Followed

The sun dawns the horizon, The monsters view the lights in an awe as they were fulfilled within amazement. You've done it, you've got the ending you could ever want to obtain. they'll never remember what deeds had you done within the past.

You took a quick glance upon the broken barrier behind the darkening abyss of the cave, yet to find nothing in glance. You swore you could've seen a glimpse of a white, empty eyes, giving out a sinister grin as it glances at you.

You held toriel's arm in worriment as she let out an embrace, in which you return with a sigh of relief as you continue to watch the dawned large fiery flames darkening within the mountain gaze.

The glance lasted for more than minutes, as each monster glanced at the top of the cliff then left, one by one, each having their own priorities in hand.

There, you're left out with toriel, who still held upon each other's hands.

"Frisk..." Toriel began, having to commit the silence, "you came from this world, right...?"

The Ruins Caretaker then stares aside as she felt a slow guilt upon her forming mouth, "So, you must have a place to return to, do you not?"

Her eyes closes for a moment, inhaling as she reopens it, yet still remains her smile of optimism, "What will you do now?"

Nevertheless, the sinister feeling upon your grasp hadn't disappeared. You stare at Toriel, insisting for you to stay with her. Her eyes fazed into one of a surprise for a moment, as she closes her eyes and curve her mouth into one of a sincere smile.

"Frisk..." Toriel tranquils her voice, looking aside towards the underground behind, "you really are a funny child. If you had said that earlier, none of this would have happened."

"It is a good thing you took so long to change your mind," she jokes aside, letting a soft chuckle.

"Well," Toriel continues, "I suppose, if you really do not have any other places to go, I will do my best to take care of you, for as long as you need."

"Alright?" she pats your head, in which you nod with affirmation, "now, come along."

You held Toriel's hand, feeling the sinister feeling crawling in your back, slowly waning from it's existence.

"Everyone's waiting for us," she exclaims in rather an excitement, bringing you along towards the upcoming ventures within.

...

(Weeks Later)

You were home, alone. Time passed as the raindrops were heard outside. You sat at the table seat, given to how Toriel had prepared a butterscotch pie, warmth of its smell had given you your safety. You glance around to find a spoon, only to stop upon a curious glance of a family photographic image.

Frisk, or perhaps you now, could be seen standing with a neutral smile with the other monster you're familiarized with. Asgore, Toriel, Alphys, Undyne…

You suddenly paused upon re-looking at your smile... seemingly more curved of a grin than a neutral smile itself. You rub your eyes in confusion as you ensure to stare back in a more refrained position, reviewing your face to be replaced.

Horrific scenery suddenly pierces thorough, laying you into the same remembrance within your moments of respite. The same sinister smile you've remembered upon the glance of the white empty eyes, seemingly smiling at you with its stare.

You reflexively haste onto your room in fear, as you turn the lights on. you quickly dove onto the bed, covering yourself within blankets as you stayed there in moments of hyperventilation. You prayed for Toriel to come home faster upon your horrifying experience.

You slowly peeked upon your blanket, with your shaky arms intact. The lights were out, as you feel the room temperature lowering. you reach out of your blanket as you stare at the light sockets a few meters away from your room, in which the moonlights shone upon, reflecting lights onto the window as it shone weak blurred rays upon the room, in which is covered by the curtains.

You step out of your blanket, stepping carefully towards the cold floor as you head on to turn on the lights, until the curtains blew through the window, in which caught you offguard. You back away in the sudden reaction, as you reflexively stare at the.. closed window?

You cautiously step closer as you cautiously held the blown curtains aside. There, you saw your grim reflection. empty glowing eyes with sinister smile.

...

The white former glow slowly wane into a dim, as the reflection from the window itself slowly reveals a strange red furred creature with eyes gazing unsync at your lone figure. The window opens as it barges its head inside, staring at you in question.

"Do you know da wae?"
