This will be a short story, made entirely for fluff. Enjoy.

Butters and Lola were at Stark's Pond, having a picnic. They were eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, until Butters spoke up. "Hey, Lola?"

His girlfriend looked at him with gentle eyes. "Yeah, what is it?" She asked in her smooth, feminine voice.

Butters blushes. "Um, Lola? Can... c-can I see your hair?"

Lola raises her eyebrow. "Why?"

"It's just... I-I really find your hair simply amazing a-and I just thought that, well, I want a closer look at it. So Lola, please, can you let me see your hair?"

"Oh, sure." Lola puts her hair over her shoulders, letting Butters stare at it. Butters smiles and presses his hands together.

"Thanks, erm... now can I touch your hair?"

"Huh?" Lola was now really confused. 'Where is this leading up to?', she wondered. Butters rubs his fists nervously.

"Um, because, I really, really like you and um... I think your hair is pretty a-and I'm just really curious to see how it feels. I mean, living day by day with such long hair must really be something, don't it? I'm sorry if this sounds weird or creepy, but I just like you a lot and... Lola, I just want to be closer to you, is all."

Lola gasped, but then giggles at her boyfriend. "Okay Butters, you can touch my hair. But make sure you don't leave any wrinkles, all right? Or else I'll be mad at you."

Lola swept her hair back and scoots closer to Butters, her legs curled to one side as she patiently waits for him to make the first move. Butters admires the shiny, brown luster of her hair, how well-combed and clean it is. Plenty of girls and some guys at school would be jealous at such hair. "Wow..." He crept his fingers through her locks and embraces the feeling of the smooth, silky structure, before reaching up to her neck.

"Lola, it's so smooth and silky. Almost like a princess."

Lola smiles and blushes, before laying her head on his shoulder. "I love you, Butters." She whispered, nuzzling him.

Butters gasped at first, but then hugs Lola closer to himself. "I love you too, Lola." He said. The couple continued their embrace while the bright blue sky reflects the sea, and Stark's Pond in turn filling the romantic air with rippling waves.

This is partially inspired by Eureka Seven, when the main character Renton asked if he can touch Eureka's wings.
