Hi dear readers!
This is my first ever AoT fanfic. I've been writing fanfics ever since and it's my first time to try writing about AoT characters, specifically my fave, Humanity's Strongest, Levi Ackerman.
It was just recently that truly enjoyed the manga and the anime, and I'm just in awe of the dimensions and development of the characters over time. Anyways, I've been cooking this up for weeks and it was just now that I was able to gather the courage (and make time) to finally upload it. I really hope you like it! Please do read and review. Leave your comments :)
Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin was created by the genius, Hajime Isayama.
I just own one (major) character here, whom you'll meet in the upcoming chapters.
Enjoy reading!
PROLOGUE
It was an hour before dawn. The cold breeze rustled the giant trees effortlessly in the forest. It was dark and cold, but nevertheless, the soldiers of the Survey Corps, also known as the Scout Regiment, were on patrol carrying out their duty and fulfilling their latest and biggest mission yet.
Despite the imminent danger, everyone was in a celebratory mood, having fun, eating, and drinking wine. At last, they were able to capture one of, if not, the most dangerous titan outside the walls. Meanwhile, Levi Ackerman, the captain of the Survey Corps Special Operation Squad, did his watch. He positioned himself above the trees while drinking tea.
A man's voice suddenly called out from below. "Don't tell me, you're not joining the fanfare?"
"Tch." Levi glanced quickly and looked away. "I can only celebrate after tomorrow." He took a gulp from his teacup.
"This seems oddly familiar." The man continued, seeing that Levi was still listening despite the fact that he seemed disinterested. "You and me in the middle of the forest, trying to have a decent conversation." There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
Levi scoffed. "But this time, I'm gonna make sure you'll bite the dust with that shit mouth of yours."
"Hey, no need for profanities." The shadow of a male man sitting on a log appeared. "Can we talk properly, just this once?"
Fucker.
Levi thought to himself. Whenever he hears this man's voice, disdain and anger circulate in his entire being. He gripped his blades with both hands but decided to restrain himself.
Levi is on the edge. He knew this man was provoking him to do something stupid and use it to his advantage. And no, he wouldn't fall for that..at least not now.
He took another sip of tea, breathing heavily and trying to get ahold of the last remnants of his self-control.
"Let's talk about the only thing we have in common..." The man said as he looked at the campfire crackling in front of him.
"Her."
Levi's eyes widened. As if on cue, his body was shaking with anger, so much so that even if he was holding the cup securely from the rim, it slipped through his fingers and crashed on the ground. He impartially looked at the shattered pieces and clenched his fist tightly.
He's ready to kill.
