Join in the fun! Try to fish out the werewolves among them...

"Aah, this is boring." Naruto complained. It was a lecture free week after exams so many were left with nothing to do. Much like our blond hero, the rest of his friend group also found themselves complaining of boredom.

"We could play among us." Tenten offered. Right now it was her, Kiba and Naruto in the dance studio as usual. Sasuke was there too but he was minding his own business like always.

"You mean the video game? No. I'm tired of video games." Kiba shook his head.

"No, I'm talking about my own version. It's a card game I came up with when I was bored. Based off a game in a Chinese movie but mine nevertheless." Tenten informed. "I call it, among us; ninja style!"

"It sounds fun. Hey Sasuke, wanna play?" Naruto asked the dark haired teen whom he was sure heard the conversation.

"No." Sasuke refused like it would do anything to stop Naruto. As you probably expected, he ended up agreeing. He was rather curious about the game even though he would not admit it.

"Okay, we need seven people more to make game really interesting." Tenten said.

"No worries!"

Naruto and Kiba amazingly gathered seven people (willing and unwilling) in a span of two minutes.

Sakura, Ino and Karin came because they learnt that Sasuke was playing and Hinata came solely for Naruto. Neji automatically followed Hinata like the overprotective big brother he is and Shikamaru was kidnapped in his sleep. Lee was the only willing person other than Gaara who had nothing else to do so all eleven people were gathered.

Tenten had prepared for their arrival before hand and placed some cards on the floor. They were hand made and small enough to be hidden behind the palm.

"I would explain the rules of the game now. There are fourteen cards and eleven characters in this game. First is the Judge who oversees the game. I am obviously going to be the judge since nobody knows how to play this game." Tenten was cut off by Kiba.

"It's basically Among us, right?"

"Shut up Kibbles. As I was saying, the impostors in this game are called Werewolves and they are two in number. Their job is to kill characters in the game and act innocent." Tenten explained, holding up a card with a full moon drawn on it.

"I thought this was 'Ninja style?' This time it was Neji that interrupted.

"Shut up, Neji. These are the couple. They are also two in number and have it worst. If a couple gets eliminated, the other is also eliminated and if one gets revived, the other also gets revived. As for the revival part of the game, the Witch is the one that does that."

Tenten showed a card with a witch hat.

"Along with the witch card comes a poison card and a cure card. Both can only be used once. A witch can decide to revive a character when they are eliminated, and if eliminated they can either revive themselves with the cure card or use the poison card to take out whoever they feel is a werewolf with them."

"How convenient." Sakura said.

"This is the Prophet. The Prophet has the opportunity to check a character's card to see what they are. It is used only once. When a Prophet is eliminated, they become an Hunter. An Hunter has one chance to take a werewolf down with him."

"So there are two with the ability to take down a werewolf? Hn." Sasuke mused out loud. He wanted to be a Witch. Being a witch was very convenient.

"Last but not the least are the Civilians. They are four and are at the bottom of the food chain. They have nothing special and can only pray not to be voted out. Do we get the characters?"

"OSU!" Lee affirmed.

"Yeah, sure, hn, yes, hmm." The others replied in their own ways.

"Good. Now the rules. First rule is to close your eyes when told. No peeking, seriously if you're caught you're out of the game. Peeking is cheating. Two, protect your card at all cost and try to keep a poker face. Nobody should be able to guess what you are just by looking at your face."

"Lee and Naruto are going to have trouble doing that." Shikamaru mumbled. Naruto squawked indignantly.

"Three, be silent if you don't want anyone finding out who you are and lastly, like in the video game you can call for emergency meetings to discuss some things but after each killing, there would be a meeting. You all can decide if you want to discuss or not. You can also vote who you think is the werewolf out."

Tenten shuffled the cards and arranged them on the floor after taking out the poison and cure cards for the Witch and the hunter card for the Prophet.

"Pick one, hide your cards." Tenten reminded as they all picked.

Hinata flushed at the card she picked and looked hopefully at Naruto. 'I hope he's my partner. ' She thought dreamily.

Gaara had a poker face going on as he picked his card although his face seemed to darken suspiciously.

Naruto looked appalled at the card he got and tried to switch cards but it wasn't possible.

Sasuke was satisfied with his card. Not what he wanted but it was okay.

Neji allowed a smile to stretch his face internally. He got just what he wanted!

"Whoa! I am a youthful-!" Lee started to reveal his card nature but shut up at once as he remembered the rules. Now everyone was looking at him suspiciously.

Kiba blinked at his card and groaned in disappointment.

Sakura paled at her card and hoped that she would not be eliminated so soon.

Karin was relieved. It wasn't what she wanted but what she got wasn't that bad.

Ino pouted at her card and looked at Sasuke. She wanted to be his partner.

"Good! Now everyone close your eyes. Have some self respect, no peeking." Tenten glanced around to ensure that they all closed their eyes and nodded to herself satisfied. "Witch, open your eyes."

A pair of eyes opened and Tenten smirked in amusement as she silently passed the person the poison card and the cure card. They hid the cards in their breast pocket wisely so that no one would be suspicious.

"Witch, close your eyes. Prophet open your eyes." Tenten passed them the hunter card which they also hid wisely. "Prophet, close your eyes." Their eyes slipped closed. "Among us, there are two werewolves." The girl spoke in a kind of voice that gave thrills to the statement.

"Werewolves, open your eyes."

Tenten was surprised at the turnout of events. Nobody would guess that they are the werewolves at all.

"Werewolves, kill somebody."

Who is who?!
