I can't believe it… I'm not sure how it happened, but it just came out of nowhere… it was just a normal day in the Mushroom Kingdom, but… everything changed... when THOSE things started showing up.
RWBY wandered around Toad Town, the four of them giggling and laughing, having a wonderful time as they walked around.
It was then they heard an explosion up in the sky as they looked up and saw a ship coming in hot as they crashed into the outskirts of Toad Town, landing just near Coconut Mall.
They immediately rushed toward the ship, with Mario and Luigi joining them as they cautiously approached it with RWBY's weapons drawn.
We thought it was just a normal ship… thinking someone came to the Mushroom Kingdom to escape. The ship was a wreck and we thought someone came to our aid…
The hatch opened up as they aimed their weapons at the ship, cautiously going inside and looking around it, the Mario Bros deciding to stay outside and be on guard. They soon approached the deck and saw quite the horrific sight. As they approached closer to the bodies, they saw alien-like creatures completely deformed and in pieces.
"What could have caused this to happen?" Ruby wondered as Blake approached a hologram and curiously pressed it.
"Alert! We are taking heavy fire! Requesting back up now!"
"Shipmaster, what's the situation?"
"They… they're here! A few spores had somehow managed to get into our ship and started wreaking havoc!"
"A few spores?! Then that would mean-"
"Yes! They're here… and-" Heavy gunfire was heard. "Rrrgh! This isn't good! I'm not sure if we can- gaaaah!"
"Pull yourself together! Where are you now?"
"We… rrrgh! We seem to be making contact with this strange alien world…"
"Do not go in there! That world does not need to suffer the fate as did the others!"
"I'm well aware of that, but… AAAAGH!"
"Do you copy? Do you copy! …By the gods… they're taking a direct course to that planet. It will not last long… especially not with the Flo-" It cut off.
"Whatever happened here… they crash landed onto Remnant." Blake said. "But what happened?"
"I'm not sure, but I'm not liking this one bit." Yang said as they heard massive screaming outside as they ran out to see what happened.
"Mario, what's the situation?" Ruby asked.
"We're not sure." Mario responded as they went off to investigate the inside of Toad Town, when suddenly they spotted a few Toads looking… quite different. They had rotten flesh and had tentacles popping out of their mouths as their heads were snapped back.
"What the hell?! What is that?!" Yang yelled. "What happened to those Toads?!"
A few of the tentacles on one Toad started moving. "We… are the Flood. We have used the Sangheli's ship to make our way to this new world… and we will feast upon your bones! We will consume ALL!"
"That's not going to happen!" Ruby declared. "There's only three of you things!"
"Uh… Ruby?" Yang spoke up as they saw a ton of Infection and Combat Forms surrounding the group.
"That is a peculiar eye color. We have not seen it on a human before… silver? Most peculiar… I wonder what makes it tick… consume them!"
Luigi got into a fighting stance. "I'm not liking this one bit! What are we gonna do?!"
"The only thing we can do." Mario said, activating his Fire Brand and smirking. "Let's-a go!" He yelled as they all rushed at the Flood with their weapons drawn.
They just kept coming… more and more, this… Flood started to infect anything they got their hands on. Toads, animals, Goombas… it had gotten to the point where the Hands closed the portals to everyone's worlds so they wouldn't be infected. The Smashers had joined the fight to put this Flood outbreak to rest…
But they just kept coming. Before we knew it… all of Remnant was covered in Flood and the Huntsman and the Huntresses were overwhelmed… one by one, our friends were consumed and became one of them… and not even the Grimm could stop them, because even they were infected by the Flood.
Why… why Remnant of all places?! Why did it have to crash into our world? Blake… Yang… JNPR… Ozpin… not even the Smashers stood a chance… Palutena, Byleth, Link, the Hands, Ridley… not even Bowser was able to stop them.
But worst of all… they got Ruby…
"RUBY!" Weiss screamed, watching Ruby trying her damnedest to fight it off.
"Nnnngh… aaaagh…! I… I will… not let you get a hold of me…!"
"We already have."
"Aaaagh! Nnngh… aaagh…" Ruby groaned, looking desperately at Weiss as her right arm started to mutate as saliva dripped out of her mouth.
"Interesting, so this is the power of the Silver Eyes… unfortunate that it cannot do anything to humans…"
"I will… not let you… have me…!"
"Fool. You are already one of us."
It was hard to watch… she tried her hardest to fight it off, but… she couldn't hold it off for much longer… and it was then that I had to do what I didn't want to do…
Weiss picked up a shotgun that one of the Combat Forms had dropped as she aimed it directly at Ruby. "Weiss… I'm… I'm sorry…" Ruby would say before being completely taken over by it as she rushed at Weiss as she looked away… and pulled the trigger.
Five years… five long years of this outbreak… and there's not much of us left. All that's left are me, Penny, SAPR, Samus, Mega Man, ROB and… surprisingly, Eggman. However, we were given support by this… UNSC and that's when hope came. They called him… Spartan-117… otherwise known as the Chief. He wasn't alone, his alien friend, this… Arbiter guy… they did everything they could to stop this Flood outbreak… but… not even they could stop this.
"We've been at this for five years, Spartan… I don't think there's anything we can do." Arbiter said. "Not to mention we have yet to locate the Gravemind in this world."
"We have yet to keep looking. Surely, the source has to be here somewhere." Chief responded.
"Unfortunately, we looked everywhere on Remnant, but we came up with nothing." Samus said. "I hate to say it, but I believe the best course of action is to get out of here."
"You may be right." Chief nodded and turned to Arbiter.
"Then it seems we have no other choice." Arbiter would then go to his comms. "Rtas, this world is done for. Commence a deep cleansing of this world."
"Are you suggesting glassing the world entirely?"
"Yes."
"…Very well. We'll come and pick you up, then we will glass Remnant."
Glassing Remnant… I remember the first time that happened. It happened at Beacon when it destroyed the school and killed off tons of infected students. I couldn't believe my eyes… sure, it was putting them out of their misery, but even then… will it be enough to destroy all the Flood?
Suddenly, the ground underneath them began to shake violently. "Below us!" Penny exclaimed as tentacles shot out of the ground as a massive undead creature emerged.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaa!"
"What… what is that?!" SAPR yelled in shock.
"I…. I am a monument… to all your sins!"
"It's the Gravemind! I'm sure of it!" Eggman exclaimed.
"Indeed! And you fools will not see the light of day again!"
"Let's take it out!" Mega Man said as they started shooting at it as Weiss pulled out an Energy Sword and rushed at the Gravemind, slashing through one of its tentacles off, but then another tentacle came by and slapped Weiss away.
"GAH!" Weiss screamed as she had fallen down a cliff.
"WEISS!" Penny yelled, when suddenly a massive laser struck the Gravemind as it roared in agony as they saw a Cruiser flying above them.
"Quickly! Get in the Phantom!" Rtas yelled in Arbiter's earpiece as a Phantom came flying down as everyone got on board, except for Penny.
"Weiss…" Penny whispered.
"It's too late for her. She's as good as dead anyway. I don't think she survived that fall." Samus said as Penny nodded and then flew into the Phantom.
"Get us out of here." Chief said as the pilot nodded and flew off.
At the bottom of the cliff, Weiss let out a groan as she was on her back, seeing the Phantom fly away. "No… come back…" She whispered as she heard roaring as several Flood forms approached her as she then saw another Cruiser flying above her as a bright light shined above her. She hoped that it was going to get her out of there.
…But it would do no such thing as the light got brighter as Weiss's eyes widened in horror, before she and the entire area got glassed by the Cruiser.
"And that's what happened after Superman killed Batman." Caboose said.
"Whoa whoa WHOA, time out!" Church said. "What does THIS have to do with Keanu Reeves kicking ass in John Wick?!"
"Yeah, and how did RWBY become part of this anyway?" Tucker spoke up. "The story was all out of wack!"
"Aww, guys! You're missing the point!" Caboose said. "Aw, now I have to start all over again. Let's see… it all started when Captain America and Iron Man started to fight-" A collective sound of groans were heard. "-And then Thor came into the airport and started blasting away Wolverine and Batman, then Spider-Man shows up and-"

This is what happens when I play a lot of the Master Chief Collection on Steam... I come up with this April Fools story.
