The bear sighed to himself, the only sound was the faint clicking of his rusted gears as he thought. His remaining, dull blue eye was the only thing visible in the pitch-black room, creating a weak hue on the top of his torn and stained muzzle. He blinked, stiffening for a second as he felt a pair of arms latch onto him, though quickly relaxed as he recognized them. "Freddy!" they whined.
He let out a faint, static-ridden snort. "What is y'all two doin' up?"
"It'S dArK. . ." the doll-like animatronic muttered sheepishly, clinging harder to the bear's tattered vest. This animatronic didn't have as much of a drawl as the other. The bear huffed softly, remaining eye soft.
"Don't worry churself none. Nothin' will hurt y'all."
They kept clinging, something that wasn't new at all. The doll animatronic looked up to him with pleading eyes. "Can you sing?"
He paused, remaining eye flickering slightly. He blinked at them, "Y'all know Ah gave thet up. . ."
The rabbit lowered his ears from the shadows. He knew why. . .
The retired main singer huffed faintly and pet their head gently, "Thet's uh story for uh later tahm." they pouted, though didn't push any further, instead tightening their grip and snuggling into his chest.
He twitched his functional, torn ear, the other heavily tattered and laying limp against his head. He'd protect them if it was the last thing he'd do. He made a promise. . .
But, don't worry, this is a story that starts from the beginning. . . .
This is only the prologue. . .
Real chapters will definitely be longer, so don't worry.
And no, these aren't human animatronics. . .
The animatronics—Like Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, ect.—Have accessories, like coats, vests and all that. . .
Just a few extra things about the characters :
Freddy - He only kept his vest and hat, giving his tattered bowtie to Puppet. He's secretive and protective, and not anything of his 'old self', after something bad happened.
Bonnie - He's definitely a lot jokier than his older 'brother', though is also emotional, and misses the old days. He's the only other that knows how Freddy was before the incident.
Puppet - They cling to Freddy. A lot. They're shy, and the child of the group. They are innocent, and didn't witness any of the terrible things the older mascots did, and they're lucky.
