Lars panted softly as he was struggling to stand up behind the counter of his bakery, he slowly placed his head on the counter but the sound of the door opening had made him immediately stand straight up again, his eyes widening and he tensed up as the gems had walked in "o-oh hey guys, how are ya" he smiled nervously at they walked up to the counter.

"Good evening, Lars" Pearl was the first to speak.

"Lars, my man" amethyst grinned

Garnet didn't say anything as she looked at Lars, who was looking back at her but could only see his reflection from her glasses, he gulped as he slowly smiled at her "G-garnet" Lars spoke softly and saw she had only nodded.

"Yo Lars, we need some donuts" amethyst spoke making Lars snap out of his stare down with Garnet to look at her.

"w-what?" Lars said confused.

"donuts, we wanted to surprise Steven with these human treats" Pearl explained simply "since you are such good friends with Steven, do you know his favorite type?"

"Oh yeah, umm if you could go sit down for a moment I'll make something" Lars smiled as he saw them nod before they went and sat down, he slowly turned around and grabbed a empty bag and put a couple of Steven favorite type of donuts inside, he turned around and went back to the counter before his eyes widened and he let out a loud moan, making the gems look at him.

"Are you okay Lars" Pearl asked worried, making Lars nod.

"Y-yes just hit my elbow b-but I'm fine" Lars told them with a shakey smile "anyway here" he said holding up to the bag.

The gems smiled as amethyst took the bag and Pearl handed Lars some money "keep the change" Pearl said before her and amethyst walked to the door but noticed Garnet wasn't behind them

"You two go on ahead, I just need to talk to Lars" Garnet said making Lars eyes widened while Pearl and amethyst nodded then left, leaving the two alone

Lars gulped quietly and smiled "y-you needed something?" He asked her as she kept looking at him

Garnet turned around and headed to the door, confusing Lars but saw her stop momentary "come home when you are done, Steven" she simply said which made Lars eyes widened before she left without another word.

Lars gasp and slumped over the counter, panting just before Steven slowly stood up from under the counter grinned "guess I been caught" he laughed before he slapped Lars ass making his pink friend jump at the action "heh see ya later" Steven grinned as he left.

Lars watched before dropping to his knees as he was sure his face was a whole different color of pink from shock and embarrassment.
