This Might Be A One-Shot, If it's Not: Chapter 1

Five's POV

I turned back almost immediately, by then I saw that that shack had dissapeared and I saw a flash of long black hair round the corner, I teleported a few paces behind her and was just in time to see her teleport to an unknown location. Dammit.

-A FEW WEEKS LATER-

I was walking home from school and I saw Adria walk into an office building. She wasn't at school anymore, obviously. So I hadn't seen her in weeks. I followed her into the office building from a distance, she went to a conference room and sat down with, the Handler. I listened outside the room.

"So glad you made it honey!" The Handler said to Adria

"Hi mom." Adria said. I froze. Mom? So she wasn't the Handler? I returned to listening before making conclusions.

"I called you to have a talk about your brother, to review the rules." The Handler told Adria. Was I Adria's brother or not? Who where they referring to? Questions spun into a soup in my head.

"I know Mom. I can't contact Five in any way. I can't let him know that I'm not the Handler, but you are." Adria huffed. So they were referring to me.

"Wonderful, Your twin brother must never find out who him mother is, though she is rather wonderful." The Handler said with a laugh. I near passed out my then, the Handler was clearly saying that she was my mother. Oh dear god.

"Okay mom, I'm going to go know." Adria said, leaving the room. I was caught off guard but she didn't even notice me. She left the conference room and went down the stairwell. I entered after her and she was sitting on one of the steps. She wasn't crying, just sitting there in pain. I almost felt bad for her. She stood up, and walked down the stairs. I silently followed after her. I continued to follow her, she walked all the way to the ally where her 'bakery' was. There where a group of creepy guys in the ally, they started to walk towards her. I was still watching her, she could use her powers to keep them away, easy. She wasn't a damsel in distress. They tried to grab her and stepped back in shock. chunks of rock were rising from the pavement, all aiming at the guys.

"I can and will kill you without breaking a sweat, don't try it." She said icily. I was shooketh. I didn't know she could do that. The guys ran off like scared kittens. The rocks dropped to the ground and she turned around, finally spotting me.

"Why did you lie?" I asked her, stepping into full view.
