Familiar of Zero: Twin Dragons
Chapter 01
Simon and Saito were flying in the former's Lockheed C-130 transport aircraft. As the latter was checking the cargo. Simon radioed over the planes intercom to Saito. As he saw a large gate opened, ready to receive their transport and cargo.
"Um, Saito is it normal for a huge ass gate to form out of nowhere in the sky?"
"No,why?" Saito replied over the intercom, wondering what the commotion was about.
"Because not only is one open, but it's drawing us in" Simon spoke over the intercom "Hang on to something, Its going to be a bumpy ride".
Saito Grabbed onto the Sherman tank in storage, which was snug against a shipping container, as the turbulence of going through the gate begun to hit the mostly full cargo hold. As the Turbulence subsided, he felt the plane take a shallow nosedive. As Simons announced from the cockpit.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your pilot speaking, due to arriving in unknown lands we'll be preforming a emergency landing"
Saito Gulped as the plane tilted into a soft downward spiral. Seeing the landing gear expand outward, he realized that things were not going to be easy from here on out.
After ten minuted a soft thud was felt around as it levelled out and landed outside of the Tristainian Magic Academy Grounds. Simon turned the engines off after the plane came to a full stop. The Students and Faculty ran out to investigate the commotion.
"What the heck is that!?"
"Did the zero just summon that thing!?"
"Calm down!"
"Look people are coming out of the back of it!"
Saito came out in his typical attire, a simple blue and white hoodie, black pants and shoes. When Simon came out in his attire, a redhead with blue eyes and dark skin. Simon wore a old world war two era us air force uniform with steel reinforced boots. As they came out they were immediately crowded over by strange clothed people.
"Wait a minute I never heard or read anything about Peasant's being familiar candidates!" the pink haired girl shouted.
Both Saito and Simon tried to back off into the plane once more but were blocked by more second year students. It was then a bald spectacled man came forth and said "You can only preform the ritual once, please continue miss De La Valliere".
"Eh with this!?" The pinkette said as she poked her wand into Simon's abdomen. The tech nodded "Yes otherwise the headmaster will have no choice but to expel you right now".
Without another word, Saito was first pulled down to Louise's height. The pinkette said something that Simon couldn't make out, then out of nowhere kissed him on the lips. Causing a brand to form upon Saito's left hand.
When everything was said and done, Simon closed the cargo hold up once more. While Saito was required to follow the pinkette and her class, Simon with the remaining faculty was escorted to and up into the headmaster's office.
Later on in the headmaster's office
"If I am hearing this correctly, you and that other boy own that strange airship?"
The headmaster was a elderly man with white hair and a long beard. He wore a black robe covering the rest of his clothing. Simon sighed and replied "Technically you are half correct, I own the Aircraft".
The head master nodded, no one else was in the room, he said "The reason I had you brought here was to make a proposal". The headmaster narrowed his eyes and added "Tristain is looking to modernize it's infrastructure and it's Military, due to growing tensions between Albion's nobility and the royal family".
"So you want my help with that, fair enough" Simon let a sigh out once more "All I ask is for a place to store my stuff, some assistance and a roof over my head with meals".
The headmaster pondered for a while, before saying "you don't ask for much, very well then you'll be working closely with people like professor Colbert from now on".
Simon bowed "Thank you, now may I check on my companion please?".
The headmaster nodded and Simon as escorted to Louise's room to check in on Saito.
Later on outside of Louise's room.
A loud explosion was heard as Simon stood outside of the room that Saito was now residing in. This caused the former to violently knock on the door 'What the fuck is going on in there!?'. That was the only thought going through his head at the time.
The Pinkette, Louise answered the door and shouted in Simons face "What!?". Before looking up and blinking twice 'Oh Crap didn't realize how huge this guy was until now!'. An annoyed Simon then asked.
"Is something wrong miss?"
Louise Hastily opened her door to reveal a soot covered Saito "No, If you'd like you can see for yourself".
Upon looking around the sleeping conditions, Ideas started to pop into Simon's head. Then he looked over the bed of straw with no pillows nor a sheet for him.
"OK, first thing is getting a proper bed with bedding, cheaper the better" Simon bluntly said, before adding "Second I'd recommend sending him down to the servants quarters for his meals".
"Wait what?" Louise asked confused before regaining her composure "OK,fine but why help me?".
"I'm doing this for both of you're sakes" Sighing he was about to walk out before calmly adding "Anyway if you need any more advice, Miss Valliare I'll be working around Colbert's Workshop if you need me".
The room was silent as both Saito and Louise were left confused. Stunned at the sudden appearance and advice that suddenly on top of leaving like that with a commanding presence.
'Just who was this guy?' was the only thought going through Louise's mind. Either way Something in the back of her mind told her, that man was not to be trifled with.
