Mia was a student who had done exceptionally well in her class. She ended up getting a job in her dream industry. She had managed to secure a job at a radio station not all was as it seemed and the company was hiding some dark secrets.
She was a big-ish woman, not fat but slightly over weight. She had dark eyes and dark hair and an infectious smile
On her first day, she checked in at the office. She waited for someone to collect her.
The receptionist, Charlotte buzzed her in.
Mia Good morning, I am the new intern
Charlotte: Ah just wait here, someone will be down to collect you soon.
Down the stairs came a slightly overweight woman with dark hair. She had a large arse. She was sweating as if she had been for a run.
"Good morning, I'm guessing you're our new intern." The woman said.
"Yes, I'm Mia."
"Mia, I'm Catherine ." All of a sudden, Mia heard a loud fart sound.
Pffffrrrrrraaaaapppptttt! Blllffffraapppttt
"Oh excuse me, my morning run upsets my tummy sometimes." Catherine said.
"Don't worry its only human." Said Mia who was trying to brush it off. Did she really just do that?
"Oh yes, it's a human thing indeed." Mumbled Catherine .
Catherine began to show Mia round the office, showing her every room. The rooms were busy with people typing away on their computers. Mia was overwhelmed, she finally thought her dream had come true. Catherine walked over to an office down a corridor. "Let me take you to the boss."
They walked into the room and a man and a woman were in mid conversation.
Catherine : "This is our new intern, Mia"
The boss spoke up,
Ethan: "Good morning, its good to see some new blood around here, this is Sofia, she is my deputy and will be happy to answer any of your questions."
Sofia was also sweating a lot, she looked uncomfortable, she had her hair in a fringe across her face.
Sofia: "Nice to meet you"
Ethan: "What will you be working on?
Mia "I have been looking into UFO sightings and strange signals picked up by people
Ethan: "Ah that sounds interesting, very interesting
There was an awkward silence as Mia felt the eyes of all three examining her up and down.
Ethan: "Catherine will help you settle in"
Catherine lead her down a corridor, to an office. Mia could smell something in the air, she thought it smelt like bad breath.
Catherine : "Here you are, this is your desk, any questions give us a shout."
She scurried back to the office and slammed the door shut.
Catherine : We can't allow her to do anymore research.
Ethan: "She has potential if you know what I mean."
Sofia: "Yes, if there is any trouble I will let you know."
Catherine : "I have heard blon and Jocrassa have arrived back on earth, the plan has moved into the next phase."
Ethan: "Catherine , Tell Jocrassa that the signal will be broadcasting soon."
Sofia: "Are we having a test run tonight?
Pffffrrrrrraaaaapppptttt! Blllffffraapppttt
At that moment she farted
Sofia: "Oh god, there I go."
It was coming to the end of Mia's first day in her dream job, most people had gone home, but she wanted to impress. She stayed typing away at her desk.
Suddenly Catherine appeared as if out of no where.
Catherine : "I thought you'd gone home, we're locking up soon"
Mia "I'll be another ten minutes"
Catherine : "I think you better go now, you can finish that first thing tomorrow."
Mia got up and headed towards the door. Catherine walked back to the office.
Mia headed to the toilets before leaving, upon entering she saw Sofia staring into the mirror. Mia thought she was adjusting her face or something.
Sofia: "Oh hi, I thought you'd gone, I was just putting my makeup on, I've got a big night tonight."
Pffffrrrrrraaaaapppptttt! Blllffffraapppttt
She farted loudly
Sofia: "Sorry, I have Irritable bowels, I think I better use the loo."
As Mia was on the toilet she could here Sofia in the cubicle next to her.
Sofia: "I think its something I ate earlier."
Mia "Are you okay? You sound in pain."
Sofia: "I'm fine, you run along."
As Mia was leaving the toilets she could see a blue light down a corridor, it was coming from Ethans' office. She could hear a strange sound, it sounded like moaning. Scared, she turned back down the corridor towards the exit. She bumped into Sofia who had finished on the toilet. She could see the confused look on Mia's face.
Sofia: "Oh that, it's the lights their always doing strange things in that room. Goodbye Mia, we'll see you tomorrow"
Mia hurried down the corridor to the exit, she tried to brush it all off.
Sofia walked into Ethan's office, the lights now back to normal
Sofia: "I caught that new girl snooping around, we could have been compromised."
A croaky imitation of Catherine 's voice spoke up
"We will have to deal with her later."
Sofia tied her hair back.
A flood of blue light again swept the office
The next day Mia came into work, she was still excited to get stuck in. She sat at her desk, the mood seemed quieter today, there was still a stench in the air. Just then Catherine came into the room.
