So I've been rewatching My hero academia and since th e fifth season is starting up. I thought why not write my own story on it I mean I know there is tons like it, but maybe I can make mine different in some way. Though of course some people won't like it and say it's the same, but in the end it's something I took the time to write so hopefully you don't slam on me to hard and that enjoy this story.

Rise

Chapter 1: The Long Road

Water

It encompasses the world like hair on our heads an ever flowing substance that flows through not only the planet we reside in but in ourselves. Just as blood is our life blood water is the life of Mother Nature and it's ever growing self. But Mother Nature is not all good for with it come the bad and together balance as we set our sights upon the one who brings that balance.

A young boy no older then 15 can be seen or rather can be found in a large body of water within the confines of the many lakes that adore America as this young man was sitting at the bottom of said lake with eyes closed body relaxed and mind cleared.

The worries of the world. The thought of death. And the feeling of the water around him. Means nothing to him right now as right now he is one with nature itself letting it's energy flow through him and keep him from drowning in its ever expense. Though as he sat their letting his body become one with the very world around him, his sense of his surroundings didn't die down as he felt the fish swimming around him the move of the water and the movement of the birds, deer, etc.

Swish

The boy opened his eyes as in front of him stabbed into the ground was a large spear, one used for hunting fish though this one had two hooks on the side as the boy looked up into the water as he saw through the bright reflection a lone figure waving down at him almost knowing where he was in the dark lower waters.

The boy closed his eyes again as he slowly got up feeling the ever essence of the earth leave him as he once again enters back into reality. Into the real world and it's ever present dangers.

But for Izuku Midoriya he is more of a danger to it.

"He should be coming up any minute now." A gruff and tagged voice watched as he saw the young boy start to get up and get his bearings after being underneath for nearly in an hour.

"You do understand that my time is valuable." A stern voice and a slight glare at the old man looking into the water would frighten any man, but not him.

"Calm down lady. It's not like all those heroes will be lost without you. I mean they have gotten along fine throughout most of this time." The man got up and walked towards a hammock which was set up next to a carved out tree which held several beers one of which he grabbed and offering another to the lady.

"I am on the job." Was all she said.

"Suit yourself lady. Seemed like you need it," the man started to drink enjoying its flavor.

"How long will he take. I would think he would have better timing then you if his reputation is anything to go by." The lady started to tap her foot on the soft dirt floor while the old man kept drinking his bottle until he ran out.

The water then started to shake and ripple as in a blast a green blur came flying out of the dark depths and onto dry land as kneeling down on one knee as the figure rose up showing that he towered over not only the old man, but the lady to as she felt a little self conscious knowing she was wearing high heels that made her a little bit taller thus when she saw the tall person in front of her she felt a little frightened.

"Mrs. Kano I thought I wouldn't have seen you for another few months." The green haired boy asked as he walked towards a chair which sat by the old man he grabbed the towel by it drying himself.

"Well cough I came by to inform you of a new assignment." The now named Kano tried not to stare to much as the fit teen as she tried to get down to business.

"A new mission? Why didn't you just send us an email or one of your agents like you usually do." Izuku asked as whenever they needed him or his master for a specific task they would send someone to get them or an email voice message.

"Well you see what we have for you is of high importance and something I decided to speak with you personally." Kano said.

"What mission is of high of importance that the vice ceo of the hero commission would come to me personally." Izuku asked.

"Well this would help enlighten it." She then gave a folder to him from which he quickly skimmed through as his eyes read every line so fast it would seem like he was not even looking." One of our hero investigators found that warehouse and three others like it all over japan and on cinnabar island. As of right now our assumption is that illegal experiments and goods were being dealt them with the evidence left behind."

"It also says that certain blood stains were found and ID with missing children in the area," Izuku spoke as he looked at various pictures of missing kids that matched with the blood.

"Yes and though no suspects were caught. We were able to get a basic idea of what they were doing." She then showed a photo of a large green tube stilled operating as inside was something neither Izuku or the old man (who was silently listening) could identify as it showed a gross mutation unlike any quirk as four arms were growing out of one side of its body with its face contorting into some type of wolf face as the rest of its body was burned and maligned.

"What are your thoughts on who is behind this." Izuku asked as his fist clenched with the thought of only one person having the mind and insanity to do this.

"It's him Izuku and he has returned and aligned himself with someone else you two should be familiar with."

Kano showed them a photo though this one was hard to make out as the man was covered in a large cloak as a Doctor was leading him into a large truck, but the one thing that stood out was the face mask he was wearing.

"So after all this time. After thinking All might have killed him and settled the feeling in my heart, does he show himself to be alive." Izuku echoed those words as he looked at the man that not only tormented all of Japan for decades, but took away everything precious to him.

"This information is strictly need to know. We would have told All might first, but with him being on borrowed time and needing to find a new successor. We felt as though this would distract him and thus we tell you this as your history with this man goes as deep as All mights." Kano watched Forrest any reaction and saw multiple in just his eyes till they became emotionless once again.

"So you want me to find him?" Izuku asked.

"No, that would be impossible even with a man with skills such as yourself. He has gone into hiding and even our best spies can't find him. Though not with the lack of trying as some of my agents are still trying to root out any spies in the public safety commission." Kano sighed knowing that though All might had kept crime down most well known criminals had evaded them especially from sneak attacks.

"Still haven't found that mole yet," Izuku knew she had been trying to find any sign of a mole inside the safety commission for years with zero luck.

"Yes and that is why I have another mission though this one is for your sensei." Kano then looked over at the half awake man who raised an eyebrow nonchalantly.

"What do you want me to do. Can't you see I'm trying to enjoy my retirement." He said.

"We both know you won't stay retired for long Jack. Especially not after New York," Kano handed him another packet as he lazily looked through it only raising his eyebrow if something interesting got his attention.

"What's his mission?" Asked Izuku after being silent for a second.

"Well it's different from yours. Though the two of you will be heading to the same place." She said looking at him.

"And where is that exactly?" He asked curiously though he had a hint of what it was as she gave him and Jack two tickets.

"Your going back Home Izuku."

One week Later

Musutafu, Japan

The busy streets. Loud chattering of people either on their phones or to those they were walking with could be heard throughout the busy streets of Musutafu. As the people were walking idly about up above on the road bridge where a small little traffic jam was occurring as the people in each car either waited with patience or honked their horn in both effort and annoyance to get those in front to hurry up.

"God dammit EVERY TIME!" Yelled one particular man as he looked out his window at the long line of cars in front of him as some moved only a little bit, while others didn't move at all.

Of course road rage is a common thing for many driving and sometimes you can have little incidents on the road weather it's an argument with other driver, consent honking, etc. though for the few that deal with it most of their lives there is a breaking point and the man who was gripping his wheel was at his wits end.

"Yesss succumb to your anger."

Out of the dark shade from his back seat three red eyes could be seen as a wicked smile broke free and a sickly long hand made its way to the mans head until he stiffened up as black veins popped up as his eyes become blood shot red.

Suddenly in a loud boom he had grown to nearly 60 feet tall with those around him yelling in surprise as they quickly got out of their cars or tried to back up only to smash into other cars. The man yelled out as he started to walk through the traffic with many moving out of the way as he nearly crushed their cars while others ignored him as they have dealt with this more often then not.

"Call it in we got a rogue quirk user getting through traffic." A police officer said as he called it in with heroes already arriving on the scene to subdue the giant and get civilians to safety.

"Woah look isn't that the new hero Kamui woods."

"Yeah he's so cool."

"Wow his quirk is so awesome."

As everyone was talking about the new hero Kamui woods their was one person who wasn't Ogling at the new hero and it was a young girl around 15 who had green hair tied into a ponytail as it went slightly past her shoulders as her school uniform that most girls wore went slightly past her knees and was grey all over though she added a green sash to tie it together.

"Pretty impressive for someone who just started not to long ago. I wonder how he'll turn out in a few more months with much tougher opponents."

These thoughts were of the green haired girl as her blue emerald eyes shined with power as she watched the fight almost draw to its conclusion. This girl was none other then Izumi Midorya, a young middle school girl in her final year before going off to her future path of becoming a hero like uncle Toshinori.

"Alright everyone back up this is for your own safety." Was the reply of one of the local heroes.

"Alright time to end this. Ultimate-"

Suddenly a giant fist came out of nowhere that knocked the man out on his back as he crashedSuddenly a giant fist came out of nowhere that knocked the man out on his back as he crashed into the now empty pile of cars as some got pushed back into others while some flew off the bridge though they were caught by Kamui woods who had quick reflexes along with the giant lady who put the cars back down gently as those who were watching cheered at the heroic display from what they saw as a new hero's debut.

"And that's how it's done. From your local hero Mt. lady." She announced her hero name as she game a small peace sign and a cute pose as people from news crew started to take photos.

"I had it covered ." Kamui words replayed sighing at her stunts, but she ignored him as she had her attention to the cameras.

With having her attention taken away and Kamui woods trying to get her attention by reprimanding her. They didn't take notice of the fallen giant man who hadn't shrunken as the black veins started to spread and soon his skin started to become much darker with his hair becoming white as the beating of his heart start to gain speed as in the next instance his eyes snapped open and he jumped up roaring with new found fury gaining the attention of the two heroes. While scaring everyone around them.

"Oh, shit that's not good." Izumi thought as she saw the slight upgrade in his stature with him now standing just a little bit taller then .

"What the hell that was my strongest punch," Mt. lady spoke as she took a step back both in caution and worry, but also an ounce of fear shown in her voice.

"Lady be prepared we might need to work together to take him down." Kamui woods said as he prepared his strongest attack.

The man roared once again as he grabbed one of the cars lying around him and threw it towards the two heroes as Kamui woods quickly used his quirk to catch it before it could hurt others as Mt. lady rushed in with her fist raised as she gave a loud yell before connecting her fist with his face.

"OW! What the hell," Mt lady held her hand as she felt like she hit steel as she looked at the man only to take a step back in fear as the man- no monster looked at her with furry as in a blur he grabbed her by her throat.

"MT. LADY!" Kamui woods yelled as he rushed in to help.

"All heroes die." The man said as he increased his grip causing to struggle and scratch to get a breath of air as Kamui woods tried to run as fast as he could, but new that he wouldn't make it in time and so did .

"I don't wanna die….rrgh..please somebody help." thought as she saw darkness starting to envelop her vision.

VOID

Suddenly in the next instance a small black portal appeared between the two giants with It doing two things. One was freeing as she landed on her butt a few inches away taking in large intakes of air with Kamui woods checking on her. The second was causing a large burn mark to appear on the mans chest as he howled in pain and looked everyone to find out who was the one who hurt him.

"You know it's not nice to hurt a lady." The mans and everyone's attention was taken to the right as they looked up at one of the tall buildings surrounding the bridge as on it stood a figure wearing a large cloak that hid most of his features like his hair and upper face along with most of his upper body. Though it allowed for everyone to see his black metal concealed shoes with pants that looked like it had no pockets as two red stripes were seen on its side as a black shirt was seen above that.

"Hero."

"No I'm no hero. I'm just a guy who walked in a situation gone bad. And am making sure it doesn't turn out worse then it already was looking." The mysteries man said as he hummed a slight toon which angered the giant man as he snarled at him.

"All heroes DIE!" Then in a blur his fist smashed into the part of the building he was on as others grew wide eyed at seeing the destruction and death of someone.

"Now that wasn't nice. We were just chatting." The man snapped his neck to his right as he saw the cloaked man now standing on his forearm only this time his cloak was no longer on him allowing everyone to see the long sleeve shirt underneath a ballistic armor that was thin on his body as a black mask covered most of his lower face and his curly black hair which blew in the wind.

RRRREERGHHH

In a blur the man tried to grab the mysterious stranger, but the mysterious man easily jumped above it dodging it as in the next instance he was running up his giant arm leaving a black line down his arm as the man roared again trying to swat him off only for the man to dodge with speed far superior to his as soon he was above him as in his hand smoke started to emit, then small bursts of lightning appeared before a loud screeching was heard as lightning coated his fist.

Dark Rainmaker

His fist was nothing but a blur to those who could follow his movements, but to those who couldn't all they were able to see was the massive imprints of fists being put onto the giants body as soon the man stopped his assault with the giant falling down to one knee as he howled in pain.

"Now are you ready to let that body go or do we have to do this the hard way."

"All…must die.."

"Guess the hard way it is then." The man gave a smirk showing he was loving this as soon dark mist started to surround him as he raised his right hand which started to form into something as soon the most disappeared showing a long black blade with dark energy coming off it as the chain on the bottom of the hilt circled around the mans arm. The dark energy around the man started to become more intense as the giant man roared and charged sensing what was about to happen, but was to slow as the cloaked man snapped open his eyes which shined a bright crimson red.

Soul Style: Dark Crescent Slash

The heroes and civilians had to cover their eyes as a huge gust of wind blew throughout the surrounding area with Kamui woods and even had to hold onto something as the massive burst of power shook everything around them.

"What the hell kinda of power was that." asked as she got her footing.

"This is as strong as All mights punches just who is this guy." Kamui woods spoke.

When the dust that had gathered disappeared the two heroes and everyone's eyes widen upon seeing a the giant man now shrunken as a huge cut had torn through the bridge and the building straight of it.

"Damn seems I put a little to much power into that last attack." The cloaked man said as he walked towards the knocked out man and checking to see if he was alright.

"HEY YOU!" The cloaked man turned around to find both heroes and another hero coming towards him as they looked at him with a hint of fear and mystery though did have a little something else in her eye for him.

"Ah yes you would probably wanna get this fella some help. Well go ahead I'm going to head out I do gotta be somewhere." The man said as he turned around only to find his movements stopped by wood wrappings.

"Unfortunately we cant let you escape seeing as your not any new hero. But a vigilante." Kamui woods said.

"Still a hero Kamui woods so if you would please let me go. I don't want to hurt you or any of the heroes. Big fan actually," The man said still sounding calm.

"Sorry buddy, but your coming with us," the other man said.

"Aaa, guess it has come to this huh."

The next instance the man disappeared as all three heroes had wide eyes, before Kamui woods felt the feel of something sharp and cold on his throat.

"It's true I'm new in town and though this is All mights place u thought maybe I could help seeing as he isn't seen as much as before. So if you don't mind I'm going to do what you three are having trouble with," The man said as he let the blade drop as it disappeared and jumping on top of the building next to the bridge making some people gasp as his level of power.

"OH BY THE WAY THE NAME IS SHADOW!"

Izumi watched this all with awe as she was shocked at the power of this new vigilante. Something unlike other vigilantes who have been seen as they had quirks that made them do hero work quick and easy. This one though just cut a building in half, she needed to record more data later when she sees the news tonight about it as she decided to head to school and get through the rest of her school year before graduating and choosing a course for her. Though her thoughts on what to do weren't hard for anyone who knew her to figure out.

"IZUMI!"

"Huh? Oh hey Kastumi." Izumi turned to find one her longest best friends Kastumi running towards her though looked a little upset about something, but also that was her all the time.

"DON'T GIVE ME A HEY! I've been waiting at our spot for an hour wondering where have you been. And low and behold right here where heroes are GEEZ! Can't you take a break for once I mean come on Izumi," Kastumi said with anger, but also irritation.

"Sorry Kastumi I forgot after viewing that battle though you'll never believe what I saw-"

"I don't care come on let's get to school." Kastumi said as she dragged her best friend cutting her off from what she was gonna say as the two ran to school well one ran the other was being pulled against her will.

"Seems she's grown since the last time I saw her." Up on a roof top overlooking the street they were on Shadow watched the two friends laughing at their attitudes.

"So when are you gonna tell her your back or to be more precise how you are alive after all this time." Another figure was next to him. This one wearing a white t-shirt with long black sweats that had a few to many pockets as his sandals clicked on the roof tiles, his hoodie covering part of his face but showing his black beard.

"HA! I'm not dumb Jack I know how not only Izumi would react, but Kastumi as well. And don't get me started on Mom oh boy that's another thing for another time." Shadow said.

"Never seen you so worked up Izuku." Jack laughed at his students state not having seen it since they first met.

"You try facing three angry women Jack. Plus I don't even know if I should even tell them, not if they are gonna question why I came back now. Why I am applying to be a hero after everything that's happened." Izuku lowered his hood showing his glowing green hair.

"That's something I can't decide for you, no that's something for you to decide. I am just here to help you in case things get out of hand. Plus the old lady has a job for me here as well." Jack said.

"I'm wondering what that job is exactly?" Izuku asked wondering what would bring Jack here out of his little retirement home.

"Seems I'm to be undercover for some Yakuza organization. Though I'm just a small time their and I'm just to report any small details as it appears others are already watching them." Jack said as he pulled a bottle of booze from out of nowhere.

"Then why take the job." Asked Izuku.

"Guess that's something for you to solve my young detective." Jack laughed as Izuku sighed at his masters antics.

"Damn Old bastards." Izuku sighed as he jumped away heading to his new home.

Later in the day

Izumi sighed as today had been a long day with school being average as their teacher had let them have a free day knowing exams were coming up, then after all of them would go on to either regular high schools or hero schools something almost all the class was basically choosing though everyone in the school including the teachers knew only two strived to be accepted into the best hero school in all of Japan. UA, her and Kastumi dreamed of it since they were little, well someone else did, but it's been a long time since she remembered him.

"The anniversary is near and I know Kaa-San will be different during then." Izumi thought as she continued her walk home, but didn't notice the dark figure crawling behind her.

Food….hunger….so hungry

The figure on all fours in a rush was upon Izumi, but in a burst of lightning Izumi disappeared dodging the attack as the figure looked to his right seeing Izumi sparking with white lightning as her hair floated up and she opened her eyes, which were now white as she glared at the crawling figure now watching as the thing glared at her and snarled showing its large teeth.

"What the hell are you." Izumi said watching the thing turn towards her preparing to jump at her.

One for All Full Cowling 15%

In a blur she punched the creature sending it flying into the wall as it cracked upon impact collapsing on top of it. Izumi jumped back gaining space as she glared at the rubble watching it shake before the creature popped out roaring as in crawled at her with Izumi widening her eyes seeing how fast it was and quickly jumping on top of another roof dodging the creature.

"What the hell are you."

HUNGER! DEATH!

Izumi rushed it ducking under a swipe as she gave a spinning kick sending it flying back into the ground as she used her strength to fly straight down slamming into the creature driving it further into the street.

"EAT THIS! Texas Smash!" Izumi went in for a finishing move, but the creature in a burst of speed that caught her off guard grabbed her by the face and slammed her into the ground."Ah, shiiiiit-"

DIEEEE

She was slammed into the street once again reputedly before being thrown into a lamp post as Izumi coughed up blood and looked up watching the creature come closer as its mouth grew and cracked showing more teeth.

"Shit my leg I can't move," Izumi looked up seeing the thing getting closer as her eyes grew wide in fear praying for someone to save her.

BOOM!

Dust was blown up as Izumi covered her eyes so as to not get any in her eyes, but once she was able to see through the cloud of dust and debris did her eyes widen as the creature was pinned to the ground, but a giant sword as on top of it was none other then Shadow who had a dark aura around him which spread around him as he looked down at the pinned creature which was roaring in pain.

"Shut up and die would you. You little shit."

Burning Ash

In a burst of fire the creature was set a blaze by black flames as it roared out in pain, before it was silenced and it's body reduced to nothing as not even its ashes remained. Izumi watched this with wife eyes seeing death in front of her something she had only seen once, she did the only thing she could and hurled her lunch as Shadow looked up at her raising his eyebrow and smiled at her reaction.

"Sorry for that couldn't have it running around killing anyone. You okay though." Shadow asked as he went to see if she was fine.

"Easy their buddy I might be injured, but I still got some fight." Izumi said as she tried standing on her one good leg.

"I'm not gonna hurt you little girl I'm simply gonna make sure this isn't worse then it is." Suddenly the dark aura around him extended to her injuries as Izumi suddenly felt the pain wash away and be replaced by a calming feeling.

"T-t-thanks I'm feeling a little better," Izumi said after 5 minutes feeling her leg and any other injuries gone.

"No problem now you better get home little girl, before mom gets worried." Shadow said as he turned to walk away.

"WAIT!"

"Hmmm."

"Just who are you?" She asked.

"Me I'm no one I'm just a guy protecting this world from the ones who go bump in the night. And as you saw those things are more dangerous then you can imagine." Shadow looked at her as she glared right at him.

"I know which is why I'm asking how you know about these demons." Izumi said catching him from stopping as he smirked and turned to fully face her.

"So you know that you were fighting a demon and still choose to fight it." Asked Shadow.

"Because it's not the first time I've seen a demon or someone being passed by one. That's what happened to that guy earlier isn't it." Izumi asked as all Izuku could not help but smirk finding his sisters skills of analyzing fun.

"Yes and it would seem you know more, then your letting on," Shadow said.

"Trust me I know more then you think I do. It's the reason things are different for me," Izumi said as Izuku mentally sighed knowing what she was talking about.

"Your talking about the incident when you were just five years old. The day demons came into the cabin where your family was vacationing where they murdered your father in cold blood. Where they stole your brother and dragged his poor little soul to god knows where." Shadow looked at her as he saw her face and the tears threatening to escape.

"Who are you?" She asked barely holding it together.

"I am the one who is here to make sure these demons are dealt with and to make sure of that I had to do things I'm not proud of. So don't worry little one I'll make sure your brother is avenged." Shadow said as he walked up to her and patted her head and she let out a few lone tears.

"Please….please make sure he returns to me…to us," Izumi said as Shadow just smiled before jumping away disappearing into the night. Leaving Izumi to walk home to a worried mother though she had to lie to her it was for the best and knew that at the end of the day talking with Shadow made her feel a little better.

Shadow or as he was known Izuku made sure she made it home and after that smiled at the sight of mother and daughter. Though it made a small pit in his stomach form at seeing them together knowing they were missing one person, but didn't linger on it to long as he stood up and let the dark aura spread more throughout his body soon something started to form on his back as large black wings sprouted out on it, before in a silent burst of speed he flew up into the night sky.

Unknown place

"Did you hear the news yet…"

"Yes…very intriguing is it not."

"Yes though his presence could threaten the plan."

"No, it will move it along much more rapidly….it will even help improve it."

"Really how so."

"You'll see with time…in the meantime how are those Nomu's of yours doing."

"Very promising in fact they will soon be ready for testing. Something my young protégé is more then excited to do."

"Excellent once it is done show me the results for I have something in mind for these things. Call it a test for both the next holder of One for All and our little magic boy."

"Excellent, though in the mean time let us watch this society and human kind crumble."

"And the rise of a new society and race rise."

The two voices laughed not in a voice of a crazy villain, but one of a calmness and patience, the other of knowledge and confidence. With the two masterminds together their power and threat is something that will put fear into many and the death of Billions.

This is the first chapter of a new series one in which is a My hero academia one. Something I'm excited about and hopefully it's something all of you will enjoy as I have decided to do some things that other fanfics have done as well though for this one instead of Izuku using a different Quirk his power is something different. While his sister has gained One for All and seems to have had it for awhile, but the questions now arise like does she have another quirk, how did she earn the quirk, how much can she use and who is the other mastermind working with All for One. For now let those questions feasted and enjoy this brand new story.
