PROLOGUE

In psychology there are emotions, defined the seven fundamental emotions: joy, sadness, fear, anger, disgust, surprise and contempt. Then, there are the so-called secondary emotions, derived from the primary: happiness, envy, jealousy, passion, anxiety, nostalgia, remorse... And a lot more. It is interesting to note that most of these emotions, both primary and secondary, are negative and mostly related to inner pain. In most cases, the human being experiences these feelings instead of those few linked to happiness. This happens because life is so full of terrible moments that people almost forget what it's like to feel joyful and hopeful about the future. You get to a point where even those rare and brief moments of true happiness, are lived in ways similar to fiction. Take a parent with their child. Maybe the child is happy for a new toy or something that in the eyes of an adult might seem trivial. But, of course, in order not to upset their child, they also pretend to be enthusiastic. The truth is, despite always trying to stay positive, you get to a point where even the most enthusiastic and joyful person in the world gives up and stops feeling those emotions. Life, as I said long ago, is difficult while death is serene and easy. But when you are the most dangerous predator on Earth... When you are forced to live for, literally, eternity... So, how do you overcome all the difficulties and pains of life? I wish I had a more detailed answer... but for now, I'll just have to settle for... Just do it.
