A Race... For Home!
Across the Stars,
I did Travel Far:
Lifted up on white
Silver-tipped Wings,
Aimed them High as
The Galaxy Sings...
# # #
To Far Arcturus and on
Towards the Dark Coal Sack;
Past Planets and Nebulae,
With no 'Looking Back'...
# # #
Of Mazars and Quasars and
Jetting Neutron Stars;
Later - a Return past Saturn,
Jupiter, then Mars...
# # #
Then,
A Race... For Home:
And a Time-Space,
That's more than
Just a pretty Face...
# # #
But, yea, I did Finish,
After the lightyear Start;
To a Mother Land held
Deep within the Human Heart...
# # #
Heaven was always 'There'
Underneath our placid Feet:
And was Living all Along,
Singing to Her Children
Since the Golden Dawn...
# # #
Home-Sweet-Home - True Bliss;
A Lovely World... Yes, Earth is This!
