They all were happy with their ice cream, and they will go back after this, but something is off.

"Ice cream so good!" Flora exclaimed.

"Agreed!" chorused Maya, Luke, and Trucy.

"Hmm, where is Athena and Apollo?" Nick asked. No one saw any of them in the distance.

"Where are we?" Athena asked.

"I don't know. We forgot to actually pay attention of the directions" Apollo explained in an annoyed tone "If you just follow them, we wouldn't be lost!"

"Then why did you follow me?" Athena asked rhetorically.

"You pulled me here, literally" Apollo retorted.

Athena couldn't think of any good comebacks right then "Uh... I think we should ask our way here"

"You do it" Apollo pushed his workload to Athena nonchalantly.

"Hey! That's not nice" Athena sounded angered "A true gentleman doesn't let someone, especially a lady to do all the work"

"OBJECTION! You're not a lady at all. Not even close." Apollo smirked.

"Excuse me!" Athena was offended "HOLD IT! I used the word 'especially' meaning that it applies to everyone else too. And I am a lady"

"TAKE THAT! You will fix the problems caused by your own self" Apollo realized.

"Ugh, ok" Athena sighed.

Athena then went off to ask people for directions.

"Apollo, Apollo! Where are you?" Athena shouted with her efforts in vain "Where is he!"

Athena then tried to ask people for Apollo's whereabouts

"Excuse me, mister, but have you seen a man wearing a read coat?" "No, I haven't"

"May I ask something, miss? Have you encountered someone with a big forehead?" "Sure, but which one, here, there, or there?"

"Little one, have you seen some guy with a red coat and a big forehead?" Athena was losing hope "Yes, miss, he walked there."

"Thank you!" Athena ran straight to the told direction. She repeated the process again and again,

Every directions she got led her here, Layton's house, with everyone, including Apollo there.

"Apollo, what is this!" Athena screamed.

"I'm so worried about you" Apollo said nonchalantly "with your a ability to always get lost"

"Now, Mr. Justice, A gentleman doesn't speak ill of a lady" Layton lectured with a continuation from Nick "Or both of you will clean the toilet"

"Why me too?" Athena complained.

"Simple, you know that you will get lost yet you did not follow us. And Apollo, for pulling a dangerous prank" Nick explained.

"OBJECTION!" Athena and Apollo chorused

"I did not know that I would get lost"

"It is not dangerous"

"Why are you having a trial without a-" Maya attempted to be a judge again.

"OBJECTION! Apollo, is getting lost dangerous? Athena can't find the directions even with a map and you know that" Nick retorted "As for Athena, you are either acting or you are a completely foolishly foolish fool"

Everyone was thinking. Now is the opportune time for Maya to steal a chance at being the judge, too late again.

"The court is now in session for Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes" Trucy said "It seems that both the prosecution and the defense is ready, since that all of you has been on the session for a while now. Please proceed from the last statement"

"Thank you, your honor. As for the prosecution, OBJECTION! Even if she is really lost, she could just get a taxi!" Apollo replied with ease. As for Athena, would she choose to be acting or be a foolishly foolish fool.

'I need to look at it from another angle, the boss told me this' She reminded herself "Yes! OBJECTION! Your statement contradicts itself. Let assume that I am acting. If I am acting then I knows of the danger. Why would I do an acting that is a danger to me without any gains? Now let assume that I am a foolishly foolish fool, that is on the basis that I do not know of the danger, which seems to be the case, but your reasoning is invalid, because if I am really a foolishly foolish fool, I would still be lost somewhere right now. Therefore, I am not acting nor I am a foolishly foolish fool. And it also means that, I do not know of the danger. And all of that arrives at the conclusion that I am not guilty of not following you with knowledge that I will likely be lost."

Everyone is talking with astonishment in the gallery.

"Order, Order!" Trucy slams her magic stick onto her hand, but the gallery didn't hear that "ORDER!" and they finally fell to silence.

"OBJECTION! To Mr. Justice, what if Ms. Cykes doesn't possess any money at the time being" Nick answered "As for Ms. Cykes, you do not know about the dangers then, but that is extremely unlikely, or impossible, because you had been lost for many times already. Even if you really don't know, then you are still guilty of being bad and not following us because you are supposed to be on track"

"OBJECTION! When did you tell us to follow you?" Athena questioned "I would like it if you provide testimony or evidence"

"Sure thing, I would like to call the entire gallery to the witness stand" everyone was now ready to testify "Please raise your hand if you heard me telling everyone to keep staying together" Hands after hands shot into the air.

It was hopeless for the both of them.

"Does the defense have anything to say?" the judge pressured "If no, then it is time to give the verdict, I declare Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes, GUILT-"

"OBJECTION! I knew Ms. Cykes has money since I asked her before, and here is the evidence!" Apollo showed everyone Athena's wallet. Athena can't think of a good comeback yet, and Apollo's objection bought her some time.

"TAKE THAT! Even if everyone heard Mr. Wright saying that, but I did not hear it, so I would like anyone to please describe everyone's action then, including me" Athena smirked.

"I remembered that, when we were getting out, I ran out, that's all" Maya gave a statement.

"Correct, it means, Ms. Fey and I wouldn't hear anyone back there" Athena deduced "For confirmation, would Ms. Fey please testify?"

"Sure thing"

Testimony - Maya's Testimony

"I opened the door, and ran off, I didn't hear anything.

"One of the shortest testimonies indeed" Nick complained.

Cross Examination - Maya's Testimony

"I opened the door, and ran off, I didn't hear anything"

"HOLD IT!" Nick slammed on the desk "Where was everyone else when you ran off?"

"I don't know, I don't see anyone running in front of me" Maya replied

"Did you ever look back?"

"No"

"Could you please describe the situation in best detail as possible?" Nick requested.

"Sure! We were all sitting on the table, talking to each other. Then Professor stands up and ask if we would all want a walk. I did not reply and then opened the door and run out" Maya explained.

"HOLD IT! After you run out, did you hear anyone give a warning/instructions?" Nick questioned.

"No" Maya answered.

"See? Mr. Wright, this has proven that I did not hear your warning at all" Athena rubbed.

"Ugh, fine." Nick mumbled in devoid of hope.

"Would the judge give the verdict now?" Athena applied pressure.

"Sure thing! I declare Athena Cykes and Apollo Justice, NOT GUILT-" the judge is interrupted.

"OBJECTION! Ms. Fey is in front of you, therefore even if Ms. Fey did not hear the warning, it doesn't conclude that you wouldn't hear me, especially when accounting your sensitive hearing" the hope for the prosecution returns.

'Oh no' Athena thought 'I need to clean the toilet anyways, but I will not do it alone'

"The defense surrenders, but I have a question, what about Mr. Justice" Athena inquest mischievously.

"He is cleared of his charge" Nick replied nonchalantly.

"But I'm not sure about that" Athena smirked "What is his concluding evidence?"

"The wallet" Nick still couldn't care.

"Correct, you see" Athena's evil plan had reached its epitome "It is fabricated"

"Hey, what's this!" Apollo exclaimed "I thought we were together"

"Excuse my partner" Athena proceeded to lay everything out so that it is clear "Why would my wallet look like this? The money seems to be hastily put in"

"Ok, but can we have the verdict now?" Nick requested lazily.

"Sure! I declare Athena Cykes and Apollo Justice, GUILTY!" The trial ended beautifully "1 month of toilet cleaning as punishment"

"Explain yourself, Athena" Apollo stared daggers "Why have you backstabbed me?"

"I just want a friend" Athena teased.
