It was a nice sunny day within The Hidden Leaf Village. Amongst one of the numerous training grounds within the shinobi village, training ground 7 had been accopied by Team 7 or was it Dai-nana-han?
Oh well, who cares. Just know they were there training. And arguing. Most arguing, specifically two members; Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno.
The reason for their bickering was because Naruto had began his daily routine of antagonizing the other member of team seven, that being Sasuke Uchiha. Sakura Haruno, being one of the numerour fangirls of the Uchiha rushed to his defence after Naruto had called him a "dillweed."
"You're so rude and insentitive Naruto." Sakura expressed with her hands firmly placed on his hips, parallel to that of a mother scolding her child.
Whipping his head around and facing her, "I'm insensitive?" The question was laced with disbelief. "This is coming from someone who mocked someone else for being an orphan." Now it was Naruto's turn to treat her as if she was a child. "The hypocrisy sure is beautiful." He couldn't help shake his head at this. Who was she to call him insensitive?
A fit of laughter erupted from Sasuke, who gardnered the confused looks of Sakura and Naruto. Primarily Naruto. Since when could Sasuke laugh? Emos didn't laugh.
"The hypocrisy sure is beautiful." Sasuke quoted Naruto in between his fits of laughs. It wasn't like him to show much emotion, but he couldn't help himself today.
As Naruto had said, the hypocrisy was in fact, beautiful.
"What's so funny?" Naruto understood that Sasuke was laughing at his expense. He didn't like it. He hated being the butt of other people's jokes.
Calming himself, Sasuke confronted Naruto. "I'm laughing because you're an even bigger hypocrite than Sakura is."
"What no..."
"Don't cut me off. Just answer this question. What's worse. Someone who mocks someone else for being an orphan or someone mocking someone else's dead family?"
"What kind of question is this?" Naruto questioned incredulously. "Obviously someone who mocks someone's dead family. What kind of question is this?"
Sasuke nodded, "Ok. Good. Now answer this. What did you tell me after Rock Lee defeated me before before first stage of the chunin exams."
'What did I say?' Naruto mentally queried whilst scratching his chin. Sakura, however beat him to it.
"Was it, and I qoute, "The Uchiha Clan aren't worth much these days."
Sakura earned a nod of confirmation. "Exactly. Naruto here mocked me by using my clan. You know, my dead clan.. How are you going to go use my dead family to mock me? Also, that can also be taken as an insult to my clan itself. I don't really have to explain how fucked up this is, now do I?
Placing his hands within his pocket, Sasuke started to walk away from the training ground, towards his clan's compound. He can train there without any interruptions, but before he left, he faced Naruto with his classic Uchiha smirk, "The hypocrisy sure is beautiful, isn't it Naruto?"
The End.
A/N: I love it when Sakura bashing fics love to bring up the fact that Sakura was insensitive about Naruto being an orphan yet ignore/turn a blind eye to Naruto's mocking of Sasuke using his dead clan/family in Volume 5 chapter 38 of the manga.
Could've easily said, "This is the best you got?" or "I expected more from you Sasuke." No need to bring up the guy's dead family. That's absolutely disgusting.
Yeah you can say he's trying to motivate Sasuke or whatever but no need to bring up and his his dead family to do so. Kakashi himself was shitty to do this during the tree climbing exercise.
Who in the right mind thinks it's ok to mock someone using their dead family?
Both Naruto and Sakura for insensitive fucks for that. But the Sakura bashers will harp on Sakura while forgetting or turning a blind eye to what Naruto did.
Also, yes, Naruto saying "The Uchiha clan not being worth much these days" can be taken as an insult/jab towards the uchiha clan.
Another thing, I can understand that Naruto didn't have parents to raise him and maybe that's why he said that shitty thing is, but the thing is that it isn't justifiable. Just because he wasn't raised by parents doesn't mean he's immune to criticism, it doesn't mean he could do whatever he like. Understanding someone for the actions they take isn't the same as justifying those same actions. I can understand why someone killed someone else who murdered their family, but that doesn't justify killing the the guy who murdered your family.
A good example of this came from an episode of Detective Conan (Eps 169) where a man killed a woman. His name was Yasuyuki Murakawa and the woman he killed went by the name of Michiko Oosawa . What was Yasuyuki's reason for killing Michiko? Well Michiko had killed both his wife and child in a hit and run car accident from 2 years ago and fled the scene. Yasuyuki later then finds out about this when he overheard Michiko talking to her father and laughing about how Yasuyuki didn't know that she was the one who killed his wife and child. She didn't even have a single shread of remorse after killing this guy's family. And she laughs about this. I'll repeat. She fucking laughed about this.
Hearing someone confess about how they killed your family and LAUGHING about how you didn't know, I can sympathize with the guy and understand why he killed Michiko. Do I justify his murder? No, I don't. He should've at least bring this matter up to the authorities. He shouldn't have murdered her.
Also on the note of Naruto's mocking of Sasuke, isn't it ironic that Naruto is mocking Sasuke here? Saying''I guess the Uchiha clan aren't worth much these days'' after Sasuke got rolled by Rock Lee yet Naruto got taken out by a simple trip. Dude actually got knocked out by that lmao and he's mocking Sasuke here who did better against Lee than him? Lmao what a joke.
