few students who looked to the five of us and talked about us.
Jasper and I were busy teasing Edward when I smelled that familiar scent. I quickly scan the canteen and there I saw her. Looking so beautiful as ever and alive! I was so happy to see her even though I know she didn't know me. But my happiness quickly went away when some guy pulled her and kissed her on her lips. When my siblings and I recalled who it was we all stared at each other shocked.
"Royce" Alice said.
Chapter 4
Emmett POV
I quickly stood up and I walked outside of the canteen; and when I was sure nobody is looking I ran to the woods to clear my head but it didn't help. I can still remember what happened that night.
I shouted, I punched some trees, I lifted up some big rocks and throw it away to ease all the pain and anger that I am feeling right now. All those years I thought I completely moved on but now I can say that my anger never really went away.
When I realized I need to go to school again I ran quickly and I went directly to my next class.
"Great I'm late" I mumbled
When I arrived I saw that the teacher was already inside discussing whatever it is. I knocked lightly and when I entered all of them mumbled to each other.
"Mr Cullen Right?" The teacher asked
"Yes ma'am" I replied
"You're late" she said
"I got lost" I lied
the teacher gave me a smile and she lets me in.
"Next time don't be late" she said as she signed my form.
"Yes ma'am" I answered.
After the teacher handed me the form I was about to walk to the empty seat when she called me again.
"Mr Cullen I want you to properly introduce yourself" she said
I stared at my teacher shocked but I still introduces myself.
"Hello, I'm Emmett Dale Cullen we just moved down here from Alaska and you can call me Emmett or Dale" I said as I stared everyone from the room and there I saw her staring back at me.
"So girls any more question to Mr Cullen" the teacher asked the girls in our class
"Do you have girlfriend?" Someone shouted
I stared at Rosalie before answering.
"I have before, but now I'm single" I said causing all the girls to scream while Rosalie smiled back at me.
"Okay girls that's enough" the teacher said to them while she pointed out the empty seat next to Rosalie.
Chapter 5
Emmett's POV
I put all my things at the table and I sat. I was about to write all the notes from the board when Rosalie spoke.
"So you're from Alaska?" She asked
I looked at her but she not staring at me she is busy copying some notes.
"Yeah." I answered at her then I looked at my notebook and I opened them.
"Your family must love cold places?" She asked me again.
A smile form on my lips because she didn't changed at all still curious and friendly at the same time.
"Why did you say that?" I asked as I catch a glimpse of her looking at me.
"Because Alaska is a cold place, and now you're Family moved here The wettest place in the Continental U.S" she said
"Guilty, my family does love cold places" I answered back at her who's now staring at me.
She smiled at me warmly and she gave her hand to me.
"Rose Lillian Hale" she said
I shook her hands.
"Rosalie" I said back to her while I was busy memorizing the softness of her hand. God I missed her touch.
She smiled confused and spoke again.
"No, just Rose"
"I'm sorry" I replied while I pulled out my hands.
"It's fine, you're not the first person to think that my name was Rosalie" she said
"I felt relieved when you said that" I said back to her causing her to laugh. Her laughs still sounded like a laugh of an Angel.
"Nice to meet you Rose" I continued
"Nice to meet you too Emmett" she said back while smiling so warmly to me.
Chapter 6
Emmett's POV
The Class with Rose went great. I felt so happy that I get the chance to see her again and to meet her again.
We boys were waiting for Alice and Bella to arrive here at the parking. I was busy talking with the boys when Jasper suddenly become quiet.
I looked where he was staring and I saw Rose with her friends while Royce is hugging her.
Rose is staring back at me and she waved to me. A smile quickly form on my face and I waved back to her. When Royce saw that I waved back to Rose he stared at me angrily and he kissed Rose hard causing Rose to push him away from her. Royce pulled her hardly inside his car.
I was about to walk closer to them but Alice stopped me.
"Not here, there are many people" Alice said
"But he might hurt her" I said back to her.
"No, I saw it already they will only fight but he will not hurt her. So relax" after Alice said that I just tightly closed my hand and I watched Rose and Royce drove away from school.
When we arrived to the house I went to my room and I laid down. I'm not tired or anything but I feel like I really need to lay down.
I can't help not to worry at Rose, I promised myself that I'm going to protect her this time but what's happening right now is like before I can't protect her because of our family secret.
Chapter 7
Emmett's POV
I spent my night looking at Rose sleeping. When I arrived at the house I saw my family busy watching some movies.
"Hey, so how's Rose?" Bella asked me.
I starred at her confuse because she knows where I went.
"How did you know?" I asked
"Duh? Isn't it obvious? This isn't the first time you did that. Even before you are watching her sleeping" Alice but's in.
I just smiled to all of them and I ran quickly upstairs.
"Where are you going? You didn't answer my question" Bella said
"I'm going to take a shower because in an hour we're going to leave for school" I answered.
When we arrived at the school I saw Rose reading some book inside her car while she is listening some music to her earphones.
"What are you waiting for? Go talk to her" Jasper said
I smiled at him like a total idiot but I obliged. I was a fifty steps away from her car when Royce knocks on her window hard. That it cause me to stop walking closer
"Get out there! We need to talk!" Royce yelled
But Rose just looked at him and she continued to read on her books. Royce was pissed off so he kicked Rose car and he went away.
When I saw that I walked back to my siblings again who is staring at me confused.
"Why didn't you go to her?" Asked Jasper
"I just want to give her some privacy" I explained then after that we heard the bell.
I was getting some books on my locker when I know someone is staring at me behind my back. I act human that's why I decided to continue what I'm doing, when I'm done getting all the stuff that I need I closed the door of my locker and face who it was I saw Royce with some of his friends that started at me like they are disgusted.
"Hey newbie" Royce spat at me.
I just looked at him straight and I waited for him to spoke again.
"I'll just make this quick and simple. I don't want you near my Girlfriend you got that?" He said while he was walking closer to me until his face is much closer to me.
"And who are you to tell me that?" I said to him in my most serious tone.
I can say that Royce and his friends got a little scared of my tone but they tried to hide it. He pushed me back in my locker as hard as he can but because I'm incredibly strong I didn't move a bit.
I smiled at him in my sinister smile and said to him.
"My turn" I was about to punch him but someone yelled.
"Mr King and Mr Cullen in the principal's office now!"
Chapter 8
Emmett's POV
I was with these idiots sitting in front of the Principal while they are busy defending themselves.
The principal shushed them and he looks at me like he was waiting for my explanation.
"Sir I know there is a CCTV camera here in school; the video that was taken ago was enough evidence that I didn't do anything to start the fight or hurt Mr King." I said
Esme and Carlisle talked to the principal while I was waiting outside; and I realized even before that Royce really is a gigantic pain in the ass.
After a few more minutes the principal called me again inside his office.
"We saw already the footage and we saw that you didn't hurt Royce and his friends, however we also saw that you're going to punch him so for that we're going to suspend you for two days but not like the suspension we gave to Mr King who started the fight" the principal said.
"Thank you so much for your consideration" Carlisle said
after that talk Carlisle and Esme shook the hands of the school principal and we left.
As soon as we got out I faced my parents and I looked at them with a sorry face.
"Mom… Dad I'm sorry" I said at them
the both of them smiled and Esme hugged me.
"Shhhhhh. Don't worry about it. I know how you feel about that guy so we understand you" Esme said to me
My parents and I were walking on the way to parking lot when we heard someone calling my name when I turned around I saw Rose running closer to me.
"Rose? What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?" I asked while waiting for Rose
Rose is panting as she walks closer to me. As soon as she got in front of me she touches my arms and she scans it.
"Are you hurt? I heard everything" she said while she continued scanning my body.
Smiled crept into my lips when I realized that she is somehow concerned with me.
"Don't worry I'm fine" I answered
She stared at me worriedly.
"Are you sure? You're not lying?" She asked
I was about to answer her when Esme called me.
"Emmett your father and I will see you at the house okay?" Mom said while she is looking at me in dad's passenger seat.
"Okay" I replied then Rose and I waited for them to leave before we start our conversation again.
"How many days are you suspended" Rose asked
"Two days" I answered
"So today is Wednesday you're going to miss Thursday and Friday class?" She asked
"Yeah, you actually did the math" I said while chuckling, but I got quiet when I saw her glaring at me while her arms is crossed in her chest. Some things never changed she always did that even before.
"Give me your phone" she said
"Why?" I asked her
"Just give me your phone" she said irritated
I don't know why but I obliged. After she gets the phone in my hands she stared typing something.
"Here's my phone number. Give me a call Friday night so that we can settle where we're going to meet each other this weekend"
She handed the phone to me again.
"Why are we going to see each other this weekend? Are we going on a date or something?" I asked
I heard her giggled lips when she heard me say date.
"No silly, we're going to study" she replied then she started to run away from me. She's not that far away when I called her again.
"Rose?! Why are you doing this?" I yelled
She turned at her back to face me and she smiled
"I don't know, I just want to" she yelled back then she waved her hands at me goodbye
"See you this weekend" she continued
Then she run inside the school again.
Chapter 9
Emmett's POV
"This have got to be the longest two days of my life!" I mumbled to myself but because I was in the house full of vampires I know they heard it that's why they all laughed
"So you and she got a date huh?" Alice asked
I stared at her weirdly then I looked back at the TV again.
"No, we're going to study" I replied
"Cut the crap Emmett we know it's a date" Alice insisted
"Nope. I already told you it's not a date because she's the one who said it is not a date" I said while still staring at the TV seriously
Alice just stared at me in her teasing smile.
"Okay I give up! For me it is a date but for her it's not! You happy now?" I replied in an irritated tone
my sibling laughed at me when they heard me said that.
"Yes Emmett, that's how we feel every time you're teasing us" Edward said. I completely forgot that he is a mind reader.
I stood from the couch and I leave the leaving room.
"Hey we're are you going big guy? Bella asked
"I'm going to hunt" I replied at them. I just used that as an excuse because I can't take the teasing from my sibling anymore.
It was already 10pm at Friday when I decided to call Rose and it only took a three rings before she picked up.
"Hello?" She answered
"Hey Rose, it's me Emmett" I said back
"Hey? I've been waiting for your call" she said
I can't hide the happiness I am feeling when I heard her said that.
"I'm sorry, to be honest It's because I don't know what time to call you" I said
She chuckled.
"Well next time call a little early it's because my bed time is 9pm."
"Okay" I answered sounding happily.
"So, is it okay if we just study in your house? So that it won't be a hassle for you" I said
"But I want to get out of the house" she replied quickly
"Okay? Where do you want to meet then? In a coffee shop? How about in my house" I asked her
"Your house sounds good" she said on the other line.
"Okay it's in my house then. What time should I pick you up?" I asked
"No you don't need to do that. You just can give me the location and I can drive there myself" she replied
"But Rose I want to pick you up in your house" I said
"Okay, if you insisted pick me up around 2pm? I`ll text you my address" She said
"Cool" I replied and I continued "good night Rose"
"Good night Emmett" she said then she hangs up.
Chapter 10
Emmett's POV
it's almost two in the afternoon when I leave our house. When I arrived at her house I heard from the door that she is watching some news.
I knocked on the door and a few minutes later she opened it with toothbrush on her hands.
"Come in I'm sorry, I promise after this we're ready to go" she explained herself.
I just smiled at her and I entered her house. I can say that she is still a clean freak like the Rose I've met before hundred years ago.
She walked to the CR and she continued to brush her teeth. I scan around the living room and I looked at the pictures hanging on the wall. It's her and her mom and dad.
"Where's your mom and dad?" I asked
she walks closer to me while wiping her mouth and hands using a towel.
"Heaven. Car accident two years ago. I live on my own now" she replied
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to pry" I replied
She just smiled at me.
"Don't be, I'm fine really! I'm used to living on my own anyways because mom and dad were always busy on their work when they are still alive and I'm not boasting or anything but they leave me enough fortune to make my whole life comfortable" she explained as she gets all the books that we needed and her bags.
Rose and I were talking about some stuffs when she suddenly becomes quiet.
"Why what's wrong?" I asked her
But it took her a few minutes before she answered again because she is busy looking around in the window of my jeep.
"Dejavu" she replied
I stared at her with a smile on my face.
"Why is there a dirt on my face?" She asked when she realized that I've been staring at her
"None. So you believe in that kind of stuffs huh?" I asked her
"Why am I that weird to you?" She asked
"No! No. No." I replied "to be honest Rose I believe in Reincarnation" I continued
"Really?!" She said ecstatically
"Yes why?" I asked
"Because you see this?" She pointed the birthmark on her wrist "they said that the birthmark you have in your body is connected in your past life and they said that it is something to do with your death" she explained
I smiled at her weakly after she said that because her explanation was true.
In her past life Royce tied her wrist tightly before she died and that birthmark on her wrist is the proof that the Rosalie I loved before and the Rose I am talking today is connected.
"Emmett?" Rose tapped my arms lightly
"Yeah?" I said
"You're lost in your own thoughts" she said.
"I'm sorry I'm just thinking about your explanation earlier" I lied
"Okay" she said then she looks at the window again.
After a few minutes we arrived in the Cullen Mansion. As soon as Rose saw the house she tightly clawed the edge of my shirt and she looked at me worriedly.
"I know I will sound crazy, but I know this house and Emmett…"
"What?" I asked her
"I've been here"
Chapter 11
Emmett's POV
Rose shook her head and she laugh at herself.
"Why would I be here right?" She said to me then she continued "you just moved here"
I stared at her worriedly because what`s happening right now is a proof that the Rose beside me right now is the reincarnated version of Rosalie I know before.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" she asked me with a smile on her face.
"How?" I asked as I looked away from her.
"Like you`ve been very sorry" she explained.
I faked smiled again at her and lied
"You have a very wild imagination"
Causing her to laugh. After that we entered the house.
"Wow you`re house it is really big" she said as she looked around inside while I hang our jackets in the coat rack.
I can`t help really not to smile at her reaction because she is as curious as ever.
"Come on, I'll introduce you first to my family then after that we can go to my room already so that we can start studying" I said
She stared at me happily that if she would shine I will be blinded by now.
"Of course! That`s what a gentleman should do." After that she grabs my hands then we walk upstairs. When we finally came we saw our family in the living room watching TV. I know they know that we are here already but they are acting humans so they pretended to watch.
"Hey" I said to my family causing all of them to look at us the same time.
Rose and I walk closer to them and Rose Greeted them with hugs. My family stared at her with shocked because that`s exactly what Rosalie did before every time she saw my family.
"Uh- mom this is Rose, she is here to help me study" I explained
"it`s nice to meet you Rose" Esme said to her.
"The pleasure is mine ma`am" she answered
"So this is my step brothers and sisters, Alice, Jasper, Bella and Edward" I said to Rose and I pointed each of them
She smiled gladly at them and my siblings did the same.
After a little talk Rose and I left them in the living room and I heard my family talk to each other how happy they feel for me.
"So this is my room" I said to Rose as I open the closed door. She looked shocked to be exact.
"This room of yours is really big" she said as she walked in and she looked around, and as an open books as ever she walked directly to the book shelf I have in my room.
"Really you have a complete set of the Winnie the Pooh?" she asked me while she is pointing the books.
"Yeah" I answered then I walked closer to him. "Why?" I continued
"Such a kid at heart for a big guy like you" she said then she turned around to face me.
I giggled when I heard that Rosalie used to say that to me all the time.
"You`re always laughing" she said to me in a confused way.
After that Rose placed her bad on top of my bed then she sat on the edge of the bed as she took out all of the books in her bag.
"Sit" she said to me when she saw I was still standing looking what she is doing.
I took my notebook on the top of my table then I sat beside her on the bed.
Chapter 12
Emmett`s POV
"The Japanese bombed the American Fleet in pearl harbour, Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941" I answered to Rose Question.
"That is Correct" she said to me with a smile and a confuse look on her face.
"Are you sure you are not cheating or something?" she asked me.
"Of course not!" I defended myself.
I giggled at my thoughts because I was alive even before that bombing took over.
"what`s so funny?" Rose asked me when she saw that I am giggling on my own.
"Nothing" I lied. Rose stretched her legs because she is sitting on an Indian sit for too long now.
"Aren't your legs numb?" she asked me while staring at me, she noticed that I've been sitting the exact sitting I've been for the last hour.
"Yeah, now" I said then I straightened up my legs. Rose was about to asked me another question when I heard my mom walking upstairs; I also smelled that she bought some food"
After a few seconds she knocked on the door. Rose jumped out of the bed and she is the one who opened the door.
"I ordered Pizza for you Rose" Esme said then she handed the box to her.
"Thank you ma`am" Rose answered politely then she looked at me so happy because even before pizza is her favourite food.
"I'll leave now, so that you can continue to study" Esme said then she smiled to the both of us then she left, right after that Rose closed the door and she ran quickly to the bed.
"Pizza is my…" I finished her sentence for her while I was scanning through my history book.
"yeah pizza is you favourite food" after I said that the room fell quiet causing me to look at Rose, and I saw her staring at me shocked because why the hell I know it is her favourite when this is the first time we hangout.
"How the hell did you know?" she asked
I sat up straight thinking the best alibi I could use for her.
"Well who doesn`t love pizza?" I answered
A smile quickly form on her face when she heard my explanation.
"Yeah, who doesn`t" then she took a big bite then she gave me a slice of pizza.
"Eat with me" she said.
I shook my head and answered.
"I don`t eat pizza" well that`s the only excuse I can say because I can`t say to her that we don`t eat because I am a vampire.
"Why? Are you worried that if you ate pizza today you might lose your hot body tomorrow when you wake up?" she said teasing me.
"So I am hot?" I asked causing her to look shy and looked away.
"I didn`t said that?" she said then she took another bite of her pizza.
"Yeah you did" I said teasing her a little more.
"Come on lets study" she took the book in my hand then she covered her blushing face using the book.
Chapter 13
Emmett`s POV
It`s almost 10 pm when we finished studying, and to be honest I felt so happy that I get the chance to hang out with Rose again. I took her home.
I opened the car door for Rose and I help her got out of my jeep.
"So this is me" she said.
"Yeah, thanks I have a great night" I said to her while I was staring at her sincerely in her eyes.
"Me too, I really had a great night" she replied, we didn`t talked after that we just stared at each other with smile on our faces. I moved my face closer to her and I was shocked when I saw her she closed her eyes like she is waiting for me to kiss her.
I don`t know but I didn`t kiss her on the lips instead I hold her face and I kissed her on her nose. After that I saw the disappointed look on Rose eyes and it made me giggled.
"it`s weird" she said
"Why?" I asked her
"Because the kiss on the nose that you gave me it feels familiar" she said and continued
"But to be honest I thought you`re going to kiss me in the lips" she said to me
"I thought so too" I answered.
After that Rose waved goodbye and she entered her house, when I saw her looking at me through the window I waved goodbye then I drove away.
The weekend comes very slowly, this is the first again in a long time that I wished to be Monday again because I want to see Rose again. So when it is finally to go to school already I almost dragged all my siblings out of the house so that we can go to the school already. But sadly I didn`t get the chance to see her the whole day because she didn`t come to school.
My siblings and I were ready to go home when I asked Alice for a favour.
"Alice" is all I said to my sister when she smiled at me knowing I want to ask her about Rose.
Alice stares into space for a few minutes after that she stared at me with a sorry face.
"Why? What`s wrong?" I asked
"it`s Rose, I saw that she had a bruise on her face"
After I heard that I jumped from my jeep and I left my siblings in the school.
Chapter 14
Emmett`s POV
"Rose" I yelled in front of the door while knocking.
I know she is just right behind the door because I can smell her, but she is not opening up.
"Come on Rose, open this up I just want to see you" I said
I sighed deeply when she still didn`t open the door.
"Okay, I'll just see you tomorrow then" I said to the door I was about to walk to my jeep again when suddenly the front door opened.
I ran quickly inside but I make sure that I didn`t use my super speed. As I entered I saw Rose wearing pyjamas and she is wearing a big hoodie that it almost covered her face.
I let her close the door before I sat down on the couch.
"You want water?" she asked me while her face is bowed down.
I stood up and I walked closer to her, then I took out the hood from her head then I brushed off the blonde curls of Rose off from her face and there I saw she had a bruised cheeks.
I clenched my jaw and I tightly closed my fist when I saw that.
"Royce?!" I asked in anger
Rose just nodded then she looked away as her tears began to fall from her eyes.
"He should pay for this!" I said to Rose, I turned my back on her and I walked closer to the door to get Rose a revenge when Rose stopped me by hugging me from the back.
"Don`t leave me" she said
I actually calmed down a bit when she did that.
Rose and I were watching TV while her whole body is cuddled to me. I was staring at her the entire time and to be honest I can`t help not to be worried for her.
"Rose" I said her name then I sat up straight causing Rose also to pull out from her cuddle to me.
"What?" she asked
"Tell me since when did this start?" when she heard what I asked she looked away.
"I don't want to talk about this" she replied coldly
"Rose, I want to help you but I need to know what`s going on here" I said as I hold her hands.
After that Rose looked at me straight then I saw tears starting to form in her eyes. After that she pulled out her hands from me then she zip open her hoodie and there I saw that she is only wearing a bra underneath and as I scan her body she had a lot of bruises.
My jaw drop at the sight of her body. I shut my eyes because my heart sank when I saw her body full of bruises. After that I opened my eyes again and I traced her bruises lightly.
"It started month after my mom and dad died. Remember when I tell you that my parents leave me enough fortune? Well that money is in the bank and the Kings own them. Actually I've been breaking up with Royce for a long time ago now, because he is selfish, self-centred, plus he hurts me because I always refused on sleeping with him. Were childhood sweethearts but every time he asks for sex I am always saying no; it frustrates him so he just beats me up.
"Why don`t you just make it official then? Your break up?" I asked as I zip the hoodie of Rose.
"Because he keeps on blackmailing me that I will never get the money from their bank if I broke up with so I just stayed on our relationship." She explained
"So you mean he hit you in the face because he is asking to sleep with you again and you refused?" I asked
"no, a friend of him saw the two of us the other night, and he said it Royce; so the next morning Royce comes in here and she slapped me in the face saying I am such a bitch then after that he tried to rape me luckily one of my neighbour heard that I am shouting causing him to ran away." She explained.
After I heard that I hugged her tightly, I can't fucking believe that even in reincarnation Royce is still the same asshole. I cooed Rose until she calm herself down.
Chapter 15
Emmett`s POV
When I think Rose is calmed down I grabbed her hands and I asked where her room is.
"I used the Master`s bedroom upstairs, why?" she asked
I didn`t answer I just hold out her hands and I pulled her with me upstairs. When we entered I quickly scan the room and I saw her traveling bag on top of her closet and I took it and I places it on top of Rose bed.
"Pack" I said to Rose
"Why?" she asked confused but then she still obeyed and she walks to her closet and she grabbed some of her clothes.
"You`re going to stay with me, you are much safer in my house" I said then I helped her pack.
"Also bring all your important papers" I said then she nodded and she pulled out from her closet a long sized envelope containing all her certificates and passport; after packing I carried her bag and let her close her house then we left.
When we arrived in front of the house Alice opened it and she looked at me like she already know we were coming already. Alice and Bella accompanied Rose in the living room as I carried Rose traveling bag then I went to look for dad.
"Dad" I yelled
"I'll be down in a minute" I heard my dad said he is upstairs in his office.
After that I gave Rose a glass of water and I waited Carlisle to walk downstairs. Dad tapped my shoulder.
"Dad please check her" I asked my dad.
Carlisle stared at me in his fatherly stare then he sat in front on Rose but Rose refused.
"it`s fine Emmett" she said and she continued "it`s just a few bruises it will heal after a few days"
Dad spoke this time.
"Rose, honey you can trust all of us here in this house, were not going to hurt you. It is necessary for me to check you up to see if you have broken bones or worse you have a blood clot on your head" Rose looks defeated so she stared at me like she is asking for my help.
I smiled weakly "Rose please it is for your own good" I said
Rose looked back to dad and she swallowed nervously "as long as Emmett is with the entire time" I stared at Rose shocked because to be honest I didn`t expect her to say that. Carlisle smiled then he nodded his head.
"We will do the check up after you eat" dad said then he left us in the living room. Dad stared at me then he whispered "your mom cooked something in the kitchen so get her to eat she looks so weak" I nodded to dad and I gave him a thankful smiled and I whispered to low that only us vampire can hear "thanks dad." Carlisle just smiled then he walks upstairs to his office again.
My mom looked so happy preparing a food for Rose, because after a hundred years she gets the chance to cook again.
"There is only one plate?" she asked as her seat on the dining table.
"We already ate dear" mom answered as she places the food on the table in front of Rose.
"How about you?" she asked me.
"I'm on a diet" I lied but even though it is a lame excuse I think Rose buys it.
"This looks yummy" she said gladly to mom, while Esme is staring at her happily.
"Eat darling" Esme just replied, when Rose was about to grabbed the Fork she stared back to Esme in a sincere way.
"Thank you so much, you don`t even know me that well but you opened your house to me and you even served me food. Thank you" Rose said
Esme smiled and she answered "you`re not different from us" after she said that Esme gave me a kiss on my head then she left Rose and I in the dining room.
Chapter 16
Emmett`s POV
After Rose ate we went to my room and I let her use the shower. After she is fully dressed we went straight to Carlisle`s office. When I was about to open the door I felt Rose clawed her fingers on my shirt. I looked down to Rose and I wrapped my arms around her as we entered the office, there we saw Carlisle.
"it`s going to be fine" I said to Rose she just smiled weakly at me but her hands is still clawed on the edge of my shirt.
Carlisle was setting everything up, she smiled at her and then he began.
"Alright Rose, I am going to need you to take off your shirt so that I can look at your back.
She nodded and brought the back of her shirt up and over her head. The front of her shirt still covered her breast which I was glad for. Now was not the time to get all hot and bothered.
Carlisle gasped when he saw her back. I moved around to where he was standing so I could take a look myself. What I saw horrified me. There were purple bruises all the down her back; Carlisle moved his hands up and down to see if there are abnormalities.
The rest of the physical went like that. Rose would uncover more of herself and we would see what that monster had done to her just because Rose doesn't want to sleep with him.
Bella and Alice had taken Rose upstairs so that she could clean up. I was in Carlisle Office as he went over the results.
"what`s wrong?" I asked

Emmett`s POV
Ass I took another step in my room were Rose is staying I can`t help not be sad at my angel, I thought I was too early to save her from Royce but I was still late too late to protect her. When I entered my room I saw Rose looking at the books in my shelves.
"Why aren`t you asleep?" I asked
She smiled and she pointed the book from the shelf.
"Can I borrow this book?" she asked. A smile begin to form in my face when I saw how lively she is, all her smile can hide all the stress and problem she is facing alone. My poor angel.
"Anything you like to read" I said then I sat on the bed which is facing her and then grabbed her wrist and I pulled her closer to me. I lift my head a little higher because Rose is standing in front of me.
"You knew already?" she asked, she looked so heartbroken that I couldn`t look at her.
"Yeah, I am sorry Rose" was the only thing I can say
She cried and I can hear her sniffles.
"all I wanted was to have a family; to have a husband and to have a child of my own; I read an article in the internet about the causes of physical abuse that`s why I have a weekly therapy session to help myself but I didn`t know that the stressed it caused me can make me infertile" she said then she continued "I didn`t know what I did in my past life that I get treated this way unfairly"
"No Rose, don`t blame your past, blame me, blame me baby because I was too late to protect you from Royce" I said wiping the tears from Rose`s eyes.
"I like you Emmett but I understand if you`re going to like somebody else. Because if end up together I can`t give you a child" she said to me.
"How could you say something like that? I like you okay, I like you" I said to her. Then I cupped her face and I tilted my head up so my gaze met her. She leaned in and she brushed her lips against mine.
Chapter 18
Emmett`s POV
Rose and I stayed in the bed all night and until the next day, I sat propped up on the pillows and she was curled up into my side, Carlisle said that Rose is probably still in shocked of what happened to her the other day. It was already 10 am and we still hadn`t moved from our spot.
"Rose, baby you need to get up and eat something"
She didn`t respond, she just turned her head and buried in into my chest.
As if on cue, Esme came in with a plate of food. Pulled her into a sitting position and Esme put the tray on the bed.
"Here you go sweetheart" Esme said
Rose looked down at the sandwich then she stared at me.

"You need to eat, please Rose Carlisle said you were malnourished" after that she gave in and she ate the food the Esme prepare for her.
After she ate she stood up and she asked me again if she could borrow my books. I just giggled and I nodded at her
"I told you can read everything in there" I reminded her, then after she heard that she sat on the floor and she started to pick the book she wants to read.
"Emmett, can you come down here for a minute" I heard Edward called my downstairs I looked at my watch and I saw it is only lunch time at school why are they home? So I excused myself to Rose and I ran quickly to Carlisle`s office and there I saw all of my family members waiting for me before they started to discuss the problem.
"what`s wrong" I asked
"it`s about Royce" Alice said
"What about that asshole?" I asked
"he is a descendant of Wolf" Japer finished Alice`s sentence.

Emmett`s POV
"How the hell that happened?" I asked
"We don`t know how reincarnation works Emmett, but Royce is reincarnated as a descendant from wolf" Edward explained
"So can he shape shift?" I asked
"No, he maybe a descendant but he is not gifted with that kind of power" Bella explained
"So where this information did comes from" Carlisle Asked?
"From a nomad passing through, they came to meet us at school to warn us about the area that they are still a lot of shape shifters around in here" Japer said
"Does Royce know about this?" Esme asked
"I read his mind and he doesn`t have any idea that we do exist" Edward explained

"plus just like a real shape shifters Royce is affecting the people he is with, I can't see his futures or the person close to him" Alice said
"Emmett, take care of Rose" Bella said and after that talk my sibling left because they need to be at school again.
I went upstairs again and there I saw Rose Reading a black journal in her hand, I was shocked when I realized that she had read the journal of Rosalie. She looked at me with tears on her eyes. I slowly walked closer to her hoping she is not scared at me.

Emmett`s POV
Rose stared at me shocked.
"Emmett it`s not funny" she said as she pace back and forth from me.
"But I am not messing with you, just let me explain all of this" I said as I followed her.
She stopped pacing around then she looks at me.
"Okay explain" she answered sarcastically

Life is hard but I never complain, maybe because I love my family so much and my parents taught me to love and accept who I really was. it was my 20th birthday that my dad decided to hunt a turkey so that we can have a delicious meal on my special day, when dad and I were on the woods I decided that we should split up so that the hunt will be fast, that`s when I realize that splitting up was a big mistake because I was the one who found my own death, I was mauled by a black bear, the bear leave me when he realized that I was dead I and I taught so too that I was dead, after a few minutes Carlisle saw me because he smelled all my blood and he carried me hundreds of miles back to his home with Esme and Edward then he make me a vampire, after that he explain to me what happen and from then on Carlisle and Esme treat me as their own child and Edward as my brother, I owe it all to Carlisle, he had Edward prepare a bag of fortune in hope of easing my family`s pain of losing me. Edward and I personally left it in the porch and I hasn`t looked back since then."
After I said the first part of my story she walks towards me, she grabbed both of my hands and she shivered from the coldness of my body. Then she used her right hand to cup my face. Then I continued my story.
"After two years of being a vampire I met Lillian Rosalie Hale. In the school, she was so beautiful and to be friends with her was the best thing that happened to me and just like what is happening right now to you, I helped her also because she was also abused by her fiancé that time.
She gasped when she heard the last part I said.
"And eventually just like you she also knows my secret, I don`t know what happened we just fell in-love, and Royce happened to know about our relationship causing him to be mad at the both of us. One night Rosalie and I agreed that we will leave Forks and she will come with me whenever I will go. That`s where my biggest mistake took over. Chapter 21
Emmett`s POV
After that explanation Rose spend her night asking me a lot of question about us. It still made me laugh asking her question she is still curious as ever. When I realized that it is late already I forced her to sleep already because I know if I didn`t do that she is going to spend her entire night asking me a lot.
When I know that she is already fell asleep I stared at her for a few good minutes then I went downstairs to talk to my family members because I know they heard about Rose and I little talk.
I received a hugged from Alice as soon as I got downstairs to the living room.
"Were so glad that you and her are now finally together" Esme said as she walks closer to Alice and I she gave me a hug.
"You're not mad?" I asked confused
"No son, she is your mate and she is reincarnated for a reason just to be with you again, nothing makes us happier for you" Carlisle explained
"She is truly your mate" Edward said to me as he tapped my shoulders.
"I am so happy that you get to smile again" jasper said then he also gave me a hug.

After that we spend a little time talking little, then I went upstairs before five minutes before Rose wake ups.

"okay annoying Rose, come on let go downstairs that you can have a breakfast already" I said then jumped out of bed then we both go downstairs to the dining room were we saw Esme preparing some food for Rose.
Chapter 22
Emmett`s POV
Rose holds my hand tightly as we walked along the hallway of the school.
"Why?" I whispered
"it`s because I know I am the gossip of everyone today" she answered
"Don`t mind them, everyone is just jealous" Bella said behind our backs causing Rose and I to look back at her.
"Yeah, she is right" I said

Lunch came, after my class I went directly to Rose last class for this morning and I waited for her in front of the door so that we could go together at the school canteen. She smiled warmly at me when she saw that I was standing waiting for her as soon as she got out of class room.

When we entered through the door the familiar stares continued.
"So you`re very used to in this kind of stares?" she asked me as we walk closer to the table where my sibling is already seated on the table that our family always use.
"After a decade or two were kind of used to it" I said causing Rose to stare at me shock.
"Really? That`s long how it takes for me to get used to in this kind of stares" she asked
I just giggled and I kissed her hands after that I pulled out a set for her.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked her.

"We don`t eat Rose, we just grab some food here so that we can blend in naturally"

After that I stood up and left so that I can get Rose some food"

Emmett`s POV
I was on the line to get some food when I smell the familiar smell behind my back.
"Where are you hiding her?" the devil himself spat at me.
"Somewhere you can`t find her" I answered
"You don`t want to mess with me Cullen." Royce said behind my back as he shoved the tray at my back, it was simple move but I know he is just getting on my nerves.
"hit me with tray one more time and I swear I'll make you`re death looked like an accident" I said at him without looking as I continued to grab Rose some food on the tray that I am holding.
I heard a nervous swallow from Royce and his friend. But he still managed to hide his nervousness from me, I know he was about to hit me from my back when I manage to avoid it quickly because of the vampire instinct that I have.
Royce hit his hand on the food counter causing to make a loud sound noise that it makes all the students stare where the sound comes from. After that I face them and in a second I felt that jasper and Edward is at my back. I looked at the table where the girls were seated and I saw Rose is staring at me with a worried look.
"Any problems here Boys?" we heard one of the teachers said staring at us, while his hands is crossed in his chest.
"Nothing Mr. Molina" Royce said
Then Royce took his tray again and he walks past at me with his minion hitting my shoulder hardly but even though it is hard it didn't hurt me. After that I looked at my back and I notice that they also hit my brothers in the shoulders.
After that I did the same I get the tray from where I put it before I face Royce earlier and I walked with my brothers to our table again and I places the tray in front of Rose so that she could eat already.
As soon as I got seated beside Rose, Rose looked at me and he put his hands on my thigh.
"What happened there?" she asked.
"Nothing" I answered her as I looked to both of my brothers. After that I look at her again because it makes me anxious that Rose is staring at me the she knows I am lying, same thing never really change.
She stared at me blank in a blank expression then she grabbed her salad then she started to eat. When we heard the bell rang my siblings, Rose and I put our trash in the tray then we places it on the tray area then we all leave as we part our ways to attend our class.
"Rose, why are you walking so fast?" I asked Rose as I tried to catch up with her. But she didn't answer and she ignored me.
"Rose please" I beg because I really can`t stand it when Rose id mad at me even before. But like as always she ignored me then she entered the room without looking at me even though we are classmates in that subject and we are seating beside each other.
All of our teachers were busy today because of the accreditation that the school are having so they just leave us with a lot of seatwork just to fill in the time of our class. I was staring at Rose and still she is ignoring me even though I know she knows that I was staring at her; she just continue doing the seatwork from her chair.
I tear up a little pieces of paper from the back of my notebook and I wrote
"Rose, why are you mad at me?" then I crumpled it then I throw it in Rose table slowly not wanting the teacher to saw that I did something like that. Rose stop writing then she grabbed the paper and she uncramp led it then she read what I wrote.
But she didn't bother to answer she just put the paper in her pocket then she continued to do her seatwork. I tear up another piece again and this time I wrote
"I'm not going to stop doing this until you answer my question" then I threw it at her desk. And just like earlier she read it after that she put the piece of paper in her pocket then she raised up her hands.
"Yes miss hale?" the teacher said
"Can I go to the c.r?" she said
"You may" then after that she stared at me blank then she stood up and she gets out of the room.
A minute after Rose went to the CR. I also made an excuse so that I can go outside and luckily the teacher allowed me to go outside.
Chapter 24
Emmett`s POV
When I got outside of the room I quickly ran to the girls CR and there I saw Rose inside looking at herself in the mirror.
"Rose" I said causing her to gasped because she got shocked.
"What?" she answered
"Why are you mad?" I asked as I walked inside the CR not caring if some girls are still inside and luckily Rose and I were alone.
"Why are you lying?" she answered my question with another question.
"When?" I answered even though I know what she is talking about.
"Yeah lie one more time and I assure you I'm never talking to you again" she said to me causing me to look at her defeated.
"I'm sorry" I said. Then I looked down.
"So care to tell me what happened in the canteen?" she asked
"really it`s nothing, Royce was just asking where are you staying"
"And what did you say?" she asked
"Of course I didn`t tell him" I answered
"Then what is the noise we heard?" she asked again
"Royce is going to punch me but I avoided it causing him to hit the food counter" I explained then her eyes widened and she walks over to me then she scans my body again looking for damages"
"Are you hurt?" she asked, it made me happy because even though she is mad at me she is still concerned.
I hugged her tightly then I whispered in her ears. "I'm a vampire remember nothing`s going to hurt me physically" after that I Heard Rose whimpered and I felt that my clothes in the chest area were Rose face were buried is drenched with tears already.
I pulled out from our hug and I asked her.
"Why are you crying?"
She just hit my chest using her arms "is it that hard to say the truth huh?"
"I'm sorry" I said as I tried to calm her down.
"You better be! Because I don`t want you to get hurt because of me" after she said that I fell silent because that`s exactly what Rosalie said to me nearly hundred years ago. I just forced embrace her as I stroke her blonde hair
"I'm sorry" was only response I said to her.
After the small talk that Rose and I had in the CR everything if fine again, she is on good mood again and she is talking to me again, she even helped me to finish my seatwork together.
Chapter 25
Emmett`s POV
The day went great, plus not only I get the chance to hang out with Rose the entire day but also for the entire night because she is staying at my house already so I am so happy and also looking forward to our future together.
When we arrived at the house, Esme was already done preparing the dinner of Rose, she is very much pleased that Rose is leaving with us because she said she can use all the kitchen ware in the house. While Rose is eating her dinner I went out with the boys so that we could hunt together.
When we arrived I saw Rose, Alice, and Bella were all in the living room having a group study. I kissed her on the forehead after that I went upstairs to take a shower.
After I took a shower Rose was seated on my study table here in my room.
"Your study group with the girls are already done?" I asked as I put on the clothes that Rose laid on top of my bed.
"The boys invited their wife to take a shower with them, who am I to stop them from going with their husband" she explained.
"Then why don`t you come inside the bathroom then and took a shower with me?" I teased.
She just laughed and she stood up and walks closer to me slowly, when she is in front of me she took of my shirt that I just put on myself.
"Rose, what are you doing?" I asked
"You know exactly what I am going to do" she answered as she trace my chest using her small hands.
"Rose, I am strong, like super, I don`t want to hurt you" I explained.

Rose, POV
We had driven for about an hour when the car finally slowed down. We were in the middle of woods. There are lots of places like this in Forks. You know, the kinds of places that are desolate no one would even here you scream.

Carlisle`s POV
We got Rose and laid her on the dining room table. Edward ran upstairs and got my medical bag and I began to examine her. It broke my heart seeing her broken body before and now we are seeing it again. Royce was truly a monster. I immediately started her on an IV and morphine was now making its way through her blood streams.
I touched her stomach and she winced at the slightest pressure. She was bleeding internally, for that much I was sure. All of her other wounds were bad, but not as serious as this.

Rose POV
Burning. I didn`t know how long or when the burning started. I was constant only real conclusion was that I had died and gone to hell.
I thought the pain would never end. But eventually it did.
When I woke up, I looked around and realized that I could see everything. I could see clearly the tiny dust particles in the air, and the threads that wove together to make a blanket that was covering me.
I pulled that blanket down and discovered I was wearing pj shorts and a camisole. My skin was snow white and perfectly smooth.
All of the sudden Emmett burst through the door.
"You`re awake!" he yelled.
His voice was so loud, I cringed away, but he pulled me into his chest anyway and held like his life depended on it.
"Emmett what happened" I asked softly.

Rose POV
The next few weeks move by quickly. The town assumed I was dead and Royce`s remains were found in the burned cabin. The Cullen`s and I moved to a desolate place in Alaska so I could live out my new-born year without temptation.
It was amazing getting to know all the Cullen`s. Alice and I had hit off very well. We both loved to shop and dress up Bella. Edward, Jasper and I had become really close. They were like the big brothers I had always wanted.
As Far as Esme ad Carlisle go, I probably have closest to Esme. She reminds me of mom and she knows exactly what I went through. Living with the Cullen's has been a dream come true. Never in my life would I have thought I would have such an amazing family.
