I've been meaning to try a Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss story for a while now, mostly just to see what I can pull off. I find the former a curious topic to try messing around with and I find the latter to funny to pass up on.

So I'm gonna take a shot and try to see what I can pull off in my spare time. Here's to taking chances.

He didn't exactly remember dying.

Last thing he could remember though was the sound of his heart monitor flatlining and then everything going black. In those last few seconds he knew he wasn't gonna wake up again. He wasn't that lucky.

So when he did, he was honestly taken by surprise.

Honestly more surprised when he found himself falling from the sky, which in turn earned a rather honest and expected response.

Screaming.

"Oh shit!" Screaming Tyler dropped like a penny from a skyscraper, and only stopped when he slammed face first into the ground.

"Ow~" He whimpered in pain before slowly opening his eyes and turning his head. "Gonna… gonna feel that later…" He whimpered for a moment longer. "Gonna feel that now too." He continued as he just laid on the ground and closed his eyes again. He opened then a second later as he sat up. Hands on the ground for a split second before patting himself down. "Wait I'm alive?" He muttered in amazement as he looked around, finding himself in a city he didn't really recognize.

Fuck you heaven was written on one of the walls. And it looked like people were just going about their day, seemingly ignoring the fact he just fell from a building…

Least he was pretty sure he fell from a building.

But since when do hospitals throw people out of buildings?

Looking at his hands the young man froze, finding himself unable to recognize them. "What the?" His hands were amethyst in color and his wrists seemed to just disappear with how large his forearms had become. "Huh?" He began, trying to fight off the growing confusion that was rising within him as he looked around again, found a car window and stumbled over to it. His back felt really weird for some reason, like something was dragging behind him.

Reaching the mirror he looked at his reflection, that strange pit in his stomach starting to grow as he started getting a reflection cast in the window. Unlike his hands he recognized who was staring back at him, somewhat anyway. He recognized a young man, he recognized the face but… everything else was wrong. His brown hair had turned dark grey and what were up with his eyes?" The whites were blue for some reason. He touched two uneven horns on his head and found they were real, and then turned repeatedly to try getting a look at the fat tail growing out of his lower back. "What the actual hell?" He muttered before looking back in the window and saw something on one of the signs reflected overhead. "What the…"

He turned around to get a better look at it, and his dropped faster than his body did minutes ago. "Welcome to…"

"Welcome to hell."

This didn't make any sense.

Tyler told himself as he continued walking the streets staring at the people - no demons that were just going about like nothing was wrong. Rubbing his forehead the young man just groaned as he tried making sense of things.

"This can't be right." He muttered to himself. "This has to be some kinda joke, I can't be in Hell." He muttered. "Hell isn't real." He told himself.

Tyler had always been a good person. Sure he wasn't the best, but he'd always been a good person. He listened to his parents. He was loyal to his friends. Every fight he got into was for those self defense classes. So why… how was he "here". Hell if it did exist was for murderers and pedos right? So why was he here?

"This doesn't make sense." He grumbled as he continued walking, stopping to stare at the massive tail dragging behind him and lifted it up with his hands. Bottom was already covered in dirt and some loose gravel but that was it. Dragging it was getting kinda irritating though.

Tail in hand he just walked on, taking repeated looks at it as he took a breath. "It's real." He told himself. "I really have a tail." He muttered. "I have horns and…" He took a breath. "I'm in hell." He told himself before stopping and looking around. "I am in hell right?"

Tyler wasn't religious, he didn't believe in heaven and hell, but he knew "a bit" about the old beliefs mostly thanks to his grandparents and videogames. Good people go up, bad people go down, and if you go down there lot of fire and brimstone, and endless torture.

This though…

"This is… a city." Tyler muttered to himself as he watched some dog-person walk out of a meat shop. "This is an everyday city." He stated as he turned to see a lamb lady talking to some imp like creature. "This can't be hell, right." He asked before noticing a light starting to grow behind him.

A car was coming in his direction.

A car that wasn't bothering to slow down.

Without much prompting he bolted to the sidewalk as it nearly ran him over.

"Hey!"

"Get out the road ya dumb ass!" Tyler sighed as he stopped his erratic heartbeat got back to walking, looking at his tail as he continued to hold it before trying to move it. The tip of his tail twitched as Tyler slowly let it go and let it drop to the ground a sack of bricks. He tried moving it again and for his tries he managed to get it to lift up before it violently jerked to the side and a smack was heard.

"Hey!"

"Sorry!" Tyler looked to see who his tail had hit and saw a woman rubbing her ass as her counterpart just glared at the youth. 'Oh crap…' "Sorry I didn't mean to!"

"Like hell you little..." The demon took a whiff and back off covering his nose as his lady waved a hand in front of her own nose. "Dude you stink!"

"I... what?" Tyler looked at his strangely colored arms and took a whiff of them. "I don't stink... do I." Sure he was in the hospital for a few days so he couldn't exactly shower, but hey he didn't smell that bad.

"You smell like you musta just died." The woman stated as she looked the young man over. "Probably did."

"That explains your stench." The male demon muttered as he stared at Tyler before pulling his woman along. "I'd wup ya ass but I don't want that stench on me." He muttered before wandering off with his woman. "Hit the showers, loser!"

"Uh..." Tyler paused as he watched the two demons walk on. "Ok." He mumbled as he looked at his hands again before taking another whiff of his arms. "I don't really smell anything." He grumbled before wandering off. "Least I'm not gonna get my ass kicked first day in Hell."

"Don't count on that kid." Tyler paused as he turned to see several other demons looking at him. Grinning with a few bats and brass knuckles in their hands. "Someone's got to give ya a proper Hell's welcome now."

"Ah Hell."
