Chapter One: Prologue

One night in the middle of Mobius, we enter the home of Sonic the Hedgehog. He was a young cobalt blue hedgehog, with peach arms, stomach, and snout, and emerald green eyes. He also wore red and white sneakers, and white gloves.

He was babysitting his niece, Sonette, as her parents were out for work the entire week, as they were business people. She was an eight-year-old sky blue hedgehog, with lime green eyes, and she was wearing pink pyjamas, with white polka dots. At this moment, it was time for Sonette to go to sleep, and Sonic was reading her a story. He was reading Cinderella to her.

"And Cinderella and the Prince lived happily ever after. The end." Sonic finished the story.

"Wow, Uncle Sonic! That story is so magical." Sonette explained happily.

"Well, it goes to show, if you have a dream, and you wish hard enough, it will eventually come true." Sonic smiled.

"Well, I know I have a dream that I want to come true." Sonette explained.

"Well, keep that dream to yourself. Because if you want it to come true like how Cinderella did, you need to keep it to yourself. Because if you say out loud for people to hear..." Sonic was cut off.

"...it won't ever come true. I know, Uncle Sonic." Sonette smiled.

"OK, squirt, it's getting late, and you need your sleep for school, and I need to get back to work up in the attic. Goodnight, sweetheart." Sonic told her, as he kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight, Uncle Sonic." Sonette called.

She laid her head down on the pillow, and Sonic walked towards the door, and was about to switch off the light, until he heard a voice.

"Uncle Sonic?" Sonette called again. Sonic turned to face her.

"Yes, Sonette?" Sonic responded.

"So you believe in magic?" she asked. Sonic chuckles.

"Well, the truth is, seeing is believing. I haven't seen it yet, so I can't answer that for you. But whenever I do find the answer, I'll let you know, or it's up to you to find out." Sonic explained.

"OK, Uncle Sonic. Goodnight." she thanked. She then laid her head down on the pillow to sleep, and Sonic switches off the light.

"Sweet dreams, Angel." Sonic responded.

After that, he closed the door, and made his way towards his attic. He was a craftsman in his spare time, and he crafted many things from board games, dolls, furniture, and many other things. He took out a board game that he's been working on for months, and was close to finishing. The board game was called GreenHilltopia.

"OK, just need to add the final details to the princess, and this should be done." Sonic stated.

Sonic took out his paint, and began to colour the eyes. He got a shade of jade green, and painted the sculpture's iris. The sculpture was a pink hedgehog with now just painted in jade green eyes, her quills were long and flowing, she wore a sky blue headband with a gold buckle on the left side of her head, long white gloves with gold rings on both wrists, and a long dress with a mix of white, sky blue and cobalt blue. Sonic finished painting the eyes.

"There we go, finished. Now to give you a name. I shall call you Princess Amelia Rose. Or for short, we can call you Amy." Sonic smiled.

Sonic then placed the sculpture down on the table, who he had just named Amy, and sat on his stool, and stared at it.

"Wow, this is probably my favourite sculpture I have ever made. I know she's just a sculpture for my board game, but even so, she is just so beautiful." Sonic thought.

He kept staring at this sculpture for another ten minutes. After that length of time, he began to yawn, as he was feeling very tired. Not just because he had been working, but also because he had been looking after his niece, Sonette.

"Well, I guess it's time I head off to bed. Been a very tiring week." Sonic said to himself.

After that, he didn't think twice on putting the board game away, as he was too tired. Then he made his way down from the attic, and made his way towards his bedroom. When he got to the bedroom, he was about to get changed into his pyjamas, until he heard a sound coming from outside.

"What is that sound?" Sonic wondered.

He heard that this sound was not coming from outside the house, it was actually coming from inside the house. Sonic then exits his bedroom, and looks into the hallway.

"Sonette, are you out of bed? You're supposed to be sleeping for school in the morning." Sonic warned.

Sonic then noticed that Sonette's bedroom door never even moved. He then opened Sonette's bedroom door, and saw that she was sound asleep. Sonette was still laying on her bed.

"Wait, so if Sonette is here, then who's making that sound?" Sonic wondered.

He then closes her bedroom door, and he turns round, and sees a light just bright enough to shine from the attic. He heard voices coming from it.

"OK, who's up there? How did you get in my house?!" Sonic asked demandingly.

Sonic then made his way towards the attic, and he pulled down the latch to open it, and bring down the ladder. The light was so bright, it blinded Sonic for a moment. He grunted in shock.

"What on Earth is going on here?!" Sonic wondered again.

As the light dims down a bit, he then made his way up the ladder, and he looked around. And by his surprise, he saw a bright light glowing from the board game. He walked towards it so he could inspect it.

"What on Earth is this?" Sonic wondered.

Sonic then saw a book next to the board game, which this book he has never seen before. He picked the book up, and he began to read it.

"I've never seen this book before. Where did this even come from?" Sonic wondered.

Sonic opens the book up, and reads the page. He saw something which looks as if it meant something in the lines of a spell. He wasn't sure what any of this meant, but he decided to read it.

By night one way, your day is done, now is your time to join in on the fun.

I wish I may, I wish I might, it is time for you to prepare for a fight.

In this magical world, you shall now stay, until you find which can light your way.

Now this light has filled in your room, it's time to face the wrath of the fearsome Black Doom!

"Face the wrath of the fearsome Black Doom? But, he's a made up character I made for this game! How is this possible?" Sonic wondered.

Suddenly, an aura made its way out of the board, and it surrounds Sonic. Sonic couldn't move, no matter what he tried to do, he just could not budge.

"Hey! Let go of me!" Sonic yelled.

But this aura lifts Sonic from the ground, and Sonic screams in fear. The aura then pulls Sonic towards the board, and Sonic's body evaporated inside the board.

"HELP ME! SONETTE, ANYONE, HEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Sonic yelled.

But it was no use, Sonic had disappeared, and nobody, and not even Sonic knows where.
