"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I am. Just emotional. Just feeling sad and I need to cry it all out."

"What happened?"

"Well, the main character just died, and she was my favorite. She was all pretty and her whole life was ahead of her, and I just can't bear to see her not go on and-"

"Oh honey, it must be awful. Do you want me to sit with you for a while?"

"Yes, please."

"And do you know what the worst part of all of this is!?"

"What honey?"

"I'm watching reruns."

"It's okay Addie, I cry over the TV sometimes too."

"It's not just because I'm pregnant is it?"

"It might be..."

"No, it happened last time, and I wasn't pregnant then."

"Oh, well okay, well it might be making you feel it more this time."

"Maybe."

"Addie are you upset because you're scared you're going to lose us like that family in that show? C'mon, we're tough, we're not going anywhere."

"Just a little."

"We're here, I'm here, and our son's upstairs, we're a big happy family."

"Okay, okay, thank you Mer, I love you."

"No problem, I love you too."

"Kiss it better?"

"Yeah."

"Oh no, I can't watch this, the character loses his job in this episode it's so sad!"

"Okay okay, I'll turn it off and we can take a break from TV."

"Okay."

Two days later:

"Mer, Mer are you okay?"

"HE JUST WANTED TO BE A LAWYER WHYYYYYYYYYYYY!?"

"I KNOW IT IS SO TRAGIC."

"Moms, you need a break. Go outside, get some fresh air. You can sit in my tree fort."

"How did we get so lucky?"

"In Vitro Fertiliztion. And science. And probably biology."
