"Um... Miss...Hyuga...Hinata...? Ms. Hyuga Hinata, please get ready and head to the interview room, thank you," the announcer said over the large speakers that are scattered around the big waiting area for the applicants. After the name was called, a young woman with long, blue hair that also looks somewhat like purple when shined has stood up. She has unique lavender eyes that was pale, but it looked so perfect for her. She looks like she's the type of timid girl who looks very womanly and elegant, well-manered and polite.

But of course, judging people by appearances only is not a good thing.

So, better not judge someone until their true colors shows. That's what she would say to herself everyday while facing many other looks that she encounters on a daily basis.

The blunette, or rather, Hinata Hyuga, is now standing in front of the big doors that leads to the room where the job interview will be held. She was quite nervous about it, so she did her best to calm down. This actually wasn't Hinata's first job interview. In fact, she's been to so much already, but luck wasn't on her side. But everytime she would take an interview, the same nerve-wracking feeling would run through her system which made her uneasy.

"It's ok Hinata. You can do this. You're a Hyuga. You are strong and brave. This is just a job interview, I'm sure you'll pass," she chanted to herself while breathing in and out deeply, trying to calm and compose herself.

"Please enter," a voice inside the room said, making Hinata's heart beat faster, and the overwhelming feeling of nervousness run through her body. She closed her eyes for a second and inhaled deeply, exhaling for the last time until her normal breathing returned. The blunette mustered up all the courage she has from head to toe and opened the two-door entrance, carrying the best smile she can give.

"Good Morning everyone," Hinata was greeted by two men in a black tux with a women wearing a formal working attire. Hinata couldn't help but feel concious about her look since she was only wearing a pair of jeans and over-sized shirt that hid her sharp curves.

It's alright, the clothes are alright. The important part here is the way I answer and how will I prove myself in front of them.

Hinata only smiled and took the empty seat in the middle if the room which was in front of the 3 people who looked at her, as if judging her by her appearance only.

"Um.. Ms. Hyuga right?" the men in the middle asked. The blunette only nodded. "So Ms. Hyuga, let's start this interview," he placed down the papers he was holding, which Hinata suspected was her resumé and other documents required for the application.

"Yes sir," she answered calmly, her voice as soft as a gentle mother's voice.

"So Ms. Hyuga, I heard that your family has quite a reputation," the woman was the one to speak, holding the ri. of her glasses and brought it slightly down, looking firmly at the blunette. Hinata's fading nervousness came back, since her statement was actually true. "Why did you apply a job here? Was your father's money not enough for you?"

Hinata was irked at her question. Those matters aren't really something for them to pry in, considering it was a family issue that is private. Despite her vexation, Hinata never removed her smile.

Calm down Hinata, it's part of the job! She might be finding something wrong from you so she will fail you! Don't be bothered! Keep calm and composed!

"Um, actually that is right. My father's money is already enough for me to live. However, I want to experience the challenge of working for your own money using your sweat and energy, unlike relying solely on your family's hardwork," Hinata answered professionally. What she said was half true and half lie at the same time. It was true that she actually wanted to test her courage about living independently in the City. The other part, where relying on her father's money was not her goal, was a lie. She wasn't receiving any money for school and living expenses from her father now. He was disappointed at the path she chose, so he cut off all the support he was giving her.

Her father, Hiashi Hyuga was strict. Specially with his daughtersーHinata Hyuga, the eldest, and Hanabi Hyuga, the youngest. Hiashi gave one last wave of allowance to Hinata and told her that she will not give her financial support anymore.

"I see... So, what do you think will we gain if we recruit you?" the other man on the end asked, this time.

"If you gave me the chance to work here sir, I assure you you'll be recruiting a commited worker that will do snd give her best at every work you'll assign to her," she answered professionally as well, bot mispronouncing any word nor stuttering (which is her habit), whatsoever. Hinata was proud of herself for not making a mistake this far, becasue most if the time, she'll either stutter or lose words to answer which embarrasses her big time.

"Are you a college graduate, Ms. Hyuga?" the woman once again asked.

"Yes."

"Very well. What are your strengths?" the man in the middle asked.

"I am good at organizing, time management, I also have a little medical background, and I am very hardworking," Hinata only said the traits that she thinks she possed, since she wasn't really certain if she possessed more than those.

"Well, that's good. What course did you take?" the women once again, asked.

"Commerce Ma'am, but I took a med-tech preparatory."

The three people didn't say anything anymore and only looked at each other, as if communicating by their eyes only. They all read the papers about the blunette, nodding in acknowledgement on her skills and bio data. After a while, they silently looked at each other and nodded, finally turning their attention at Hinata, who suddenly tensed because of how serious the eyes that was looking to her were.

"Alright then Ms. Hyuga, we'll be sending an email once we've decided. Thank you for your time," Hinata stood up and thanked them, bowing deeply before finally exiting the room.

Once she closed the door, her body somewhat felt lighter, as if something heavy was lifted from her shoulders. She sighed in relief while placing her hands on her heartbeat, which was gradually retuning to its normal beating speed.

"Yosh! I can finally go home!" she exclaimed to herself while walking down the halls of the building, heading towards the elevator to go down the first floor and exit the building, finally leaving.

"Hinata, why do you keep looking at your laptop?" Ten Ten, Hinata's roomate asked, pouring a coffee to a mug thatcshe sipped in a hot afternoon.

"I'm just waiting for an email from the company I applied," Hinata answered while sipping her four seasons juice with ice. It was really hot for her and she can't handle it so she decided to drink something refreshing to ease ths heat. She was actually impressed on how Ten Ten wasn't bothered by the heat even though she was drinking coffee at this temperature. Her roommate was wearing a sleeveless crop top that exposed her flat stomach and belly button. Hinata also wanted to wear something like that, but her body said no otherwise. The blunette's body is actually curvy and perfect, but Hinata didn't liked it herself. Her flat stomach was toned and abs were slightly present on it, although it wasn't really that sharp and obvious at the first glance. Her legs and hips were also average, which wasn't really something to not be proud of. But the thing that she didn't like, was her big chest. Hinata is a very shy person and easily flustered, so she doesn't really like attention. If she ever wears any clothes that would expose her large breasts, even one bit, she would get stares from everyone and unwanted attention, specially men.

"How can you drink a hot cup of coffee at this time of the day? Do you not sweat?" Hinata asked, simply very curious on how her roomate survives the heat.

"It's my special ability," Ten Ten simply jokes.

"By the was Ten Ten, have you heard from Neji-niisan?" The brunette blushed and looked down.

Ten Ten and Neji are actually dating. Neji is also a Hyuga, which is Hinata's cousin. But she didn't feel like he was one. The blunette treated their relationship as a 'brother-and-sister' type rather than a 'cousins' type of one. Neji was always there for Hinata, even at the time where she left the Hyuga compound, he still helped her to find a new place to stay in. For Hinata, it's just right for her Nii-san to date someone like Ten Ten, who was like a mother to Hinata. She was caring, loving and sweet. Neji and Ten Ten are perfect for each other.

"He said he'll be busy with you father's orders for him," Ten Ten replied with a hint of worry and sadness on her voice. Hinata also felt silent, because she knew all too well how her father governs their clan. He's strict and staight. It even comes to the point that he doesn't show mercy to people who are slacking off.

Hinata just sighed at the traumatic thoughts that she felt under the command of her father, and pity for her cousin. She didn't want to reminisce the past that she already swore to forget.

Suddenly, removing both the girls from their thoughts, a notification popped up Hinata's laptop. An email that she was waiting for.

"Ah! Yes! It's here!" she quickly opened her email to read the contents of the message. She was expecting herself to be accepted, considering she was confident on her answers yesterday.

But to her bad luck, she wasn't accepted.

Her eyes widened and watered, sadness overwhelming her. Hinata already tried so many other companies, and this one was her last resort. But she failed.

Failed once again. From all the many places she tried, the results we're all the same.

"You're a failure! You disappointed the Hyuga traditions! You don't belong here!"

A flashback from her harsh past popped up in her mind, slowly tearing her heart to pieces from the pain and sorrow she felt before, and the feeling she has now.

It said that she was exceptional, however there are more applicants that are better than her and deserving. They also said that the wealth of the Hyuga clan was enough for her for now because the other applicants were much more in need of money than her, which she thought, was an unreasonable thing.

"Did you get in?" Ten Ten asked.

"Nーno..." Hinata answered, tears successfully flowing from her gorgeous lavender eyes. Ten Ten immediately went to Hinata and comforted her, since she was the only person there right now that can enlighten her despite the sad news.

Ten Ten has been Hinata's roomate for a year now. She's seen all Hinata's side now, from her happy sides to the dark and broken ones. Since the blunette was something like a prodigy, she was easily judged and accused by people, throwing insults towards her without even knowing her full story.

Ten Ten saw tears, pain, sadness, and happiness from her, everything she had.

But never did she see Hinata giving up and finally stopping her job hunting. And that, made the brunette acknowledge her will and resolve.

"I see..." the brunette said back, rubbing the back of the pale-eyed woman who was so close to being broken. "You'll find a better job then that! I assure you! That company made a mistake big time for letting you go. Don't worry Hinata, I'm sure your skills will be recognized," Ten Ten finished. The brunette managed to make Hinata smile, even if it was faint, but that means everything to Ten Ten.

"You're right. It's too soon to give up," Hinata raised her head and wiped the tears on her cheeks, leaving her lavender eyes swollen and pink from the crying. "I'll be going to my room now."

"Ok, if you need anything, I'm right here," Ten Tem winked and Hinata only smiled, walking up the stairs.

Even if the day was rather sad, Hinata still didn't lose determination. She keeps reminding herself that life is too short to give up and lose hope. There's always tomorrow that awaits you with surprises. And maybe, that tomorrow is the hope that Hinata keeps seeking.

That's right, she'll never give up. There's still hope for tomorrow...
