Chase has been seeing nightmares and hearing a voice.
That voice isn't that bad because it has helped him out of trouble. Chase wonders who is the voice and why he helps him. The nightmares aren't very great. He always sees a pup who is complete stranger.
That pup is in the late teenager years. He has light brown eyes and brown fur. Like Chase, he is German Shepherd. What makes him terrifying is the fresh blood on the right side of the face. Chase tries to talk with him but then he wakes up. And the voice dissapears after warning him about incoming danger.
Like this time...
The car has droven off the road and now hangs near the cliff. Ryder has designated Chase and Marshall in his EMT gear.
Chase barked out the winch and put that around hind bumper. Then he barked the finch back and the car was on the road again. Marshall started to check over the man behind the wheel. Suddenly Chase heard:" Watch out, behind you!" Chase looked behind him and saw a falling rocks what rolled towards him. He jumped out of the way and rocks fell down the cliff. Ryder asked:" You alright?" Chase nodded and jumped into his truck. "Only a fright," Marshall said:" But the car is damaged." Ryder said:" I'll call Rocky." Without any of them noticing, Chase drove near of the trees beside the mountain and looked around there. There he saw a shadow running away. Chase gasped. Wasn't it the dog in his dreams? He went to invicticate.
He ran after the shadow. And then he stumbled into the river. Chase tried to get out but he couldn't. Until somebody took him by the collar and jumped into other side of the river. Chase coughed and barely said:" Thank you." He looked at the rescuer and froze. It was a dog from his dreams! Dog asked:" Suprised?" Chase nodded. Dog said:" I know that it seems impossible but i'm spirit. You can call me Shadow." Chase asked:" Why you always helped me? And how?" Shadow said:" I'm protective spirit. And we are somehow related. After watching you grow i choosed to protect you." Chase asked:" Watching me?" Shadow nodded. "I wanted to keep safe somebody from my bloodline." Chase noticed a puptag with some kind of the gem. "Don't mind that," Shadow said:" It's something what helps you see and touch me. And other way around. It was always with me." Chase reached his paw out and he felt a cold fur. "Is it a prank?" Chase asked:" There is no things as ghosts. Expecialy the ones who i can touch." Shadow said:" You will be suprised. But for now you should get back to your team. And remember my extinsence should be a secret. You must not tell that to Marshall or Skye. Not even Ryder." Chase was confused. How did he know that those three are closest to him? Chase said:" I think that i can manage that." Shadow nodded and ran away, fading away.
Chase got back. Ryder asked:" Where were you?" Chase remembered that he shouldn't tell them about Shadow and said:" I needed to go." Ryder nodded and said:" Now we are ready to return to the Lookout."
The pups followed him.
